JD: When the alarm would sound, that two-minute siren would sound across the entire nation on Holocaust Remembrance Day a whole nation of six million Jews would stop and stand at attention to honor the six million Jews that were killed in the Holocaust.
DD: Every spring when things are coming back to life, the leaves are coming on the trees that’s the time it affected every Jew in the world really but certainly in the Middle East and in Israel. Israel was so much created on the ashes of the Holocaust and a lot of people don’t like to think that the Holocaust actually helped the nations to recognize the Jewish need for a homeland but in fact it did. A third of the Jewish people on earth were wiped out. Over a million children perished close to two million actually. Many of those died from starvation a horrible slow way to die. Just an incredibly horrific thing there’s nothing that can be said other than it was horrifying and awful and evil.
And yes the nation
stops every year, one full day and people take it very seriously. It’s a day to
reflect. And then of course one week later exactly is the annual Memorial Day
for the fallen soldiers, and then Independence Day, and then of course Jimmy a
very big year here with the 50th Anniversary of the reunification of
Jerusalem coming up in June. It’s a very special year and quite a few events
being planned.

about a Jewish state.
We report this information because it is setting the stage
for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
The history of the Jewish people always seems to bring good
out of something that is bad. The Holocaust and the Jewish state of Israel would
be a perfect example. Every Jew in Israel has been touched by those who died in
the Holocaust. Reality for the Jewish people states that as the Jews stop to honor
those six million who were killed during World War II they must realize that the
Holocaust brought about a Jewish state in fulfillment of Bible prophecy. But at
the same time they must remember there is a worse Holocaust yet to come
according to the ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah where he states in Zechariah
13:8 that during the terrible time of Jacobs trouble in the tribulation period
two out of every three Jews will be killed. In the Holocaust one third of the
Jews six million were killed but during the next Holocaust coming in the future
two thirds of all Jews will die in that time.
We who are not Jews must remember this prophecy as well
because it will happen. But, it shows us with the rise of anti semitism in our
world today how close the fulfillment of that prophecy may well be.
