The state of Israel comes to a standstill to remember six million people who died because they were Jewish

For two minutes, the sirens sound across the entire nation of Israel and the Jewish people came to a complete standstill in honor of the six million Jews that died during WWII, a number that was one third of the entire population of the Jewish people in the 1930's and 40's.

Holocaust Remembrance Day is a 24 hour commemoration of the Jews who died during the Holocaust and the celebration of those who survived the Holocaust, approximately 250 thousand Jews who now live in Israel. This Remembrance Day, this year, coming at a time when the elimination of Jews is part of a strategy of the Moslem world and at a time when there are reports of a rise in Antisemitism around the world.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Holocaust Remembrance Day is a reminder of the destiny of the Jewish people in the Last Days according to Bible prophecy.

As the nation of Israel stopped and remembered the six million Jews who perished during WWII, there is also the lingering thought of even more persecution to come for the Jews in the near future as indicated by the rise in Antisemitism around the world. In a recent report that revealed the new strategy of the militant Moslems, there was a call to eliminate the Jews and Middle East terrorism is evidence that that strategy is at work. The Bible is full of the history of the Jews and their continual struggle to stay alive down through the centuries. That history is the basis upon which one can understand how Bible prophecy on this subject will be fulfilled.

Zechariah, an ancient Jewish prophet, wrote that two out of every three Jews will be killed during the seven year Tribulation Period yet to come, Zechariah 13:8. Many other Biblical prophets also wrote of that slaughter of the Jewish people during that time of Jacob's Trouble in the future.

Holocaust Remembrance Day is a stark reminder that Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.
