There are Jews in Israel preparing for service in the rebuilt Jewish temple

Listen to Today's Program Play

A group of religious Jews who live in the Jordan Valley near the ancient city of Jericho are taking practical steps to prepare for the building of the third temple in Jerusalem by preparing descendants of the Kohanim, the priests, and the Levites for service in this next temple. These Jewish leaders have established a training center where temple priests can learn exactly how to conduct the daily temple services and offer the required sacrifices as dictated by the Jewish laws from the Biblical book of Leviticus.

The training center will include an exact replica of the temple where the student-priests can learn to do their duties which are required and this training center, the organizers believe, comes at an historic time marking the beginning of the work for the third temple.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

With the establishment of a training center in Israel to prepare the Jewish priests to operate a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem we see Bible prophecy ever so close to being fulfilled.

Recently, the Moslem violence on the Temple Mount focused the world on a controversial piece of real estate and an even more controversial project on this site - the rebuilding of a Jewish temple. Moslem concerns about the Jews taking the Temple Mount to build a temple there have been fueled by the number of projects going on to prepare for the eventuality of a Jewish temple in Jerusalem.

The Temple Institute, for example, has prepared all the implements to be used in the next temple. The Harrari Harp Factory has made the harps to be used when the next temple is erected on the Temple Mount. Gershon Solomon's Temple Mount Faithful have the cornerstone by which they hope to start construction of the next temple. Now, near Jericho in the Jordan Valley of Israel, there is a training center to teach the priests and the Levites how to serve in the next temple.

Bible prophecy says that there will be a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in the last days (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1). This a temple that will be built during the seven year Tribulation period, that time of testing yet in the future.

As evidenced by this report, the next temple has been prepared for and construction could start very soon. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

A Dutch political leader says that liberal politicians are facilitating the spread of Islamic holy war

Listen to Today's Program Play

The Dutch political leader, Geert Wilders, addressing the British House of Lords told them that liberal political leaders are facilitating the spread of Islamic jihad, Islamic holy war, because they consider Islam as being equal to the culture of the West. Wilders believes that Islam is not compatible with the Western way of life and is a threat to the West - Islam and freedom, Islam and democracy are not compatible - Islam wants to dominate all aspects of life from the cradle to the grave.

Wilders has a film that warns the world of Islam's desire to set up a caliphate, a worldwide kingdom under Islam and holy war as the means to that end.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The spread of radical Islam with the help of liberal politicians is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Today one in every four people on the earth are of the Islamic faith and that number is increasing daily. There are several voices in our world that are shouting out a warning to humankind to be alert to the global designs of Islam. One such voice is that of the Dutch politician Geert Wilders who with his documentary film and lectures around the world, is warning the world that there may be moderate Moslems, the people of Islam, but there is no moderate Islam, the religion. Wilders says that the Islamic holy book, the Koran, calls for a worldwide kingdom under the god of Islam, Allah, and Islamic jihad, holy war, as the means to reaching that goal.

Bible prophecy itself calls for a worldwide kingdom under Jesus Christ, the holy One of the Holy Bible. In fact, God made a promise to King David many years ago that that would happen. It is called the Davidic Covenant recorded in II Samuel 7. The Bible says that there will be a kingdom headquartered in Jerusalem (Zechariah 6:12-13) and it will last for 1000 years (Revelation 20:4-6). The Bible actually contradicts the Koran. The Koran says that the Islamic god Allah had no son. The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the coming King of the worldwide kingdom.

The liberal politicians helping the spread of Islam is indeed helping to set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

An Israeli rabbi calls on God to strike the Palestinian people and their leaders

Listen to Today's Program Play

In his weekly sermon, the spiritual leader of Israel's leading ultra-orthodox political party, Rabbi Yosef, said that the Palestinian people should perish from this world and he said that the Palestinian Authority President, Mahmoud Abbas, and the Palestinian people are evil people who God should strike with a plague. Prime Minister Netanyahu moved quickly to distance himself from the rabbis comments and the Prime Minister said that the rabbis words do not reflect the approach nor the position of the government of Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The call for God to strike the Palestinian people and their leaders so that they would perish from the Earth is a precursor to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

One of Israel's most influential rabbis has caused a firestorm and resulted in condemnation from not only the United States State Department but the Prime Minister of Israel as well. Rabbi Yosef is the spiritual leader of Israel's leading orthodox political party, the Shas Party, and a kingmaker in the formation of every coalition government in Israel. The rabbi, in one of his Sabbath sermons, said that the Palestinian Authority President, Mahmoud Abbas, should perish from this world and that the Palestinian people are evil, bitter enemies of Israel.

I likewise condemn the rabbi's statement. However, I must remind you that there is much said about the conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians in Bible prophecy. The ancient Jewish prophets Ezekiel, Malachi, Jeremiah, and Obadiah all wrote of the end of times as it relates to the descendants of Jacob, the Jewish people, and Jacob's twin brother Esau and his descendants, the Palestinian people. Ezekiel 35 says that the Palestinians would rise up and kill the Jews and take their land. Malachi wrote that God would call their borders the borders of wickedness (Malachi 1). Jeremiah and Obadiah both said that at the time of the second of Jesus Christ the descendants of Esau, the Edomites - the Palestinian people of today - would indeed perish from the Earth (Jeremiah 49:18; Obadiah 16-18).

I must remind you - Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.

A Middle East expert says that the Arab lobby in Washington rules America

Listen to Today's Program Play

A new book by Middle East expert Mitchell Bard claims that the Arab lobby in Washington DC, headed up by the Saudis, has unlimited sources to try to buy what they usually cannot win on merits or their arguments. In response to the claim that the Israeli government also has a group that lobbies the United States government on Israel's behalf, Bard said that the Arab lobby is one of the strongest in America even stronger than the Israeli group and that the Arab world has many resources to call upon for influence in Washington.

Saudi officials let it be known that current US government officials can be hired following their retirement which many believe may help the officials adopt positions while in government to make themselves marketable to the Arab lobby.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The influence of the Arab lobby in the United States with its unlimited resources to buy what they cannot win on the merits of their arguments is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

There has always been pressure applied to all branches of government in the United States through what is called lobbying - advocates for a cause, who apply pressure on the Congress or the administration to go one direction instead of another. The media has complained about undue pressure from AIPAC, which is the Israeli lobby, while at the same time the Arab world has its own lobbying group in Washington headed up by the Saudis. With unlimited resources at their disposal, the Arab lobby does indeed make their wishes known to members of the United States government.

What is so interesting about this report is the list of nations found in Bible prophecy that will play a key role in the end times scenario which is revealed in the Bible. Daniel and Ezekiel, two of the ancient Jewish prophets, reveal in their prophecies these nations and most of them are members of the Arab world. Daniel points out that Syria and Egypt, referred to as the Kings of the North and the South in Daniel 11:40-43, that Syria and Egypt will join a coalition of nations to come and destroy the Jewish state of Israel in the last days. Ezekiel, in Ezekiel 38:5, mentions Ethiopia, Sudan, Somalia, and Libya as part of that same coalition. Even the Psalmist in Psalm 83 mentions Lebanon and Saudi Arabia in the alignment of Arab nations that will come against Israel.

Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.

A new Jewish interfaith group says the Jewish temple can be built on Jerusalem's Temple Mount without the destruction of the Islamic Dome of the Rock

Listen to Today's Program Play

Recently, a new Jewish interfaith group launched a project to diffuse religious strife by showing that the end of times vision of the Jewish people, a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, could be fulfilled without destroying the Islamic Dome of the Rock. Yoav Frankel, director of the initiative, believes that the Jewish temple can be built alongside the Dome of the Rock and this would transform the Temple Mount from a place of contention to a place of worship shared by Jews, Moslems, and Christians.

Islamic cleric Sheik Abdulla Darwish says that as long as there is one Moslem alive, there will be no Jewish temple and the Jewish activist Baruch Ben-Yosef, made it clear that the Temple must be built where the Dome of the Rock now stands.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The continuing debate between Moslems and Jews about what has the right to occupy the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the Dome of the Rock or a Jewish Temple, is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

3000 years ago the Jewish King Solomon built the first Jewish temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. A second Jewish temple was also erected there after the Babylonian captivity and Jews returned to Jerusalem some 2500 years ago.

The destruction of the city of Jerusalem and the Jewish temple by the Romans in 70AD left the Temple Mount empty of a Jewish worship center. The Moslems, in 691AD, built the Dome of the Rock on the site where the two Jewish temples had once stood. For the last 2000 years, Jews have prayed daily for the temple to be rebuilt on the exact spot where the first two temples stood and where the Islamic building now stands. A growing number of religious Jews are preparing to erect the third temple on the Temple Mount and they believe that the Dome of the Rock must come down.

Many ancient Jewish prophets wrote of the temple being rebuilt in the last days - Daniel, (Daniel 9:27) Ezekiel, (Ezekiel 40-46) Zechariah, (Zechariah 1:16,6:12-13) and even the Apostle John (Revelation 11:1-2).

Any suggestion of building the Jewish temple alongside the Islamic Dome of the Rock contradicts prophecy.

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

An Islamic cleric in Israel says that he would rather die than to see the rebuilding of a Jewish temple in Jerusalem

Listen to Today's Program Play

Sheik Raad Salah, the leader of the Islamic movement in Israel and speaking to Moslem students at Haifa University, told them that he would rather die than to give up the Islamic holy site where the Dome of the Rock is located in Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, and suggested the students should be ready to do the same. Sheik Salah also repeated his claim that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was intending on completing his plan to gain control of the Temple Mount and to rebuild the Jewish temple on the site that Moslems believe is holy - the third holiest site after Mecca and Medina.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Moslems that would give their lives to protect and possess the Temple Mount in Jerusalem area actually setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is becoming more and more a center of controversy. The Temple Mount is the third holiest piece of real estate for Moslems. To the Jews, it the most holy site in all of the world and the site of the first and second Jewish temples. Moslems who are ready to die to protect and possess this site would fit a scenario that will be played out in the last days according to Bible prophecy.

Zechariah said that the Temple Mount would be the center of controversy in the end times (Zechariah 12:2). Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Joel said that the Moslem world would come to Jerusalem to take it from the Jewish people (Isaiah 51:3, Ezekiel 36:35, and Joel 2:3). Ezekiel also wrote of a temple on the Temple Mount for the Messiah to rule and reign from that location (Ezekiel 40 - 46). Ezekiel's temple is the temple for the kingdom period in the future. The next temple to be erected on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem will be the one standing during the seven year Tribulation period (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1). However, this next temple will not be built until after the Rapture when Christians depart from Earth for the heavens. Until that time, no one can build the temple even Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

A CBS television news reporter denounces an archaeological dig in Jerusalem

Listen to Today's Program Play

CBS television network anchor Lesley Stahl, in the CBS television program 60 Minutes, takes aim at the archaeological dig at the City of David in Jerusalem casting doubt on the validity of the archaeological findings in the City of David excavations and the unity of the city. Stahl has claimed there is no proof that the City of David excavations are really connected to the Biblical King David who reportedly defeated the Jebusite stronghold of Jerusalem and made it the political capital of the Jewish people some 3000 years ago.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The claim by CBS anchorperson Lesley Stahl that the City of David in Jerusalem is not valid is in contradiction to Bible history and in opposition to Biblical prophecy for this location in the last days.

CBS anchorperson Lesley Stahl, in the CBS television program 60 Minutes, made an effort to destroy the authenticity of the City of David, the original 10 acre plot for Jerusalem found on the slopes of the Kidron Valley in the city of Jerusalem. Stahl accused the Israeli government of using the archaeological excavations as a political tool to indoctrinate the soldiers of the Israeli Defense Force. The CBS reporter said that having the IDF soldiers to come through the tunnel through which King David captured the city is an implicit message that King David captured this city for the Jewish people back then some 3000 years ago and thus now belongs to the Jews today.

Lesley Stahl is correct about two things. King David did capture the Jebusite stronghold of Jerusalem 3000 years ago (II Samuel 5). The CBS TV anchor is also correct about the fact that Jerusalem belongs to the Jewish people today - and that is found in the Davidic Covenant, God's promise to the Jews about Jerusalem as found in II Samuel 7. Jesus Christ, the Messiah, said that He will come back one day to build His temple in Jerusalem and rule and reign from this spot among His people, the Jewish people, forever (Zechariah 1:16, 6:12-13, and Psalm 132:13-14.)

CBS TV anchor Lesley Stahl can make all the claims she wants about the City of David and Jerusalem. However, Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The IDF has a new weapon that can fire around a corner

Listen to Today's Program Play

Two new weapons have been developed in Israel that will improve the use of personal weapons for members of the IDF in a combat situation, new weapons that will save Israeli lives but be a threat to life for any of Israel's enemies that choose to attack the Jewish state in military combat.

One such weapon, the Gilboa, is an assault rifle based on the old M-16, a weapon of war that now has all of the necessary improvements for a combat situation. The other weapon in the Israeli arsenal is the Corner Shot, which is a special Israeli technology which allows soldiers to shoot from behind a wall, in essence around the corner using a video camera and a special rotating rifle.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Brand new technology in Israel has allowed for the production of specialized weapons of war for the IDf soldier, but according to Bible prophecy, these weapons are not Israel's future, the Messiah is Israel's future.

Since the founding of the modern day state of Israel, this young Jewish nation has had four major wars and a number of military confrontations. The fact is that the IDF now has the Gilboa and the Corner Shot, two new technologies that have produced advanced combat weapons. The most amazing of these two weapons is the Corner Shot, an assault rifle that can rotate and actually shoot from behind a wall around a corner. It has a video camera and a screen that will assist the combat soldier.

An alignment of nations will come against Israel in the last days to destroy the Jewish state, Ezekiel 38. The Lord also told the prophet Ezekiel to tell the Jewish people that Jesus will protect them as foretold in Ezekiel 38:18-39:6. Even the name Israel which means, "I will fight for you", words of the Lord, are evidence that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will intercede for the Jewish people. In a secular world, it is good news to see IDF soldiers with high tech weapons, however in a spiritual world, remember, the Lord will protect His people.

The Messiah, Jesus Christ, will come back to earth to save the Jewish people as He has done down through 4000 years of history.

If oil hits a certain price, the world will no longer want Israel to exist

Listen to Today's Program Play

The head of Israel's National Economic Council, Eugene Kandel, recently told a gathering of energy and business people here in Israel that there is a price per barrel of oil at which Israel will no longer be able to exist and the world will no longer want Israel to exist.

Kandel said various energy agencies forecast the price of oil will reach $200 per barrel during the next decade because of the rising demand from the Far East and there is increasing dependency in India and China on oil from the Persian Gulf.

Kandel told the conference attendees that if Israel does not do something, those countries dependent on Middle Eat oil will be dependent on countries that are unfriendly to Israel, countries that will no longer want Israel to exist.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

With the ever-increasing demand for oil in our world today, the price for crude oil will rise above $200 per barrel which will cause the world no longer to want Israel to exist, a scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Each of us, as we fill up our car gas tanks, are very aware of the ever rising price of oil, a direct result of the ever expanding demand for oil. There are many petroleum experts that say oil will rise in price to $200 per barrel and most likely in the next decade. These oil producing nations hate Israel and would like to have the Jewish state go away.

The ancient Jewish prophets Daniel and Ezekiel both prewrote history, a prediction that we see unfolding today. Daniel refers to Syria and Egypt, Daniel 11:40-43, as a part of an alignment of nations who want Israel no longer to exist. Ezekiel wrote in chapter 38 additional names of nations that will look for a way to destroy Israel, that coalition includes: Turkey and Libya, plus Iran, the second largest producer of oil in our world. Even the Psalmist in Psalm 83 mentions Saudi Arabia, the world's largest producer of oil, as one of the alignment of nations that do not want Israel to exist and will do something about it one day, a day not too far into the future.

The price of oil is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Israeli archaeologists have unearthed a 3000 year old wall that is archaeological evidence to verify the Jewish King of Israel, King Solomon

Listen to Today's Program Play

An archaeological team led by Dr. Eliat Mazar has unearthed an ancient wall in Jerusalem that dates back to the third king of Israel, King Solomon, the son of King David, and this team believes this discovery gives proof to the Biblical account of the presence of the Jewish people in Jerusalem 3000 years ago.

Dr. Mazar cited the book of I Kings in the Bible as she explained the archaeological significance of this wall which surrounded the central city of the monarchy, the House of King Solomon and the first Temple of the Jewish people.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The archaeological discovery of an ancient wall in Jerusalem dating back to the Jewish King Solomon is evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The archaeological dig in the city of David, the original site of the city of Jerusalem, has unearthed important artifacts that give proof of a Jewish presence in Jerusalem back through history. With the recent discovery of a wall between the city of David and the Temple Mount that dates back 3000 years ago, there is further proof of a Jewish presence in the period of the first Jewish Temple. That first Temple was built in the time of King Solomon, the third king of the Jewish people. The fact that this wall is evidence of a Jewish leadership capable of building this massive fortress wall is evidence that King Solomon had the capacity to build the first Temple as well, as is recorded in I Kings 6.

The building of this Jewish Temple 3000 years ago by King Solomon was the first installment of the Davidic Covenant, II Samuel 7, which was God's promise to King David that one of his sons would build that Temple, II Samuel 7:12-13. However, the Davidic Covenant also looked into the future, beyond King Solomon to the last days when another in the lineage of King David, the Messiah, Jesus Christ would build a Temple in Jerusalem and become the King of the Kingdom that will be forever, II Samuel 7:10-16.

The discovery of an ancient wall in Jerusalem dating back to King Solomon is indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

An international financial newspaper says that Israel is the main cause of Middle East problems

Listen to Today's Program Play

The Financial Times, a London based international newspaper, says, in its news coverage and its editorial pages over the last year, that Israel is the cause for all problems in the Middle East. The Financial Times believes the role of the Jewish settlements in Israel's Judea and Samaria, above any other single factor, is affecting the conflict and the newspaper, at the same time, downplays the other factors in the conflict such as terrorism and the political split between Hamas and Fatah, the two Palestinian factions.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

An international opinion forming newspaper says that Israel is the main cause for problems in the Middle East and they may be correct according to Bible prophecy.

The Financial Times newspaper, based in London, England, has been taken to task by a media monitoring organization about their bias reporting about Israel as the publication claims that the conflict in the Middle East is all Israel's fault. The main source of agitation is the Jewish settlement activity in the area of Judea and Samaria according to The Financial Times.

I must say that to some extent The Financial Times is correct. Israel's presence in the Middle East is indeed a cause for that conflict that continues to unfold day by day. With 23 Arab states surrounding the 1 Jewish state and a population of 350 million Arabs and only about 5 million Jews, this little state has become more and more of an irritant every day to the Arabs and the Moslems in the Middle East.

However, you must remember that the land of the Jewish state is God's land (Leviticus 25:23) and God has given the land to the Jewish people. The Lord, through His ancient Jewish prophets, said that there would be trouble between Israel and her neighbors (Joel 2, Ezekiel 35, and Isaiah 17 - plus many other passages). In fact, the armies of the world will gather at Jerusalem in the last days to destroy the Jewish state and it is at that time that Jesus Christ comes back to save His chosen people, the Jewish people.

The Financial Times is correct. Israel is the cause of the Middle East conflict and that is based on Bible prophecy - that will be fulfilled.

The Palestinian Authority wants to give control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to the global Islamic community

Listen to Today's Program Play

The Minister of Jerusalem Affairs in the Palestinian Authority(PA) says the PA favors transferring control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to the Organization of Islamic Conference made up of the 57 member states of this global Islamic organization.

The PA would accept the management of the Temple Mount by the Saudi based Organization of Islamic Conference whose 57 member states includes Iran and other Islamic members who have called for Israel to be wiped off the face of the earth. The Israeli government officially has the sovereign control of the old city of Jerusalem which includes the Temple Mount, but Israel has given custodial responsibilities to the PA of this site, the most sacred site in all of Judaism.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The question of control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem will be the major controversy in the Last Days according to Bible prophecy.

For the PA and the Organization of Islamic Conference to even consider taking control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the al Aqsa Mosque as they refer to this site, is beyond imagination in our world today. The Temple Mount is the most sacred piece of real estate in the world to the Jewish people and for the Global Islamic Community to claim sovereign control of this holy site in the heart of the capital city of Israel is considered by the Jewish state to be outrageous.

The ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah wrote 2,500 years ago that what we see happening today would be the case when Jesus Christ returns to the earth to build His Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Zechariah 12:2 says that Jerusalem will be the center of controversy at this time. Zechariah 1:14-16 reveals that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will be aggressively possessive of Jerusalem, He will be angered by the arrogant security of those who think they control the Temple Mount and Jesus will come and build His Temple on this holy site and rule and reign from that Temple forever.

Any claim by the global Islamic community will be set aside. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

More than half of the adults surveyed across the world believe that creationism must be taught alongside the theory of evolution

Listen to Today's Program Play

To mark the anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth and the 150th anniversary of the publication of his work on the Origin of Species, a survey was given to adults in ten countries of the world on 5 continents and the results indicate that more than half of those surveyed believed that creationism must be taught alongside the theory of evolution in the classroom. People were asked which of these origins of man was closest to their own opinion and on average 53% felt that creationism should be taught alongside Darwinism, a result that bothered the head of the Darwin Now program. Dr. Vern Baker said that the debate about Darwinism has been portrayed as very polarizing - science vs. religion.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The debate over the origins of man, Darwinism vs. creationism is a debate that has an interesting connection to the return of Jesus Christ at His Second Coming.

For over 150 years there has been a debate on the origins of man and the leader of the opposition fighting against the Biblical account of Creation, Charles Darwin, has been the center focus in this debate. Darwin's work, The Origins of Man, published 150 years ago, forms the debate as science vs. religion. The world bought into the idea that Darwin had science on his side in the debate. This argument has been disqualified by the reality of the scientific world questioning some of Darwin's theory as just that - a theory on the origins of man not scientific fact.

The Bible speaks to this issue as a significant attitude that will be prevalent at the time of the return of Jesus Christ to the Earth. The Apostle Peter wrote in II Peter 3 that there would be those who deny the return of the Lord Jesus Christ as they also deny the Creation account in Genesis 1 (II Peter 3:3-5). The truth be known, both Creation and the theory of evolution must be taken by faith, but the Biblical account gives us an eyewitness account of the origins of man where God created all things and then gave Moses the account of what happened so that he could record it in the Bible.

The Bible is absolute truth - evidence that Bible prophecy also will be fulfilled.

Pro-Israel Christians are under attack

Listen to Today's Program Play

There is a new film being introduced to the Christian community that states, "God does not take sides with certain people groups, nations, or agendas" and the film is rebutting pro-Israel Christians and trying to persuade them to champion the Palestinian cause.

The film demonstrates a theology that does not favor one people group over another, but instead promotes peace for both Jews and Palestinians.

Critics of the film say that the film maker misuses scripture and wrongly manipulates the facts in the film and never answers many questions including, "How will the dwindling number of Palestinian Christians fair under a victorious new Islamic dominated Palestinian state?"

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

In spite of the fact that a newly released film says that God did not choose the Jews over other people groups and that He does not have an agenda for the Jews, a true study of God's Word says the opposite, according to Bible prophecy.

The new film, "With God on Our Side" produced by film maker Porter Speakman, is an effort to say Christians must not look at the Jews as God's chosen people and that the Lord does not have an agenda for the Jews in the future. The film accuses pro-Israel Christians as having no concern for the poor, that they stand for wars, that they want to be rich and more powerful, and that they have a self-promoting end of times agenda. These are pretty tough claims that have no real basis for being made in this attack on Christians who are pro-Bible and the agenda that God does have for the end times.

Moses wrote under inspiration in Deuteronomy 7:6-8 that God did choose the Jewish people to be a special people unto Himself and He did this because He loved them, not for any other reason. Down through history, God has preserved the Jewish people and used them as an illustration to the rest of humankind. The Lord does have an agenda for the Jews that He revealed in four covenants to them: the Abrahamic Covenant, Genesis 12, the Land Covenant, Deuteronomy 30, the Davidic Covenant, II Samuel 7, and the New Covenant, Jeremiah 31:31.

These promises from God reveal the Jews will be a nation with a piece of land and a Messiah ruling from a Temple in Jerusalem forever.

Israel's foreign minister tells European leaders and world leaders to fix world problems before they tell Israel what to do

Listen to Today's Program Play

At a dinner meeting in Jerusalem between the foreign ministers of France and Spain hosted by Avigdor Lieberman, the Israeli foreign minister, Lieberman told the European leaders to fix Kosovo and the problems in Cyprus before they tell Israel how to fix the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Foreign Minister Lieberman said that world leaders need to also work at solving the problems in Somalia, North Korea, Afghanistan, and the Sudan if they expect the Israelis to take their advice on solving problems. Lieberman reminded the European leaders that Europe sacrificed Czechoslovakia in 1938 when they placated Hitler and that Israel is not going to be the Czechoslovakia of this time period.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

European Union leaders were angered when Israel's foreign minister told them to fix Europe's problems before they tell Israel what to do. This incident is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The hardline foreign minister of Israel, Avigdor Lieberman, was very blunt recently when he told the foreign ministers of France and Spain that Israel might listen to their suggestions to solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict when Europe has fixed their own problems. Lieberman reminded these European Union leaders that Europe destroyed Czechoslovakia in the late 1930's when they placated Adolf Hitler and his Nazi regime and Lieberman added that Israel is not going to be another Czechoslovakia.

The efforts by the European Union to be involved in the Middle East peace process between the Israelis and the Palestinians is in line with the prophetic scenario that can be found in the Bible. Daniel 7:7-24 reveals that the Revived Roman Empire will come to power with a leader that will force a peace on Israel that results in great harm to the Jewish state. The European Union today is at least the infrastructure for the Revived Roman Empire of Daniel's prophecy if not the actual fulfillment of this prophecy. The Revived Roman Empire leader, the Antichrist, I do believe is alive and well on the Earth at this time as well.

Europe's efforts to tell Israel how to resolve their problems is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu calls on the world to stop picking on the Jewish settlers

Listen to Today's Program Play

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has shown support for one of the most viciously maligned populations in the world, the Jews who live in Judea and Samaria, the heart of the Biblical lands of the modern-day state of Israel, a group of people that the prime minister says deserves to live a normal life like everyone else. Netanyahu said one of his most difficult decisions as prime minister was the decision to suspend new construction in Judea and Samaria for the ten month moratorium, a decision that almost brought down his government.

The Israeli prime minister said that this issue of Jewish settlements seems to be the make or break issue in the peace process which has brought the Jewish settlers in Judea and Samaria under unjustified attack for almost half a century.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The issue of construction in the Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria as that issue which may make or break the Middle East peace process is a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu put in place a ten month moratorium on construction in the Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria in order to get the Middle East peace process back on track. The Palestinian Authority, under President Mahmoud Abbas, waited to the month before the moratorium was to be over before he came to the tables for direct talks in the United States and European Union driven peace process. The two sides in this process, the Israelis and the Palestinians, are being very hard lined on the issue of construction in Judea and Samaria with the Israelis saying that they have a right to build and the Palestinians saying no talks if construction continues.

This ongoing debate will either be resolved or the peace process is dead. This scenario, the conflict between the Jews and the Palestinians, was foretold some 2500 years ago by the ancient Jewish prophets. Malachi wrote that the Edomites, the Palestinians of today, would return to rebuild in this land of controversy (Malachi 1). Ezekiel wrote that God promised the land of Judea and Samaria to the Jewish people (Ezekiel 34). Ezekiel also wrote that the Palestinians, Biblical Edomites, that the Palestinians would rise up to take the land from the Jewish people (Ezekiel 35).

The final status on this Israeli-Palestinian conflict was recorded in the prophetic book of Obadiah verses 15 - 18. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Vatican has called for a special conference on the rise of political Islam

Listen to Today's Program Play

172 Catholic bishops from Islamic countries will meet at the Vatican to discuss the ghetto mentality among Middle Eastern Christians and the future of Catholic communities in the Middle East due to the rise of political Islam. The leader of the Chaldean Catholic Church, in Babylon Iraq, said recently that the urgent reasons for this meeting are that Christians are fleeing from the Middle East and extremist Islam is invading the area.

The Catholic Church has pointed to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as the factor behind all unrest in the Middle East, declining to denounce the repression of Christian life in Moslem countries for fear of retaliation.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The rise of political Islam as the reason for the ghetto mentality of Middle Eastern Christians is a precursor to the end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

For a number of years, Christians have been leaving the Islamic countries of the Middle East due to the rise of political Islam and the reported persecution of these non-Moslem peoples. As evidence of this one can look at the demographics of the little town of Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ. Bethlehem was once populated with Palestinians that embraced Christianity with 85% of their population claiming to be Christian - only 15% would say they are Moslem. Today the demographics have changed. Now 85% of Bethlehem's population is Moslem and only 15% Christian. Reports reveal the reason for these demographic changes is the rise of political Islam.

Bible prophecy does reveal a scenario that has the headquarters for the Catholic Church, Rome, Italy, as the location for an end time false religion as revealed in Revelation 17. Since Islam is a religion that will not cooperate with other religiousities in leadership of our world today, one or the other, Islam or pseudo-Christianity must be removed from world dominance which is the scenario that can be found in Ezekiel 38 and 39 where it says that the Islamic nations will be wiped out as they try to destroy the Jewish state of Israel. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Israeli's view President Obama as pro-Arab and one rabbi says the US President is not the Almighty

In a recent public opinion poll taken in Israel, a lop sided plurality of 42% of Israelis viewed President Obama as pro-Arab and only 7% see him as pro-Israel.

Meanwhile, a rabbi who served in the Israeli Knesset, Rabbi Chaim Druckman, says that US President Barack Obama thinks he holds the wheel in his hand and leads the world, but according to the rabbi, the people of Israel deal with the Almighty who leads this world.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Israeli rabbi who says the Almighty, not Barack Obama, leads this world and controls Israel is right on target that is according to Bible prophecy.

For more than a year, US President Obama has been dictating to the Israeli government what must be done in order for the peace process to work and to bring an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. President Obama first addressed the Islamic world from Cairo, Egypt and said that the Israeli Jewish settlements are illegal and must be removed. The recent flap over Jewish building in Jerusalem is the absolute evidence that President Obama wants to control the Israeli government and its prime minister. This motivated one very prestigious Israeli rabbi, Chaim Druckman, to say the obvious, that Barack Obama is not the Almighty and that the Jewish state does not take direction from President Obama but the Jews take their orders from the Almighty.

God's Word, the Bible, does agree with the rabbi that the Almighty is still in charge. God brought the Jews into existence and they are His chosen people, Deuteronomy 7:6-8. God has chosen to dwell among His people, the Jewish people, in Jerusalem and that He will do forever, Psalm 132:13-14.

Today, all of Judaism does not look to the God of the Bible as their leader, however, there is a large segment of Jewish people who believe in the new covenant of Jeremiah 31 which says that the Lord will be their God and the Jewish people, His people, the Almighty's people, and that will happen in the future, Jeremiah 31:31-34.

The Egyptian president warns of global terror if Middle East peace talks fail

Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak has warned several world leaders including Israeli PM Netanyahu that if the Israeli-Palestinian peace process collapses, violence and terrorism will erupt in the Middle East and all around the world.

Mubarak's warning comes on the heels of a similar warning from the Jordanian king, King Abdullah, who said recently that if there is no resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, there will be a major war in the Middle East which could draw the Western nations into this conflict.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The warning from Egyptian President Mubarak that a collapse of the Middle East peace process could bring about global violence and terrorism is in line with the end of times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Egyptian President Mubarak is only one of several Middle Eastern leaders that say a collapse of the Middle East peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians could spark a Middle East war. Jordan's King Abdullah and Syrian President Assad have both warned that the Middle East could erupt into a full blown war if there is not a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Politically, it is looking like these talks are headed toward failure. Prophetically, there will be a peace agreement, howbeit a short-term peace in the Middle East, that will eventually lead to the Middle East erupting into an all out war.

The ancient Jewish prophets wrote 2500 years ago of this end times scenario. Daniel wrote that the Antichrist, a world dictator, will bring about peace which will signal the beginning of seven years of destruction in the Middle East, Daniel 9:27. Daniel, joined by Ezekiel, also wrote that the war will be a Middle East conflict, violence that will include all of the Middle Eastern nations, Ezekiel 38 and Daniel 11.

As it relates to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, again Ezekiel along with Malachi and Obadiah, wrote that the Jews and Palestinians will continue to fight until the Messiah returns to earth, Ezekiel 35, Malachi 1, and the prophetic book of Obadiah.

Middle Eastern leaders are correct, there will be conflict in the future in the Middle East.

A Middle East expert says that the Arab lobby in Washington rules America

The Mufti of Jerusalem says that Israeli control of Hebron, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem could start a religious war

Jerusalem's Mufti Mohammed Hussein, the highest ranking Islamic cleric in Jerusalem, says that Israeli sovereignty over Hebron, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem, three of the most important holy sites in Judaism, could start a religious war.

Hebron is the location of the burial site of the Jewish patriarchs. Bethlehem is where Jacob buried his wife, Rachel and in Jerusalem, the Temple Mount is the holiest site for the Jewish people and the location where Jews want to build a temple in the near future.

The mufti's says Israel's claim to these Jewish holy sites is an attempt to take over the religious sites and Moslems are now in a period of war, not with tanks and rockets, but a religious war.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The statement by the mufti of Jerusalem that Israel's claim to their holy sites is a declaration of a religious war is a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days.

The Israeli government has established a list of heritage sites in Israel, sacred sites that are a part of Jewish history. Included in that list are three locations that the mufti of Jerusalem says will be the cause for a religious war if Israel stands firm on their claims to these sites. The sites include Rachel's tomb in Bethlehem, Rachel being Jacob's wife who died in childbirth, Genesis 35. Genesis 23 is the record of Abraham paying cash money for the Machpelah Cave, the burial site for the patriarchs of the Jewish people: Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. Israel's King David also paid cash money to Ornan the Jebusite for his threshing floor on Mt. Moriah, the site for the two previous Jewish temples in Jerusalem, I Chronicles 21.

The threat of a religious war between the Jews and the Moslems is setting the stage for an end of times conflict between these two peoples. The ancient prophet Joel, in Joel 2:2-3, warned that the largest militia ever formed on the earth will come to Jerusalem to take control of the Jewish holy sites. There is only one group of people today who could form such a militia and also people who want to control Hebron, Bethlehem, and the holy city of Jerusalem, that would be the Moslem people.

The Jerusalem mufti is right. There will be a religious war.
