The world turns against Israel and in favor of the Palestinians

Listen to Today's Program Play

Sixty-five years to the date after the UN voted the petition of mandatory Palestine, a move the Jews accepted and the Palestinians rejected, the UN voted overwhelmingly to grant the Palestinian delegation the upgraded status of non-member observer state.

Prime Minister Netanyahu responded to the UN vote saying it was illegal since there was not a state of Palestine that even qualifies to be a state with defined borders and a legitimate government of all the people and that the UN vote changes nothing on the ground in Israel except the conflict.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The UN vote to grant the Palestinians state status in an historic vote is simply setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

With the non-aligned member states of the UN and the EU member states, the UN General Assembly overwhelmingly voted the Palestinian delegation an upgrade status at the UN that gives the Palestinians a claim to statehood. PA PM Mahmoud Abbas when addressing the UN General Assembly said he was there to allow the UN to issue a birth certificate for the state of Palestine. By making that statement, Abbas admitted there never has been a Palestinian state. This UN vote has only enhanced the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and has basically negated any peace process that might have brought resolution to this conflict.

Twenty-five hundred years ago, a number of ancient Jewish prophets foretold of a time in history when this type of scenario would be in place in our world. In fact, this scenario has never been just as it is today which is evidence we are quickly approaching the time that the prophets we're talking about. Malachi revealed that the Palestinian people, the descendants of Esau would try to rebuild their nation, Malachi 1:3. In that same passage, Malachi reports that the Lord will call their borders the borders of wickedness. Ezekiel said that God will judge the Palestinians because they kill the Jews and take their land, Ezekiel 35:5, 10. Actually, the resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict will only come when the Messiah returns to the earth, Obadiah 18.

The UN vote did indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The Palestinian people petition the UN for state status on the same day, November 29th as Israel did in 1947

Listen to Today's Program Play

In a symbolic move by the President of the PA, Mahmoud Abbas, petitioned the UN General Assembly for an upgrade in status for the Palestinian people on November 29th, the same date in 1947 when the UN approved the resolution that allowed the Jewish people to have their own modern-day state of Israel.

Less than a year later, the state of Israel was a reality with about 500000 Jews from around the world forming the Jewish state and once again being a nation among all the nations of the world.

In an effort to form a Palestinian state in what is a part of Israel and with a portion of the city of Jerusalem as its capital city, PA President Abbas has petitioned the UN General Assembly to approve their upgrade to a state status which will only intensify the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Palestinian petition at the UN to give the PA a state status at the General Assembly is a precursor to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

The PA led by Mahmoud Abbas has for years claimed that the Israeli people had stolen their state and replaced it with a Jewish state. The Palestinian petition at the UN General Assembly for state status among this international governmental organization is an admission that there never was a Palestinian state as history has recorded. Palestine is not a real state since it has no defined borders and is without a legitimate government in place.

The ancient Jewish prophet Malachi wrote 2500 years ago of how the Palestinian people, the Edomites of biblical time, those who were descendants of Esau, would return to the land that God has given the Jewish people through Jacob, Genesis 37:1 and that these Palestinians would endeavor to rebuild. Malachi reveals that God would call the Palestinian borders the borders of wickedness, Malachi 1:4. In that same verse, God said He will have indignation against the Palestinian people forever. Ezekiel 35:5, 10 foretell of the judgment on the Palestinian people because they kill the Jews and endeavor to take their land. Obadiah says that God will destroy the Palestinians as if they have never been.

The Palestinian petition at the UN is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The last Jews in Ethiopia prepare for a trip to the promised land

Listen to Today's Program Play

The last 2000 Ethiopian Jews are preparing to immigrate to Israel which will mark the first and only time an entire country's Jewish population will leave their homeland and travel to the land of their forefathers, traveling to what they claim to be God-given land.

Operation Moses in 1985, when as many as 20000 Ethiopian Jews left for Israel, many of them by foot through Sudan saw the first immigration of these Jews of Ethiopia to the Jewish state of Israel.

In May of 1991, 15000 Ethiopian Jews were crowded into a series of non stop air flights over a 36 hour period of time into Israel in what was called Operation Solomon - most likely the greatest airlift in history.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

As 2000 Ethiopian Jews prepare to travel to the Jewish state of Israel the last chapter for these Jews will be completed and will result in the fulfillment of Bible prophecy for the last days.

In 1985, 20000 Jews from Ethiopia made their way, many by foot to Israel and fulfilled their obligation as a Jew to return home to the land of their forefathers during what was called Operation Moses. In May of 1991 a special airlift called Operation Solomon brought 15000 Ethiopian Jews to Israel. Now, the last of the Ethiopian-Jewish community is preparing to travel to Israel as well.

The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel foretold of a time when the Lord would bring all Jews from the four corners of the earth back to the homeland, the land of the Jewish forefathers, Ezekiel 34. In fact, another Jewish prophet, Zephaniah wrote 2500 years ago that the Lord would bring the Ethiopian Jews back home as well, Zephaniah 3:10. The return of the Ethiopian Jews is only part of the entire Jewish world coming back to Israel and establishing a Jewish state which is foretold in Ezekiel 37:7-8. Out of 108 nations of the world over the last 100 years Jews have been coming home and the remaining Jewish worldwide community will do the very same thing in the near future.

Operation Moses in 1985, Operation Solomon in 1991, and this next and last immigration of Ethiopian Jews to Israel is indeed a fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

Oscar winning actor calls President Obama "Our Lord and Savior"

Listen to Today's Program Play

In a recent television broadcast on the BET cable network the Oscar-winning actor, Jamie Foxx referred to President Barack Obama as "Our Lord and Savior", a statement following "Praise to God" and while in the context replaced the Son of God, Jesus Christ by the re-elected President Obama.

The website, Newsbusters reported this statement by Jamie Foxx using a video from one of the video presentation websites that was later taken down only to be replaced by the same video from Media Research Center.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The statement that President Obama is the Lord and Savior made recently by Jamie Foxx an Oscar-winning actor is not only blasphemous, but is also setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Being a famous Hollywood actor with many honors does not give that person the right to blaspheme the Son of God, Jesus Christ. The Oscar-winning actor, Jamie Foxx, at a television special award night first called on the crowd to give honor to God and then he added, "and our Lord and Savior, Barack Obama". This blasphemous act was cheered by the large crowd attending the award presentation even with a standing ovation. The statement by Foxx also is evidence that the end of times scenario found in God's Word is quickly approaching its total fulfillment. I do not know the heart of Jamie Foxx, I do know what he said, which is blasphemy and foretold in the Bible.

In Revelation 13, a passage with detailed information about the Antichrist, John the Apostle reveals that blasphemy against Jesus Christ will be prevalent at the time of judgment, the seven year Tribulation Period, Revelation 13:1, 5, 6. In I John 2:18, the author of the book of Revelation, John also wrote that the Antichrist will come and in I John 4:3 he said the spirit of Antichrist is even now in the world. There are many other signs in our world today that indicate the Antichrist is about to appear, evidence like deception through signs, wonders, and miracles as foretold in Matthew 24:24.

The blasphemous statement by Jamie Foxx that President Obama is the Lord and Savior indeed is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The rabbi of the Western Wall in Jerusalem refutes the PA president and says that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish people

Listen to Today's Program Play

The rabbi of the Western Wall at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz issued an unprecedented attack against the Palestinian Authority(PA) President Mahmoud Abbas following the statements by Abbas that Jerusalem will forever be Arabic, Islamic, and Christian.

Abbas made his comments at the 43rd anniversary of an Australian activist who attempted to set fire to al-Aqsa Mosque in an attack that only destroyed a pulpit that was installed by the famous Islamic leader Saladin.

The rabbi said that ancient coins, a wall built by Nehemiah, the prayers and hymns of people across the world, and the ancient Jewish prophets confirm the Jewishness of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount and its future.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A denial of the Jewishness of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount by a Palestinian leader which has been refuted by the rabbi of the Western Wall is a precursor to the end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

PA President Mahmoud Abbas has rejected the Jewishness of the city of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount and has denied the presence of a Jewish Temple in the holy city throughout history. Abbas is in the face of all of history, even Islamic history that states the reality of a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem for hundreds of years. The rabbi responsible for the care and worship at the Western Wall Plaza area which includes the Temple Mount has rebuked the PA leader and said that evil spirits cannot appropriate for themselves and their faith, i.e. the Muslims and the Islamic faith, this sacred piece of real estate.

The Muslims claim that the Temple Mount, al-Aqsa as they refer to the site, will be the headquarters of their worldwide kingdom, a caliphate. The rabbi quoted from Isaiah 2:2-3 that the mountain of the Lord, the Temple Mount, shall be established as the location for the Messiah to rule and reign from in the last days. Micah 4:2, a similar prophecy, states that the word of the Lord will go forth from this Temple Mount to teach the world of peace. Zechariah 6:12-13 confirms a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem and that the Messiah, Jesus Christ will not only build that Temple but rule and reign from that Temple forever.

PA President Mahmoud Abbas is incorrect. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

A terrorist group has warned Israel: Harm al-Aqsa Mosque and we will open the 'Gates of Hell'

Listen to Today's Program Play

The popular resistance, one of a number of Palestinian terror groups in the Middle East has threatened Israel that if there is any harm to al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem they will open the 'Gates of Hell' against the Zionist enemy.

The terrorist group said that the Islamic nations have started waking up and are ready to meet their religious commitments towards Palestine and al-Aqsa. The former Mufti of Jerusalem, Sheikh Sabri, says even the Western Wall is not Jewish but belongs to the Muslims and any attack by the Jews on the al-Aqsa Mosque will endanger the safety and stability of the entire Middle Eastern region.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A threat by a Palestinian terror group that if the Jews harm the al-Aqsa Mosque, they will open the 'Gates of Hell' against them is a page out of Bible prophecy for the end of times.

For over 1300 years the Temple Mount in Jerusalem has been a focus of the Islamic world. Though it is the third holiest site in Islam after Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, Jerusalem is an honored site that the Muslims want as the location for their worldwide kingdom, a caliphate. However, the Palestinian terror group is warning they will open the 'Gates of Hell' against anyone who harms al-Aqsa. Muslims could put millions of martyrs on the Temple Mount to fight off any Jewish effort to remove al-Aqsa so they can construct a Jewish Temple on the site.

This scenario is foretold in Bible prophecy and will be played out in the future. Zechariah 12:2 reveals that the Temple Mount will be at the center of controversy in the last days. Malachi 1 reports that descendants of Esau, the Palestinian people of today, will try and rebuild their national power base in Jerusalem. Ezekiel 35:5, 10 speak of a time when the Palestinians will kill the Jews and take the land, i.e. the Temple Mount, that God has given to the Jewish people. Obadiah 18 foretells of the Jews defeating the Palestinians when the Messiah, Jesus Christ returns to Jerusalem.

Jesus Christ will build a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount, Zechariah 1:16 and no Palestinian terror group will open the 'Gates of Hell'.

Thanksgiving Day is evidence that the US government and the Bible can work in harmony

Listen to Today's Program Play

The United States of America stops today to give thanks for all the blessings and freedoms that we have and this day is a special day set aside by the US government to do exactly what the Bible calls for us all to do, give thanks in all things.

Families will gather for the traditional Thanksgiving dinner of turkey and dressing, the young men and even some of us old guys will break out in the annual game of touch football and the ladies, well they'll be there to cheer us on, and in fact heal up any of the bruises sustained in the afternoon free-for-all. Those of us with loved ones on a far away battlefield will thank God for their protection and ask God for their safe return to the family circle for next Thanksgiving: and all of this on a day of thanksgiving required by the Bible and set aside by decree of our own government.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Today is a day set aside for all of us to be thankful, but as we move closer to the time of the return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, our world will become more and more unthankful, that is according to Bible prophecy. The principle of thanksgiving: there are over 100 locations in the Bible where the scriptures speak of thanks and thanksgiving. We are told to give thanks in all things for it is the will of God in Christ Jesus, I Thessalonians 5:18.

The product of thanksgiving: interestingly when we stop to give thanks, the end result is to our own personal benefit. Paul, an apostle, in a letter that he wrote to the Philippians, states that giving thanks brings us true joy. Paul also wrote the people in Colosse that giving thanks helps us to abound in the faith, a faith that is needed for all of life Colossians 2:7.

The prophecy of unthankfulness: as we approach the time of the Second Coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, Paul reminded us that he wrote a letter to Timothy to tell him that people would be unthankful at that time, II Timothy 3:2.

Unthankfulness is one of the major signs of the last days and as those days approach we need to be looking up in anticipation of His coming, but also in thanksgiving as well. Remember on this day of thanksgiving, unthankfulness is an indicator, a trend, a sign of the judgment that is coming, that is according to Bible prophecy.

Israeli PM Netanyahu tells newly arriving Jewish immigrants that they are the protectors of the Jewish future

Listen to Today's Program Play

Recently, a planeload of over 350 Jewish immigrants arrived in Israel to be welcomed by the prime minister who told these Jews they would be the protectors of the future for the Jewish people and actually the Jewish state of Israel.

The Chairman of the Jewish Agency, Natan Sharonsky, himself an immigrant from Russia, said it was tremendously moving to see hundreds of new immigrants disembarking from the plane to become Israelis who will strengthen the future of Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Hundreds of new Jewish immigrants arriving in Israel recently were welcomed by the prime minister and told they are the protectors of the future for the Jews, a statement that can be confirmed by Bible prophecy.

The modern day state of Israel is made up of Jews from 108 nations of the world that arrived in Israel over the last 100 years who have returned to the land of their forefathers. The establishment of the Jewish state after 2000 years without a structured nation of people in their homeland has been applauded by many world leaders. In fact, most of these leaders believe it was a miracle to see a people scattered across the world come together to form a modern day state. However at the same time, in the Middle East there has risen a group of nations, the Arab nations that reject the right of the Jews to have a state in the land of their forefathers. Israeli PM Netanyahu was correct when he greeted these new immigrants with the statement that they will be the protectors of the future for the Jewish people and the Jewish state.

Bible prophecy actually does confirm the prime minister's statement. The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel foretold of a day when Jews would be gathered from all over the world back into the land of their forefathers, Ezekiel 37:7 and 34. Ezekiel 37:8 says that not only would the Jews return to their land, but they would be restored as a nation in that land in the last days. Ezekiel 35 reveals that the Palestinian people would rise up to kill numbers of those returning Jews and try to take their God-given land. Ezekiel 38 tells of a coalition of nations that will try and wipe the Jewish state off of the map.

As Prime Minister Netanyahu said to those returning Jews to Israel, they will indeed play a role in Israel's future.

A Palestinian leader calls for the Arab world to rise up and stop Israel from Judaizing the city of Jerusalem

Listen to Today's Program Play
The PM of Hamas, an Islamic terror organization located in the Gaza Strip, has made an urgent call for the international Arab and Muslim world to stop what he called Israel's Judaization of Jerusalem and all the attacks by the Jewish state on the Muslim community in Israel.

Ismail Haniyeh, the Hamas PM, during a recent visit to Cairo, Egypt slammed Israel for the ethnic cleansing of Jerusalem and a campaign against Muslim symbols.

The Hamas PM says Jerusalem is the future capital of a Palestinian state and the Muslim world must do whatever is necessary to stop the Judaization of Jerusalem by the Israelis.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A call for the Arab and Muslim world to stop the Judaization of Jerusalem is a declaration of war according to Bible prophecy.

A center focus of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the final status of the city of Jerusalem. The Israelis say Jerusalem is their undivided, eternal capital and there can be no compromise on the issue. Meanwhile, the Palestinians claim that Jerusalem will be the capital of the Palestinian state that will come about either through diplomatic maneuvers or as a result of an armed struggle. A recent call by the Hamas PM Haniyeh for the Arab and Muslim world to rise up and use all means available to stop the Israelis from Judaizing Jerusalem is in essence a declaration of war.

According to the ancient Jewish prophets, the city of Jerusalem will in fact belong to the Jewish people and it will belong to them forever. Zechariah wrote 2500 years ago that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will return to Jerusalem, Zechariah 1:16, and build His Temple, Zechariah 6:12, where He will rule and reign forever, Zechariah 6:13. The Jewish King David was given a promise, II Samuel 7, the Davidic Covenant, a promise that there would be a Jewish temple in Jerusalem for one of his sons to rule from in the Jewish Kingdom forever. In fact, God said that He had selected Jerusalem as the location where He would dwell among His people, the Jewish people, forever.

The Judaization of Jerusalem is an absolute.

A UN resolution approved over 60 years ago could have resolved the Israeli-Palestinian conflict but the Palestinians rejected it

Listen to Today's Program Play

In February of 1947, Great Britain, which had control of the area of the Middle East that includes modern day Jordan and Israel and the areas claimed today by the Palestinians, decided to turn the issue over to the UN which then decided to establish two states at that time, one for the Palestinians and one for the Jews.

The Palestinian rejection of the UN resolution was not only political, but they launched a large scale terrorist campaign against the Jewish people followed by an invasion of Israel by five Arab armies to destroy Israel when it declared its independence in May of 1948.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The rejection of a UN resolution to establish the states of Palestine and Israel in the Middle East in 1947 set the stage for the present day conflict as well as the end of times scenario for these two peoples that can be found in Bible prophecy.

The UN Resolution 181 passed on November 29, 1947 by a large majority of the member states of the General Assembly set in place the establishment of two new states in the Middle East, Israel and Palestine. By direct order of the Palestinian leaders, the elderly, women and children of the Palestinian people fled the area as the militant Palestinians moved to annihilate the Jews so there would be only one new state, Palestine.

This report of the beginnings of the present day Israeli-Palestinian conflict is also the evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled. The descendants of Esau, the Palestinians of today, vowed that they would return and rebuild in what they claimed to be their land which is modern day Israel, Malachi 1:4. The ancient prophet Ezekiel wrote in Ezekiel 35 that these Palestinians would kill the Jews, verse 5, and take their land, verse 10. Obadiah, another Jewish prophet, reveals that the resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will only come about when the Messiah, Jesus Christ, returns to earth, Obadiah 15-18.

Palestinian rejection of the UN partition plan did indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

A Jewish rabbi in Jerusalem is calling for Jews to stop praying at the Western Wall

Listen to Today's Program Play

Rabbi Yehuda Glick, of an organization called "The Movement for the Establishment of the Temple", says that the Jewish people have become psychologically connected, over the centuries, to the Western Wall of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem because the rebuilding of the temple seems like an impossible task. Rabbi Glick says that about 25 years ago Jews started to ascend to the Temple Mount even though it was a very small group but now hundreds are now on a regular basis going up on to the Temple Mount to offer their prayers.

The rabbi is now calling for Jews to unite and make every effort to go on to this sacred location for every Jew, the Temple Mount, and become focused on the rebuilding of the next temple in Jerusalem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The call by a rabbi in Jerusalem to ascend to the Temple Mount in preparation for the next Jewish temple on this sacred site, is the next step to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

Rabbi Yehuda Glick for a number of years directed the efforts of the Temple Institute to prepare for the building of the next Jewish temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Temple Institute has all the implements needed to operate the temple including the knowledge of the location of the Ark of the Covenant. All 28,000 priests, to be used in the next temple, have been trained and even their priestly garments are either made or being made right now.

However, Rabbi Glick now believes it is time to prepare the Jewish people to become accustomed to ascending the Temple Mount, not only for learning and prayer, but to be involved in the Temple practices as well. That's why he says no more prayers at the Western Wall but instead, let's go up on to the Temple Mount.

God's prophetic Word does say that in the last days the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will return to build the temple on the Temple Mount (Zechariah 1:16, 6:12). That temple built by the Messiah will be His kingdom temple where He reigns for 1000 years. However, before the Messiah's temple is built on the Temple Mount there will be a Tribulation temple (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1).

Jews ascending onto the Temple Mount today are actually setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Palestinians celebrate the anniversary of their declaration of independence

Listen to Today's Program Play

In 1988, the leader of the PLO, Yasser Arafat, declared Palestinian independence at the and of the 19th Palestinian national council meeting and immediately assumed the title of president.

This declaration which has been recognized by over 100 countries does not describe the borders of the state of Palestine but it does identify its capital as Jerusalem.

Since this declaration by Arafat, the Palestinian people have been raging an armed struggle in an effort to establish their state and to ensure that Jerusalem will be the Palestinian capital for this state of Palestine.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

As the Palestinians celebrate the 24th anniversary of their declaration of independence by Yasser Arafat, this celebration is actually setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

In 1988 when Yasser Arafat announced to the world the Palestinian declaration of independence, over 100 countries agreed and recognized this state of Palestine without defined borders. Since that declaration, there have been negotiations between the Palestinians and the Israelis with no noticeable change in the situation.

World leaders have weighed in on this effort to bring resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict but in fact, the conflict has only intensified. Today, with the peace negotiations on hold and the Palestinian leadership seeking recognition of Palestinian statehood, there seems to be no possible resolution in sight; however, the stage is being set for the prophetic scenario found in Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The ancient Jewish prophets spoke to this Israeli-Palestinian conflict 2500 years ago. Malachi 1 reveals the return of the Edomites, the Palestinian people of today, who will return and set up their borders of Palestine to be recognized, which Malachi says that the Lord will call the borders of wickedness. Ezekiel 35 says that God will judge the Edomites, the Palestinians, for killing Jews and taking their land, Ezekiel 35:5, 10. Obadiah foretells of the end of times when the Messiah comes back to the earth, that's when Jesus will reward the Jewish people and destroy the Edomites, the Palestinian people of today.

Iran's president believes that the Mahdi, the Muslim Messiah, is coming very soon

Listen to Today's Program Play

Iranian President Ahmadinejad is a Shiite Muslim that believes that the Mahdi, the Muslim Messiah, is coming into this world very soon and that Messiah will be the twelfth Imam who comes as the final Imam and the savior of the world.  Ahmadinejad believes that he is the forerunner of the Mahdi, the twelfth Imam, and the Moslem Messiah will come to this earth following a catastrophic event, and event like a nuclear attack on the Jewish state of Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Islamic eschatology states that the Mahdi, the Muslim Messiah, is coming and it could be very soon which has an interesting correlation with the soon coming of the true Messiah as foretold in Bible prophecy.

The Islamic faith has an eschatology, that's the study of the end times, and this eschatology has the Muslim Messiah, the Mahdi, appearing on the world scene to be the final savior of mankind.  The Shiite Muslims believe that the twelfth Imam gone from this world for hundreds of years will reappear and come out of Iran.  The Iranian President Ahmadinejad believes that he is the forerunner of the Mahdi and if he can cause a catastrophic event to happen, like a nuclear attack on Israel, that the Mahdi will appear and in fact will appear in the very near future.

About 85% of the entire Shiite Muslim world agrees with Ahmadinejad and they believe the Muslim Messiah will come to this world to set the world in order for the caliphate.  Now the caliphate is a worldwide Islamic kingdom which will also be put in place by the Mahdi.

The ancient Jewish prophets, the true spokesmen for the true God of the Bible wrote how this would all play out.  Zechariah wrote of the return of Jesus Christ, the true Messiah, to the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:4).  John wrote in Revelation 19 that this Messiah would return after the seven year Tribulation period where judgment will have been unleashed on the earth and earth dwellers.  When Jesus returns He will build a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem where He will rule and reign forever (Zechariah 1:16, Zechariah 6:12-13).

Muslim eschatology has the Mahdi, the Muslim Messiah, coming back in the near future.  But the truth be known, the true Messiah Jesus Christ will come in the near future.  Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

A recent survey reveals that 70% of Israeli Jews believe they are God's chosen people

Listen to Today's Program Play

The latest survey of the beliefs and values among Israeli Jews, the first comprehensive study in more than a decade, reveals that 80% of Israeli Jews believe that God exists and some 70% of these Jews surveyed believed the Jews are the chosen people, a statement that can be found in the Bible.  The authors of this study believe the demographic changes in Israel caused by the higher birthrates among the orthodox and the ultra-orthodox Jews has resulted in the uptick of Jewish attachment to Biblical truth with a majority of all Israeli Jews believing in the coming Jewish Messiah.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
A recent survey made among Israeli Jews reveals that Jews believe they are God's chosen people, a fact that the Bible stated more than 4000 years ago but a fact that means God does have a plan for the Jewish people in the future - that is according to Bible prophecy.
Over the last decade, Jews living in Israel have become much more religious, an interesting fact in light of God's plan for the Jewish people in the future.  A recent survey indicates that 70% of all Israeli Jews believe in God and 55% of those surveyed say they believe in the coming of their Messiah.  Fully 80% of Israeli Jews believe that God does indeed exist, the highest figure in more than two decades, a trend that will take place as the world moves into the prophetic events found in Bible prophecy.
The ancient Jewish prophecy Ezekiel prewrote history as he spoke of the regathering of the Jewish people from the four corners of the earth, the restoration of a Jewish state and a Jewish community in Israel that though in unbelief, there will be an increase in a desire to see their Messiah and to become the people of God, the chosen people (Ezekiel 37:7-11 and Ezekiel 34:11-30).  God does have a plan for the Jewish people and this plan is focused on the land of Israel, a land promised to the Jewish people by God Himself (Ezekiel 36, Deuteronomy 30).  The future for the Jews not only in Israel but around the entire world is in the hands of God and its found in the pages of His Word the Bible.
With this increase of the knowledge of God's plan for the Jewish people, this plan will indeed come to pass.  Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The World Health Organization says that 50% of all abortions in this world are dangerous

Listen to Today's Program Play

A recent report by the World Health Organization says that abortions worldwide are putting women's health at risk with one half of all abortions unsafe, even dangerous, and abortion is one of the main reasons for maternal death worldwide.  This data reveals that women who wish to terminate unwanted pregnancies will seek abortion at any cost and thus these women will continue to die in significant numbers.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The number of maternal deaths related to unsafe abortion is on the increase, a disturbing statistic for the World Health Organization but it's blasphemy according to the Bible and abortion is a precursor to the end of times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

WHO, World Health Organization, in a recent report, revealed the increase in maternal deaths, a result of unsafe abortions.  They say now 50% of all worldwide abortions are unsafe and a major cause for these maternal deaths.  This number goes as high as 95% in Latin American countries and 97% in Africa.  However, what about the death rate among the children that are aborted.  That would be at 100% of all abortions of unwanted pregnancies end in death to the babies - and that's the real sin.

Abortion is very dangerous for all unborn children, and I say children because life does not begin at birth.  In fact, it does not begin at conception.  Life begins in the mind of God in eternity past.  In Jeremiah 1:5, the Lord told Jeremiah that he had been chosen to be the prophet to the nations of the world not at birth, not even at conception, but Jeremiah was chosen before he was formed in his mother's womb in eternity past.  All of life began in the mind of God before the creation of the world.

Abortion is murder according to Exodus 21:22-23.  If someone takes another life, Genesis 9:6, then they must give their life in return.  That's capital punishment which is called for in the Bible.  Abortion is most dangerous for the unborn with a 100% mortality rate and murders through abortions will increase in the last days (Revelation 22:15).

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Christians in America are searching for answers as a result of the outcome of the recent presidential elections

Listen to Today's Program Play

The votes have been cast and counted, the results are in, and President Obama has been reelected to serve as the leader of the free world and the US for another four years. Even the conservative political pundits were wrong in their predictions that Mitt Romney would be the next President of the US and now they are trying to figure out what went wrong.

In addition, there are those who are not only questioning what happened, but also concerned with a leadership in America that has a world view and a political philosophy contrary to theirs and, in their opinion, contrary to a biblical philosophy of governing a people in a nation.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

God put human government in place to direct human kind in its daily lifestyle but also to reveal the end of times scenario that will result in the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

For the last several years, we have been bombarded with political advertisements that have endeavored to persuade each of us how to cast our vote for one of the candidates for each of those political slots opened and needing to be filled. The presidential elections were the main focus of the media and those irritating political announcements. Now, with the votes cast and counted, the results are in to the pleasure of some and the dismay of others. President Obama has been reelected.

As Christians, many of us have questions as to how it happened. Mitt Romney lost and Barack Obama won. I am not going to analyze the results, but I do want to remind each of us of the biblical response that we must have as we look into the future. God instituted human government, Genesis 9:6. God has used human government down through history and will continue to do so today and into the future, Revelation 17:17. Every world leader will make decisions that will help to set the stage for God's prophetic plan to be fulfilled. We can rest in the Lord, He is still in charge, Romans 13:1.

Political leaders will indeed help set the stage for prophetic passages in God's Word to be fulfilled.

European and Middle Eastern leaders are excited about President Obama's reelection

Listen to Today's Program Play

Initial reaction to the reelection of President Obama among the European political leaders indicates they are mostly positive about four more with President Obama at the helm in the US.

Most of the Arab leaders agree that President Obama is a better fit than a Romney presidency and these Muslim political officials look forward to the US-Arab relationships becoming even better than Obama's first four years.

The Palestinians say their bid at the UN for statehood and the restart of a peace process with the Jewish state of Israel looks better for the Palestinian goals under an Obama administration rather than a president Romney in the White House for the next four years.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

European and Middle Eastern political leaders are cautiously optimistic with the reelection of President Obama but reality points to the setting of the stage for the end of times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

United States citizens, at least those who chose to exercise their franchise to vote this last presidential election, decided to return President Obama to the White House for four more years. This reelection of President Obama has received rave reviews from European and Middle Eastern political leaders. European leaders who basically embrace the same political philosophy as President Obama see this reelection as an opportunity to advance their political agenda. Arab and Muslim leaders await the Obama administration's acceptance of the Muslim agenda to move those nations touched by the Arab Spring into the establishment of an Islamic world more in line with shariah, the Islamic law, as the law of each of their nations.

This whole scenario is like reading from the prophetic passages of Bible prophecy. Europe and the EU are at least the infrastructure for the revived Roman Empire as foretold in Daniel 2 and 7 when in Daniel 2 it talks about the ten toes and in Daniel 7, the ten horns. An Islamic based government in the 23 Arab states and the Muslim states of the Middle East prepare this region for the future described in Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38, and Psalm 83.

God has used human government to fulfill Bible prophecy in the past and He will do so as well in the future.

A conversation using the Hebrew language in 1891 set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled

Listen to Today's Program Play

In a Paris cafe in 1881, a group met to have a conversation, a conversation using the Hebrew language and it may have been the first modern conversation in Hebrew in some 2000 years.

Eliezer Ben Yehuda was one of the group speaking in Hebrew and Ben Yehuda would use this conversation to launch an effort to revive the Hebrew language as a spoken language a language that would become the mother tongue of the Israeli people today.

Ben Yehuda would during his lifetime establish an institution which would create new Hebrew words for today's society and give the Jewish people the language of their forefathers that is a spoken language once again in our world.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The revival of the Hebrew language, the mother tongue of Israelis today, is evidence that Bible prophecy is being fulfilled.

Eliezer Ben Yehuda, a European Jew in the late 1800's who immigrated to Israel to raise his family would become the man credited with reviving the ancient Hebrew language. For almost 2000 years, Hebrew was not a spoken language with the exception of a few phrases used in religious activities. Ben Yehuda, starting with a conversation with friends in Paris, France developed a modern day usage of the language of the Jewish people for the first 2000 years of their existence.

Modern day Hebrew is made up of Biblical Hebrew which is 80% of modern day Hebrew and 20% of new Hebrew words that have been created over the last 130 years. Ben Yehuda put together the first Hebrew dictionary for modern Hebrew and developed the way to teach the language which is called "Ulpan". This account of how Hebrew was revived for usage today is an evidence of how Bible prophecy is being fulfilled today.

Jeremiah, an ancient Jewish prophet wrote 2500 years ago that when the Jews would return to the land of their forefathers, Jeremiah 31:8-17, the Lord would give them back the language of their forefathers, the language they would use to bless the Lord, Jeremiah 31:23. Another Jewish prophet, Zephaniah, also predicted that the pure language of Hebrew would be revived in the last days, Zephaniah 3:9.

Israelis speaking Hebrew today proves that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Millions of Americans will vote today in one of the most important US elections

Listen to Today's Program Play

Americans are voting today in one of the most historic elections in US history. Democrat Barack Obama could be reelected to a second term. Republican Mitt Romney could become the first Mormon President elected in America.

Polling places across America are packed with eager voters waiting to cast their vote for the next leader of the free world, President of the US. These voters are willing to stand in lines for hours if need be to exercise their franchise to vote in this presidential election. People around the world are watching these US elections to see which way America will go and world leaders are eager to see who will be the next leader of the free world as well.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The man elected President of the US will play a key role in the prophetic scenario that is found in Bible prophecy.

After almost three years of campaigning, the presidential elections in the US are about to be completed. Hundreds and millions of dollars have been spent to promote and, or denounce one candidate or the other in this period of historic spending in this presidential election. It is expected that at the end of election day, a record number of people will have cast their votes for their choice for president. This process, the election of the American leader to take the US into the future, is a part of God's plan to lead the world into His plan for the future as found in Bible prophecy.

God instituted human government 4,500 years ago as recorded in Genesis 9:6. God instructs Bible-believing Christians to be obedient to those elected and He reminds all of us that He, God is the One who puts people in their political positions, Romans 13:1. The Lord reveals in Revelation 17:17 that He will use world leaders to have His will played out in the Last Days. God's Word also calls for Christians to pray for all of those who are in positions of authority - as is our president, I Timothy 2:1-4.

The US Presidential election will indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

European leaders await the new American president in a time of financial crisis

Listen to Today's Program Play

Leaders in the European Union and in fact all of Europe await the new United States president because Europeans know that the winner will significantly shape United States - European Union relations at a time of the deteriorating global financial crisis.

US elections are watched closely on the other side of the Atlantic for their enormous impact especially at a time when Europe needs America to help tailor a global reform of the financial sector. European leaders say that the transatlantic agenda will be dominated by the global financial crisis and the poor economic prospects for both continents.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The United States presidential election this year will have a major impact on Europe, the Middle East, and, in fact, the entire world - not only politically but prophetically as well.

Millions of American citizens will go to the polls in this presidential election year to cast a vote for the man they desire to lead the United States into the next four years. The results of this election for president will indeed impact our world.

With the financial crisis worldwide, the next United States leader will make decisions that the European leaders hope will move the world toward a global financial structure to bring the world out of the crisis and set the financial world on a solid foundation - at least that is the hope of European leaders. Middle Eastern leaders watch closely as well realizing that the man in the White House does indeed impact the volatile Middle East.

Let me share several prophetic thoughts with you. Bible prophecy speaks of how the financial structure of this world will be controlled by a world leader, a one world leader, the Antichrist from his headquarters in Babylon, the modern-day state of Iraq. These are prophecies that are found in Revelation 13 and 18. The conflict in the Middle East will also be center stage in the last days (Ezekiel 38, Daniel 11, Psalm 83, Obadiah, Malachi 1, and many other passages).

The world indeed will be impacted by this next United States presidency. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The US State Department slams the Israeli government for not allowing Jewish worshipers to pray on the Temple Mount

Listen to Today's Program Play

The annual report on religious freedom issued by the US State Department has slammed the Israeli government for limiting the rights of Jewish worshipers on the Temple Mount and at the same time giving Muslims complete freedom to worship any way they want on this sacred site.

Israel's official policy is to allow freedom of religion and worship for all, but the Israeli police prevent Jews from praying on Judaism's holiest site, the Temple Mount. The Israeli government has claimed  the reason for restricting non-Muslims, i.e. Christians and Jews from praying on the Temple Mount is due to the possibility of an Islamic reaction that could cause a major war.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

An annual report on religious freedom issued by the US State Department slamming the Israeli government for restricting Jews and Christians from praying on the Temple Mount is actually setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The most recent report on religious freedom around the world issued by the US State Department has slammed the Israeli government for not allowing freedom of religion and worship on the Temple Mount for both Jews and Christians. Israeli policy today is to limit the time that non-Muslims are allowed to even visit the Temple Mount and there is to be no prayer offered on this sacred site by non-Muslims. At the same time, the Israelis allow the Muslim worshipers on the Temple Mount complete freedom. Religious Jews are praying that this state department report will force the Israeli government to relax restrictions for Jewish and Christian worshipers on the Temple Mount.

According to the ancient Jewish prophets there will be total freedom of worship for Jews and Christians on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and possibly in the very near future. Zechariah says that the Messiah, Jesus Christ will return to Jerusalem and build His Temple on the Temple Mount, Zechariah 1:16 and 6:12. Isaiah foretold of a time when all worshipers would go up to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to learn as the Messiah teaches from this sacred site, Isaiah 2:4. Micah, another Jewish prophet said that the word of the Lord will go forth into all the world from the Temple Mount, Micah 4:2.

The future of the Temple Mount is as the ancient Jewish prophets foretell.

An Egyptian Muslim cleric says people have a thirst for the blood of the Jewish people

Listen to Today's Program Play

Seen recently on Hamas Al Aqsa television in a sermon by the Egyptian Muslim cleric Salah Sultan, the Islamist said that as he traveled across the world he met people who thirsted for the blood of Jews and they are eager for the promised war against the sons of Zion, the Jewish people.

Sultan also said under the previous Egyptian regime over 30,000 Zionists entered Egypt every month and they defiled the land of the Islamist Egyptians.

In the past, Sultan had accused the Jews of making Passover matzahs from the blood of Christian children and has called for the murder of every Zionist who enters Egypt.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A radical Egyptian Muslim cleric calling for the murder of every Jew that enters Egypt so they can quench their thirst for Jewish blood is a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days.

The radical Islamist Muslim cleric Salah Sultan has crossed a line in his call for the murdering of Jews so that people can quench their thirst for Jewish blood. This seems to be the epitome of hatred for the Jewish people by an element of radical Islam. The fact that Hamas television would air such a horrific statement by anyone is beyond the pale as well. However, when you are a student of Bible prophecy you recognize what is for sure setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Down through history, there has been a conflict between the Jews and the Egyptians. Four thousand years ago, the family of Jacob which became the nation of Israel, was under Egyptian bondage for 400 years, a fulfillment of the prophecy in Genesis 15. In recent history, the Jewish state has been involved in at least three wars with Egypt in 1948, 1967, and 1973. As it relates to the future, Egypt will join a coalition of nations that will move to destroy the Jewish state, Daniel 11:40-43 where Egypt is referred to as the King of the North. Other Jewish prophets foretell of a future Israeli-Egyptian conflict as well like Jeremiah and Ezekiel.

A radical Egyptian Muslim cleric saying that people have a thirst for Jewish blood is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
