In an exclusive interview by Ken Timmerman, an analyst for Prophecy Today, the former deputy defense minister of Israel, General Ephraim Snay, said that war between Iran and Israel is inevitable, and that the present bewtween Israel and Hezbollah is a prelude to that war.
Snay said that when you have the president of the world's fourth largest oil supplier preaching repeatedly that Israel should be wiped off the map, a collision is unavoidable. The former deputy defense minister says the current war in Lebanon is actually a war by Iran against Israel.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
Though he is not a prophet, nor the son of a prophet, a former Israeli defense chief is correct, a war between Israel and Iran is inevitable, that is according to Bible prophecy.
For a number of years now, Israeli Intelligence has reported that Iran is the number one enemy of Israel. The level of concern by the Israeli intelligence community has increased as the world has stood by watching Iran develop a Nuclear Weapon of Mass Destruction. All the evidence gleamed from the present Israeli-Hezbollah conflict reveals that Iran has not only trained the members of Hezbollah, financed their terrorist activities, but have supplied all of their weapons and munitions for the fight against Israel. The radical rhetoric of Iran's President Ahmadinejad against the Jewish state has incited the Muslim streak to destroy the Jewish state of Israel.
Israel's former Defense Minister, General Snay, is right on target with his evaluation that there will be a war between Israel and Iran. I make that statement in light of the scenario found in Bible prophecy that points to this coming war. The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel wrote 2,500 years ago, in other words prewrote history, that Iran referred to as Persia in Ezekiel 38:5 would be one of the players in a war led by a coalition of nations to move to remove the Jewish state from the earth.
Ahmadinejad's radical rhetoric does set the stage for General Snay's prediction of a war between Israel and Iran.
