With one of the 28 member states missing, the European Union went ahead in the celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the European Union

JD: Well, then let me ask you is there going to make any difference in that movement, a prophetic significance to the political activities, as we often talk about the preparations or at least the foundation for the revived Roman Empire, if indeed the United Kingdom was able to withdraw in 2 years?

RC: If they withdraw I think the leaders of the EU will get even stronger. Remember they’re celebrating their 60^th Anniversary of the EU. It has been a steady progression from 6 nations to 28. If Britain withdraws from Europe, well they just have to work harder to move forward. If Britain stays Britain will not be the power it once was in the EU so the EU can continue to grow stronger. So, from the EU stand point I still see that this is well moving on the path, maybe not at the rate I dreamed of or thought was happening. It is moving toward what I see as a Biblical scenario.

JD: 60^th Anniversary of the meeting in Rome, Italy when 6 of the now members of the European Union member states got together and put out the treaty of Rome and that was the actual beginning of all that we see happening today, wasn’t it?

RC: Yes it was, it was the beginning of the coming together if you will, not just the 6 nations but with the idea of a global government that is the goal. 109 nations is the number that many people have put out as to the goal of it. They certainly will be celebrating this and looking forward to the years ahead. There are 500 million people strong now, this is a growing empire. It now represents not just Western Europe but Eastern Europe as well so, it’s a growing, growing empire.

With the signing of the Treaty of Rome on March 25, 1957 these European leaders put in motion the infrastructure for the political economic governmental operation that sets the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled. 

The European Union, as the infrastructure for the revived Roman Empire, as foretold in Daniel 7:23 & 24, that infrastructure is in reality a major reality factor in the end time scenario for the European Union and the world powers that come about after the rapture of the church and in the beginning of the tribulation period.
