The United States and the European Union say that the Israel-Palestinian peace talks will fail if Israel does not stop building in Biblical lands

The United States has requested that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu extend the construction moratorium in Jerusalem and the area of Judea and Samaria, referred to as the West Bank, in order to keep the Palestinians from walking out of the peace talk negotiations as they have threatened to do.

Meanwhile, Catherine Ashton, the Chief of Foreign Policy for the European Union, while in Israel has both the Israeli and the Palestinian leaders the peace process will fail if Israel continues to build in the Jewish settlements and Ashton has applied pressure on Israel to continue the moratorium on building.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

US and European pressure on Israel to stop building in Biblical lands, their promised land, is a precursor to the end of times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

The United States and the European Union are both guilty of applying pressure on the Jewish state of Israel to stop building in a portion of the state that dates back 4000 years ago in Jewish heritage. Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria referred to by world leaders as the West Bank, this real estate is the center focus of the United States and the European Union as they endeavor to manipulate the peace process between the Israelis and the Palestinians. Pressure to stop construction in these Jewish areas applied by the United States and the European Union has undermined the entire peace process by giving the Palestinians an issue to hold over the Israelis and hinder any honest approach to this peace process.

This scenario is exactly what Jesus said would happen in the last days. In His Olivet Discourse, as recorded in Luke 21:24, the Lord told the Jewish people that Jerusalem would be trodden down controlled by the Gentiles until He returned to the Earth. Daniel, and ancient Jewish prophet, wrote this same scenario in Daniel chapters 2 and 9 as he foretold that the Gentiles would have control of the Jewish people until Jesus Christ comes back to resolve this conflict. By the way, the United States and the European Union are Gentile world powers. John, who wrote the book of Revelation, reveals the plan of God to bring Gentile world powers to defeat (Revelation 6-19).

United States and European Union pressure on the Jewish state of Israel is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

A Russian naval official says that Russian warships will be docked in Syrian port cities

The Russian navy says they are planning to expand Syrian port city facilities in order to be able to dock Russian aircraft carriers and missile cruisers by no later than 2013 which would allow the Russian navy to supply logistics and maintenance service to the eastern Mediterranean. This project, when concluded, will enable the Syrian ports to accommodate a range of heavy warships including the aircraft carriers which has been a goal that Russia has sought after for a number of years.

This will also allow Moscow to increase naval patrols in the Mediterranean and the Arabian Gulf even as Russia continues to make its presence known in the Middle East region.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The expansion by the Russian navy into the Middle East and the establishment of naval operations in Syria's port cities is a step closer to the end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

As far back as 1971 Russia and Syria have had an agreement in place that today is allowing for the Russian navy to have a major presence in the Middle East and set up naval operations in the port cities of Syria. By the year 2013 Russia believes that it will be able to station heavy warships in Syrian ports including aircraft carriers and missile cruisers. When this project is completed the Russians will become a major player in the Middle East with this naval firepower in place.

This report is as close to the prophetic scenario for the last days that can be found in Bible prophecy as one could possible get without being the actual fulfillment of the prophecy. The ancient Jewish prophets Daniel and Ezekiel both wrote of Russia and Syria as key nations in the alignment of nations that will come against Israel in the last days. Ezekiel mentions Magog in Ezekiel 38:2 as the leader of this alignment. A close study of Biblical geography reveals that Magog is modern-day Russia. Daniel 11:40-41 mentions the king of the north which is the modern-day state of Syria and according to this passage, Syria will be the first nation to make its move towards destroying Israel.

With Russia moving its naval operations into the port cities of Syria, the prophetic scenarios of Daniel and Ezekiel are at the point of fulfillment possible in the very near future.

The president of the EU says religion must play a role in the operation of the European political structure

Herman Van Rompuy who is president of the European Council, made up of 27 member states of the European Union (EU), says that the EU must be a union of values and that it needs spiritual and religious input into the daily operation of this major political structure as called for by the Lisbon Treaty, the constitution for the EU. Article 17 of the Lisbon Treaty calls for continuing consultations between the leaders of the EU and all religious organizations which is something that the Vatican in Rome has been trying to achieve for decades.

Even before the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty consultations were taking place and recently more than two dozen Christian, Jewish, and Moslem leaders met with the presidents of the European Parliament, the European Commission, and the leadership of the 27 member states that is called the European Council.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A clause in the Lisbon Treaty that calls for religions influence on the direction of the EU is a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days.

With the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty the 27 member states of the EU were able to elect a president that could lead this major political structure into the future. A clause in the treaty, Article 17, actually calls for religion to have a role in the direction that the EU and its leadership will take in our world today. EU leaders have met with and will continue to meet with religions leaders for their input in the operation of the EU and its role in global governance.

This report is, as I stated, a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days. The prophets Daniel and John both wrote of the revival of the Old Roman Empire and its role in the last days. Daniel revealed in Daniel 7:7 that the ten horns represent the Revived Roman Empire and John in Revelation 17:12 also speaking of the ten horns said they will come to power in the last days. A closer study of the ten horns indicates that the EU is at least the infrastructure for the Revived Roman Empire. Revelation 17 details the fact that religion, the false church, that religion is a major player in the Revived Roman Empire during the seven year Tribulation period.

A clause in the Lisbon Treaty calling for a religious influence in the operation of the EU is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Jewish settlers resume construction in Judea and Samaria even under pressure not to do so from world leaders

The end of the ten month moratorium on building in the city of Jerusalem and any of the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria, a location often referred to as the West Bank, and the resumption of construction by the Jewish settlers is in contradiction to the demands by the United States and the European Union not to do so. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has repeatedly said that building in the Jewish settlements would be a deal breaker in the peace talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians in an effort to bring resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The Jewish settlers say they want an end to the conflict but they also have a God given right to not only live in this ancient Jewish homeland but to build their homes there so that they can raise their families and continue their lives in the land of their forefathers.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Resumption of construction in the Jewish settlements of Judea and Samaria may not be good for the peace process but it is in line with God's plan for the Jewish people in the last days, that is according to Bible prophecy.

After ten months of no building in the Biblical areas of Judea and Samaria construction has resumed under pressure from the United States, the United Nations, and the European Union not to do so. World leaders say that the Jewish settlements are an obstacle to the peace process that is trying to bring resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Yesha, the council of Jewish settlement leaders say the exact opposite is the case. Jews living in their ancient homeland is a deterrent to war in the region.

This argument between the Israelis and the Palestinians will continue until Jesus Christ comes back to the earth according to the little prophetic book of Obadiah (Obadiah 15 - 18). The land in question is actually God's land according to Leviticus 25:23 and he promised it to the Jewish people in the last days (Ezekiel 34 and 36). In fact, the Lord said that He gave the land to the Jewish people not because of the fact that they were Jewish but for His holy name sake (Ezekiel 36:22).

Peace talks or not, resumption of construction in Judea and Samaria or not, God's plan and His promises will come about. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Jordan's King Abdullah says a failure in the Middle East peace talks could lead to war in the region

Jordan's King Abdullah told talk show host John Stewart, on a recent appearance on The Daily Show that if Middle East peace talks fail there could be a war in the Middle East and the United States will be involved in this war which could spread throughout the entire region. Abdullah said that the lack of ability to move the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks forward as well as the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are factors in the success or failure of bringing peace to the region.

The Jordanian king said that his country has a vested interest in the success of the peace talks reminding Stewart that the future security for the Israelis and the Palestinians is security for Jordan as well.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Jordanian King Abdullah's warning of a Middle East war, if the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks fail, is in essence a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days.

Jordan's King Abdullah on the John Stewart talk show, The Daily Show, was almost prophetic as he warned of a war in the Middle East if the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks fail. The king said that Jordan was between Iraq and a hard place, with a hint of humor, however the king is speaking truth about a region of the world that he knows very well. Jordan's population is made up of Palestinians who have moved into Jordan over the last 60 years and number almost 3.5 million, 70% of Jordan's total population. King Abdullah is eagerly watching as the peace talks move ahead with many bumps on the road to success.

The king may not realize that his warning of a Middle East war happening in the next year is a page right out of Bible prophecy. The ancient Jewish prophets did not name the exact time but they did prewrite history pertaining to the Middle East war in the future (Ezekiel 38 and Daniel 11). Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Malachi, and Obadiah were more specific in their prophecies as it relates to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Malachi 1 reveals that the Edomites, modern-day Palestinians, that the Edomites will return to power and build borders that the Lord calls borders of wickedness. Ezekiel 35 predicts the Palestinians will kill Jews and take their land. Both Obadiah and Jeremiah say that when the Messiah comes back to the Earth, the Edomites, today's Palestinians will be destroyed.

King Abdullah's warning of a Middle East war is correct. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Jews in Jerusalem and around the world observe the seven day Feast of Tabernacles by living in thatched huts

The last of the seven Jewish feast days, the Feast of Tabernacles, is being observed by Jews in Jerusalem and around the world by building a "succa", a thatched hut, and then living in this succa for the entire week long Jewish holy days as they complete the annual cycle of Jewish holy days given to them by God some 3,500 years ago.

The succa, a thatched hut similar to the dwelling place of the Children of Israel during their 40-year long wandering in the wilderness on their trip to the promised land, will be erected near their homes and apartments so that the family may use this succa in celebration of this annual event. Thousands of Christians from around the world will join the Jews in Israel to celebrate the feast because of the Biblical directive for all, both Christians and Jews, to observe the Feast of Tabernacles on a yearly basis.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles by Jewish people in Jerusalem and around the world has not only a historic significance but a prophetic significance as well according to Bible prophecy.

Since the end of the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, Jewish families in Israel and around the world have been erecting their succas, a thatched hut, to have it ready for the week long celebration of Succoth, the Feast of Tabernacles.

The succa was the transportable housing for the Children of Israel as they wandered in the wilderness during that forty year period traveling from Egypt to the promised land. Jewish families will eat their meals, visit with family and friends and some even sleep in their thatched huts, the succa, for the entire seven days of the feast. The historic significance of this feast is to remind the Jews of their travels to the promised land.

Prophetically, this seven day feast is the time when Jews will look forward to the Kingdom Period promised by the Lord and revealed by the ancient Jewish prophets. At the Transfiguration recorded in Matthew 17, when Peter saw Jesus in His glorified body, along with Moses and Elijah, he wanted to build three tabernacles, three succas, because he thought the Kingdom had arrived. That physical earthly Kingdom will begin on a future Feast of Tabernacles when Jesus Christ sets up His Kingdom.

Jews celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles today, looks forward to a future Feast of Tabernacles and the Kingdom to come.

Iran's president says that the future belongs to Iran

Iranian President Ahmadinejad has challenged the United States to accept the fact that his country has a major role in the world and he told reporters at the United Nations General Assembly that the future belongs to Iran and the world will realize this fact sooner than later. Ahmadinejad said that anti-nuclear sanctions against his government would have no effect and the Iranian president said that his country is only seeking peace and a nuclear free world.

Ahmadinejad said that Iran considers itself to be a human force and a cultural power - a friend to all other nations and it is clear that the future does belong to Iran whose enemies will be fruitless.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The statement by Iranian President Ahmadinejad that the future belongs to Iran is only half correct - that is according to Bible prophecy.

In a very controversial visit to the United Nations in New York City, Iranian President Ahmadinejad has been outspoken about a number of issues including the statement that the future belongs to Iran. President Ahmadinejad had called for a new world order in the near future, said that his country was not developing a nuclear weapon of mass destruction, and that if his country was under attack, there would be a war without boundaries. Many world leaders have questioned the wisdom of allowing the Iranian president to address the United Nations General Assembly.

As to the future belonging to Iran, that statement is only half correct. Iran will be a major player in the coalition of nations that will try to destroy Israel in the last days. That is found in Ezekiel 38:5 where Iran is referred to as Persia. This attempt to destroy Israel will actually lead to Iran's total destruction (Ezekiel 39:2). This will happen early on in the seven year tribulation period when Israel is at rest in their land (Ezekiel 38:8,11). After these events, the future belongs to the Jewish people who will welcome their Messiah, Jesus Christ, and His kingdom to be set up in Jerusalem (Zechariah 14, Isaiah 63, and Revelation 20:4-6).

Sorry President Ahmadinejad, the future actually belongs to the Jews. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Israel's president tells United Nations delegates that Iran's president is a living declaration against the UN charter

In a recent appearance at the United Nations Israel's President, Shimon Peres, addressing the UN delegates, said that Iran's President Ahmadinejad is a living declaration against the charter of the United Nations as he referenced the provision of the United Nations charter that states a member state cannot threaten another state with total destruction. Peres told the delegates that Ahmadinajad continues to call for the destruction of the state of Israel and at the same time, also supplies military arms to every terrorist organization in the Middle East.

The Israeli president said that he was speaking on behalf of a small group of people in a tiny land, a people that exist despite the murder of one third of the world's Jewish population in the holocaust and seven attacks on Israel in the state's 62 year history.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

There is an ironic twist in the fact that a world leader can call for the total destruction of the state of Israel and at the same time be allowed to address the United Nations whose charter forbids such activity especially in light of the end of times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Many world leaders have questioned the appearance of President Ahmadinejad of Iran on the platform of the United Nations in light of his radical rhetoric that continues to call for the total destruction of the Jewish state of Israel. In a recent appearance on that same United Nations platform Israeli President Shimon Peres reminded the United Nations delegates that there is enough room for every person, every nations, and every religion in the Middle East.

Peres said that Israel will continue to exist in the Middle East even though Iran's president calls for its total destruction, a statement which has been confirmed by the ancient Jewish prophets. Jeremiah said that as long as the sun, the moon, and the stars are in the heavens, the seed of Israel will not cease from being a nation (Jeremiah 31:35-36). Ironically, another Jewish prophet named Ezekiel foretold the total destruction of the state of Iran which is referred to as Persia in Ezekiel 38:5. Iran, when they attack Israel, will be one of many nations who try to destroy the Jewish state of Israel (Ezekiel 39:1-6).

On the world stage, known as the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, the last drama in history is making preparations to begin. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

There are reports that the Dead Sea could dry up in the next several years - but there may be a solution

For a number of years, the Dead Sea, located in the Jordan Valley with the Eastern shore in Jordan and the Western shore in Israel, the Dead Sea has been losing its water and now it's sinking by about three feet per year which is causing fears both in Jordan and Israel that the Dead Sea could literally dry up by the year 2050.

One of the main ideas being considered by Jordan and Israel is the Red Dead Conveyance Project, a project that would involve digging a canal and using a series of water pipeline conduits that could bring water from the Red Sea to the Dead Sea in order to bring the Dead Sea water level back to normal.

The project would take over 20 years to complete and would cost as much as 15 billion dollars at today's values, but when completed, the project would bring about a new source of electric energy for the region, create new recreational areas to draw tourists to the area, and save one of the wonders of the world, the Dead Sea, which is located at the lowest spot on the earth.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Red Dead Project could save the Dead Sea, but it also may be a project that will set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

For a number of years, Middle East politicos, governmental leaders, and engineers have been talking about the Red Dead Project and how it could be the answer to the ever increasing problem at the Dead Sea and its loss of water. In search of a solution for this problem, Israeli President Shimon Peres presented the Red Dead Project to a regional gathering of political leaders, governmental officials and bankers.

This momentous project would take years and cost billions of dollars, but would also ultimately pay for itself in the long run. There are those who say this type of project could produce great wealth like the silver and gold that could be extracted from the Dead Sea, enough money to pay the national debts of almost every nation in the world.

In the book of Ezekiel 38:13, the prophet mentions the gold and silver that will attract Israel's enemies to come to destroy the Jewish state. Later in Ezekiel 47, he mentions how water from the Temple in Jerusalem will actually flow down to the Dead Sea and make it a freshwater lake, not 10 times saltier than the ocean as it is today.

A focus on the Dead Sea is indeed a prop on the stage for the end times scenario that will be fulfilled.

The Chief of Staff of the IDF from a monument to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy says Israel is alive and well today

Israeli Chief of Staff General Gabi Ashkenazi speaking at the Arch of Titus in Rome, Italy said on the day of the most recent Tisha B'Av, the ninth day of the Jewish month of Av, the day when 1940 years ago, the Roman leader General Titus led the Roman army to destroy the Temple in Jerusalem, General Ashkenazi said even though this was a terrible time in Jewish history, Israel is alive today.

The Arch of Titus was erected by the Roman emperor in 70AD and he built the Arch, still standing in Rome today, to celebrate his son's victory over the Jewish people and the destruction of the Temple.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Arch of Titus in Rome, Italy is a monument to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy but it is also tangible evidence that yet to be fulfilled Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Chief of Staff of the IDF, General Gabi Ashkenazi, stood on last Tisha B'Av at the Arch of Titus in Rome and said that the Jewish people, Israel, is alive and ready to defend itself against another tragedy like the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in 70AD which the Arch commemorates and has for over 1900 years. When General Titus led the Roman army to destroy the Jewish Temple, devastate the city of Jerusalem, and disperse the Jews to the four corners of the earth, this Roman leader was actually fulfilling Bible prophecy.

Some 40 years earlier in 30AD, Jesus in His Olivet Discourse told His disciples that the Temple would be destroyed. General Titus fulfilled the Lord's prophecy and the Arch of Titus is the monument to the fulfillment of this prophecy. However, Jesus also said in that very profound prophecy message that there would be signs to alert the Jews of a time of real judgment on the Jewish people in a time yet future and it would appear just before the judgment began.

Jesus said there would be deception and signs, wonders, and miracles prevalent in our world, Matthew 24:4, 5, 11, 24. Jesus also said wars and rumors of wars would prevail, Matthew 24:6-7 and there would also be preparations to rebuild the Jewish Temple, Matthew 24:15.

General Ashkenazi at the Arch of Titus in Rome speaks to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy, but also to additional Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled in the future.

Almost half of the population of Israel wants to see the holy temple rebuilt in Jerusalem

In a recent nationwide poll taken by the Knesset Israel's legislative body, 49% of the body politic of Israel said they want to see the holy temple rebuilt on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem where there once stood two previous Jewish temples. The last one, Herod's temple, was destroyed in 70AD by the Roman soldiers led by General Titus.

The Israeli public is about evenly split on whether they believe the temple will be rebuilt with a slight edge 42% - 39% to those who believe that the third temple will be rebuilt. Given the current political climate, the onset of construction of the temple is not likely to go over quietly in the Islamic world which currently has day to day control of the Temple Mount.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The almost 50% of Israelis who want to see the holy Jewish temple rebuilt in Jerusalem are in perfect harmony with what the Bible reveals will happen in the last days.

In a recent national poll carried out in Israel, 49% of the Israelis said that they want to see the rebuilding of the third temple in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount. The Temple Mount has been the location of two previous temples, the one built by King Solomon some 3000 years ago and the one built by Zerubbabel 2500 years ago. The second temple, known as Herod's Temple, because it took Herod 46 years to refurbish Zerubbabel's temple, was referred to by the rabbis as the temple that if you had never seen it, you had never seen a beautiful building.

Since 70AD, when Herod's Temple was destroyed, there have been countless efforts to rebuild it on the Temple Mount. The ancient Jewish prophet Daniel said that there will be a third temple in Jerusalem during the seven year Tribulation period (Daniel 9:27). Jesus confirmed Daniel's prophecy in his Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24:15) when He said, when you see the abomination of desolation in the temple, flee Jerusalem. That abomination will be the Antichrist entering the temple and claiming to be God (II Thessalonians 2:4). Revelation 11:1 guarantees that there will be a temple in Jerusalem. John the Revelator was told to measure the location for the next Jewish temple.

50% of Israelis are right - there will be a temple in Jerusalem and maybe very soon now. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Thousands of Jews gather at the Temple Mount to declare this sacred piece of real estate belongs to the Jewish people

Thousands of Jews gathered recently at the gates to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to declare their allegiance to this holy site and to declare the city of Jerusalem is the united, undivided, eternal capital of the Jewish people.

Speakers at the rally march said that discrimination has severely restricted the ability of Jews to ascend to the Temple Mount while at the same time Moslem rules forbid Jews from praying on this site which is Judaism's most holy site.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Thousands of Jews marching around the Temple Mount to say that this sacred piece of real estate is Jewish is an event that speaks to the past and to the future that is according to Bible prophecy.

The Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the location of the gold domed building, the Dome of the Rock that is seen on the Jerusalem skyline, is the same as the spot that Abraham took his son Isaac to offer as a sacrifice. This place is Mount Moriah where King Solomon built the first Jewish Temple 3000 years ago, II Chronicles 3:1. The Temple Mount, as it is known today, is also where the Jews returning from the Babylonian captivity rebuilt the Temple, Ezra 1-6.

Today, the Temple Mount is a place of controversy as the ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah said that it would be in the last days, Zechariah 12:2. The Islamic Trust controls the Temple Mount today and they refuse to allow the Jewish worshipers to pray there on the mount, and often they will not even allow the Jews to enter the Temple Mount compound.

By the way, that same Jewish prophet Zechariah also predicted that the Lord was jealous for Jerusalem, aggressively possessive for the city that He chose to dwell among His people forever and He is sore displeased about the heathen control of this sacred spot and He also said that one day He will come back to Jerusalem and to the Temple Mount there to build His Temple that will be on that spot forever, Zechariah 1:14-16 and this is Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

On an Israeli news site the headline read, new immigrants fulfill prophecy of the ingathering of the Jewish people

The headline on the Arutz 7 news website in Israel says that new immigrants recently arriving in Israel are part of the fulfillment of Bible prophecy that foretold the in-gathering of the Jewish people to the land of their forefathers in the days before the coming of the Messiah. Among the most recent new Israeli citizens were a group from the United States, actually 21 different states, and the group included a 5 month old baby and a 95 year old grandmother, all citizens of the United States that have a Jewish background and wanted to spend the rest of their lives in the land that they say God has provided for the Jewish people.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Jews returning to the land of Israel today to become citizens of the land of their forefathers is a part of the process of the fulfillment of Bible prophecy for the last days.

Recently on a very popular Israeli news website, Arutz 7, the headline of one of the major stories was, new immigrants fulfill prophecy of the ingathering. It was a photo story showing hundreds of Jews from America that had decided to come home to the land of their forefathers, the land of Israel. Many of them carried signs telling of their love for Israel and a number of these new Israeli citizens even got off of the airplane and kissed the ground of the Jewish state. The web news site wanted to feature the story of Jews coming home to Israel because they believe it is a part of Bible prophecy being fulfilled and they are correct.

Over the last 100 years, out of 100 nations of the world, Jews have been making their way into the Jewish state of Israel even before it became a state. The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel wrote 2500 years ago that the Lord, in the last days, will bring the Jews from wherever they are in the world into the land that He had promised them. That prophecy is found in Ezekiel 34 where 18 times the Lord says that He will find the Jews where they had been scattered some 2000 years ago and bring them into the land of their forefathers. Ezekiel 37:8 foretells of the Jewish state being revived and Ezekiel 36 tells the Jews of the land that God will give them in the last days.

The arrival of Jews in Israel to immigrate, to come home, is, as the Israeli website reported, the proof that Bible prophecy is being fulfilled.

The next frontier for the NASA space program is not another trip to the Moon, but instead better relations with the Moslem world

The NASA administrator, Charles Bolden, in a recent interview with an Arabic news organization, says that his foremost mission as the head of America's space exploration agency is to improve relations with the Moslem world. Bolden said that President Obama assigned him the task of strengthening the ties with Moslems and and it was among the top tasks which is contradictory to the priorities that NASA has had in the past according to the former NASA director Michael Griffin.

Griffin says that NASA represents the best of America and its purpose is not to inspire Moslems which would be a mistake to prioritize that activity over NASA's fundamental mission of space exploration.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

America using its NASA space exploration agency as a diplomatic tool to improve US relations with the Moslem world is one more evidence that Islam is having a major impact in our world today even as Bible prophecy reveals that to be the case for the last days.

With the downsizing of the American space program, President Obama has given the NASA administrator the top task of using NASA to improve US relations with the Moslem world. The former astronauts are totally opposed to President Obama's decision to cut back on space exploration and the former NASA administrator, Michael Griffin, says that Moslem nation cooperation is not vital for America's advancement in space exploration.

This report is not meant to be an attack on the Moslem world but to bring to your attention the growing influence of Moslems in our world today as foretold in Bible prophecy. In a number of prophetic passages in the Bible the nations and events listed as major players and events in the last days have one common denominator; they are all Moslem. Ezekiel 38, Daniel 11, Psalm 83, and Joel 2 all refer to the alignment of nations which will endeavor to destroy the Jewish state of Israel in the last days. Joel 2 even mentions that the largest army ever formed on the face of the earth will come against the Jewish state of Israel and the city of Jerusalem.

US ties with the Moslem world, even though they may be a priority of the new administrator at NASA, is simply a part of a scenario where the stage is being set for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Sharia Law, the law of the land in Islamic nations, is making great strides in the Middle East, into the West, and in fact, around the world

Pakistan gave in to the pressures of Islamist militants and in order to buy off peace, Pakistani authorities allowed the imposition of Sharia, Islamic law, to be implemented in the Swat Valley, a war-torn tribal area of the Islamic nation of Pakistan.

The Pakistani government not only allowed a precedent that could spread throughout all Pakistan, but the truth be known, Islamic law, Sharia law, is making inroads across all of the Middle East and even creeping into the Western countries as well.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The spread of Sharia law, Islamic law, across the Middle East and in the nations in the West coupled with the ever-expanding Moslem populations around the world is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

European leaders have been very concerned with the ever-expanding Moslem populations in their nations and have been confused as how to handle this phenomenon. Now, in these highly populated Moslem areas, there has surfaced a new phenomenon, the demand for Sharia law, the Islamic law of the land, to be implemented and these Moslem communities want this done right now. Sharia law is the law of the land that would rule every nation in the world if Islamic leaders are successful in bringing about a worldwide caliphate, an Islamic kingdom on earth with everyone subject to Allah, the Islamic god.

Ancient Jewish prophets, though not using the words Islam or Sharia, actually spoke to the issue under discussion in their volumes of pre-written history. Joel in Joel 2:3-4 spoke of a mighty militia, a Moslem militia, the largest the world has ever seen, heading towards Jerusalem to destroy the Jewish state. Daniel 11:40-44, Ezekiel 38 and Psalm 83 all list nations that will join this mighty Moslem militia to destroy the Jewish state of Israel.

The spread of Sharia law as the law of the land in more and more nations in our world today is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Jews around the world celebrate the Jewish new year and the creation of man in Jerusalem

Jews in Jerusalem and around the world celebrate the Jewish new year with family gatherings in the first of the three Fall Jewish high holy days, Rosh Hashana, the day that marks the sixth day of Creation and God's creation of man and woman, Adam and Eve, less than 6000 years ago. Orthodox Jewish scholarship reveals that the Garden of Eden, location of God's creation of man, is actually the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and it dates back 5771 years ago which coincides with the Jewish new year 5771.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

On Rosh Hashana, the Jewish new year, attention is drawn to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the site of the Garden of Eden, and the part that it plays in the future according to Bible prophecy.

Rosh Hashana, the Jewish new year, will be celebrated by the Jewish people around the world with family gatherings, dipping apples into honey, wishing for a sweet new year ahead, and the casting of bread into a body of moving water. The casting of bread into the body of water is in connection with Micah 7:19 where the Lord tells the Jewish people that their sins will be in the depths of the deepest sea. The Jewish high holy day also marks the creation of man in the Garden of Eden 5771 years ago. Orthodox Jewish scholarship reveals that the Garden of Eden is the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

The ancient Jewish prophets foretold how the Garden of Eden will play into the end of times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy. The prophet Isaiah, when speaking on the kingdom to come, said that the Lord will make Zion, or the city of Jerusalem, the Garden of Eden in that kingdom (Isaiah 51:3). Ezekiel, writing about the land that God has promised the Jews in Ezekiel 36:35, said that the desolate land will be the Garden of Eden. Another prophet, Joel, wrote about a large militia, a military force, that will travel to the Garden of Eden, the city of Jerusalem, in an effort to destroy the Jewish people (Joel 2:2-3).

The Jewish new year, Rosh Hashana, is indeed a reminder that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Fidel Castro tells Iranian President Ahmadinejad to stop denying the Holocaust

In a recent interview with the Atlantic Magazine, Israel and the Jewish people found an unlikely defender in Fidel Castro, the retired dictator of Cuba, when he came out strongly against Iranian President Ahmadinejad's denial of the Holocaust and at the same time, Castro supported Israel's right to exist.

Castro told the magazine he wanted to communicate to Ahmadinejad, who has denied the Holocaust and called for Israel to be wiped off the map, to stop denying the Holocaust because there is nothing that compares to the Holocaust.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

It may seem ironic that Fidel Castro, the former Cuban dictator, tells Iranian President Ahmadinejad there is nothing which compares to the Holocaust; however according to Bible prophecy, there is a time in the future that will be worse than the Holocaust.

For several years, the radical rhetoric of Iranian President Ahmadinejad has been that the Holocaust never happened, the Jewish state is illegitimate, and Israel must be wiped off the map. Now, an unlikely defender of the Jews has stepped forward to tell Ahmadinejad to stop denying the Holocaust, there is nothing that compares to six million people being killed because they were guilty of one thing, they were Jewish. That defender, the former Cuban dictator Fidel Castro who supports the right for the Jews to exist, is wrong however that there is nothing which compares to the Holocaust.

Bible prophecy, written by the ancient Jewish prophets, reveals that there is coming a worse time than the WWII Holocaust. John the Apostle wrote in Revelation 4-19 of the time of Jacob's Trouble, a terrible time for Jews in the seven year Tribulation yet to come. Ezekiel 38 predicts that a number of Middle Eastern nations will rise and try to eliminate Israel from the earth and that would include the nation of Iran. Zechariah speaks of another Holocaust worse than the first when eight million Jews, two out of every three Jewish people on the earth, will be killed, Zechariah 13:8.

Fidel Castro is right, there was a past Holocaust that cannot be denied; however, the Jewish prophets are also right, the worst Holocaust is yet to come.

Google, the great information highway, is saying you can trust them with all of your personal information

The internet information highway platform known as Google which sometimes seems like a technological octopus with its tentacles reaching out in every direction, is simply the concept that is trying to organize the world's information on any device and in any way they can figure out how to do it.

The strategy of the leaders of Google is based upon the talk for years of our society being mobile which is right now finally taking off and Google wants to see if their strategy of compiling the information of the world and making it available to the world will actually work.

Google recognizes the privacy issues involved in such an operation but they believe the users of these services will determine whether Google is infringing on this privacy. Google says, "Trust us with your data".

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The plea for the world to trust Google, the platform that will control all the information of the world, is a precursor to an end of days scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

The leadership of Google wants society to trust them with all of their private data. Google believes that if they violate that trust, people will move immediately to someone else. Thus, Google says they have a very high interest in maintaining the trust of those users of their information gathering operation.

You may question, "How does this scenario fit into Bible prophecy that will be played out in the last days". Well that's a great question and I believe the answer is found in the plan of the Antichrist to control the world from a one world, economic, governmental, and political power base that will be located in the literal city of Babylon, Revelation 18. Revelation 13:16-17 reveals that in the last days, everybody left on the earth after the Rapture, when Jesus Christ calls Christians into the heavenlies, that during this time to follow, during the Tribulation Period, all who want to buy or sell will have to have an identification mark on the forehead or the back of the hand.

As world leaders meet to bring an end to the global economic crisis of today, they are calling for just such a global economic structure.

Trust me! The world is ready for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The chief of staff for the Israeli Defense Force says that the Bible is the guidebook for the military forces of Israel

The Israeli Defense Force Chief of Staff, General Gabi Ashkenazi, told the participants in the International Bible Quiz for Youth held in Jerusalem that the Israeli Defense Force sees the Bible as a guide in the deep and practical sense of the word. General Ashkenazi said that it is no accident that the Israeli Defense Force swears in soldiers with a weapon in one hand and the Bible in the other, a custom that reflects the uniqueness of the Israeli Defense Force and the deep bond of the Jewish people to the Book of Books.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A closer study of the Bible will give understanding of why the Israeli Defense Force chief of staff says that God's Word is the guidebook for Israel's military today and I would add for the future as well according to Bible prophecy.

Since the beginning of the Israeli Defense Force, with the founding of the modern-day state of Israel, every new soldier that was sworn in to defend the Jewish state was sworn in with a weapon in one hand and the Bible in the other. This practice is evidence to the world that the connection of the Jewish people with the Bible and all that it records about God's plan for the Jewish people is absolute.

As students of the Bible these military leaders in Israel, not only use God's Word for instruction in military strategy, but they want the new recruits to look to the Bible for their military career as well. There are a number of actual military activities recorded in the Bible that give input for Israel's military strategy. One in particular is the record of Gideon's plan of operation to defeat Israel's enemy (Judges 7). There are many stories of modern-day Israeli wars where only God could have given victory to the Jewish warriors which is based upon the name for the Jewish state Israel, which means "God will fight for you".

Indeed this is the case for the future as well when Israel comes under attack from the coalition of nations mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and records that the Lord will fight for the Jewish state by raining hailstone, fire, and brimstone from heaven upon Israel's attacking enemies and destroy them (Ezekiel 38:18 - Ezekiel 39:6).

The prophecies of Israel's military guidebook, the Bible, will indeed be fulfilled.

A senior research fellow at the Hudson Institute says that Jewish ties to the Temple Mount will bring peace to the Middle East

Dr. Max Singer a senior research fellow at the Begin Sadat Center for Strategic Studies says the only chance for real peace in the Middle East is if the western nations convince the Arabs that Jewish ties to the Temple Mount will bring about peace in the region.

Singer believes that the continual denial by the PA leadership of the Jewish people's ancient connection to the land of Israel and the sacred significance to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount where once stood two Jewish temples will hinder any peace efforts to the two peoples to coexist in the Middle East and thus only enhance the continuing conflict.

In spite of the fact that the PA Mufti Sheikh Sabri, the high ranking Islamic cleric, claims there has never been a Jewish presence on the Temple Mount, Jewish scholars cite many historic and Biblical sources to confirm that Jews have a 3000 year old connection to the Temple Mount and Jerusalem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The statement by the senior Jewish research fellow that Jewish ties to the Temple Mount will bring peace to the Middle East is right on target according to Bible prophecy.

Dr. Max Singer, the founder and senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, believes that if Jewish ties are restored to the Temple Mount and Jerusalem, there will be peace in the Middle East. Bible prophecy reveals that Dr. Singer is correct in the final outcome in the end of time scenario written by ancient Jewish prophets 2500 years ago. The prophet Samuel wrote in II Samuel 7 that one of King David's descendants would rule the world from a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, that descendant will be Jesus Christ, the Jewish Messiah. Isaiah wrote that when the Temple, the house of the Lord, will be established in Jerusalem, nations would turn their military weapons into farming equipment and they would learn of war no more, thus peace in the world, Isaiah 2:1-4.

As the quest for peace in the Middle East continues, all must agree with the Bible, Jewish ties to the Temple Mount will indeed bring about peace.

World leaders claim that the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks in Washington are a historic opportunity to resolve this Middle East conflict

Direct talks between the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Washington DC is believed to be possibly the last chance to bring about a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and set in place a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as the capital city for the Palestinian people. Meanwhile Hamas, the faction of the Palestinian people who are involved in an armed struggle against Israeli occupation, say that the peace talks are illegitimate and that they will not accept a peace agreement with Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The historic opportunity for a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the end result of 4000 years of history surrounding this conflict and Bible prophecy says it will continue on in to the future.

As world leaders meet in Washington, in one more effort to bring a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, comments have been made that this is a historic opportunity for peace. However, recent history indicates that this will be a very goal to achieve. US presidents starting with Jimmy Carter have been working to bring about peace in the Middle East. Time after time world leaders have failed but this has not hindered new world leaders to work at the task.

Both history and prophecy indicates that a coexistence between the Jews and the Palestinians will only come about with the intervention from the Lord in the heavens. This conflict actually began when twin boys were struggling in their mother's womb (Genesis 25:22-23). These boys, Jacob and Esau, according to what the Lord told their mother Rebekah, would become two nations. Jacob's descendants are the Jews and the state of Israel and the Palestinian people of today are the descendants of Esau, the Edomites of Biblical times. Ancient Jewish prophets reveal the conflict will continue until Jesus Christ comes to Earth at the end of the seven year Tribulation period (Ezekiel 35, Malachi 1, Jeremiah 49, and Obadiah).

As the peace talks continue in Washington DC, remember the stage is set for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

President Obama declares the US combat mission in Iraq is over

Addressing the nation from his oval office at the White House in prime time, President Obama said that after 7 years of war the US combat mission in Iraq was over, a decision that is in the best interest of both Iraqis and Americans and that this is a time to turn the page on this event in history.

The president said Americans share with the Iraqi people a belief that out of the ashes of war a new beginning could be born in this cradle of civilization.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Even though President Barack Obama declares the US combat mission in Iraq is over, there is a major war yet to be played out in Iraq according to Bible prophecy.

From the Oval Office at the White House, President Obama told the world that the US combat mission in Iraq is over which marked the formal transition of security in Iraq. Even though President Obama said this move was in the best interest of both Americans and Iraqis, many military leaders in Iraq are saying this was a premature move on the part of the US government.

As the last US combat troops were pulling out of Iraq, there was an uptick of violence in this war torn nation as elements of the insurgency moved to fill the vacuum left by the US pullout. This is evidence that military activity is not over for Iraq which is also confirmed by the end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Iraq, Biblical Babylon, is a major player in Bible prophecy as recorded in Revelation 18 where it tells us that this area will be the economic, political, and governmental capital of the world headed up by the world dictator, the Antichrist. At the end of the seven year Tribulation Period of judgment, the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will return and destroy this Satanic capital in Babylon, modern day Iraq, Revelation 18:10, 17, 19 and Isaiah 13-14 and Jeremiah 50-51.

Though US troops have pulled out of Iraq, the seven year war did indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
