JD: Iran is posing a growing problem and a threat to all of Europe. What can you tell me about this?
JR: Well Europe has of course had more or less of a policy of appeasement. We know that it’s very economically inclined. Of course the Iran agreement which the United States has broken the EU is doing everything they can to stay in that frame work. They’ve even created this new system of payments called instecks. But the United States has put pressure on them and it’s very hard to hide the fact that Iran’s policy’s are terrorism, political assignations.
The missile test that was just this last weekend the EU is
saying this is not acceptable. But Iran continues a policy’s plotting with
explosives, attacks, assassinations, espionage all types of things. So the EU
needs to change their position of appeasement and get serious of dealing with
Iran because now these missiles are literally in their back yard.
JD: Yeah, that is a major threat on European soil. And the EU
warning Iran to stop all of this, can they really back that threat up to Iran?
JR: You know they’ve tried many times but it’s been very feudal.
Even at the beginning of much of the tensions with Iran the EU was like we sent
delectation this is all taken care of and it was always meaning less. So now that
the European Union has stepped up the redirect towards Iran they are just
coming back with very hard liner statements and saying there are identified
terrorist groups in Europe why don’t you deal with those and leave Iran alone.
So its an escalating situation to some extent.
