Jerusalem is the Political Capital of the State of Israel, that is according to President Donald Trump, but instead; should I say, according to the Bible

Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: But what about Israeli’s, were they emotional about this very important announcement made?

WM: First of all let’s start with the politicians. Almost across the spectrum you had a very strong support for that statement. It’s been a sore point that Israel is the only country in the world in which the principle of a country declares its capital and everybody respects that. We were the only ones who were on the outside. We were the only ones who were held to a rule that was set up back in 47’, which never really existed because the patrician never came into being but everybody pretended. It was a city that was divided and no one was bothered when it was 19 years under an occupation of another country, Jordan.

No matter what you say about the issue with Jerusalem for Israeli’s across the board it was a plus and a minus. The plus was you cannot take Jerusalem out of the Jewish soul. You cannot take Jerusalem out of the Bible. You cannot take Jerusalem out of almost every single thing in Jewish religious and cultural custom is. On the minus side it was just realizing something like the President said, if I can use his words backwards unreal, myth, made up, division, patrician, Arab-Jerusalem. The city of Jerusalem since the 1850s and 60s has always had a Jewish majority. It’s never been divided in 3,000 years except under the Germanic occupation.

So, that really rankled us in terms of when we were going to get a fair deal I think I said in the very beginning if it’s not based on truth. No matter what you agree on at the end if you can’t say Jerusalem belongs to the Jewish people. The Temple Mount is where the Temples were. I think Mr. Trump did a tremendous service to clear the air and say wait a second lets start from point A and wherever we get to it'll be because we started at point A and not something else.

JD: Winkie Medad with the truth about Jerusalem.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Jerusalem has been the political capital of the Jewish people for over 3,000 years that is according to II Samuel chapter 5. President Trump has actually brought the world to the reality of God’s plan for Jerusalem. The Lord set that plan in place as I said some 3,000 years ago. In fact, Psalm 132:13 & 14 states that God has chosen Jerusalem to dwell among his people forever and that of course is the Jewish people.

President Trump whether he knew it or not was speaking Biblical truth with his announcement at the White House.
