Israel is charging Syria with rearming Hezbollah and Egypt with smuggling arms to the Palestinians in Gaza
As the UN peacekeepers are moving into Southern Lebanon to setup a buffer between Israel and Hezbollah, there is clear evidence according to Israeli intel that Syria is continuing to rearm Hezbollah with weapons from Iran passing through the Bekah Valley to the terrorist fighters.

The Temple treasures looted by the Romans in 70 AD are now back in the Holy Land

Tradition says that General Titus, leader of the Roman army who looted the Temple treasures in 70 AD took all the Temple implements to Rome and that these sacred items remain there 'til today. Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, is a joyous holiday of prayer, repentance, sounding of the shofar, and festive meals. This Rosh Hashana comes at a time of political turmoil in Israel with the threat of war from radical Islamic elements in the Middle East.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez calls the US President George Bush "the devil".
"The Devil came here" said Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez referring to US President George Bush as the South American leader addressed the United Nations General Assembly during its annual meeting. Chavez also said that he could still smell the sulfur around the podium. Chavez accused President Bush of having spoken as if he owned the world referring to Mr. Bush as a spokesman for imperialism trying to preserve his current pattern of domination and exploitation.

The President saying that establishing democracies in the Middle East would give people in the region a vision of hope, and opportunity, and a better future. Among those in the audience of the UN General Assembly was Iranian President Ahmadinejad who is an outspoken critic of US foreign policy and continues to challenge the world for its right to develop its nuclear program. Palestinian Islamic leaders are calling on Pope Benedict to convert to Islam in order to spare his life
Islamic and Arab national leaders, many Muslim clerics, and thousands of Muslims throughout the Islamic world have denounced Pope Benedict for his comments in a recent speech where he quoted a 14th century Byzantine emperor who said that the Muslim prophet Mohammad had only brought evil and inhumane events to the world.
Now, Palestinian Islamic leaders are calling for the Pope to not only apologize for his comments, but seek forgiveness, and they say according to the words of the prophet Mohammad, the Pope must convert to Islam if he wants to spare his life. The Vatican has beefed up the security around the Pope, even as they released Pope Benedict's statement of apology for offending the Muslim world with his statement that he says do not reflect his beliefs.

The PA President Mahmoud Abbas says there will be a Palestinian unity government but will that bring peace?
The President of the Palestinian Authority (PA), Mahmoud Abbas, says that his political party Fatah will form a unity government with Hamas, the present ruling party in the PA, and Hamas agrees there will be a unity government to lead the Palestinian people.
Abbas and the Hamas leader, PM Haniyeh, will meet to form the unity government cabinet to lead the PA with a mix of Hamas and Fatah leaders; a reformation of the PA that these Palestinian leaders hope will restart the flow of funds from the EU, the US, and other nations of the world. There are questions as to how the peace process between the Israelis and the Palestinians will be affected since Hamas has already said the unity government has nothing to do with recognizing Israel's right to exist in the Middle East.

Pope Benedict is calling for dialogue to discuss Islamic holy war as against God's nature
Pope Benedict in a major lecture at Regensburg University in Germany where he taught theology for a number of years, invited Muslims to join in a dialogue based on the premise that the concept of Islamic holy war is unreasonable and against God's nature.
The Pontiff avoided making a direct criticism of Islam as he packaged his comments in a highly complex academic lecture with references ranging from ancient Jewish and Greek thinking to Protestant theology and modern Atheism. The Pope used the terms, "jihad" and "holy war" in his lecture and added that violence is incompatible with the nature of God and the nature of the soul.

A world renowned scientist says the human race must find new homes in outer space to survive
Speaking at an international conference at Hong Kong University, the author of the international best seller, "A Brief History of Time", who is also professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, Stephen Hawking said that the survival of the human race depends on its ability to find new homes elsewhere in the universe because there is an increasing risk that a disaster will destroy the earth.
The British astrophysicist told a news conference in Hong Kong that humans could have a permanent base on the Moon in 20 years and a colony on Mars in the next 40 years. Hawking said that new observational results and theoretical advances are coming in rapidly, and that we are getting closer to answering the old question, "Where did we come from?"

As America and the world remembers 9-11, Al Qaeda warns of another attack
Al Qaeda's number two leader Al Zawahiri called on Muslims to increase their resistance to the US on the fifth anniversary of the September 11 attacks and warned the US of another attack.
The Al Qaeda leader said the days are pregnant and giving birth to new events with Allah's permission and guidance and that the US should worry about their presence in the Persian Gulf and in addition they should worry about Israel. The recently released Al Qaeda video tape showed images of two of the terrorists involved in 9-11 superimposed over background pictures of the crumbling World Trade Center towers and the burning of the Pentagon.

There is a scientific report that says planet earth is going back to the age of the Dinosaur
According to some scientists, global warming over the coming century could mean a return to the temperatures last seen in the age of the dinosaur and which led to the extinction of up to half of all species on the earth at that time.
The British Association for the Advancement of Science at their annual meeting were told that the earth may already be on the breaking edge of a wave of mass extinctions as global average temperatures become higher than they have been in the last 10 million years.

The campaign to prepare the world for the results of global warming has received another boost to get the word out and to everybody.
As a student of Bible prophecy and as a student of the entire Bible, I would suggest several observations as it relates to the End Times and this issue of global warming. I do not know, nor does anybody else really know the truth about global warming. I do know however, during the time of judgment in the future, the Tribulation Period, there will also be ecological judgment on the earth: grass and trees will be burned up, the oceans will turn to blood, the fish of the seas will be killed, and fresh water, rivers, and lakes will turn to blood also, that's Revelation 8:7-11 and 16:3-7. As it relates to the age of dinosaurs, according to scientists, 10 million years ago, that is impossible unless one is willfully ignorant which is how the Apostle Peter described people during the time of the near return of Jesus Christ back to the earth, and that's found in II Peter 3:3-7.
A supposed scientific report that says we're going back to the age of dinosaurs does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
The British Association for the Advancement of Science at their annual meeting were told that the earth may already be on the breaking edge of a wave of mass extinctions as global average temperatures become higher than they have been in the last 10 million years.

As the world listens to statement after statement and watches film documentations on the subject of global warming, the most recent pronouncement indicates that our earth is facing climatic changes today that will take us back to the conditions prevalent of yesterday, and the yesteday that scientists are referring to is the period of time when dinosaurs roamed this earth. The Iraqi government has taken control of its armed forces
At a ceremony to mark the handover of Iraq's military forces to the Iraqi government, General George Casey, the top US commander in Iraq, said from this day forward the Iraqi military will be led by Iraqis.
US military spokesman, General William Caldwell, said that if you go back and map out significant events military that have occurred in Iraq's formation of its government's taking control of its country, the transfer of control of the military is a huge significant event.

Prime minister Maliki now has complete control over Iraq's military and the PM said this rebuilt military will move to bring an end to sectarian violence. After disbanding the Iraqi army following the US led invasion in 2003, the US and other foreign forces have been training the new Iraqi military for the purpose of this transfer of leadership. As this war-torn nation continues to rebuild politically and militarily, a future Iraq comes better into focus that is being prepared for a significant role in Bible prophecy.
The End Times scenario for Iraq is found in Revelation 18 which speaks of Iraq, biblical Babylon in the text, which will be the future world headquarters for an economic, governmental, political system that will be headed up by Antichrist. Iraq, which I once again remind you is biblical Babylon, must be rebuilt for its role in Bible prophecy because it ultimately must be completely destroyed and never inhabited again, that is forever, that's found in Isaiah 13 and 14, Jeremiah 50 and 51, and Revelation 18. In fact, the last judgment of the seven year Tribulation Period is the total destruction of Iraq, biblical Babylon, and then Jesus Christ comes back to earth, that's Revelation 16:17-21 and Zechariah 14:4.

President George W. Bush claims Al Qaeda's vision is to create a global Islamic state with Iraq as its capital
In a recent speech, US President George W. Bush vowed to prevent Al Qaeda from creating a violent radical Islamic empire based in Iraq, which he said is the ultimate goal of Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden.
The President said Islamic radicals would like to obtain nuclear and other Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) in order to blackmail the free world and spread the ideologies of hate setting up a caliphate, a global theocratic regime, over the free world of today. President Bush said that Bin Laden has declared Iraq the capital of the caliphate and he compared the Al Qaeda leader to 20th century dictators like Russia's Vladimir Lennon and Germany's Adolph Hitler.

The continuing controversial war in Iraq seems to be, by all accounts, the battleground for the establishment of a Democratic Middle East, but radical Islamic resistance has put the process in jeopardy. The world has tried to reason that Bin Laden's goal of a caliphate, a global Islamic theocratic regime under Sharia Law, is not the goal of all of Islam. However, one finds it very difficult to explain away the doctrine of a global empire which is the stated Last Days scenario that can be found in the Islamic holy book, the Koran.

Israel is preparing for a war with Iran and Syria
According to Israeli political and military sources, the Israeli government is preparing for a war with a nuclear armed Iran and the terrorist sponsoring state of Syria, a challenge that is now top of the Israeli defense agenda, higher than the Palestinian threat.
The conflict with Hezbollah has led to a strategic rethink in Israel and a key conclusion is that too much attention has been paid to Palestinian militants in Gaza, Judea, and Samaria instead of the two biggest state sponsors of terrorism in the region. It is evident that Iran's growing confidence after the war in Lebanon means Israel must be prepared for a full-scale war in which Syria will be a key player.

Daniel 11:40 mentions Syria, the king of the North, in alliance with Iran, known as Persia in Ezekiel 38:5, with the Psalmist mentioning both Syria, Assur in Psalm 83:8, and Iran, the Hagarenes, in verse 6 also of Psalm 83.
These prophetic passages contain prewritten history that is coming into focus and will be fulfilled.

The Army of Islam has been formed in the Gaza Strip
The Army of Islam, a Palestinian Muslim terror group aligned with the ideology of al Qaeda, has been formed in the Gaza Strip and they say the plan is to aim their attacks against the enemies of Islam and their collaborators among the Arab states as well in addition to their attacks concentrated on Israeli occupation of Muslim lands.
Abu Mohammed, the leader of the Army of Islam, says that Jihad, Islamic holy war, will be the main tool and weapon against the US initiated new Middle East when the day comes to fight and he believes that day is not so far away. Abu Mohammed says the ultimate goal is the Islamic state for everybody, a state ruled by Sharia Law that will replace the corrupted states founded by the West.

The vision of Abu Mohammed, the leader of the Army of Islam, is for an Islamic kingdom over all the world to be in place and under Sharia Law in the near future. Abu Mohammed believes the best and quickest way to bring his vision to reality is Jihad, Islamic holy war, and his Army of Islam is ready to bring the battle. This idea of an army of Islam is the same focus of the leader of Saudi Arabia, King Abdullah, who proposed several years ago that the Muslim world must unite and form a mighty Muslim militia. Another King Abdullah, the king of Jordan, endorsed the Saudi leader's proposal and called for the formation of an army of Islam.
The newly formed Muslim militia in the Gaza Strip, the Army of Islam, is on the direct course called for in Bible prophecy for the End Times. Joel, an ancient Jewish prophet, spoke of a mighty militia that will form in the Last Days to attack Jerusalem and the Jewish state, a military might the size of which the world has never seen and will never see again, that's found in Joel 2:2-3.
The only people on earth that could form that size of a military is the Muslim world and the Army of Islam is evidence that Bible prophecy is near fulfillment.
