Egyptian President Mubarak calls the UN impotent as protests in the Arab world against Israel increase

Egyptian President Mubarak says that the Security Council of the United Nations (UN) had revealed its impotence in its response to Israel's conflict with Hizbullah and he called for an immediate ceasefire. At the same, calling for an urgent international investigation into the Israeli attack on the South Lebanese village of Qana.

Mubarak said that the security Council had failed to deal rapidly and effectively with Israeli aggression and to fulfill its responsibility for international peace and security. At the same time, many of the Arab states are facing outrage and protests at home against Israel's actions, pushing their nations to take a tougher stand on the conflict.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Condemnation by the Arab world of the international political body of the UN is a precursor to a scenario found in Bible prophecy for the Last Days. Kofi Annan, the Secretary General of the UN, has come under fire from many of the Arab world leaders as the delay for a ceasefire between Israel and Hizbullah continues.

Meanwhile in the Arab street, Arab-Islamic nations are seeing more and more political protests against the aggression of Israel, as the protesters claim, and increasing support for Hizbullah and their fight against Israel. This scenario that I've described is a stage set for Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

Daniel and Ezekiel wrote of the alignment of nations that we see against Israel, that's Daniel 11 and Ezekiel 38. Joel wrote of a massive army, like never before on the earth, that will attack Israel, that's Joel 2:3. John the Revelator, in Revelation 13-18, wrote of a one world government led by a one world ruler, the Antichrist, which would be effective on the world scene.

Mubarak's statement that the United Nations was impotent does for the Antichrist to setup his international world government Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Iraqi PM Maliki says his country is on the front line in the war against terrorism

In a recent speech made at a joint session of the US Congress, the Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki vowed to remain resolute in the face of violent sectarianism that is ripping apart his country as he called Iraq the front line in the war against terror.

Maliki said that his nation has faced tyranny and oppression under the former regime of Saddam Hussein and now they face a different kind of terror. He reminded the Congress that the Iraqis did not bow then, and they will not bow now.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Iraqi PM Maliki's statement about the present struggle in Iraq and its impact on history is correct, that is according to Bible prophecy. The Iraqi government's continuing struggle with the insurgency in this war torn country is the focus of many world leaders who want a true stability to come to this nation that is at the point of a civil war, if not already involved in one.

There are many saying that Iraq is now in a civil war that must be brought under control before the country is completely devastated. The same people are also saying that the only way to bring stability to this war torn country is for a powerful leader, a benevolent dictator, to come to power and bring control out of chaos. The Iraqi government has even said they do not want another Saddam, but indeed a strong man leader is most likely the only way to go for stability.

Revelation 18 reveals that Iraq, which is biblical Babylon, will be the center of the world's political, economic, governmental system in the Last Days, in fact in the days leading up to the return of Jesus Christ. Revelation 13 and 17:16-17 indicate that the Antichrist, a worldwide dictator, will come to power in Babylon, modern day Iraq, and rule the world from that location which will indeed be a stability, howbeit controlled by evil forces.

As PM Maliki told the US Congress, Iraq is on the front line, the front line for End Time prophecy that will be fulfilled.

Israeli PM Ehud Olmert says his nation possesses a secret strong weapon to be used against the missiles of Hizbullah

At Ben Gurion airport in Israel, Prime Minister (PM) Ehud Olmert welcomed 650 French Jewish immigrants to Israel and he told them they were a secret strong weapon against the missiles of Hizbullah.

The Israeli PM told the French immigrants that even in these difficult days, know there is no better, warmer, safer place for the Jewish people than in Israel. The PM said that the enemies of Israel think they know Israelis, but they do not know the deep connection that exists between the Jewish people.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Jewish people from around the world returning to the land of their forefathers, the land of Israel, are indeed a secret weapon that will bring defeat to the enemies of the Jewish people, that is according to Bible prophecy. Within one week, planeloads of Jews from Norh America and France have immigrated to the land of their forefathers.

With Katyusha rockets killing Jews and destroying their homes, Hizbullah believes that they are on the first stages of a war that will see the demise of the Jewish state and the total destruction of the Jewish people. In fact, some Arab leaders say that the entire Middle East region could burst into war, resulting in the destruction of the Jewish state.

The reality of the PM's statement that these new immigrants are a secret weapon, is indeed confirmed by the prophetic word of the Bible. God has committed to fight for the Jewish people, it's in their national name, Israel, which means, God speaking, "I will fight for you", that's Genesis 32. Ezekiel 38:18-23 says that the Lord will indeed protect the Jewish people from the alignment of nations that endeavor to kill all of the Jews. God promised to send the Archangel Michael, during the worst time of persecution, to protect the Jewish people, that's Daniel 12:1.

New Jewish immigrants in Israel indeed are a secret weapon to protect all Jews. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Saudi King Abdullah: Israeli arrogance could cause the entire Middle East to be engulfed in war

Saudi King Abdullah appealed to the world to stop the Israeli Defense Force attacks on Lebanon saying that if peace moves fatal, the Middle East could be engulfed in a full blown war.

The king said that he was giving warning to the world that if the option of peace fails as a result of Israeli arrogance, then the only option remaining will be war, and the king said God alone knows what the region would witness in a conflict that would spare no one.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Saudi King Abdullah's statement that the Middle East could be engulfed in war is correct. That will happen, but not because of the arrogance of the Israeli military, that is according to Bible prophecy. Saudi King Abdullah's warning to the world, in truth, a veiled threat to Israel that if the IDF does not stop its attacks on Lebanon, the entire Middle East could be engulfed in war. This indeed is a page out of Bible prophecy.

Saudi Arabia, the richest nation in the Arab-Islamic world, is a major player, not only in the Middle East region, but in reality throughout the entire world, because they are the number one oil producing nation in the world. When the Saudi king gives a warning of a major Middle East war, people including leaders of the world take notice as they should.

The Psalmist wrote many years ago that Saudi Arabia would be one of the key players in the End Time events in the Middle East, that's found in Psalm 83:6 where the Saudis are referred to as the Ishmaelites. Remember, Ishmael went to live in Arabia almost 4,000 years ago, that's Genesis 25:18. And Mohammed, the founder of Islam who lived in Mecca in Saudi Arabia, said that he was a direct descendant of Ishmael. Psalm 83 also lists other nations that will join with Saudi Arabia to cut off the Jewish state from being a nation, which is what they intend to do according to Psalm 83:4. These nations include: Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, and Iraq among others.

Saudi King Abdullah's warning of a region wide Middle East war is a scenario in Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

Iranian President Ahmadinejad: Israel has pushed the button of its own destruction

The Iranian President Ahmadinejad in another of his radical statements, has declared that Israel had pushed the button of its own destruction by launching its military campaign against the Iranian backed Hizbullah in Lebanon.

In Tehran, the government has sanctioned billboards showing Hizbullah leader Sheikh Nasrallah and a message that claims it is the duty of Muslims to wipe out Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The declaration by Iranian President Ahmadinejad that Israel will be destroyed, wiped off the earth, is contradicted by the ancient Jewish prophets and confirmed by Bible prophecy. For almost 4,000 years, the period of time for the Jewish people on this earth, Satan has been using many agents to carry out his satanic strategy of killing off the Jewish people.

The truth is, that Satan must kill all the Jewish people for his evil strategy to be fulfilled. With the intensity of the crisis in the Middle East today, along comes Ahmadinejad and ratches up the radical rhetoric inciting the Arab and Muslim man on the street. It seems, as has been planned, that the Jews will soon be destroyed and Satan and his human instruments want nothing more than for that to happen. However, that scenario for the Last Days for the Jewish people in Israel and around the world will indeed have the Jewish people come under fierce persecution, but they will not be destroyed. God will intervene.

Ezekiel 38 says an alignment of nations, including Iran will try to destroy the Jewish state. Zechariah, another Jewish prophet, says that two out of every three Jews will be killed in a future Tribulation Period, that's Zechariah 13:8. Matthew 24 records the words of Jesus Christ on the Mount of Olives where He said,"I will hold back total destruction of the Jewish people".

Satan's agents like Iran's President Ahmadinejad, will indeed try to destroy the Jewish people, but God will intervene. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

An Israeli official says Iran can also be wiped off the map

A former Israeli PM and the present Vice PM Shimon Perez said recently that the President of Iran, Ahmadinejad, should remember that Iran can also be wiped off the map.

This expression from Shimon Perez which did not include who should act against Iran if it continues with its development of a Nuclear Weapon of Mass Destruction. Perez said the UN Security Council must take action against Iran and if they are incapable of doing so, they then endanger their existence as an important world body.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Iran will face a time of total destruction, but not at the hands of Israel that is according to Bible prophecy. The threat that Iran's nuclear weapons program imposes on the state of Israel, the middle East, and in fact the entire world is and has been the subject of discussions among world leaders.

Intense debates in the UN Security Council over how to deal with Iran have resulted in delaying a final showdown with the Iranians. Add to that mix, the insightful statements by Iran's President Ahmadinejad and you have a situation that is causing much concern in our world today. The shot fired across the bow by Shimon Perez, Israel's Vice PM, that Iran can also be wiped off the map as a response to Ahmadinejad's call for Israel to be wiped off the map, that statement has interesting prophetic significance.

The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel wrote some 2,500 years ago that Iran, biblical Persia of Ezekiel 38:5, would join a coalition of nations to come against Israel in the Last Days to try to destroy the Jewish state, that's Ezekiel 38:1-17. Ezekiel also wrote that when the attack does happen those attacking nations, including Iran, will be destroyed; 5 out of every 6 of their peoples will be killed, that's Ezekiel 39:1-7.

The statement by Israel's Shimon Perez that Iran could be wiped off the map does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

As rockets fly, planeloads of Jews are arriving in the Middle East

Three thousand American citizens are leaving the comfort and security of the US to make war torn Israel their home even as rockets slam into Israel and Israeli reprisals force Lebanese to flee the border region and parts of Beirut.

Former Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu met these most recent arriving American Jews and told the new Israeli immigrants that they were the best answer to Hizbullah and the former PM pointed out the symbolism of arriving in Israel during a war. A rabbi at the welcoming ceremony told the new immigrants that Israel was the motherland. The rabbi added that Israel is the safest place in the world for Jews.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Three thousand Jews arriving in Israel at a time of war is a page out of Bible prophecy for the End Times. A major effort has been underway over the last several years to have more and more American Jews make their way to the land of their forefathers.

The three thousand to come home, as many posters read as the American Jews deplaned at the Ben Gurion airport in Israel, are made up of Jews from all walks of life and also of all religious preferences. One newly arrived immigrant said that God could have put Israel in Texas, but instead He put the Jewish state in the midst of their enemies to teach them that their security comes from one source, Almighty God. These new arrivals to Israel are at the least a partial fulfillment of Bible prophecy for these End Times.

God told the Jewish people through His prophet Ezekiel that He would search the world for the Jews where they had been scattered and He would then bring them into their homeland. In fact, the Lord made the statement, "I will", eighteen times in Ezekiel 34. Ezekiel, again by God's instruction, told the Jewish people that the present situation with the nations that are now attacking, or at least supporting the attackers, would try to drive them out of His promised land, that's Ezekiel 38:1-18.

Three thousand newly arriving American Jews are indeed a page out of Bible prophecy. Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

Key Middle East players meet at the UN

UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, and the EU's Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana gathered at the UN headquarters in New York City to discuss the very volatile situation in the Middle East.

The goal of the talks at the UN according to Deputy UN Secretary General Mark Brown is to try and get everybody on the same page and to see to what extent there is a common international position.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A gathering of the key Middle East players that does not include a Jewish representative from Israel is a page out of Bible prophecy for the Last Days. Earlier, British PM Tony Blair and UN Secretary General Kofi Annan had called for a peace keeping force to be sent to the Middle East to help restore calm to Israel's Northern border.

The Israeli government rejected that idea at this time. Now, the Secretary General, Kofi Annan, has pulled together the US and the EU leadership to discuss what to do next. Conspicuously absent from this meeting is any representative from the UN member state that has come under attack from a terrorist organization that is bent on the destruction of the entire state; that state of course is Israel.

Jesus Christ, during His Olivet Discourse some 2,000 years ago in Jerusalem, said that this would happen when He said, as recorded in Luke 21:24, that Jerusalem and the Jewish state would be trodden down by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. The definition of that phrase, "The times of the Gentiles", is any time in history when Gentiles, all that are not Jews, will rule over Jerusalem and the Jewish people. At the UN, Gentile world leaders meet to determine what should happen as the Jewish Israeli Defense Force fights to defend its nation and the very existence of its people.

The prophecy of Jesus Christ will be fulfilled when Messiah, Jesus Christ, returns to Jerusalem. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Rabbis in Northern Israel say the evacuation of Jews in the Gaza Strip caused the bloodbath with Hizbullah

"We told you so", was the message relayed by rabbis in the North of Israel as they provided moral and spiritual support to the victims of Hizbullah missile attacks, a message that echoed the warning that unilateral disengagement from Gaza would cause a bloodbath.

One rabbi did however mention the positive side, the outcome of these attacks which he said had caused the Israeli people to band together; and that though the Hizbullah attacks had caused tremendous damage and casualties, they have also revived Israel's national soul.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The "We told you so" message of the rabbis in Northern Israel has a unique connection to Bible prophecy for the Last Days as it relates to the present Israeli-Hizbullah conflict. A year ago this summer, the Israeli government evacuated almost 10,000 Israeli Jewish settlers from the Gaza Strip. At the time of Israel's disengagement from the Gaza, Jewish settlement leaders and the rabbis warned that this evacuation from the land that God had given the Jewish people would prove to be a disaster.

With a potential for another pullout of Jewish land in Judea and Samaria, even the former Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Force, General Moshe Yaalon, said that any such pullout from Jewish land showed weakness and invites disaster. What the general and the rabbis are saying does seem to echo what God's prophetic Word says will be the scenario played out in the Last Days.

Joel 2, Ezekiel 38, and Daniel 11 all speak of a coalition of nations that will come against Israel at a time when they show weakness. The fact that the Bible reveals Iran and Syria are major players in this attack on the Jewish state only highlights the truth of God's prophetic Word. Ezekiel 34:16-30 says that God will give the Jewish people the land of their forefathers in the Last Days and it's not to be given back to their enemies.

The rabbis' message of "I told you so", does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Jews around the world observe a day of fasting marked by war in Israel

Jews around the world mark the beginning of a three week commemoration of the destruction of Jerusalem and the Holy Temples with a day of fasting marked by war in Israel.

These three weeks begin today on the Jewish calendar, the 17th of Tammuz, and they end on the 9th of Av, both of which are days of fasting marking the day of the 9th of Av, when both Holy Temples were destroyed some 2,500 years ago respectively, with these present fast days marked by intensifying war in Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

As war rages in Israel's Southern and Northern regions, the Jewish people mark a day of fasting to remember the destruction of the Temples past and to look forward to a future Temple in Jerusalem, that is according to Bible prophecy.

History reveals to us that both the first Temple built by Solomon in Jerusalem 3,000 years ago and the second Temple rebuilt by the Jews returning from the Babylonian exile some 2,500 years ago were both destroyed on the same day over 600 years apart, the 9th day of the Jewish month of Av. Therefore, the 17th day of the Jewish month of Tammuz marks the beginning of a three week period of time that is set aside yearly to remember the Temples, their destruction, and to pray for the next Temple to be rebuilt.

Interestingly, this period of looking back and looking forward fits the scenario found in bible prophecy for the Last Days. Ezekiel 40-46 describe a Temple that the Messiah will rule and reign from in the future 1,000 year Kingdom, a Temple to be built by the Messiah, Jesus Christ according to Zechariah 6:12. However, the next Temple to be found on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem will be the Temple of Antichrist, according to Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1-2. All the preparations for that Temple are ready right now.

Jews marking the loss of the first two Temples is indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

British PM Tony Blair has called for an EU peace keeping force to be deployed between Israel and Hizbullah

From the G8 Summit in St. Petersburg, Russia, the British Prime Minister (PM) Tony Blair says deployment of an international force along Israel's Northern border is the only way to get succession of hostilities, and the European Union (EU) says it is weighing the deployment of a peace keeping force to Lebanon to help end fighting between Israel and Hizbullah.

PM Blair and UN Secretary General Kofi Annan in a joint news conference said these international forces must be deployed to the region and the UN secretary general said that Israel must abide by international law and spare civilian lives and infrastructure.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The call by both the EU and the UN for an international peace keeping force to deploy to the Middle East to bring about a solution to the Israeli-Hizbullah crisis is a precursor to the scenario found in Bible prophecy for the Last Days. As the crisis in the Middle East, a war between Israel and Hizbullah, continues to intensify, world leaders are now calling for an international force to intercede to bring about peace to the conflict.

This report brings to mind three elements in current events: a conflict in Israel, peace needed to stop the violence, and the element of an international force to be used to bring about the peace, especially a force from the EU. What I have just described is the scenario for the Last Days that can be found in Bible prophecy, actually found in the book of Daniel chapters 7 and 9.

The ancient Jewish prophet wrote 2,500 years ago that the old Roman Empire would be revived, that's Daniel 7:7-8 and 23-25. The ten horns of the revived Roman Empire and the little horn, the Antichrist, a world leader who will, with the revived Roman Empire, bring peace to the Middle East between Israel and her enemies, that's Daniel 9:27.

All the elements are in place for the fulfillment of Bible prophecy and the stage is set for this to happen. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Iran warns Israel not to attack Syria

Iranian President Ahmadinejad warned Israel that if they were to strike Syria, it would be considered an attack on the whole Islamic world that would bring a fierce response against the Jewish state, which could mean the entire Middle East at war.

World leaders like UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, the leaders of the EU, President Bush of the US, and President Putin of Russia, and even King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia are concerned that the Israeli-Hizbullah conflict could lead to an extremely serious situation which could subject all Middle East nations to destruction. Many world leaders feel that the attack, counter attack between Israel and both Hamas in the South and Hizbullah in the North could escalate into a full blown Middle East war.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on thee News

There have been around the clock news reports of the intensifying conflicts between Israel and Hamas in the South with Hizbullah at the Northern border of Israel. These military actions are a page from the last major message of Jesus some 2,000 years ago, a prophetic message that is coming very close to fulfillment.

CNN, the Fox News Channel, and MSNBC along with other news outlets are giving us almost around the clock coverage of the intensifying military action that is focused on the Jewish state of Israel. These network news reports and this report that I'm giving right now, are truly a page from the message that Jesus Christ gave on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem almost 2,000 years ago.

Jesus said, as recorded in Matthew 24:6-7, that there would be wars and rumors of wars, nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom. The present Middle East crisis surely fits that prophecy. Jesus also told John the apostle to write in the book of Revelation about wars that would be prevalent during the seven year period of judgment yet to come; these were recorded in Revelation 6:3-4, 9:1-16, and 19:11-20.

As the world watches the Middle East crisis intensifying, the words of Jesus Christ draw closer to fulfillment, and it could be very soon.

Arabs from around the world are celebrating the Hizbullah attack on Israel

Hizbullah television in Lebanon celebrated the attacks against Israel and the kidnapping of the IDF soldiers as a joyous victory and pride for the Arab world with a special broadcast of conversations with viewers in which participants from Saudi Arabia to Australia to Germany blessed the terror organization for its achievements.

There were numerous and varied expressions of support for Hizbullah coming from so many locations around the world including: a former Lebanese PM, many parliamentarians in the Arab world, plus journalists and columnists which all hurried to praise the accomplishments. Hizbullah's Secretary General Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah said in the television broadcast in a boastful speech that he promises to surprise Israel if they should choose the military option.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The celebration in the Arab world of the Hizbullah attack on Israel is setting the stage for a prophetic scenario to come to pass, that is according to Bible prophecy. As things heat up at Israel's Northern border between the IDF and the terrorist organization Hizbullah, the Arab world, both the man in the street and many Arab officials are celebrating the action taken by Hizbullah against the Jewish state.

Iranian President Ahmadinejad said that Israel's destruction is very close at hand as he praised the Hizbullah actions. If one couples this celebration with the coming together of a mighty Muslim militia that has been called for by many Arab leaders including King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, and you have the scenario called for by the ancient Jewish prophet Joel.

In Joel 2:2-3, the prophet reveals the scenario for the Last Days as a mighty militia like never seen in the world before coming against Israel. Only the massive Islamic Arab world could put together that size of a military might with its worldwide population of 1.3 billion people.

The Hizbullah celebration of their attack on Israel and the Arab world's response is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Israeli PM Olmert declares Hezbollah action at Northern border an act of war

A second front has been opened on Israel's Northern border as Hezbollah, under a barrage of Katyusha rockets and border shells, kidnapped two more Israeli Defense Force troops and Israeli Prime Minister (PM) Ehud Olmert declared the attack an act of war, also saying that Israel's response will be very, very painful.

PM Olmert also singled out Syria for sharp criticism saying that Syria has proven to be a state which sponsors terror organizations with the leadership of Hamas based in Damascus and the fact that Syria facilitates all of Hezbollah's terrorist activities.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Israel has accused Syria of sponsoring terrorism and terror groups that are presently attacking Israel from the North and the South; a declaration of war according to Israel's Prime Minister, and this report is evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled. Within one month, Israel has come under attack at its Southern border and now its Northern border by Islamic fundamentalist terror organizations that have a connection to Syria.

Hamas in the South kidnapped an IDF soldier and now Hezbollah in the North has kidnapped two IDF soldiers, which has prompted Israel to move with force on both fronts. Both Hezbollah and Hamas are dependent on Israel to be able to mount their terrorist activities. The head of Hamas in headquartered in Damascus and the Syrian government continues to facilitate all of Hezbollah's attacks on Israel. All of this terror aggression against the Jewish state of Israel is evidence that Bible prophecy is closer to being fulfilled.

Daniel 11 names Syria, described as the king of the North, as the leader of the nations that will come against the Jewish state in the End Times. By leader, I mean the first state in the Middle East to attack Israel, then to be followed by Egypt, Iran, Turkey, Libya and others, that according to Daniel 11:40-44.

Israel fighting in the North and in the South, and with the Syrian connection on both fronts, there is evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Presidency of the EU will publish its news reports in Latin to remind Europeans of their roots in the old Roman Empire

With the Presidency of the European Union (EU) passing to mild mannered Finland for the next six months, Finland's Prime Minister (PM) pledged an active EU presidency.

The Finnish PM described his country's pragmatic approach in a speech given to the EU parliament and he reiterated that tangible results should be Europe's goal. Stretching back to ancient times, the Finnish EU presidency will publish all EU news in Latin, the language of the old Roman Empire.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The EU presidency publishing their latest news reports in Latin, the language of the old Roman Empire, is evidence of the connection between the EU and the Roman Empire as it relates to Bible prophecy. In the last year the EU faced its biggest setback when two nations did not approve the EU constitution for ratification.

Austrianates strides forward in the moving of the 25 EU member states towards another opportunity for ratifying the constitution. And now, Finland, who presently holds the EU presidency wants to be more than a caretaker presidency. They want to provide an atmosphere for the EU members to see how they can and must work together for the better good of all the members.

The present-day link between the EU and the old Roman Empire, the Latin language news reports to be published by Finland, are evidence of progress in the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. The ancient Jewish prophet Daniel wrote of a revival of the Roman Empire in the Last Days when he referred to the ten horns of the awesome beast in Daniel 7:7 which actually was describing a revival of the Roman Empire as revealed in Daniel 7:23-25 and Revelation 17:3, 12. The EU may or may not be the fulfillment of these prophecies, but for sure it is the infrastructure for the revived Roman Empire.

Publishing European news in Latin, the language of the old Roman Empire, is evidence that Bible prophecy is coming closer to fulfillment.

Iranian President Ahmadinejad declares there will soon be an explosion that will wipe Israel off the map

At a recent Arab-Muslim conference hosted by Iran on the security of the situation in Iraq, Iranian President Ahmadinejad said that all the conditions for the removal of the Zionist regime in Israel are at hand and he used an Arabic word that describes an irreversible removal.

Ahmadinejad said that the Middle Eastern nations are more furious everyday and the wrath of the Islamic people will soon turn into a terrible explosion that will remove the Zionist entity, the nation of Israel, and completely remove it from the map. None of the foreign ministers of the Arab and Islamic nations present at the conference including: Jordan, Egypt, and Turkey, commonly regarded as Israel's friends in the Arab-Muslim world, none of these objected to the call for the annihilation of Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A call by Iranian President Ahmadinejad for the Arab-Muslim world to remove Israel from the map is a page out of Bible prophecy for the Middle East in the Last Days. In the past year the Iranian President Ahmadinejad has denied that there was every a Holocaust that killed six million Jews, has told the world that if there was to be a Jewish state it should be in Alaska, and that Israel must be wiped off the map.

Now, with the use of an Arabic word that all can understand, Ahmadinejad has cleared up any ambiguity and called on the Middle Eastern nations, both Arabs and Muslims, to remove Israel from the face of the earth. This declaration by Ahmadinejad is like reading a page out of Bible prophecy. For example, the prophetic book of Ezekiel which actually describes the coalition of nations that attended the meeting in Tehran.

Ezekiel 38 includes Iran, mentioned in verse five as Persia, the name for Iran, Afghanistan, and Pakistan until 1936. Ezekiel 38:2, 6 also includes: Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, and Togarmah which is modern day Turkey. The prophet Daniel adds Egypt and Syria, found in Daniel 11:40-43, and the book of Psalms chapter 83 includes Saudi Arabia.

Ahmadinejad's declaration that Israel will soon be removed from the map is indeed a page out of Bible prophecy, Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

A top Israeli general says that Ariel Sharon's disengagement of the Gaza Strip was a disaster

Lt.-General Moshe Yaalon, the former Israeli Defense Force (IDF) Chief of Staff, the number one Israeli soldier, says that the entire disengagement of the Gaza Strip implemented by the then Prime Minister (PM) Ariel Sharon was a total disaster.

Yaalon says that the process created an illusionary hope and is imploding before the eyes of the Israeli people. The Israeli general said that Israel is conveying weakness and he who conveys weakness in the Middle East is like a weak animal in nature, he comes under attack.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

As General Yaalon , the former IDF Chief of Staff said, the Sharon disengagement of the Gaza Strip was a disaster security wise and practically, but also it was a disaster prophetically. The Sharon disengagement of the Gaza Strip that displaced some 10,000 Jewish settlers and dismantled 25 Jewish settlements was indeed a disaster, as the former IDF Chief of Staff, General Moshe Yaalon is saying today.

This most recent conflict between the Palestinians and the Israelis in the Gaza Strip has seen the reoccupation of several of the former settlement communities where Hamas, the Islamic terror organization, has been using the area as the launch base for the Kassam rockets being fired into Israel proper. According to Bible prophecy, God said that in the Last Days He would return to the Jewish people the land that He had promised their patriarch, Abraham, that's in Deuteronomy 30, also in Ezekiel 34 and 37.

Ezekiel 35 reveals that a people, the Edomites, actually the Palestinian people of today, would take the land from the Jews and kill many of them in the process, that's found in Ezekiel 35:5, 10-13. These two themes will run parallel as we quickly approach the Return of Jesus Christ back to the earth.

God will give the land and the Palestinians, the descendants of Esau, will take the land. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The most recent asteroid hurdling through space came within a hair's breathe of crashing into the earth

US scientists say the most recent asteroid traveling through space came within a hair's breathe, an astronomical term at least, of crashing into the earth; however, these scientists were able to reassure the public that there was never any great risk.

These scientists said that the earth and this asteroid, termed asteroid 2004XP-14, had a distance which was slightly greater than the distance between the earth and the moon, a close shave in the vastness of outer space.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The recent fly by of the earth by a mountain-sized asteroid is a precursor to the events during the future days of judgment, that is according to Bible prophecy. Scientists have classified the mountain-sized asteroid that whizzed past the earth as a potential hazardous asteroid and at first they believed it would hit the earth some time later this century.

The so-called near miss of the earth gave astronomers an opportunity to catch a close glimpse of this rather large asteroid, a space rock that was first discovered back in 2004. The asteroid, known as 2004XP-14, was discovered by the Lincoln Near Earth Asteroid Research Project, an organization that surveys the skies for potentially dangerous asteroids. Though this asteroid missed the earth, there will be other space objects that will hit the earth during the seven year Tribulation Period, a yet future time of judgment.

John the Apostle, the author of the New Testament prophetic book the Revelation, wrote in chapter eight, verse eight of Revelation that a great mountain burning like a fire will hit the oceans of our world. In Revelation 8:10, another space object will fall upon the fresh waters of the earth as well. Revelation 16:21 speaks of additional space items falling upon the earth during the coming period of judgment.

This near miss of the earth by a mountain-sized asteroid is only evidence of things yet to come. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Israel will burn in the fire it started in the Gaza Strip - Iran

A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry in Teheran, says that Israel will burn in the flame of fire that it started when the Israeli Defense Force entered the Gaza Strip to rescue the kidnapped IDF soldier and after Israel detained a number of Hamas officials and parliamentarians.

The Iranian official said that the moves of the "Zionist regime" are against any international criteria, and they came about when Israel was enraged when they saw the Hamas-led Palestinian Authority take charge of the affairs of the Palestinian people. The spokesman said that Israel had taken insane measures against the Palestinians after seeing their continuing resistance against the Jewish state.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman's statement that Israel would burn in the flame of fire that it started in the Gaza Strip is similar to Bible prophecy, but not exactly correct.

The rhetoric out of Iran continues to go after the Jews and the state of Israel with this latest statement from their Foreign Ministry. The statement by the Iranian official has some aspects of Bible prophecy in its content, but the players will be reversed in the actions.

The ancient Jewish prophet Obadiah wrote that at the time of return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Jewish people will be a flame of fire and the Palestinians will be the kindling or stumble. Obadiah 18 says the Palestinians will burned up and completely consumed by the flame. That same verse says that none of them will be left. Jeremiah 49:18 says the Palestinians will be as Sodom and Gomorrah, as if they have never been.

These descendants of Esau, the Palestinians, will indeed be the victims of the fire - not the Jewish people, as the Iranian official has declared. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

America's Place In Bible Prophecy Revealed

Independence Day celebrations mark the birth of the United States of America, an experiment that has been very successful in many different ways. Many Christians say that the reason for America's prosperity is due to their support for world evangelism. The United States has been the launch pad for worldwide missions, spreading the gospel to a needy world.

The other reason given for America's success is that we have protected the Jewish state of Israel for the many years of it's existence, keeping the Jewish people from total elimination by it's enemies. These two reasons, at the least, have played a role in bringing the United States to where it is today; but where is the United States in Bible prophecy?

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The question of America's place in Bible prophecy does have an answer.

"Where is America in Bible prophecy?" That is the most asked question in any "Prophecy Question and Answer" time. I am always asked this question when I open up to inquiring people.

Once in a "Prophecy Question and Answer" time someone told me that they knew, so I asked "Where?"

They said, "Jerusalem."

I asked them to explain, and they spelled out the word Jerusalem.

"J - e - r - U - S - A - l - e - m", to which everybody laughed.

As I thought about the answer though, I believe that it is correct, the only place in Bible prophecy that I see the possibility of the mention of the United States or an illusion to the United States is in Zechariah 14:2.

Zechariah revealed that at the time of the end all of the armies of the world would gather at Jerusalem, under the leadership of Satan, Anti-Christ, and the False Prophet - there to confront Jesus Christ on His return to the Mount of Olives from where He departed some 2,000 years ago. If America survives the 7 year Tribulation Period, their army would join the other armies of the world at Jerusalem.

America today is great because the backbone of this nation is made up of true, Bible believing, born-again Christians. When the Christians leave this world at the rapture of the church, which could happen at any moment, the most powerful nation in the world will most likely fall from it's power base.

America's spiritual decline, in the present, will result in a power decline in the future. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Jerusalem Rabbi: Illegal construction on the Temple Mount is an attempt to obliterate all historic traces of the holy Temple

Rabbi Chaim Richman of the Temple Institute in Jerusalem says he has witnessed the continued illegal construction being conducted by the Islamic Trust, the custodians of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, and the deliberate destruction of archaeological remnants and the attempt to obliterate all historic traces of the ancient Jewish holy Temple.

Rabbi Richman who conducts guided tours of the Temple Mount says that these tours of the Temple Mount conducted in accordance with Jewish law have taken on crucial significance as a daily reminder to the Israeli government that freedom of worship is being denied the Jewish people.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Daily tours of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem conducted by a rabbi is evidence that this sacred piece of real estate has an important future, that is according to Bible prophecy.

It has been almost thirty years that the city of Jerusalem has been reunited and access to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem has been an opportunity for Jews wishing to visit the sacred piece of real estate known as the Temple Mount. Interestingly, several days after the Israelis reunited Jerusalem, the Israeli government gave custodial responsibilities for the Temple Mount to an Islamic trust who has implemented very strict rules for any Jewish worshippers who want to visit the Temple Mount.

Now, however, the Temple Institute in Jerusalem, the organization who has prepared the priest, the implements, and preconstruction plans for the next Temple to be built in Jerusalem, is in the process of educating all Jews of the spiritual significance of the Temple Mount. As Rabbi Chaim Richman conducts his daily tours on the Temple Mount, he points out where the Holy of Holies was located, where the Sanhedrin stood, and many other facts about Temple operation on the Temple Mount.

These daily guided tours are an ongoing effort to prepare for the next Temple to stand on the Temple Mount. The truth is, however, that there are two Temples in the future. The one that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will build, that's Zechariah 6:12-13. By the way, that Temple will be built by Jesus Christ for the Kingdom Period in the future. However, Daniel, the ancient Jewish prophet, says there will be a Temple on the Temple mount in Jerusalem during the judgment period known as the Tribulation, that's Daniel 9:27. That statement confirmed, by the way, by Jesus Christ, Matthew 24:15 and the Apostle Paul, II Thessalonians 2:4.

Daily guided tours on the Temple mount are evidence that Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.
