The Arab League warns Israel: Don't touch the Muslim Temple Mount

Listen to Today's Program Play

The Arab League made up of twenty-two Arab member states has issued a warning to Israel to stay away from al -Aqsa Mosque which is located on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. This location is a very sacred spot for the Jewish people and the location of the first and second Jewish Temples over a one thousand year period of time.

Surprisingly, the Arab League's statement termed, "the Mosque on the Temple Mount" - the holiest of the Arab and Islamic holy sites which is contrary to Islamic law that sets Mecca as Islam's holiest site. The Arab League statement said al-Aqsa Mosque is a red line that must not be crossed and any attack would endanger the safety and the stability of the entire Middle Eastern region.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Arab League's warning to Israel not to touch the Muslim Temple Mount is contradictory to history and Bible prophecy as well.

The Arab League, an organization of 22 Arab states, is very strong in the Middle East and when they issue a warning, it should get everybody's attention. The Muslim world does have custodial responsibility over the Temple Mount but not to the extent that it can be referred to as the Muslim Temple Mount. History contradicts these Muslim claims.

The Bible states that King David captured the Jebusite stronghold of Jerusalem in 1048 BC. This is the time when David made Jerusalem the political capital of the Jewish people, II Samuel 5. Several years later, King David made Jerusalem the spiritual capital of the Jewish people when he brought the Ark of the Covenant into the city. In 1012 BC, Solomon, David's son, built a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount referred to as Mt. Moriah in II Chronicles 3:1. Mt. Moriah is that sacred spot where Abraham offered his son Isaac as a sacrifice unto the Lord, Genesis 22 in 1872 BC. This history lesson proves that the Temple Mount belongs to the Jews and has belonged to them for almost 4000 years. In addition to that, Bible prophecy says the Temple Mount will be where the Lord will dwell among the Jewish people, His people forever, Psalm 132:13-14.

History has been recorded and Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

One of the world's largest oil companies may bring down the very unstable war torn national government of Iraq

Listen to Today's Program Play

Exxon Mobil, one of the world's largest oil companies, has challenged Iraq's Prime Minister Maliki as the political leader of war torn Iraq, works to stop the growing regional separatism of his nation as it relates to the central government's control over territory and the oil rights of the different regions of Iraq.  Iraqi Kurdistan, the oil rich region of Iraq, has signed an agreement with Exxon Mobil for billions of barrels of oil which could jeopardize Maliki's central government's authority and bring down the fragile power sharing coalition in Baghdad.

The stability of Iraq's coalition government made up of Sunni Moslems, Shiites, and the Kurds is at risk of breaking up over the control of Iraq's greatest natural resource, oil.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The battle over the oil rights of war torn Iraq is setting the stage for a scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy for the last days.

It has been known for a long time that the rebuilding of war torn Iraq would be paid for by the agreements for the oil rights to the massive oil fields in Iraq. Petroleum experts say that today's greatest source of oil can be found under the ground of this battlefield in the Middle East. Iraq's Prime Minister Maliki is doing a balancing act as he tries to stabilize his national coalition government but at the same time, reap the benefits for the sale of the oil rights across all of Iraq. Some say that Prime Minister Maliki is not up to the task of rebuilding his nation and making Iraq an economic powerhouse in this oil rich region of the world.

The prophetic scenario found in Bible prophecy foretells of an appearance of a strong man who will bring Iraq to the economic center of the world. John, the writer of the book of Revelation, reveals the appearance of the Antichrist, that strong man, who will in fact head up the economic power base in Babylon which is modern-day Iraq (Revelation 13 and 18). Jeremiah and Isaiah see the rise of Babylon, today's Iraq, as the precursor to the return of Jesus Christ (Isaiah 13,14 and Jeremiah 50, 51.). Revelation 16:17-21 predicts the total destruction of Iraq which is Biblical Babylon, this oil rich nation that will come to power in the last days. Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.

Jews in Jerusalem and around the world today are praying for another temple to be built in Jerusalem

Listen to Today's Program Play

Tish B'Av, the 9th day of the Jewish month Av, is the day on the calendar in 586 BC and 70AD that both the first and second temples were destroyed. The first temple being destroyed by the Babylonian army led by Nebuchadnezzar and the second temple devastated by General Titus and the Roman army.

Jews on this day gather near the area where these temples once stood at the Western Wall and during the 25 hour fast they read the book of Lamentations and pray for the temple to be rebuilt by next Tish B'Av, a prayer that has been prayed every day for over 1900 years.

This Tish B'Av hundreds and thousands of Jews marched to the Temple Mount led by Gershon Solomon, head of the Temple Mount Faithful, to not only read Lamentations and pray for the rebuilding of the next temple, but to also protest American pressure to even give up the Temple Mount to the Palestinians for a Palestinian state.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Even as America applies pressure on the Israeli government to give up the Temple Mount, there are Jews preparing to follow through on their prayers for a Jewish temple on the Temple Mount. They have everything ready to build the next temple and fulfill Bible prophecy.

On Tish B'Av hundreds and thousands of Jews gather at the Western Wall in Jerusalem and at the seven gates that lead up onto the Temple Mount to read the book of Lamentations and to pray for the temple to be rebuilt by next Tish B'Av.

US pressure on Israel to give up the Temple Mount is in the face of God's plan for this sacred piece of real estate. 2500 years ago the ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah wrote that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, would come back and build His temple, the kingdom temple, on the Temple Mount (Zechariah 6:12). I must remind you, however, that before Jesus builds His Temple, there will be a temple in the seven year Tribulation period (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1.) This next temple will be desecrated by the false messiah, the Antichrist. All preparations have been made for that temple, the tribulation temple, to be rebuilt and they could start construction today.

On Tish B'Av remember - Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Islamist Egyptian president was insulted by a video that promotes the building of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem

Listen to Today's Program Play

The Temple Institute, a Jewish organization who is preparing to build a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, produced a 90 second video promoting the project and it used the images of two children at the beach building a sand model of the Jewish Temple.

The video concluded the short presentation with the Temple made out of sand and the caption reading, "The children are ready", indicating even the Jewish children are looking for the next Temple.

This promotional piece supposedly irritated the Islamist Egyptian President Morsi who has said in the past that there will not be a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem but instead the Temple Mount will be the headquarters for an Islamic global kingdom.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Islamist Egyptian President Morsi does not want a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem as called for in a new promotional video, evidence that Bible prophecy is getting very close to being fulfilled.

The Temple Institute, the leaders of the Jewish community who want to build a Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, produced a promotional video that encourages the Jewish people to move ahead with this project. The video depicts two children on the beach building what seems to be a sand castle but instead, the finished product is a sand model of the Temple. The final scene of this 90 second video has the caption, "The children are ready". This video was seen by Egyptian officials who say that it irritated the Islamist Egyptian President Morsi who in the past has called for a global Islamic caliphate, a worldwide kingdom to be headquartered in Jerusalem, not a Jewish Temple.

However, Bible prophecy is absolute that there will be a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount. Zechariah 1:16 says that the Messiah will return to Jerusalem and build a Temple. Ezekiel 40-46, 202 verses, describe the Kingdom Temple where the Messiah will rule and reign forever, Zechariah 6:13. Even before the Kingdom Temple, the ancient Jewish prophets foretold of a Temple in Jerusalem, Daniel 9:27, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1.

Arab world leaders may not like it, but there will be a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.

Palestinian TV presents a baby eating Zionist lizard as the enemy of the Palestinian people

Listen to Today's Program Play

The official television outlet for the PA in Ramallah, Israel has broadcasted a painting which shows a lizard man impaling Palestinian children on his bayonet and eating them one by one as he is depicted as a Jewish lizard wearing a kippah with the star of David.

The painting also reveals dead children piled up to be eaten and two baby lizard men also shown eating Palestinian children, a scene that the Palestinian artist claims is dealing with the Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people.

The PA, supposed peace partners with Israel, says that the painting is about the Gaza massacre and the Zionist enemies' cruelty and savagery.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Palestinian television depicting a baby eating, Zionist lizard impaling Palestinian children on a bayonet is not only inciting hatred against the Jews, but also setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

On a recent Palestinian television program, the host of the program interviewed a Palestinian artist whose painting depicts a lizard man impaling Palestinian children on a bayonet and then eating these children one by one. The artist explained that his work was to make known to the wold the cruelty and savagery of the Jewish state of Israel against the Palestinians in what he referred to as the Gaza massacre.

Palestinian Media Watch who monitors the Palestinian media, said this was an effort to demonize the Jews through the arts and the Palestinian media. Several of the ancient Jewish prophets spoke of the end of times conflict between the Jews and the Palestinians. Malachi, in reference to the Edomites, the Palestinian people of today, these descendants of Esau would come to power in the last days and rebuild their base even with borders, borders that the Lord said are borders of wickedness, Malachi 1:4. Obadiah foretold of the arrogance of the Palestinians as they would be intoxicated with power over the Jewish people today, Obadiah 15-18. This passage in Obadiah also reveals the demise of the Palestinian people at the return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.

This despicable painting of a baby-eating, Zionist lizard is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

More than 1 billion people on earth are fasting during the month of Ramadan

Listen to Today's Program Play

Moslems around the world will fast for the thirty days of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan to celebrate the giving of the Koran, the Moslem holy book, by the angel Gabriel to the prophet Mohammad, the prophet of the Islamic god Allah. The Moslems will fast from sun up to sundown and then join together in a festive time of celebration during the nighttime hours honoring the Koran which along with the Hadith, are the two sacred books of Islam.

Arab governments in the Middle East are prepared for increased tensions during Ramadan fearing that it may reignite the smouldering flames of uprisings that have swept the region recently.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Moslem holy month of Ramadan marks the giving of the Islamic holy book to Moslems, a book which calls for the fulfillment of prophecy found in the Bible, the Jewish holy book, according to Bible prophecy.

According to Moslems, the angel Gabriel dictated the Koran, the Moslem holy book, to the prophet Mohammad, over 1400 years ago. The Koran along with the Hadith, the sayings of Mohammad, are the two sacred books for the Moslems. The Koran calls for Moslems around the world to fast during the daylight hours and feast during the nighttime to celebrate Mohammad receiving the Koran and passing it along to all Moslems.

The Koran calls for Islamic jihad which means "holy war", a religious war focused on the Jewish people and their conversion or annihilation. In fact, all non-believing people must convert to Islam or die, according to the radicals of the Islamic faith.

The ancient Jewish prophets wrote over 2500 years ago of just such a prophetic scenario. Both Daniel and Ezekiel foretold of a group of nations that would in the last days attack Israel to eliminate the Jewish state (Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38). The lowest common denominator of the list of Middle Eastern nations that form this alignment against Israel is that they are all Moslems.

As Moslems celebrate Ramadan celebrating the giving of the Koran, tensions will indeed rise and ultimately play out the end times scenario that can be found in the Bible. Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.

As world leaders work for peace in the Middle East the current peace agreements are unraveling

Listen to Today's Program Play

World leaders in America, Europe, Russia, and the Middle East are working to bring about a peace in the Middle East even as three peace agreements between Israel and their neighbors are actually unraveling and may not be in effect for very long.

The Camp David Accords, a peace agreement between Israel and Egypt, is almost a thing of the past with the present situation in Egypt as is the case with the peace treaty between Israel and Jordan with most Jordanians wanting to dissolve that treaty.

The Oslo Accords, a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, has never been normalized and is not a working agreement because the radical Islamists among the Palestinians have no regard for the treaty and in fact are calling for an armed struggle to eliminate the Jewish state.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

With three different peace agreements between Israel and her neighbors in place the Middle East peace process is in bad shape but it will be rescued according to Bible prophecy.

In 1979, Israel and Egypt signed the Camp David Accords, the first peace treaty that Israel ever signed with an enemy state. The Palestinians and the Israelis also came to an agreement on peace in 1993 with the Oslo Accords. In October of 1994, the late King Hussein of Jordan and the late Yitzhak Rabin prime minister of Israel, both signed a peace treaty between the two nations. What is common with all of these peace agreements is that they never have been normalized. Even the peace envoy for the Quartet, which is the US, EU, UN, and Russia, Tony Blair has not been successful in bringing about peace. However, I must remind you that Bible prophecy does call for a world leader to come on the scene who will be successful in putting a peace treaty in place that he will make work.

Daniel 9:27 says that the Antichrist will confirm a treaty between Israel and her neighbors. I did not say he will sign a treaty, but instead confirm, strengthen, make stronger, make the treaty work. In order for this to happen, there must be a peace treaty or three peace treaties on the table not working. The Antichrist will confirm them.

There are three peace treaties on the table not working, waiting for the Antichrist, a world leader, to appear.

A Muslim preacher on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem says this sacred piece of real estate belongs to the Muslims and it will belong to them forever

Listen to Today's Program Play

Sheikh Yousef Salami, a Muslim preacher at Al Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, said that this sacred spot is an Islamic holy site as determined by the Creator of the world and as indicated in the Koran and shall belong to Muslims forever.

The sheikh's statement was in response to a ruling by Israel's attorney general that the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is part of Israeli territory and Israeli law applies to this holy site.

The Temple Mount was left in the hands of an Islamic Trust by the Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Dayan at the time of the reunification of Jerusalem during the Six Day War in 1967 and the Muslims have since then tried to remove every evidence of any Jewish presence at this Jewish holy site.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A statement by a Muslim preacher that the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is an Islamic holy site and will belong to the Muslims forever is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Shiekh Yosef Salami stated recently that the Temple Mount in Jerusalem belongs to the Muslims and will belong to them forever based on the Koran. The shiekh said that the holy site was an Islamic site so determined by the Creator of the world. Since the reunification of Jerusalem during the Six Day War in 1967, the Islamic Trust has had custodial control of the Temple Mount but Israel claims sovereignty over this holy site. The Jews say that the Temple Mount is the most sacred site in all of Judaism which is backed up by God's Word, the Bible.

God promised Jewish King David this holy site for a temple that one day will stand on the Temple Mount forever, II Samuel 7. Jesus said He would come back to Jerusalem and build that temple one day, Zechariah 1:16. The Temple Mount is the holy mountain of God according to Daniel 9:16, 20; a place where the Lord said He would dwell among His people, the Jewish people, forever, Psalm 132:13-14.

This pronouncement by a Muslim preacher that the Temple Mount will belong to the Muslims forever is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

A supercomputer has predicted and will in the future be able to predict upcoming world conflicts and revolutions

Listen to Today's Program Play

According to the research at the University of Illinois feeding a supercomputer with millions of news stories, scientists believe they can predict major world events including regional conflicts and even revolutions like the recent revolutions in Libya and Egypt.

Scientists say they liken this forecasting of conflicts to weather forecasting and the system appears to generate better intelligence than the US government is working with today.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A supercomputer that can predict world conflict before the fact may or may not be totally accurate, but there is a way to know the future, that is by reading the end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

As scientists feed hundreds of millions of news articles into a supercomputer, they are working on developing a way to foretell the future in the area of world conflict and revolutions. This new research seems to have predicted the uprising in the Arab world, the so-called Arab spring with pretty good accuracy; however, pretty good is not perfect as is the written Word of God and its presentation of the end time scenario for the events of the future.

Daniel, the ancient Jewish prophet, in Daniel 11 predicted the rise of Ahazerias, the king of the book of Esther, 57 years before he appeared, Daniel 11:2. He also revealed information about Alexander the Great 200 years before he came to power and 360 years before the fact, Daniel prewrote history about Antiochus Epiphanes who would desecrate the Temple which did happen December 25, 168 BC. Daniel's prophecy, which is prewritten history about the Antichrist found in Daniel 7:8, 9:27, and 11:36-45 will also be fulfilled based on past prophecies being fulfilled. Daniel also wrote of world conflict 2500 years ago which would include Syria, Egypt, and Libya the major Arab nations now on the radar screen, Daniel 11:40-44.

We must not put our trust in a supercomputer that actually can fail, but instead put our trust in Bible prophecy, Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

The Middle East nation of Syria is engulfed in a civil war that has brought death to thousands of Syrians

Listen to Today's Program Play

Many analysts are calling the civil war in Syria the result of the Arab Spring that has spread across the Middle East and threatens to bring down Syrian President Bashar Assad with the opposition forces involved in fierce fighting in Damascus, the capital city of Syria.

The recent attacks on the Syrian leadership at the security headquarters in Damascus by a suicide bomber is evidence that the civil war is becoming more deadly day by day.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The recent suicide bomb attacks at the security headquarters in Damascus, Syria and the civil war raging throughout Syria is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

As a result of the Arab Spring spreading across the Middle East, the people of Syria have become a major threat to the Syrian government led by Bashar Assad who actually followed his father's 40 year tenure as president of Syria. The opposition has suffered over 19,000 deaths in their struggle to bring down President Assad but have and are continuing to gain ground. What is now termed a "civil war" has world leaders calling for Assad to step aside which he has refused to do.

These same world leaders are mostly standing by and watching this horrific conflict seemingly unable to decide what action to take. Meanwhile, the Assad regime continues to fight on which is actually setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The ancient Jewish prophet, Daniel prewrote history 2500 years ago when he laid out the scenario for the end of times. In Daniel 11:40 it states that the King of the North will be the leader to take a coalition of nations into Israel to destroy the Jewish state. The King of the North, defined in Daniel 11 verses 5 and following, is the nation of Syria today. Actually, Syria will make the first move against Israel followed by an alignment of nations which are mentioned in Daniel 11:40-43, Ezekiel 38, and Psalm 83. The end result of this attack on the Jewish state will be death for the attacking nations, Ezekiel 39:1-6.

The civil war developing in Syria is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

A Jewish rabbi in Jerusalem is calling for Jews to stop praying at the Western Wall

Listen to Today's Program Play

Rabbi Yehuda Glick, of an organization called "The Movement for the Establishment of the Temple", says that the Jewish people have become psychologically connected, over the centuries, to the Western Wall of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem because the rebuilding of the temple seems like an impossible task. Rabbi Glick says that about 25 years ago Jews started to ascend to the Temple Mount even though it was a very small group but now hundreds are now on a regular basis going up on to the Temple Mount to offer their prayers.

The rabbi is now calling for Jews to unite and make every effort to go on to this sacred location for every Jew, the Temple Mount, and become focused on the rebuilding of the next temple in Jerusalem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The call by a rabbi in Jerusalem to ascend to the Temple Mount in preparation for the next Jewish temple on this sacred site, is the next step to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

Rabbi Yehuda Glick for a number of years directed the efforts of the Temple Institute to prepare for the building of the next Jewish temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Temple Institute has all the implements needed to operate the temple including the knowledge of the location of the Ark of the Covenant. All 28,000 priests, to be used in the next temple, have been trained and even their priestly garments are either made or being made right now.

However, Rabbi Glick now believes it is time to prepare the Jewish people to become accustomed to ascending the Temple Mount, not only for learning and prayer, but to be involved in the Temple practices as well. That's why he says no more prayers at the Western Wall but instead, let's go up on to the Temple Mount.

God's prophetic Word does say that in the last days the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will return to build the temple on the Temple Mount (Zechariah 1:16, 6:12). That temple built by the Messiah will be His kingdom temple where He reigns for 1000 years. However, before the Messiah's temple is built on the Temple Mount there will be a Tribulation temple (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1).

Jews ascending onto the Temple Mount today are actually setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Palestinian officials deny the Koran in order to declare there was never a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem

Listen to Today's Program Play

For years, the PA leaders have denied Jewish history both in ancient Judea and Samaria and in Jerusalem in particular with historical revisionism centering on the denial that a Jewish Temple ever existed in Jerusalem as they consistently refer to the Temple as the alleged temple.

This Palestinian claim that the temple never existed contradicts the Koran where it mentions in Sura 17:2-7 the destruction of both the first and second Jewish temples in Jerusalem. The Palestinians accuse Israel of forging a false Jewish history in order to Judaize the Temple Mount so they can destroy al Aqsa Mosque and build a Jewish temple on this holy site.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Palestinian claim that there never was a Jewish temple in Jerusalem is a contradiction of history and archaeological record and it does set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

For years, the propaganda of the Palestinian leadership in Israel has been focused on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and the declaration that there has never been a Jewish temple on this holy site sacred to the Jewish people. Palestinian claims of the Jews forging Jewish history for the Temple Mount are in the face of impeccable Jewish and Christian sources, plus these claims go against the archaeological record documented for this area.

In fact, these claims by the Palestinians of no temple in Jerusalem contradict the statements of Jesus Christ who not only taught on the Temple Mount at the temple, but predicted in Matthew 24:2 that the temple would be destroyed as it was in 70AD by the Roman army. These Palestinian statements about the Temple Mount not being Jewish denies their own holy book, the Koran, but also confirms the prophetic scenario for the last days that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Zechariah, the ancient Jewish prophet, revealed the future when he wrote that Jerusalem will be the center of controversy in the end times, Zechariah 12:2. He also wrote of another Jewish temple that will be built there on the temple Mount in Jerusalem by the Messiah, Jesus Christ, Zechariah 6:12.

Palestinian claims aside, Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.

The Iraqi people who were under the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein believe their present prime minister is becoming another dictator

Listen to Today's Program Play

Key political factions in war torn Iraq have accused their present prime minister Nouri Maliki of becoming a dictator and setting in place a governmental system similar to that of the late Saddam Hussein who ruled the Iraqi people with an iron fist in a decade long dictatorship.

Anti US Shiite cleric Muqtada Sadr who leads one of Iraq's political parties has accused Prime Minister Maliki of trying to either delay or actually cancel the next Iraqi election and lead the country under a dictatorship similar to the style of the late Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A return to an Iraqi dictatorship like the one under Saddam Hussein is a precursor for the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

For over a decade, Saddam Hussein led the Iraqi people as a strongman dictator and he gave the orders for thousands of his own people to be killed because they refused his leadership. Muqtada Sadr, a radical Islamic cleric who has a large militia under his leadership as well as a political party that Sadr heads, wants to bring down the Maliki government thus the reason for accusing Maliki of being a dictator.

This scenario fits the prophetic passages in God's Word that reveal a period of time in the future when Iraq will once again be under a dictatorship according to Revelation 18 and 13:16-17. These passages indicate that dictator will be the Antichrist, the Satanically energized personality of the Tribulation Period. Modern day Iraq, a war torn nation today, will indeed rebuild and be known as Babylon, that's its biblical name, and it will become the economic, political, governmental capital of the world that rules under the dictatorship of the Antichrist. The ancient Jewish prophets reveal that after Babylon comes back to power it will be destroyed, Isaiah 13-14, Jeremiah 50-51 and Revelation 16.

A move towards a dictatorship in Iraq today is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The Palestinians are calling for unity in order to be able to destroy the state of Israel

Listen to Today's Program Play

A minister of the Palestinian Authority, the ruling body for the Palestinian people, says that the two factions of the Palestinian people, Fatah and Hamas, must unite in order to achieve the destruction of the state of Israel.  This report from an official Palestinian Authority newspaper revealed a number of Palestinian Authority ministers who agreed with the call for Palestinian unity in their struggle against Israel.

Both Fatah and Hamas, the two factions of the Palestinian body politic, have been involved in the armed struggle to remove the Jewish state from the land that Palestinians claim as their state and now the radical rhetoric is calling for Palestinian unity in order to destroy the Jewish state of Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A call by the official of the Palestinian Authority for the Palestinian people to unite in order to destroy the Jewish state of Israel is a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days.

In a large Palestinian rally attended by female Palestinian prisoners recently released from Israeli jails, an official of the Palestinian Authority called for the reunification of the Palestinian people.  The Palestinian Authority minister said that the Palestinians must unite in order to achieve their goal of the destruction of the Jewish state of Israel and the establishment of a Palestinian state on all the land that today belongs to the Jewish people.

This Palestinian plan fits exactly with the prophetic passages found in the Bible that reveals what will happen in the last days between Israel and the Palestinians.  Malachi wrote that the Edomites, the Palestinian people of today, would return to Israel and set up borders - borders which the Lord said will be borders of wickedness (Malachi 1).  Ezekiel foretold of a time when the Palestinians would kill the Jewish people and then take their land (Ezekiel 35).  The little prophetic book of Obadiah says that the Palestinians will become intoxicated with power as they take the steps to rid the land now known as Israel of the Jewish people, but these Palestinians themselves will be destroyed (Obadiah 15-18).

Calls for the Palestinians to unite in order to be able to destroy Israel will only set the stage for the opposite to happen.  Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

An Israeli rabbi has called for the restoration of animal sacrifices on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem

Listen to Today's Program Play

Rabbi Yisrael Ariel, the leader of the Temple Institute in Jerusalem, has called for the restoration of animal sacrifices on the Temple Mount even though the temple has not been rebuilt yet and the rabbi said the fact is that the Temple Mount is in Arab hands must end so that the Jews may go onto the Temple Mount and offer these animal sacrifices.

In Biblical times, when the temple was on the Temple Mount and especially during the high holy days, Jews from around the world would come to Jerusalem to offer animal sacrifices and today everything is ready to resume these sacrifices.  The priests are trained and ready, their garments are made, and the implements for the sacrificial system are ready to be used to follow God's command.  The Israeli government and the Moslem world are the only hindrances to restoring these animal sacrifices.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

An Israeli rabbi calling for the restoration of animal sacrifices on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is a precursor for the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

When the Jewish temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70AD there ceased to be a place for animal sacrifices for the Jewish people so that they could follow the Biblical mandate to offer sacrifices.  Today all preparations have been made to both build the temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and then to restore the sacrificial system.  In fact, the Bible does mandate a return to animal sacrifices when the Messiah, Jesus Christ, returns to the earth, Zechariah 14:4, to build His temple in Jerusalem, Zechariah 1:16, 6:12.  Ezekiel 45 foretells of the sacrificial system being restored in the Kingdom period.  These kingdom sacrifices will be done in remembrance of the ultimate sacrifice by Jesus Christ and in addition, the Jews will offer sacrifices at that time for the purpose of restoring fellowship with the Messiah.  However, prior to the kingdom temple, there will be another temple in Jerusalem during the seven year Tribulation with a return to sacrifices, Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1-2.

A rabbi calling for the return of the sacrificial system today is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Thousands of Arabs rushed the borders of Israel in order to stop the Judaization of Jerusalem

Listen to Today's Program Play

This year on the annual Land Day, a time when the Arab world marks what happened in 1976 as the Israeli government expanded the Jewish settlement area and set up the Jewish settlements as the first line of defense for the Israeli people and the Arab world remembers that as a terrible time.  Since that time the Palestinians hold Nakba Day, Nakba meaning catastrophe, and today its called Land Day - they do this for the purpose of keeping in the minds of the Palestinian people a time that they believe was a catastrophe for their desires to have a Palestinian state.

This year Arabs from the Arab world called for Land Day to be a time when thousands of Arabs would rush the borders of Israel but also they would call and demand that the Israelis stop Judaizing Jerusalem or the Arab world would breach Israeli borders and march to Jerusalem to stop the Israeli people from taking over the city of Jerusalem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The call for thousands of Arabs to rush Israel's borders on Land Day and their demand that Israel stop Judaizing Jerusalem is a precursor to the end of times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Palestinians in Israel have marked Land Day since 1976, an annual event, that reminds all Palestinians of the catastrophe that took place back then as they remember the Israeli government setting in motion a plan for the security of the Israeli people.  In 1976 the Israeli government set the Jewish settlers in the settlements located in Judea and Samaria as the nation's first line of defense.  This plan put in place by Ariel Sharon has been effective down through the years.  Now, annually, the Palestinians mark this day as a day of catastrophe and this year they have added the demand that Israel stop Judaizing Jerusalem.

As the ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah wrote 2500 years ago, Jerusalem has become the center of controversy and this will only intensify in the future (Zechariah 12:2-3).  God has a plan for Jerusalem and the Jewish people.  The Messiah Jesus Christ will build a temple in Jerusalem (Zechariah 1:16, 6:12).  Then He will rule and reign from that temple in Jerusalem forever (Zechariah 6:13).

Arab protests or not Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The growing antisemitic trends around the world and especially in Europe have Jews in fear for their lives

Listen to Today's Program Play

An ever increasing number of attacks on Jews around the world, including the attack on a Jewish school in southern France, has put fear in the hearts of Jewish people living in what would be considered a civilized world, a fear for their lives and the lives of their families as antisemitism continues to grow globally.  A recent survey of people in ten European nations reveals that 30% of Europeans have antisemitic beliefs and still believe that Jews are responsible for the death of Jesus Christ, the main motivation for antisemitism.  An additional factor in the increase of European antisemitism is the ever growing population of Moslems around the world but especially all across the European continent, a factor that results from the Islamic beliefs that Jews should be removed from the earth.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Growing antisemitism around the world and especially in Europe is evidence that the scenario found in Bible prophecy is moving ever so close to the fulfillment of these prophecies for the end times.

A number of violent attacks on Jews around the world and the attack by a radical Moslem on a Jewish school in France is tangible evidence that the rise in antisemitism in our world is becoming a major threat to the Jewish people today.  A recent survey among ten European nations indicated that the belief that Jews were responsible for the death of Jesus Christ is a major factor in this rise in antisemitism.  It is also true that the ever increasing Moslem population in Europe is a factor in antisemitism among the European peoples.

Couple this survey information with the Arab and Moslem world's use of radical rhetoric towards Israel and the Jewish people and the stage is being set for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.  Several ancient Jewish prophets revealed a time when the world would hate the Jews and want to rid the world of these people.  Zechariah wrote 2500 years ago that at that time 2 out of every 3 Jews would be hated and then killed.  Evil angels, led by the devil himself, will try and kill every Jew on the earth (Revelation 12:7-17).  Jeremiah called this terrible time in the future the "time of Jacob's trouble" (Jeremiah 30:7).  Daniel wrote in 12:1, that the Lord would dispatch Michael the archangel to protect the Jews from complete annihilation.

Antisemitism today will lead to Bible prophecy being fulfilled in a future tomorrow.

The highest ranking Moslem cleric in Saudi Arabia is calling for all churches to be destroyed

Listen to Today's Program Play

The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Sheik Abdul Abdullah, says that it is necessary to destroy all churches in the Middle East, and he based his declaration on the Islamic holy book, the Hadith, which quotes Mohammad as saying on his death bed, that only Islam can be practiced in the Middle East.  The Mufti asserted that all law in the Middle East must conform to Sharia, the law of the Koran as revealed by Allah, the Islamic god.

This declaration by the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia comes on the heels of a Wall Street Journal article written by the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations which stated that Arab discrimination against Christian minorities is a prevalent phenomenon throughout the Arab world.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A declaration by the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia that Christian churches in the Middle East must be destroyed is a page out of Bible prophecy.

Over the last several years there have been many reports of Christian churches being destroyed and church attenders being killed by radical Islamists.  This phenomenon has been on the increase in recent days and the declaration from the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia that all Christian churches in the Middle East must be destroyed, will only add to the urgency of this destruction by Moslem radicals.

Across the Arab world, more and more Christians and their churches and leaders, are the focus of a fast growing element in our world today who say only the Islamic religion is the one that all of human kind must be a part of in this time in history.  This scenario unfolding today was actually written about in a yesterday over 2000 years ago.  John, the human writer of the book of Revelation, wrote of the slaughter of believers in Jesus Christ in a number of locations in the book of Revelation.  Revelation 6:9-11 foretells of a time when those who stand for the Word of God, the Bible, and who have a testimony that Jesus Christ is their Savior, these believers will be killed.  Revelation 20:4 says that they will be beheaded for their faith.  These Biblical prophecies are referring to the time of Tribulation, that seven year period of judgment on the earth following the Rapture and before the Second Coming of Christ.

The Grand Mufti's call for all Christian churches in the Middle East to be destroyed is indeed a lead up to Bible prophecy being fulfilled.

Iranian leaders say they will destroy US military bases and the state of Israel within minutes of an attack on their Islamic republic

Listen to Today's Program Play

The commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's Aerospace Division says that his country will destroy US military bases across the Middle East and target Israel within minutes of being attacked by any foreign military forces.

Revolutionary Guard commanders have also threatened to block the Strait of Hormuz through which more than a third of the world's sea-born oil trade passes out of the Gulf which could cause a major global problem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Iranian revolutionary guard commander who threatened all US-Middle East military bases and the Jewish state of Israel with a ballistic missile attack is actually setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

During a recent military war games drill in Iran, the Islamic republic test fired ballistic missiles at mock targets representing the US military bases in the Middle East and they threatened America saying within minutes of an attack on Iran these US bases would come under heavy attack. Iran also said that their ballistic missiles had a range of 1300 miles and could target any site in Israel.

This Iranian threat is, as I said, helping to set the stage for an end of times scenario that was foretold in Bible prophecy. The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel wrote in chapter 38 of his prophecy that Iran, mentioned as Persia in verse 5, would be one of the major players as an alignment of nations attack the Jewish state in the last days. Iran will be joined by a coalition of Arab and Islamic states that are listed in Daniel 11:40-45 and Psalm 83. These prophecies will be fulfilled soon after there is a peace, howbeit a pseudo peace, in the Middle East that allows the Jewish people in Israel to seem to be dwelling safely in their land, Ezekiel 38:8-11. One other very interesting thought is that the first three nations to move against Israel in this time will be Syria, Egypt, and Libya, Daniel 11:40-43.

The situation in the Middle East today and this threat from Iran does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

As we celebrate the birthday of the United States, the question of America's place in Bible prophecy can be answered

Listen to Today's Program Play

Independence Day celebrations mark the birth of the United States of America, an experiment that has been very successful in many different ways. Many Christians say that the reason for America's prosperity is due to their support for world evangelism. The United States has been the launch pad for worldwide missions, spreading the gospel to a needy world.

The other reason given for America's success is that we have protected the Jewish state of Israel for the many years of its existence, keeping the Jewish people from total elimination by its enemies. These two reasons, at the least, have played a role in bringing the United States to where it is today; but where is the United States in Bible prophecy?

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The question of America's place in Bible prophecy does have an answer.
"Where is America in Bible prophecy?" That is the most asked question in any "Prophecy Question and Answer" time. I am always asked this question when I open up to inquiring people.
Once in a "Prophecy Question and Answer" time someone told me that they knew, so I asked "Where?"

They said, "Jerusalem."
I asked them to explain, and they spelled out the word Jerusalem.
"J - e - r - U - S - A - l - e - m", to which everybody laughed.

As I thought about the answer though, I believe that it is correct, the only place in Bible prophecy that I see the possibility of the mention of the United States or an illusion to the United States is in Zechariah 14:2.

Zechariah revealed that at the time of the end all of the armies of the world would gather at Jerusalem, under the leadership of Satan, Anti-Christ, and the False Prophet - there to confront Jesus Christ on His return to the Mount of Olives from where He departed some 2,000 years ago. If America survives the 7 year Tribulation Period, their army would join the other armies of the world at Jerusalem.

America today is great because the backbone of this nation is made up of true, Bible believing, born-again Christians. When the Christians leave this world at the Rapture of the Church, which could happen at any moment, the most powerful nation in the world will most likely fall from it's power base.

America's spiritual decline, in the present, will result in a power decline in the future. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

One of the founding fathers of the modern day state of Israel - an Israeli freedom fighter - has died

Listen to Today's Program Play

Yitzhak Shamir, the 7th PM of Israel, serving two terms in the 1980's died at 96 years of age having served his nation of Israel in many different ways and times, a small man in stature, but a man with a big heart for his beloved Jewish state and the people of the modern day state of Israel.

PM Shamir was a Jewish leader that believed God had given the Jewish people the land of Israel and he believed that the land of Israel included the very controversial Jewish settlements in an area called Judea and Samaria.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The late Israeli PM Yitzhak Shamir played a key role in the formation of the present day state of Israel which was a fulfillment of Bible prophecy but also is setting the stage for additional prophecy to be fulfilled in the future.

With the death of Israel's seventh PM, Yitzhak Shamir, the era of Israel's founding fathers is about to draw to an end. A Polish Jew who immigrated to Israel in 1935, he became a freedom fighter for the pre-state struggle to get out from under the occupation of Great Britain. Shamir served in the Mossad, Israel's intelligence agency, before entering the political arena and finally becoming the PM of his beloved Jewish state. Yitzhak Shamir loved the land of Israel and he believed all of the land had been given to the Jewish people by God, even the very controversial Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria.

In Shamir's service to Israel, he helped the world to see how God could gather the Jewish people from all over the world, bring them into their land, the land of their forefathers, and make a modern day state of these regathered Jews.

The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel foretold that this would indeed happen when he prewrote history in Ezekiel 37, the prophecy of the dry bones. In verse 7, the bones come together, that is the regathering of the Jewish people to Israel. Ezekiel 37:8 says the flesh covered these bones and that is the restoration of a Jewish state. Ezekiel 34 reveals that the Lord said 18 times that He would regather and restore the Jewish people. Ezekiel 36:22 tells us that God did all of this for His holy namesake.

The memory of Yitzhak Shamir does indeed remind us that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Al Qaeda is calling for a civil war in Iraq - that would be Moslem fighting Moslem

Listen to Today's Program Play

With the United States troop pullout from Iraq in December 2011, this war torn nation has been ripe for a civil war with the Sunni Moslems against the Shiite Moslems, a return to the days of Saddam Hussein and the time right after Saddam's fall which was a terrible time of sectarian violence in Iraq.  Iraq is made up of three elements of the body politic with the Kurds in the north, Sunnis in the middle part of the state, and the Shiites in the south with the largest of these three being the Shiites with over 60% of the population.

Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki's coalition government is made up of a partnership between these three parties with al Qaeda leading the Sunni element which wants to control the entire nation of Iraq and make it a center of terrorism in the heart of this Middle Eastern region.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A civil war in Iraq will be a precursor in the end of times scenario for Iraq that is found in Bible prophecy.

Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki, who is a Shiite Moslem, has formed a coalition government working to rebuild his war torn nation, a project that has not advanced very quickly.  This coalition government is made up of the three members of the body politic of Iraq, the Kurds, the Sunnis, and the Shiites.  This Maliki government is a very fragile government that is being threatened by the terrorist element in Iraq led by al Qaeda.  Al Qaeda's strategy is to divide and conquer thus the very viable possibility for a civil war in Iraq.  During the reign of Saddam Hussein, this infighting was held to a minimum because Saddam was a very strong leader.
