With the tough rhetoric coming from the Obama White House towards Israel, PA President Mahmoud Abbas and other Palestinian officials believe they have a friend in the White House who can force Israel to withdraw to the 1967 borders including the city of Jerusalem and dismantle all the Jewish settlements, a plan Israelis believe would put the Jewish state in harms way.

The Palestinians are following with deep satisfaction, news about the deepening crisis between the government of Netanyahu and the Obama Administration, even believing Obama may push Netanyahu out of office.

The Obama administration's pressure on the Israeli government to stop construction in the Jewish settlements and to dismantle them to the satisfaction of the Palestinians is a precursor to the End Times scenario that is found in Bible prophecy.

The statement that the Palestinian people finally have a friend in the White House has made the Palestinians very optimistic about the plans for a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. The Obama administration is continuing to apply pressure on the Israeli government to stop all construction on the Jewish settlements and to prepare for dismantling the settlements to be replaced by a Palestinian state. This Palestinian state would take all the land Israel acquired in the Six Day War and make it their Palestinian state.

Should President Obama and the Palestinians be successful, a Palestinian state would be in the heart of the Jewish state, a state with borders the Lord told the prophet Malachi would be borders of wickedness, Malachi 1. Even as the Palestinians would build their state, the words of the prophet Ezekiel would come to pass that God would punish the Palestinians for taking land God had given to the Jewish people, Ezekiel 35. Another Jewish prophet, Obadiah, tells us that God will not allow the Palestinians to win in this conflict, but instead the Palestinians, the Edomites of biblical times, will be a people that have never been.

President Obama's actions are indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Jewish rabbis gathered in the Jewish settlements to reject President Obama's plan for Israel

Religious leaders in Israel gathered in Judea and Samaria, often referred to as the West Bank, to reject the demand by the Obama Administration to stop all building in Jewish settlements and, in fact, the demand to evacuate these Jewish communities and they urged Israeli Defense Force soldiers to refuse to follow evacuation orders given by the Israeli government. The rabbis called on the Israeli government to call off any removal of Jewish families and their homes from the area of Judea and Samaria because it is a violation of the Torah, the first five books of the Bible and that each soldier must accept the words of God rather than the anti-Semitic order to uproot Jews from the land of Israel.

The demand by the Obama Administration to stop building in Judea and Samaria and to evacuate this God-given land, will lead to a second Jewish state in Israel according to Bible prophecy.

The Obama Administration seems to believe that the Jewish settlements are an impediment to a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. President Obama and his foreign affairs team have made it clear that their must be no building in the Jewish settlements and that they want these settlements evacuated.

The end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy reveals that the Jews would return to the land of their forefathers in fulfillment of the promise that God made to the Jewish people referring to this land (Ezekiel 36:8-12 and 37:7-10). However, these same passages of prophecy speak of a second Jewish state in this land in the last days (Ezekiel 37:15-23). One of these Jewish states will be called Israel - the other will be called Judah. The state called Israel is in place right now and the continuing efforts to force Jews off of this God-given land in Judea and Samaria, will eventually force the Jews to form a second Jewish state which, in fact, is now under discussion and in the planning stages.

Rest assured, Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

An Islamic leader claims that Israeli PM Netanyahu is preparing to rebuild the Jewish Temple

At a conference held in Doha Qatar, an Islamic cleric told the attendees that the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu may try to build the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and he said that when the Jews build the Temple, they will do so upon the destruction of the al Aqsa Mosque, a site sacred to Moslems.

Sheikh Salah said the solution to the Jewish threat against Jerusalem is a complete mobilization of the Arab world including the religious leaders who need to act and recruit the Moslem masses to confront their duty towards the problem in Jerusalem and al Aqsa Mosque.

The claim by a Moslem cleric that Israeli PM Netanyahu will try to rebuild the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem has an interesting connection to what Bible prophecy says about that coming Temple.

My experience with the Israeli government is that they steer clear from any action or statements that refer to the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Israeli political leaders recognize this issue as very controversial and that it could lead to a major conflict. Israeli religious leaders, however, recognize that the Bible does speak of the previous Jewish Temples and a coming Temple to be built in Jerusalem.

Three thousand years ago, King Solomon built the first Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, II Chronicles 3. That Temple, destroyed by the Babylonians, was rebuilt by Jews returning from the Babylonian cativity under the leadership of Zerubbabel, Ezra 1-6. The Temple in Jerusalem during the time of Jesus, Herod's Temple, was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D. Bible prophecy reveals there will be another Temple in Jerusalem, in fact, two more temples. Jesus, when He returns, will build His Temple, Zechariah 6:12. But, before that time, during the Tribulation Period, there will be a Temple built in Jerusalem, Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4 and Revelation 11:1.

Preparations for this next Temple are ready.

The Palestinian Authority wants to give control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to the global Islamic community

The Minister of Jerusalem Affairs in the Palestinian Authority(PA) says the PA favors transferring control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to the Organization of Islamic Conference made up of the 57 member states of this global Islamic organization.

The PA would accept the management of the Temple Mount by the Saudi based Organization of Islamic Conference whose 57 member states includes Iran and other Islamic members who have called for Israel to be wiped off the face of the earth. The Israeli government officially has the sovereign control of the old city of Jerusalem which includes the Temple Mount, but Israel has given custodial responsibilities to the PA of this site, the most sacred site in all of Judaism.

The question of control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem will be the major controversy in the Last Days according to Bible prophecy.

For the PA and the Organization of Islamic Conference to even consider taking control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the al Aqsa Mosque as they refer to this site, is beyond imagination in our world today. The Temple Mount is the most sacred piece of real estate in the world to the Jewish people and for the Global Islamic Community to claim sovereign control of this holy site in the heart of the capital city of Israel is considered by the Jewish state to be outrageous.

The ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah wrote 2,500 years ago that what we see happening today would be the case when Jesus Christ returns to the earth to build His Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Zechariah 12:2 says that Jerusalem will be the center of controversy at this time. Zechariah 1:14-16 reveals that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will be aggressively possessive of Jerusalem, He will be angered by the arrogant security of those who think they control the Temple Mount and Jesus will come and build His Temple on this holy site and rule and reign from that Temple forever.

Any claim by the global Islamic community will be set aside. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

A Washington insider says that an Iran with nuclear capability would transform the power balance in the Middle East and set the region for nuclear war

Anthony Cortisman, a former director of intelligence assessment for the Secretary of Defense, who is now a top strategic guru at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, says that if Iran achieves it's goal of a nuclear weapon of mass destruction the entire power-balance of the Middle East will be changed and it will set the stage for a nuclear war in the region.

Cortisman says that theoretically it is possible that the Israeli State, economy and organized society would survive such an almost mortal blow; however, Iran would not survive in the normal sense of the term.

Anthony Cortisman the strategic guru in Washington says that a nuclear confrontation between Iran and Israel would kill millions of Iranians and leave Israel crippled, but the Jewish State would survive.

This scenario that at this point in time is possible, if all intelligence from the region is correct, is only in the mind's of the analyst. But from the pages of Bible prophecy this potential war, nuclear or not, will take place according to the ancient Jewish prophets.

Ezekiel mentioned Iran specifically as a nation that will form a coalition with other nations to attack Israel and endeavor to destroy the Jewish State, that's in Ezekiel 38:5 where Iran is referred to as Persia.

Bible prophecy does not mention that nuclear weapons will be used but the prophets do say that the total destruction of the Jewish State is on the agenda of the alignment of nations against Israel in the last days, as found also in the prophetic books of Daniel, Joel and Micah.

The assessment that there could be a nuclear war in the Middle East and soon is close to what Bible prophecy calls for in the last days. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

A landmark archaeological discovery found in the British museum gives proof of Old Testament truth

An expert on ancient Babylon, Dr. Michael Jersey of Vienna, has discovered a small clay tablet located in the British museum that is a landmark archaeological discovery and provides proof of the Old Testament's veracity.

Though the tablet was unearthed near Baghdad in 1920, only recently has it been deciphered by Dr. Jersey which led to the discovery of the records of a donation of gold by the chief eunuch of King Nebuchadnezzar. Dr. Jersey quickly consulted Jeremiah 39 where he found the man's name listed as one of Nebuchadnezzar's top ministers who actually took part in the destruction of the first Temple in Jerusalem 2,500 years ago.

An ancient Babylonian tablet found in the British museum is evidence that the nation of Iraq will be destroyed forever according to Bible prophecy.

A recent discovery in the British museum by an expert on ancient Babylon gives a direct link to the Bible and the Babylonian history under King Nebuchadnezzar. The Babylonian tablet gives the name of one of Nebuchadnezzar's top ministers which is the same name of Nebuchadnezzar's men found in Jeremiah 39. This Old Testament passage used by the archaeologist is the account of King Nebuchadnezzar's siege of the city of Jerusalem and the destruction of the Temple in 586 BC.

It was that destruction of the Jewish temple in Jerusalem 2,500 years ago that God said would be the reason He would destroy the Babylonians, the modern-day Iraqis, forever, Jeremiah 50:28, 51:11. However, before the Babylonians and the literal city of Babylon are destroyed, this nation and the city of Babylon will become the headquarters for the one-world, economic, political, governmental system led by Antichrist, Revelation 18.

Of course, that war-torn nation must be rebuilt and become the power center of the world before the destruction as recorded in Revelation 16:17-21.

Scientists are preparing a robotic submarine to dive to the deepest part of the ocean

A robotic submarine is undergoing final preparations to dive to the deepest known part of the ocean which is called the Challenger Deep some 3600 feet deep in the Pacific Ocean near the island of Guam. The Challenger Deep is the deepest abyss on Earth. In fact, it is deeper than Mount Everest is high, and at that depth, pressure reached 1100 times the pressure on the surface which makes the engineering and building of such a vehicle a huge challenge. 

The mission is more than just proving new technology. Scientists believe that this new robotic submarine will allow them to see all kinds of new life forms in novel habitats and they are expecting the unexpected.

The robotic submarine that will take scientists to the deepest part of the ocean may not find what God has put there as it relates to the future - according to Bible prophecy.

British scientists are preparing a robotic submarine to be used in a dive to the deepest part of the ocean which they hope will reveal new scientific discoveries. The Challenger Deep in the west Pacific near the island of Guam is the site to be explored and these marine biologists can only anticipate the new discoveries they may find in this endeavor. 

As I am reporting this anticipated scientific event, my mind goes back to the passage of scripture that is found in the Old Testament - a prophetic passage in the last chapter of Micah. The ancient Jewish prophet in the context is acknowledging the sins of his people, the Jewish people (Micah 7:9). The prophet also warns the enemies of the Jewish people in the last days that when the Lord is finished chastising His people, then God will take care of the enemies of the Jewish people (Micah 7:10). In this same context, God tells the prophet that He will take the sins of the Jews and cast them into the depths of the deepest sea (Micah 7:19). It is in this context that Micah reveals the time of this prophecy to be when the Jewish people have cattle grazing on the Golan Heights - that is Bashan in verse 14. And I have to report, that is happening today. 

The robotic submarine dive into the deepest part of the ocean does indeed attract our attention to the fact that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

An Israeli official tells US Vice President Joe Biden to have some respect for the land of the Bible

In a speech to a convention in Washington, DC, the US Vice President Joe Biden said Israel must stop building in Judea and Samaria and in fact should dismantle existing outposts in the West Bank allowing for freedom of movement for the Palestinian people.

These remarks from Vice President Biden drew a response from a member of the Israeli Knesset, Ketzaleh Katz, that the vice president should be a bit more careful when giving instructions to a sovereign democratic state and should have more respect for the Bible, the people of the Bible and the land of the Bible.

Katz said Mr. Biden's nation is barely 230 years old and Israel is a land where Jews have lived for thousands of years building their holy temples and holy places in the very areas that the vice president says Israel should freeze, locations like Shiloh, Beth-el and the Temple Mount in the old city of Jerusalem.

An exhortation from an Israeli official to the US Vice President about having more respect for the land of the Bible has very interesting connections to Bible prophecy.

US Vice President Joe Biden did not mix his words with uncertainty as he addressed the pro-Israeli Convention in Washington, DC recently and when he said Israel must stop bulding on the land most Israeli Jews believe God gave to them. These statements by the US vice president evoked a response from a member of the Israeli Knesset that the vice president must have more respect for the Bible, the people of the Bible and the land of the Bible.

In the Bible, Leviticus 25:23, God says the land is His land and He has chosen the Jewish people to be caretakers of the land. The ancient Jewish prophet, Ezekiel revealed in Ezekiel 36:22 that God gave the Jewish people this land for His holy namesake, when He could sware by nothing greater, He promised the Jews this land in His name. Enemies of the Jews in the Last Days will endeavor to try to take this land from the Jewish people, Ezekiel 35:10-12.

Vice President Biden's statement does indeed move us closer to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

The former US Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich says the Obama Administration is endangering Israel

The former Speaker of the US Congress, Newt Gingrich, told the American Public Affairs Committee the Obama Administration is on a collision course with Israel and is endangering the Jewish state referring to reports about President Obama's approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Gingrich called President Obama's program of engagement on Iran a "fantasy" and his Middle East policies very dangerous to Israel, a clear adoption of weakness, the weakest since Jimmy Carter.

The former Speaker of the House said that there is almost an eagerness to take on the Israeli government to make a point with the Arab world instead of sending the message to Israel that the US is for the survival of Israel.

If former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich is correct that the Obama Middle East policies endanger the Jewish state of Israel, this has a great prophetic significance, that is according to Bible prophecy.

In the political arena, the politicians make many claims that may not be completely accurate and some times they are even used to manipulate public opinion. On the Obama Administration's Middle East policy question, there is the recent evaluation of former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich that President Obama's Middle East policies are endangering the Jewish state of Israel which is a legitimate question that needs to be answered. No one should support everything the secular state of Israel does, but no nation should put the Jewish state in harm's way.

The Jewish state of Israel was reborn after almost 2,000 years as a fulfillment of Bible prophecy, Ezekiel 34 and 37. God has given the Jews a piece of real estate as He promised He would, Ezekiel 36. Bible prophecy does call for a number of nations to do all they can to destroy the Jewish state, Ezekiel 38.

America should be very careful who's side they are on and remember, Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Iraqi government has launched a project to renovate the burial site of the ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel located south of Baghdad and the country's ministry of tourism and antiquities says it hopes to eventually repair and renovate other Jewish sites across the entire country. The Jewish community in Iraq was once one of the largest and most prominent Jewish communities in the Middle East which, after the establishment of a Jewish state in 1948, more than 120,000 Iraqi Jews moved to Israel in the 1950's in a clandestine operation called Operation Ezra and Nehemiah.

The Iraqi government says that the tombs of Daniel, Ezra, Nahum, and Jonah are also located in Iraq and the ministry of tourism will reestablish their sites as sacred spots for Jewish and Christian pilgrims.

The burial sites of several ancient Jewish prophets are evidence to their existence and a reminder of the prophecies of these prophets for the end times.

As war-torn Iraq continues to rebuild, there is a plan that is being put forth by the Iraqi ministry of tourism and antiquities that will most likely draw many Jewish and Christian pilgrims to this area. In addition to Biblical sites like Babylon and Ninevah, the prophets that had connection to these two cities are men who served in this region of the world and lived out their lives in what was once a major crossroad for Biblical events. This reality is what the Iraqi government wants to promote to the world to draw tourists to their nation.

What is interesting to me as a student of Bible prophecy, is that these prophets, Nahum, Jonah, Daniel, and Ezekiel all had the ministry of pre-writing the history of today, or in other words, the last days prophecies that are unfolding even as I speak. Nahum and Jonah focused on Ninevah which is the modern-day northern area of Iraq, the oil rich area. Daniel and Ezekiel were both captives in Babylon in southern Iraq and both spoke of what would happen in these areas in the last days. Even John the apostle, the writer of the book of Revelation, foretold of the end times activities in Iraq, Biblical Babylon (Revelation 18).

Remember, Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

An Israeli political leader says if elected prime minister, he will build the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem

Moshe Feiglin, head of the Jewish Leadership Movement and a member of Prime Minister Netanyahu's Likud Party, said that if he was elected as Prime Minister of Israel, he will try to build the destroyed temple in Jerusalem - something that is the aspiration of every Jew. Feiglin said that he would take away control over the Temple Mount from the Islamic Trust that now has custodial responsibilities of this sacred spot and reinstate Jewish soverignity over the entire mount and hopefully rebuild the temple. Feiglin said that Israeli political leaders since 1967 have missed the chance to realize every Jew's aspiration to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem.

The statement by an Israeli political leader that, if elected prime minister, he would rebuild the temple in Jerusalem, has an interesting connection to Bible prophecy on the subject of the temple. 

On a daily basis and three times every day, many religious Jews pray for the rebuilding of their temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Most Israeli political leaders shy away from any talk about the temple, realizing if there is to be a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem that the Dome of the Rock, a Moslem commemorative building must be removed which assuredly would spark a major conflict in the Middle East. Now that for the first time an Israeli politician is saying that if elected prime minister he would rebuild the temple, the prospects increase for that major Jewish-Moslem conflict. What is so interesting is that Bible prophecy predicts both will happen. There will be a conflict over Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, and there will be a temple rebuild on that sacred spot. 

2500 years ago, the ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah wrote that Jerusalem, in the last days, would be the center of controversy (Zechariah 12:2-3). The prophet also said that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, would return and rebuild the temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem (Zechariah 1:16, 6:12). 

Whether an Israeli prime minister will ever have a part in building the temple on the Temple Mount or not, Messiah will rebuild the temple. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Jerusalem police stop Jewish worshipers from entering the Temple Mount

Israeli members of the Knesset, Israel's parliament, are protesting the closing of the Temple Mount to Jewish worshipers due to a threat by the Muslim community to attack any Jews on the Temple Mount which the Israeli legislators say is a surrender to terrorism. These Jewish leaders say the Israeli government has issued another blow to the Jewish rights to worship freely in the land of Israel and especially on the Temple Mount, the most sacred site in the world for the Jewish people - the site of the previous Jewish temples and the expected site for the next Jewish temple. 

The Knesset members say the Jerusalem police officials instead of sending signals to the terrorists of Jewish fear, they should back the Israeli citizens, pursue the terrorists, and send a strong message of determination and unwillingness to concede to terrorism.

The closing of the Temple Mount to Jewish worshipers because of a threat of a terrorist attack is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled. 

Jerusalem police have the constant concern about security on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem especially when there seems to be a conflict between the Muslims and the Jews who both use the site as a place of worship. Jewish worshipers recognize the security concerns but are dismayed by their own government for condescending to a Muslim threat of attacks on Jewish worshipers on the Temple Mount resulting in the closing of this sacred Jewish site to the Jewish worshipers. 

This scenario sees the Israeli government playing into the hands of terrorists as was foretold 2500 years ago by the ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah. The Lord told Zechariah (Zechariah 1:14) that He was jealous over the Temple Mount. Actually, the Hebrew says, that the Lord is "arrogantly possessive" of this sacred spot. The Lord also said that He was very displeased with those who are arrogantly secure on the Temple Mount hindering the Jewish worshipers from entering that spot (Zechariah 1:15). The Lord Jesus Christ will come one day and settle the question by building His temple there on the Temple Mount (Zechariah 1:16).

Scientists say that the global oil reserves could run out within four years

There is a group of scientists based in London that have challenged the major review of global oil reserves and they are warning that oil supplies will start to run out in only four years time, a report that governments and oil companies are not ready to admit according to the scientists.

Dr. Colin Campbell, the head of this delegation of scientists says that world consumption of oil will catch and then out strip the discovery of new reserves even as oil reserves are depleted affecting the world economy.

A survey of the four countries with the biggest reported reserves Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, and Kuwait reveals major concerns especially since consumption is increasing by 2 to 3 million barrels a day, each year.

The depletion of global oil reserves within the next four years may well speed up the fulfillment of the End Times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Two-thirds of the world's oil reserves lie in the Middle East and increasing demand will have to be met with massive increases in supply from the region. Scientists now believe that within four years global oil reserves will begin to run out.

This report if correct could have a major impact on the Middle East region and in particular the major oil producers in the region Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Iran. In reality, the sale of oil by these middle eastern nations has been the key factor in the influence of these nations who lead the war against the Jewish state in the end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Psalm 83, Daniel 11, and Ezekiel 38 reveal the Middle Eastern nations that attack Israel in the Last Days. In the book Joel chapter 2 there is a description of the mighty militia that will go to Jerusalem to set up its world empire.

Daniel 9:27 and 11:45 reveals that a world economic leader will come to power. Revelation 18 says that he will be headquartered in the midst of these oil rich nations, nations about to deplete their oil resources.

The time seems short until Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.

The Palestinian Authority has warned Palestinians that they will face a death penalty for selling land to Jews

The Palestinian Authority has issued a warning to Palestinians against selling their homes or their properties to Jewish people saying that those who violate the order would be accused of high treason, a charge that carries the death penalty. The chief Islamic judge of the Palestinian Authority, Sheik Rajab Tamimi, said that the existing fatwa, a religious decree, bans Muslims from selling property to Jews which according to Islamic teaching is a grave sin and, if ignored, the death penalty would be applied. The sheik said that the ban was necessary to counter the Jewish efforts to change the Arab and Islamic culture of Jerusalem to make it a Jewish city instead of a religious, political, and spiritual capital of the Palestinian people.

Even though the Palestinian Authority gives the death penalty to a Palestinian who sells land to Jews, the fulfillment of end time Bible prophecy will not be stopped.

The Palestinian Authority has, for years, implemented the death penalty on Palestinians that have sold land or even been involved in an arrangement to sell land to the Jewish people. One of the Muslim judges involved with the Palestinian Authority has issued another warning and a reminder to the Palestinian people that Islamic law forbids the sale of property to Jews by Muslim people.

This report brings to mind several issues that have a connection to end time Bible prophecy. The Palestinian Authority, the governing body of the Palestinian people, has no authority to issue a death penalty but past experience show they can back up their warning and a number of Palestinians have been executed for selling property to Jews - evidence that the Palestinians, Edomites of history, all descendents of Esau, hate Jews (Genesis 27:40-41).

As it relates to the land that might be bought or sold - the land is God's land (Leviticus 25:23) and He has promised it to the Jewish people and those promises are contained within the Abrahamic Covenant (Genesis 15:18), the Land Covenant (Deuteronomy 30:1-9), and the New Covenant (Jeremiah 31:17).

In the future, land owned by the Palestinians will not be sold to the Jews but instead given to them by God. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Two hundred Islamic clerics and scholars meeting in Istanbul have called for a holy war against Israel

In a meeting hall crowded with over two hundred Sunni Muslim sheiks and scholars in Istanbul, Turkey, senior officials of the Islamic terrorist organization Hamas and these Turkish Muslim clerics called for a "jihad", a holy war, against Israel over the recent war in Gaza. "Gaza is a gift", according to one Sunni religious leader, "Gaza gives us power, it solves our differences, it has united Muslim front against Israel the Zionists, and the Gaza war with Israel was a victory for Hamas and the Muslim world over the Jewish state" according to these clerics. 

This group of Turkish Muslim clerics and scholars that met with Hamas officials said that Gaza is a legitmate third jihadist front, the first two being Afghanistan and Iraq, and they concluded that the intensity of the Israeli attacks had awakened all Muslims thus the call for jihad against Israel.

A call for jihad against Israel by two hundred Turkish Islamic clerics and scholars is a page out of many pages in Bible prophecy.

For a number of years, radical Islamic clerics in the Muslim world have called for jihad against the Jewish state of Israel. Islam has the doctrine of the "house of Islam" which means that once a nation has been under Islamic control that piece of land can never be controlled by a non-Muslim government. Israel is not only controlling the land, once in the "house of Islam" but the Jews are prospering in that nation. This situation sets the stage for Islamic holy war against the Jewish state. 

Several ancient Jewish prophets wrote of this prophetic scenario thousands of years ago. Joel wrote that the largest army ever assembled will come against Israel in the last days (Joel 2:3-4) and only the Islamic world could put together that size of a militia. Ezekiel wrote that Turkey would be a leader of this attack (Ezekiel 38:2,6) where Meshech, Tubal, Gomer, and Togarmah are modern-day Turkey. Daniel 11 and Psalm 83 mentions the rest of the nations that will form this Islamic jihad that the Turkish clerics and scholars have called for. 

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

An Israeli archaeologist has unearthed biblical proof of the prophet Jeremiah in the ancient City of David

Dr. Eilat Mazar, professor at Hebrew University in Jerusalem and the leader of the archaeological team digging at the City of David, has unearthed proof of another biblical story, this time a story of one of the ministers of King Zedekiah from the period of the Babylonian invasion of Jerusalem.

A completely in tact seal impression or "bula" bearing the name of Pashur was uncovered only a few feet away from a second such seal which was found three years ago, this first seal also belonging to a minister of King Zedekiah. Dr. Mazar remarked that this archaeological find is absolutely fantastic and very special, and again gives proof of the authority and authenticity of the biblical account of the city of Jerusalem and the Babylonian captivity of the Jewish people.

Archaeological proof of the biblical book of Jeremiah has a historic significance as well as a profound prophetic significance for the Last Days.

The archaeological find of two different seal impressions with the names of two ministers in the court of the Jewish King Zedekiah dates back some 2,600 years ago and is of great historic significance. The two ministers are two of a number of men who encouraged King Zedekiah to put the prophet Jeremiah to death because he had prophesied that the king should surrender Jerusalem to the Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar instead of fighting the invading army, Jeremiah 38:1-4.

Jeremiah 50-51, which reveals the total destruction of Babylon, is for today or at least in the near future as it relates to the modern day name for Babylon, the nation of Iraq. Revelation 18 reveals that Babylon, modern day Iraq, will be the international headquarters for the one-world, economic, political, governmental system led by the one-world dictator, the Antichrist.

All that we see unfolding in Iraq today is indeed setting the stage for the prophecies in Jeremiah against Babylon. The archaeological find in Jerusalem is evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Islamic movement in Israel says seminars on the Jewish Temple are a danger to Islamic site

Islamic movement spokesman Zahi Nujidat says seminars offered by a Jewish organization on the third Temple endangers the al Aqsa Mosque, a holy site for the Islamic world.

This three-part seminar held throughout Israel with tens of thousands in attendance, included a virtual tour of the Temple Mount, an explanation of the daily Temple life as well as a job description for the kohanim, the priests. The Islamic spokesman said the seminars are a serious threat and a drastic move toward the establishment of a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in place of al Aqsa Mosque which is the third holiest site in Islam.

The Islamic outcry over seminars on the third Temple, being attended by tens of thousands of Jews in Israel, is a precursor to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy

An ultra-Orthodox Jewish movement has been holding seminars on the third Jewish Temple that have angered the Islamic movement in Israel who claims these seminars present a danger to their Islamic holy site, the al Aqsa Mosque. Al Aqsa is the third holiest site in Islam, while at the same time it is the holiest site in Judaism and the location of the next Jewish Temple that is being prepared for right now. Both Islam and Judaism say they cannot share the Temple Mount. Only one religion can control the worship on this sacred piece of real estate; therefore, there will be a conflict over this site as was foretold by the ancient Jewish prophets.

Zechariah wrote 2,500 years ago that the Temple Mount would become intoxicating to those who control this spot and it would be a burdensome weight, Zechariah 12:2-3. The Psalmist wrote that the Lord has chosen this spot to dwell among the Jewish people forever, Psalm 132:13-14. Jesus will come to build His Temple on the Temple Mount, Zechariah 6:12, just after the Antichrist has built a Temple there and desecrated it, Daniel 9:27.

Conflict over the Temple Mount and a coming Temple does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

PA President Abbas tells the European Parliament that the Israeli war in Gaza was a war crime and he wants the EU to get involved in the Middle East

Speaking to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France, the president of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, told the members of the parliament that the Israeli war in Gaza was a war crime and has urged Europe to play a bigger role in the Middle East renewing his calls for the European Union to be peacemakers and election monitors in the Middle East.

The Palestinian leader, Mahmoud Abbas, while addressing the European Parliament, called for the European Union to become more involved in the Middle East. That, basically, is a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days. 

Though the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas was uncharacteristically quiet during the recent Gaza war and even condemned Hamas for instigating the war, the Palestinian leader is now saying that the Israeli war on Gaza was a war crime and he wants the international community to get involved. Abbas used the Gaza war to call for the European Union to become more involved in the Middle East. The Palestinian leader wants the European Union to take a definite part in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. 

This present scenario is very close to the prophetic scenario that is found in Bible prophecy. The ancient Jewish prophet Daniel reveals that in the last days, the "ten horns" (Daniel 7:7), and the "little horn" (Daniel 7:8) will be fulfilled by the Revived Roman Empire, today's European Union, and the Antichrist who will come to power as the leader of the Revived Roman Empire - the European Union of today. This worldwide leader, the Antichrist, will establish peace in the Middle East (Daniel 9:27). The Revived Roman Empire will play a major role in Bible prophecy.

The call by the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas for the European Union to become more involved in the Middle East and, in particular, as it relates to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

With a strong Israeli economy, and the dropping stock markets in the US, Israeli officials believe that we are on the brink of a new wave of immigrants that will move to Israel. In Israel, the economic situation has a great future, with the tourist trade and high technology industries doing well and growing rapidly. Israel’s economy looks to have a bright future, especially when compared to the approaching recession in the United States.

It is believed that with this financial crunch, especially the very religious “Ultra-orthodox” Jewish community will awaken and remember the biblical imperative of immigration to Israel.

It doesn’t matter whether Jewish people move to Israel because of a financial crunch, or because the Bible says they must. The end result is that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Over the last hundred years, Jews from all over the world have moved to Israel. The reborn Jewish state has seen some great periods of Aliyah. Aliyah is the Hebrew word for Jewish people immigrating back to Israel. The big wave of immigration during the 1990s was from Russia - with about 1.3 million Russian Jews immigrating to Israel. There was another wave from Ethiopia, which spanned several years. Following World War II and the Holocaust, Jews from Europe came in great numbers to help establish the Jewish State.

This report is evidence that Bible prophecy is indeed in the process of being fulfilled. The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel wrote some 2,500 years ago that the Lord would find the Jews where ever they had been scattered and gather them back to Israel. The Lord says 18 times in Ezekiel 34 that He will find His people and bring them into the land. Ezekiel 36, which refers 35 times to the land of Israel, says that the Jewish people would be brought back into the land of their forefathers - the land where they are living today - the Jewish state of Israel.

Even though it may be because of the financial crunch in the United States today, Jews are making ready to move to the land of Israel, and thus fulfill Bible prophecy.

A movie and television special presents an Islamic Jesus to the Moslem world

A film producer, who shares the ideas of Iran's hard-line president, has produced what he says is the first film giving an Islamic view of Jesus Christ in a bid to show the common ground, he says, between Moslems and Christians.

The film, Jesus the spirit of Allah, and it's television version which will further explore the links between Jesus and the Immam Mahdi, the Moslem Messiah, who will usher in, with Jesus, a new era of peace and harmony.

The film and TV version of the Islamic Jesus says that Jesus was not crucified but was taken by Allah directly into heaven to await His return with the Islamic Messiah.

An Islamic Jesus, who did not die on a cross and resurrect from the dead, is not the Jesus of the Bible, and a film depicting such a Jesus to the Moslem world has great prophetic significance for the end times.

In an effort to make a bridge between Christianity and Islam, despite the stark divergence from Christian doctrine about the final hours of Jesus Christ before His death, the Iranian film producer believes he can open the door for dialog between Christians and Moslems.

The film, by saying that Allah saved Jesus from death on a cross with Judas taking His place, is a stark contradiction to the Bible records in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is the foundation of the Christian faith.

The Apostle Paul wrote the Corinthians two thousand years ago that if Jesus Christ did not die and resurrect from the dead, He was not the Son of God and we Christians are still in sin, I Corinthians 15:1-20.

In that same letter to the Christians in Corinth, Paul wrote of the Rapture of the Church, I Corinthians 15:51-53, when Jesus will take us from Earth to Heaven to be with Him forevermore. The Resurrection of Jesus Christ is a must if the Rapture is to take place.

Anyone, Islamists or whomever, who says that Jesus Christ did not die and raise from the dead is of an Anti-Christ philosophy, I John 2. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Scientists now say our Milky Way is much larger than first thought and is on a collision course

According to a research report given at a major astronomy meeting, scientists now say our galaxy is much larger than once thought and the results suggest that the Milky Way is as large as the largest galaxy in our local group. Astronomers were able to calculate the total amount of dark matter in the Milky Way which makes up the majority of the galaxy's mass which is about 50 percent more mass than earlier predicted.

The greater mass means that future collisions with nearby galaxies could happen sooner than thought according to researchers but these researchers say a possible collision is still billions of years in the future.

The latest scientific research reveals information that once again is evidence of how science may one day catch up to the truth that is found in God's word, the Bible.

The latest scientific information about the earth's galaxy, the Milky Way, is that it is possibly 50 percent larger that previously thought. The astronomers that made the report recently stated that this could increase the chances of a collision in space, a collision that the scientific world believes is at least a billion years from now - don't be too worried about the collision. Once again, it is clear that astronomy is an evolving science - they do not have all the facts straight quite yet.

God's word is much closer to the truth of the origins of the universe that science has ever been even though we take the Biblical account of Creation by faith. God's word uses 5 words to speak about the creation of the stars which is found in Genesis 1:16 where it says, "He made the stars also." God's word said it, and that settles it for me.

Prophetically, this is key because II Peter 3 says that in the last days men will deny the Lord's Second Coming as they also deny that God created the heavens, the Earth, and all that in them is - and He controls all of His Creation. God's word is absolute scientifically and prophetically. Jesus Christ is coming - Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

A group of American Christian leaders have launched a campaign against Christians who support Israel

What the media refers to as leftist American Christian leaders have launched a full-scale public relations campaign against Christians who support Israel who these Christian leaders call, "Christian Zionists."

A brochure being distributed to approximately 45 million Americans charges that Christian Zionists foster fear and hatred of Muslims and non-western Christians and can lead to the dehumanization of Israelis and Palestinians. These church leaders that oppose the Christian Zionists claim that the security of the United States is being harmed because the absence of a Palestinian state encourages terrorist attacks against the United States as well as Israel.

American churches divided in their support for the Jewish state of Israel is a forerunner to the prophetic scenario in the Bible for the End Times.

When American church leaders launch a full-scale public relations campaign against the element of the American Christian community that wholeheartedly supports the Jewish state of Israel, the world stands by and watches as the body of Christ moves away from total support to God's plan for the End Times.

The definition of a Christian Zionist is a true born again believer in Jesus Christ that accepts the prophetic scenario found in God's Word for the Jewish people in the last days. 2500 years ago, the ancient Jewish prophets wrote that in the last days, God would bring Jews from the four corners of the Earth to the land of their forefathers, the land of Israel (Ezekiel 34, 36, 37 Deuteronomy 30, and Jeremiah 31).

Revelation 17 speaks of a false religion in the last days that would fall under satanic influence and oppose the creation of a Jewish state in the Middle East and God's fulfillment of His promises to the Jews.

God promised Abraham, Genesis 12 and 15, that there would be a Jewish nation on the land that they now live on and they would live there forever. In spite of the public relations campaign launched by leftist American church leaders against these prophecies, Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Lebanese government has put the process to form full diplomatic relations with what it is calling the state of Palestine and is elevating the office of the PLO in Beirut to the status of an embassy.

The Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) is regarded by the Arab League as the sole representative of the Palestinian people and the PLO is currently headed by Mahmoud Abbas who is also the President of the PA that is located in Israel. Lebanon believes that the show of support Abbas who is facing tough times due to a split in the Palestinian people and a running battle between Fatah and Hamas, that this support will help Abbas.

An Arab nation, Lebanon recognizing the state of Palestine is in lockstep with Bible prophecy for the Last Days.

Even though there has never been a state of Palestine, for the seventy years the Middle East leaders have been calling for the Jewish people to give the state of Palestine back to the Palestinian people. Someone said, "If you tell a lie long enough, it seems to become what people consider the true". Now, Lebanon is helping to continue that lie. Every Middle East peace process that has been tried has also called for the two-state solution, Israel and Palestine. A study of history will not reveal a state of Palestine, however it will reveal the Ottoman Empire controlling the place today called Israel from 1515 to 1917. Then, the British took control of the area until the UN granted the Jewish people a state called Israel.

The ancient Jewish prophets Malachi, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Obadiah all reveal that in the Last Days the Edomites, descendants of Esau, the Palestinian people today would rise up and build a nation even with specific borders, Ezekiel 35, Jeremiah 49, Malachi 1 and Obadiah.

Lebanon's recognition of the state of Palestine is indeed a step closer to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
