The US-led military attack on Syrian chemical weapons has sent a signal to Syria, Russia, Iran, the entire Middle East, and in fact the entire world

Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: It looks to me like this had to be a signal sent. Did Syria get the message you think?

KT: Honestly I don’t know yet. If the strike did serious damage to Assad’s military capabilities I think it’s going to make him think twice about using these weapons again. They don’t have a dramatic impact on the battlefield I have to say. They are not militarily precise weapons they attack civilians not combatants. They are weapons of terror.

JD: Russia however has said there was no such thing as chemical weapons usage, it was all a staged situation. Do you think Russia and Iran got the message?

KT: In the days before this reprise strike the Russians had been cyber rabbling and saying we’re not going to allow any US missiles to hit Syria and we’re going to defend Syria and yet guess what? When the missiles started to fly the Russians didn’t do anything. My guess is that neither one of them realized that they wanted to get in between those missiles and their targets it would have been deadly for them.

JD: What about North Korea? Did Kim get the message there in North Korea and is this a good set up for the meeting that both Kim and Trump are to have?

KT: This type of strike that did not go after the Assad regime would be precisely the kind of message that the US should be sending to North Korea. The message is this, get rid of your weapons on mass destruction if you don’t we will take them out but we won’t necessarily take out your regime. We’ll take out the weapons but we won’t necessarily strike the regime and the object of that is to essentially discourage or to deter any kind of response from in this case Syria but also from North Korea down the line.

JD: Ken Timmerman with the details behind the message that the United States led attack on Syria’s chemical arsenal sent to the world.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

President Trump’s decision to attack Syria’s chemical weapons of mass destruction program was to fold, to destroy any additional use of chemical weapons of mass destruction on the Syrian people and to signal the world what the United States is ready to do in its efforts to stop the use of any weapon of mass destruction. The political decision set in motion a military operation that actually brought into focus the prophetic scenario for the end times as foretold in Bible prophecy. Ezekiel 38, Psalm 83, and Daniel 11:40-44 mention the players involved in these future events and recent actions show all the actors in place. The stage is set, the last drama about to begin. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
