A Dutch political leader says that liberal politicians are facilitating the spread of Islamic holy war

Listen to Today's Program Play

The Dutch political leader, Geert Wilders, addressing the British House of Lords told them that liberal political leaders are facilitating the spread of Islamic jihad, Islamic holy war, because they consider Islam as being equal to the culture of the West. Wilders believes that Islam is not compatible with the Western way of life and is a threat to the West - Islam and freedom, Islam and democracy are not compatible - Islam wants to dominate all aspects of life from the cradle to the grave.

Wilders has a film that warns the world of Islam's desire to set up a caliphate, a worldwide kingdom under Islam and holy war as the means to that end.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The spread of radical Islam with the help of liberal politicians is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Today one in every four people on the earth are of the Islamic faith and that number is increasing daily. There are several voices in our world that are shouting out a warning to humankind to be alert to the global designs of Islam. One such voice is that of the Dutch politician Geert Wilders who with his documentary film and lectures around the world, is warning the world that there may be moderate Moslems, the people of Islam, but there is no moderate Islam, the religion. Wilders says that the Islamic holy book, the Koran, calls for a worldwide kingdom under the god of Islam, Allah, and Islamic jihad, holy war, as the means to reaching that goal.

Bible prophecy itself calls for a worldwide kingdom under Jesus Christ, the holy One of the Holy Bible. In fact, God made a promise to King David many years ago that that would happen. It is called the Davidic Covenant recorded in II Samuel 7. The Bible says that there will be a kingdom headquartered in Jerusalem (Zechariah 6:12-13) and it will last for 1000 years (Revelation 20:4-6). The Bible actually contradicts the Koran. The Koran says that the Islamic god Allah had no son. The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the coming King of the worldwide kingdom.

The liberal politicians helping the spread of Islam is indeed helping to set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Jews in Jerusalem and around the world are celebrating Rosh Hashana, the Jewish new year

Listen to Today's Program Play

Rosh Hashana, the new year for the Jewish people, marks 5772 on the Jewish calendar and is one of the 7 Jewish feast days that the Jews celebrate on a yearly basis, a feast day also known as the Feast of Trumpets, a holiday that is very family oriented in Jewish families.

The Jews believe that it was 5772 years ago when God created the heavens, the earth, and all that is in them, a fact that lends itself to the belief that we are living on a young earth.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Rosh Hashana not only marks the new year for the Jewish people, but it is also the day that Jesus Christ will return to earth - that is according to Bible prophecy.

As hundreds of shofars, the ram's horn, were blown in Jerusalem at the Western Wall Plaza, Jews marked the first of the 3 fall Jewish feast days, the Feast of Trumpets known in the Hebrew as Rosh Hashana or the new year, Jews celebrate 5772 as their new year. Jews believe that 5772 year ago the Lord created the heavens, the earth, and all that is in them.

God's chosen people also believe that the act of creation took place on what is today the Temple Mount in Jerusalem which orthodox Jewish scholarship believes is the original site of the Garden of Eden (Isaiah 51:3, Ezekiel 36:35). According to the record of Scripture Jesus Christ fulfilled the prophetic significance of the 4 Spring Jewish feast days. Jesus was crucified on Passover, buried on Unleavened Bread, Resurrected on First Fruits, and the Holy Spirit came to Jerusalem on the Feast of Pentecost as the Lord had promised.

Looking back through history, you can see that Jesus fulfilled those first 4 feasts of the 7 Jewish feast days in the proper day sequences. Thus to be consistent, Jesus must fulfill the last 3 feasts, the Fall feasts, also in the proper day sequences. The next feast to be fulfilled will be the Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashana and that happens when Jesus Christ comes back to the earth. I'm not talking about the Rapture of the Church but the Second Coming of Jesus Christ and that is the time when Jesus will tell the angel to blow the trumpet (Matthew 24:31).

This Rosh Hashana, the new year for the Jewish people, the Feast of Trumpets, is indeed a reminder that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Jewish population of Israel continues to increase, however the Arab population is increasing faster than the Jewish

Listen to Today's Program Play

At the beginning of each Jewish New Year, the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics releases data on the population numbers on all the sectors of the Israeli body politic and the latest numbers indicate that the total population of Israel is nearing the 8 million mark and the report indicates that the population growth among Arabs in Israel is increasing faster than the Jewish population.

Of the total population of Israel there are 5.8 million Jews, 1.6 million Arabs and around 300 thousand additional residents detailed as others, which includes Christians. The population in the disputed territories, Judea and Samaria is growing twice as fast as the general population of the Jewish state which has become a very controversial statistic for those working to bring about peace in Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The report detailing the population figures for the state of Israel is tangible evidence that Bible prophecy is being fulfilled even today.

On the eve of the Jewish New Year, the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics releases the latest numbers for the population of the state of Israel. This year is no exception, and the report reveals that the total population of Israel is nearing the 8 million mark. This report indicated that the Arab population of Israel is growing faster than the Jewish population which has some Israeli officials concerned. In 1948, when the modern day state of Israel came into existence, there were only about 500 thousand Jews in the land, now there are more than ten times that number and growing each year. This is tangible evidence that the prophecies in the Bible are at least in a process of being fulfilled.

The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel wrote that the Lord would find all the Jews scattered for some 2000 years across the world and bring them back to the land of their forefathers, Ezekiel 37:7-11. In fact, the prophet Ezekiel wrote that the Lord would not only bring them into the land He had promised them, but He would make the land better and it was for their forefathers, Ezekiel 36:11.

The ever increasing Jewish population of the state of Israel is indeed tangible evidence that Bible prophecy is and will be fulfilled.

A senior research fellow at the Hudson Institute says that Jewish ties to the Temple Mount will bring peace to the Middle East

Listen to Today's Program Play

Dr. Max Singer a senior research fellow at the Begin Sadat Center for Strategic Studies says the only chance for real peace in the Middle East is if the western nations convince the Arabs that Jewish ties to the Temple Mount will bring about peace in the region.

Singer believes that the continual denial by the PA leadership of the Jewish people's ancient connection to the land of Israel and the sacred significance to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount where once stood two Jewish temples will hinder any peace efforts to the two peoples to coexist in the Middle East and thus only enhance the continuing conflict.

In spite of the fact that the PA Mufti Sheikh Sabri, the high ranking Islamic cleric, claims there has never been a Jewish presence on the Temple Mount, Jewish scholars cite many historic and Biblical sources to confirm that Jews have a 3000 year old connection to the Temple Mount and Jerusalem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The statement by the senior Jewish research fellow that Jewish ties to the Temple Mount will bring peace to the Middle East is right on target according to Bible prophecy.

Dr. Max Singer, the founder and senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, believes that if Jewish ties are restored to the Temple Mount and Jerusalem, there will be peace in the Middle East. Bible prophecy reveals that Dr. Singer is correct in the final outcome in the end of time scenario written by ancient Jewish prophets 2500 years ago. The prophet Samuel wrote in II Samuel 7 that one of King David's descendants would rule the world from a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, that descendant will be Jesus Christ, the Jewish Messiah. Isaiah wrote that when the Temple, the house of the Lord, will be established in Jerusalem, nations would turn their military weapons into farming equipment and they would learn of war no more, thus peace in the world, Isaiah 2:1-4.

As the quest for peace in the Middle East continues, all must agree with the Bible, Jewish ties to the Temple Mount will indeed bring about peace.

The world watched as a 4000 year old conflict unfolded at the United Nations in New York City

Listen to Today's Program Play

For over 6 months a centuries old conflict was in the process of coming to a new phase with efforts to bring about some kind of resolution for the two parties involved, the Jewish state of Israel and the Palestinian people, who want to have a state basically in the place where the Jews are now living. The Palestinian Authority campaigned among the nations of the world to win favor for the unilateral declaration of a Palestinian state with at least some portion of Jerusalem as the capital city for the state of Palestine.

One major problem for the Palestinians has been the division among the Palestinian people with the Palestinian terror organization Hamas refusing to join with the Palestinian Authority and wanting to continue the armed militant struggle against Israel in order to rid the Middle East of a Jewish state.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The recent effort at the United Nations in New York City by the Palestinian Authority to declare unilaterally a Palestinian state is basically a page right out of Bible prophecy.

For many months the leadership of the Palestinian Authority worked among world leaders to prepare the way for a resolution to be passed at the United Nations General Assembly calling for a Palestinian state. World leaders were divided as to how to vote on the United Nations resolution because many believe the only way for the Israeli - Palestinian conflict to be resolved is at the negotiating table. World leaders continue to work at resolving this conflict. Meanwhile, the world watched the center stage where the two parties, the Jews and the Palestinians, diplomatically slugged it out and thus far have come to no final solution.

This 4000 year old conflict will not be resolved until Jesus Christ returns to the earth to set up His kingdom (Obadiah 16-18). Another ancient Jewish prophet, Malachi, predicted that the Palestinians, in Biblical times known as the Edomites, descendants of Esau, these Palestinians would say that they would return to power and build a nation (Malachi 1:4). The Lord responded to that and He said that the borders of the Palestinians would be borders of wickedness and the He, the Lord, would have indignation against the Palestinian people forever. Actually, the activities at the United Nations in New York was setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Iranian President Ahmadinejad says in the new Middle East, there will be no Jewish state of Israel

Listen to Today's Program Play

In a speech marking the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the president, Ahmadinajad, said that with the help of Allah, the new Middle East will turn into a region without the Zionist regime, the Jewish state of Israel, and the entire world will experience the sweet taste of a world without the Zionist thugs.

Hundreds of thousands of Iranians chanting slogans supporting the Arab uprisings marched in the center of Tehran to mark the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution which toppled the Shah of Iran. Death to Israel was the cry from the crowd in the streets celebrating their overthrow of the Iranian leader and the rise of Ayatollah Khomeini to lead the Islamic Republic of Iran and to start the Islamic Revolution throughout the entire Middle East.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Though the Iranian president thinks there will be no Jewish state in the new Middle East, he is absolutely wrong according to Bible prophecy.

With the street demonstrations in Tunisia and Egypt being successful and bringing about the downfall of their longtime leaders, there is developing a new landscape in the Middle East. No political pundit or world leader can predict what the new Middle East will look like, however the Iranian President Ahmadinejad says that the new Middle East will have no Jewish state included in the nations of the region. This continuation of Ahmadinejad's radical rhetoric focused on the Jewish state is once again totally incorrect. The truth is that in the real new Middle East, the Jewish state of Israel will be the major player and Iran will not be included.

The ancient Jewish prophets wrote that an alignment of nations will try to eliminate Israel from the Middle East (Ezekiel 38 and Daniel 11). Jesus in the heavens will intercede and destroy the attackers of Israel (Ezekiel 38:18-39:6). II Samuel 7 reveals the program for the Jewish people in the future in the Davidic Covenant which calls for Jerusalem to be the capital city and the forever location of a Jewish temple for the Jews. Psalm 132:13-14 calls for Jesus Christ the Messiah to dwell among the Jews for ever in Jerusalem, Israel.

Ahmadinejad in once again wrong. The Jews will be in Israel on earth - forever. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Moslem Brotherhood tells their followers to prepare for war against Israel so they can kill Jews

Listen to Today's Program Play

Leaders and clerics in the Moslem Brotherhood are calling for their followers to prepare for war against Israel and one leading brotherhood cleric has called for killing Jews to the very last one. This is the brotherhood that has played a major role in the chaos in the Arab capitals of the Middle East.

As the Moslem Brotherhood rises to power in the Middle East, Israeli leaders see this as consolidating the power of Hamas and its hold on Gaza, a real concern to the Jewish state because the Hamas charter states unequivocally that it wants to eradicate Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

With the rise of the Moslem Brotherhood and the so-called revolution in the Arab world, the endtime scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy comes much better into focus.

One of the major players in the chaos spreading throughout the Arab world is the Moslem Brotherhood, an Islamist terror group that has spawned such terror organizations as Hamas and al Qaeda. The ideology of the brotherhood was made clear by one of its leading preachers based in Qatar who in one of his sermons called for Israel and the Jews to be dealt with by Allah, the Islamic god, who should kill the Jews down to the very last one. This same Moslem Brotherhood preacher in a sermon aired on Al Jazeera claimed that Adolf Hitler was sent by Allah to punish the Jewish people. The brotherhood also supports Hamas, the Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah, all Islamic terror groups who want to eradicate this world of the Jews.

The scenario being played out now in the Arab world was foretold by the ancient Jewish prophets, a message for the last days. Daniel and Ezekiel both revealed that the Arab world would come to power and move to kill the Jews, Daniel 11 and Ezekiel 38. The prophet Joel said this would happen when every Moslem would be ready to form the largest militia ever formed on the earth, Joel 2. Even the Psalmist prophet, Psalm 83 called for the Jews to be destroyed and their name be forgotten forever, Psalm 83:4.

The rise to power of the Moslem Brotherhood and their impact on Middle East events is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

There has been new life discovered in the Dead Sea

Listen to Today's Program Play

It almost seems like a contradiction of terms to read the headline for this story that life, in fact, new life has been discovered in the Dead Sea by a team of Israeli and German scientists and this report comes at a time when the Dead Sea is dangerously low due to evaporation of the salty Dead Sea water.

Deep beneath the sea bed of a body of water long believed incapable of sustaining life, Israeli scientists have found deep fresh water springs and German scientists have discovered microorganisms growing on the sea floor.

While researchers have known for decades that the Dead Sea is a misnomer, the rich variety of life evidenced in the underwater springs and the microorganisms at the bottom of the Dead Sea may lead to new life for this body of water.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Freshwater springs at the bottom of the Dead Sea and newly discovered microorganisms in this body of water set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

For a number of years, I have been reporting on the death of the Dead Sea as this famous body of water has been going down in level almost 3 feet per year. There have been major discoveries that may also be used to save the Dead Sea from death. These underwater springs and even the microorganisms discovered by the marine scientists could well be a lifeline needed for this project.

What is so interesting to a student of Bible prophecy is that two ancient Jewish prophets foretold of freshwater flowing into the Dead Sea and making this body of water, which is ten times saltier than any ocean on earth, a freshwater lake.

Zechariah wrote of what happens after Jesus Christ returns to the earth, how living waters flow from Jerusalem to the former sea in the text which is the Dead Sea, Zechariah 14:8. Ezekiel, in the 47th chapter of his prophecy, wrote of water flowing from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, actually from the Temple itself, down the Kidron Valley, all the way to the Dead Sea, Ezekiel 47:1-8. Verse 8 reveals that the saltwater in the Dead Sea will be healed and the fishermen will dry their fishing nets at Ngedi.

The Dead Sea will indeed be healed.

The 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' ban on gays in the US military has come to an end

Listen to Today's Program Play

After nearly two decades, a policy banning homosexuality in the US military has been repealed which means service members can now reveal they are gay without fear of investigation or discharge.

97% of military personnel have received training on the new law and existing standards of personal conduct such as those pertaining  to public displays of affection are still in place.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The ban on the 'Don't ask, Don't tell' policy for gays in the US military has come to an end; however, this new policy does set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Twenty years ago, a group of military leaders and politicians met to put in place the 'Don't ask Don't tell' policy for the US military as it relates to the gays who wanted to in serve the US armed forces. With that policy being repealed by the US Congress, there is a new policy allowing for gays to serve openly in the US military; howbeit, there are still in place policies prohibiting any show of affection by military personnel publicly. Those service men and women who have been discharged under the 'Don't ask Don't tell' rule are entitled to reenlist and any personnel pending discharge under the old rule will have all charges dropped.

This new policy in the US military has been very controversial and debated at the highest echelons of our government. The Bible also discusses the issue and in fact speaks to the issue as it relates to the end times. Jesus, while teaching His disciples of the events surrounding His second coming, reminded them of how it was in Lot's day in Sodom and Gomorrah when the Lord rained fire and brimstone from Heaven on the city of the Sodomites and destroyed the people and the place for the sin of sodomy or as it is referred to today, homosexuality, Luke 17:28-29. The Lord made it very plain that He loved the Sodomites, but He hated the sin of sodomy and proved His dislike by destroying the entire community. Remember the warning of Jesus Christ when He said as it was in the days of Lot.

This new military policy for gays is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

A huge defunct satellite is falling to earth faster than expected and could be dangerous to earthdwellers

Listen to Today's Program Play

A six and a half ton defunct weather satellite is plunging to the earth much faster than expected because of a sharp increase in solar activity and even though most of this bus sized satellite will burn up on reentry of the earth's atmosphere, at least 26 large pieces of this massive satellite will survive reentry and fall someplace on the earth. Scientists say that there is a 1 in 3200 chance of satellite debris hitting a person on the ground, odds that NASA says are extremely remote and outside experts agree.

NASA is keeping a close watch on the falling satellite but will only be able to pinpoint its actual crash zone to within 6000 miles, about 2 hours before reentry.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Though it is only a remote possibility that a weather satellite plunging to the earth will hit anyone on the earth, there is still much concern and this is only the beginning of what could and will happen according to Bible prophecy.

NASA scientists have been concerned about trash in space for a number of years and are not really ready to deal with the problem. There is a large amount of space debris and a number of defunct satellites that will, at some time in the future, fall to the earth. The most urgent concern is the bus sized 6 and 1/2 ton weather satellite that is due to hit the earth within the next week. Though NASA has assured earthdwellers that there is a remote chance of the debris from the satellite hitting someone, there is a growing concern on the ground. Since the space junk in the earth's atmosphere will most likely one day fall to the earth, there is an ever increasing problem.

According to Bible prophecy items from outer space falling upon the earth will become very damaging in the future time of judgment in that seven year period known as the Tribulation. In Revelation 8:7, it foretells of hail and fire mingled with blood falling on the earth, a time when a third of the trees will be burned up and all the grass will be burned up. A burning mountain will be cast into the sea and one third of the ocean turns to blood while at the same time, one third of the fish die (Revelation 9:8-9). Revelation 8:10-11 reveals that the earth will be hit by a great star named Wormwood, and water sources will be made bitter.

The weather satellite plunging to the earth is simple a foretaste of things to come. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Jordan's King Abdullah says that the Palestinians have the promise of a better future than do the Jewish people of the state of Israel

Listen to Today's Program Play
In a recent gathering of authors and academics at the royal palace in Jordan, King Abdullah told his guests that Israel's position in the Middle East had deteriorated in the wake of the wave of Arab uprisings, a statement that is in opposition of the Israeli officials who believe that the Arab Spring would serve Israel's interests. Abdullah said that Israel's position is more problematic that it has been in the past and the conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians must be resolved or Israel will continue to face major problems.

King Abdullah rejected any proposal that Jordan was the Palestinian state, he said it was a fantasy plan and the king believes that the Palestinians now have a more secure future than does Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Jordan's King Abdullah believes that the Palestinians have a better future that the Jews which is totally in contradiction to Bible prophecy.

In recent statements to a gathering at the royal palace in Amman, Jordan, King Abdullah told his guests that the fate of the Jewish state of Israel had so deteriorated it seemed to him that the Palestinian people have a promise of a much better future than the Jews. The Jordanian king also termed the idea of Jordan as a Palestinian state as pure fantasy and rejected it outright. Jordan is an Arab state with 70% of its population being Palestinian which has caused problems for the Hashemite Kingdom. In fact there are more and more Israeli political and military leaders calling for Jordan to be the state for the Palestinian people. The Bible is the source of history and prophecy that actually deals with this issue.

Genesis 25 records the two sons of Isaac and Rebekah who God said would become two states in the last days (Genesis 25:23). Ezekiel 35, Malachi 1, and the book of Jeremiah all reveal the prewritten history that does call for the Edomites, the Palestinians today, to come to prominence in the end of days. The Palestinians, who are Biblical Edomites, these Palestinians say that they will return, rebuild, and regain power. However, the little book of Obadiah says that they will be as if they have never been a people.

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Thousands of Jews gather at the Temple Mount to declare this sacred piece of real estate belongs to the Jewish people

Listen to Today's Program Play

Thousands of Jews gathered recently at the gates to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to declare their allegiance to this holy site and to declare the city of Jerusalem is the united, undivided, eternal capital of the Jewish people.

Speakers at the rally march said that discrimination has severely restricted the ability of Jews to ascend to the Temple Mount while at the same time Moslem rules forbid Jews from praying on this site which is Judaism's most holy site.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Thousands of Jews marching around the Temple Mount to say that this sacred piece of real estate is Jewish is an event that speaks to the past and to the future that is according to Bible prophecy.

The Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the location of the gold domed building, the Dome of the Rock that is seen on the Jerusalem skyline, is the same as the spot that Abraham took his son Isaac to offer as a sacrifice. This place is Mount Moriah where King Solomon built the first Jewish Temple 3000 years ago, II Chronicles 3:1. The Temple Mount, as it is known today, is also where the Jews returning from the Babylonian captivity rebuilt the Temple, Ezra 1-6.

Today, the Temple Mount is a place of controversy as the ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah said that it would be in the last days, Zechariah 12:2. The Islamic Trust controls the Temple Mount today and they refuse to allow the Jewish worshipers to pray there on the mount, and often they will not even allow the Jews to enter the Temple Mount compound.

By the way, that same Jewish prophet Zechariah also predicted that the Lord was jealous for Jerusalem, aggressively possessive for the city that He chose to dwell among His people forever and He is sore displeased about the heathen control of this sacred spot and He also said that one day He will come back to Jerusalem and to the Temple Mount there to build His Temple that will be on that spot forever, Zechariah 1:14-16 and this is Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

As world leaders work for peace in the Middle East the current peace agreements are unraveling

Listen to Today's Program Play

World leaders in America, Europe, Russia, and the Middle East are working to bring about a peace in the Middle East even as three peace agreements between Israel and their neighbors are actually unraveling and may not be in effect for very long.

The Camp David Accords, a peace agreement between Israel and Egypt, is almost a thing of the past with the present situation in Egypt as is the case with the peace treaty between Israel and Jordan with most Jordanians wanting to dissolve that treaty.

The Oslo Accords, a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, has never been normalized and is not a working agreement because the radical Islamists among the Palestinians have no regard for the treaty and in fact are calling for an armed struggle to eliminate the Jewish state.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

With three different peace agreements between Israel and her neighbors in place the Middle East peace process is in bad shape but it will be rescued according to Bible prophecy.

In 1979, Israel and Egypt signed the Camp David Accords, the first peace treaty that Israel ever signed with an enemy state. The Palestinians and the Israelis also came to an agreement on peace in 1993 with the Oslo Accords. In October of 1994, the late King Hussein of Jordan and the late Yitzhak Rabin prime minister of Israel, both signed a peace treaty between the two nations. What is common with all of these peace agreements is that they never have been normalized. Even the peace envoy for the Quartet, which is the US, EU, UN, and Russia, Tony Blair has not been successful in bringing about peace. However, I must remind you that Bible prophecy does call for a world leader to come on the scene who will be successful in putting a peace treaty in place that he will make work.

Daniel 9:27 says that the Antichrist will confirm a treaty between Israel and her neighbors. I did not say he will sign a treaty, but instead confirm, strengthen, make stronger, make the treaty work. In order for this to happen, there must be a peace treaty or three peace treaties on the table not working. The Antichrist will confirm them.

There are three peace treaties on the table not working, waiting for the Antichrist, a world leader, to appear.

A supercomputer has predicted and will in the future be able to predict upcoming world conflicts and revolutions

Listen to Today's Program Play

According to the research at the University of Illinois feeding a supercomputer with millions of news stories, scientists believe they can predict major world events including regional conflicts and even revolutions like the recent revolutions in Libya and Egypt.

Scientists say they liken this forecasting of conflicts to weather forecasting and the system appears to generate better intelligence than the US government is working with today.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A supercomputer that can predict world conflict before the fact may or may not be totally accurate, but there is a way to know the future, that is by reading the end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

As scientists feed hundreds of millions of news articles into a supercomputer, they are working on developing a way to foretell the future in the area of world conflict and revolutions. This new research seems to have predicted the uprising in the Arab world, the so-called Arab spring with pretty good accuracy; however, pretty good is not perfect as is the written Word of God and its presentation of the end time scenario for the events of the future.

Daniel, the ancient Jewish prophet, in Daniel 11 predicted the rise of Ahazerias, the king of the book of Esther, 57 years before he appeared, Daniel 11:2. He also revealed information about Alexander the Great 200 years before he came to power and 360 years before the fact, Daniel prewrote history about Antiochus Epiphanes who would desecrate the Temple which did happen December 25, 168 BC. Daniel's prophecy, which is prewritten history about the Antichrist found in Daniel 7:8, 9:27, and 11:36-45 will also be fulfilled based on past prophecies being fulfilled. Daniel also wrote of world conflict 2500 years ago which would include Syria, Egypt, and Libya the major Arab nations now on the radar screen, Daniel 11:40-44.

We must not put our trust in a supercomputer that actually can fail, but instead put our trust in Bible prophecy, Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

The Islamic terror organization of al Qaeda says that all Middle Eastern Christians are legitimate targets

Listen to Today's Program Play

Christians across the Middle East have been put on notice by the Islamic state of Iraq, better known as the Iraqi branch of the international branch of the international Islamic terror organization al Qaeda, that all Christians in the Middle East are now legitimate targets. The ministry of war of the Islamic state of Iraq declares that all centers, organizations, and bodies of Christian leaders and followers have become targets wherever their hands can reach them.

The terrorist leaders said that the doors of destruction are open and that Christian blood will flow like a river in the Middle East.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The threat by Islamic terrorists to kill Christians in the Middle East is a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days.

Recently in Baghdad, Iraq a group of Islamic militants entered a church and killed over 60 church goers after they held them hostage for a number of hours. Soon after this horrific attack the Islamic Republic of Iraq, a branch of al Qaeda, declared that all Christians in the Middle East are legitimate targets and their blood will flow like a river. This declaration by Islamic militants on the Middle Eastern Christian community is that page of Bible prophecy that can be found in a number of prophetic passages.

Though true born again Christians will depart the world at the Rapture of the Church there will be many others that will become believers, followers of Jesus Christ in the seven year Tribulation period (Revelation 7:9, I Thessalonians 4:13-18). During the Tribulation period these new believers in Jesus Christ will be martyred because of their faith (Revelation 6:9-11). John the Revelator wrote of the Tribulation saints that will be killed, many of them beheaded, for their witness for Jesus and for the Word of God (Revelation 20:4-6).

Threats from the Islamic militants to kill Christians in the Middle East is indeed a page from Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

As America marks the 10th anniversary of the horrific terror attack on 9-11, it is a reminder that it could happen again

Listen to Today's Program Play

America at this time in history is becoming more and more a divided nation as we face economic uncertainty, a difference of opinion on social issues of abortion and gay rights, and already in full swing is the campaign season for the next presidential election, a campaign that could become very dirty before its all over. However there is one thing that has brought most Americans together and that is the remembering of the horrific attack on America 10 years ago by Islamic radicals. But at the same time, we mark the 10th anniversary 9-11, it is also a stark reminder that there is every possibility that it could happen again in the near future.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

As America marks the 10th anniversary of 9-11 there is every evidence that radical elements in our world today have plans for other attacks not only on America but around the world, a fact that is confirmed by Bible prophecy.

The most devastating attack on America took place on September 11, 2001 as Islamic radicals launched 3 different attacks on our nation. One on the Twin Towers in New York City, one on the Pentagon in Washington D.C., and one other that failed but ended when brave Americans sacrificed their lives to bring down their commercial airliner before it could do any more destruction on an unknown site. The response to those attacks was the pronounced war on terror across the world. Over this last 10 years, that war has been partially successful with the assassination of the leader of the 9-11 attacks, Osama Bin Laden. However, the war is far from over. The radical Islamists, driven by their religion and a desire to set up a caliphate, a worldwide dominion with the implementation of Sharia Law, the law of the Koran in this world, is evidence that another 9-11 could and will take place in the future.

The ancient Jewish prophets foretold of a time in history as in the case in our world today. Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38, and Psalm 83 all reveal the alignment of nations that want to annihilate Israel but first they must take out America. Joel 2 tells of the world's largest militia that will be formed to accomplish the end time goal of radical Islam that worldwide kingdom, a caliphate.

The 10th anniversary of 9-11 is indeed a stark reminder that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Palestinian Authority president says that Jerusalem will be the Palestinian capital city

Listen to Today's Program Play

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas told the American peace envoy that the Palestinian people will not accept any other city for the capital for their Palestinian state except Jerusalem and the Palestinians would insist on receiving control over the eastern section of the city of Jerusalem. The Palestinian Authority president says it is very important that it would be clear which part of the capital, Jerusalem, belongs to the Palestinians and which part belongs to Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The claim by the President of the Palestinian Authority that Jerusalem will be the capital of a Palestinian state is in contradiction to Bible prophecy for the last days and the Israelis and the Palestinians.

The Palestinians since 1967 have been claiming that their state, Palestine, that this state will have Jerusalem as its capital city. Meanwhile, the Israeli leaders say that Jerusalem is the eternal, undivided capital of the Jewish people. There seems to be no middle ground for the Jews and the Palestinians and neither side is ready to compromise.

There are several thoughts that come to mind as I consider this complex situation. First of all, history reveals that there never has been a Palestinian state and thus Jerusalem has never been its capital. Secondly, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is about more than Jerusalem. The Palestinians don't want a Jewish state they want all of the land of Israel as their Palestinian state.

Bible prophecy speaks to both issues. The ancient Jewish prophets Ezekiel, Malachi, Jeremiah, and Obadiah say that in the end the Palestinians will be destroyed (Ezekiel 35, Malachi 1, Jeremiah 49, and the little book of Obadiah. Zechariah says that Jerusalem will be the center of controversy in the last days (Zechariah 12:2). But Zechariah also quotes Jesus in chapter 1:14-16 where it says Jesus will come back to Jerusalem and build His temple in the city.

The final solution for Jerusalem will be resolved by Bible prophecy - Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

Jews in Jerusalem have raised millions of dollars to be ready for the coming of the Messiah

Listen to Today's Program Play

The Temple Institute in Jerusalem is leading the way in preparations to build the next Temple on the Temple Mount and most of every day this organization is preparing for the arrival of the Messiah in Jerusalem.

Yehuda Glick, the Executive Director of the Temple Institute, says the Temple Institute has become a fixture of evangelical tours in Israel and that largely to their donations, the Temple Institute has spent around 27 million dollars on the preparations for the next Temple to be built in Jerusalem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Temple Institute in Jerusalem has raised the monies to make preparations for the building of the next Temple in Jerusalem and they believe that they could start building at any time, a fact that is confirmed by Bible prophecy.

For over twenty years, the Temple Institute in Jerusalem has been working to make ready everything needed to erect the next Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount. They have biblical harps, the menorah, the table of shewbread, the priestly garments, even the garments for the high priest and they know where the Ark of the Covenant is located as well. Yehuda Glick, executive director of the Temple Institute, says that we live in a day of miracles and all that is predicted in the Bible, which will happen on the eve of the end of days, could happen today or tomorrow.

Glick's statement is confirmed by Bible prophecy. Ezekiel 40-46 gives a description of the Messiah's Temple that will be built when the Messiah returns to Jerusalem. We know that because Zechariah 6:12 says that the Messiah will come back and build His Temple where He will rule and reign forever, Zechariah 6:13. However, the Bible also speaks of a Temple in Jerusalem before the Messiah's Temple as foretold in Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4 and revelation 11:1.

All preparations have been made for the next Temple to be built in Jerusalem. There's only one thing that must happen before the Temple is erected and that is the Rapture, when Jesus Christ will call all Christians into the heavens to be with Him forevermore.

Jordan's ambassador to the US says Jerusalem is a ticking time bomb

Listen to Today's Program Play

The Jordanian Ambassador to the United States says that Jerusalem is a ticking time bomb where an attack by Jewish extremists on Moslem holy sites could erase any chances for peace between Israel and the Palestinians also undermining stability in the entire Moslem world. The ambassador said his country was worried that an incident on the Temple Mount could unleash emotions of an extreme nature and the consequences would be very severe.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The statement by the Jordanian ambassador to the United States that Jerusalem is a ticking time bomb is actually a page out of Bible prophecy.

From 1948 through 1967 and the Six Day War, the Jordanian government had control of the Al Aqsa Mosque, the Islamic mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. In fact, the Jordanians controlled the entire Temple Mount and allowed no Jews to enter the complex. The late King Hussein released control of the Temple Mount compound to the Palestinian Authority who have had custodial responsibilities of this holy site for the last 16 years. The Palestinian-Islamic Trust controls who can or cannot enter the compound. The Temple Mount or the Al-Aqsa, as the Moslems refer to this site, is the Islamic world's third holiest site. To the Jews and the Christians, it is their holiest site in the universe.

The statement by the Jordanian envoy is, in truth, reality. The Temple Mount, is indeed, a ticking time bomb. As I stated, this statement is a page out of Bible prophecy found in the prophetic book of Zechariah. The ancient Jewish prophet revealed 2500 years before the fact that Jerusalem and in particular the Temple Mount would be the center of controversy in the last days (Zechariah 12:2-3, 1:14-16). The prophetic phrase, "a cup of trembling" found in Zechariah 12:2 means that those who control this holy site will be intoxicated with power and will do so until the Messiah Jesus Christ returns to build His temple on this holy site.

Jerusalem as a ticking time bomb does set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

There are reports that the Dead Sea could dry up in the next several years - but there may be a solution

Listen to Today's Program Play
For a number of years, the Dead Sea, located in the Jordan Valley with the Eastern shore in Jordan and the Western shore in Israel, the Dead Sea has been losing its water and now it's sinking by about three feet per year which is causing fears both in Jordan and Israel that the Dead Sea could literally dry up by the year 2050.

One of the main ideas being considered by Jordan and Israel is the Red Dead Conveyance Project, a project that would involve digging a canal and using a series of water pipeline conduits that could bring water from the Red Sea to the Dead Sea in order to bring the Dead Sea water level back to normal.

The project would take over 20 years to complete and would cost as much as 15 billion dollars at today's values, but when completed, the project would bring about a new source of electric energy for the region, create new recreational areas to draw tourists to the area, and save one of the wonders of the world, the Dead Sea, which is located at the lowest spot on the earth.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Red Dead Project could save the Dead Sea, but it also may be a project that will set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

For a number of years, Middle East politicos, governmental leaders, and engineers have been talking about the Red Dead Project and how it could be the answer to the ever increasing problem at the Dead Sea and its loss of water. In search of a solution for this problem, Israeli President Shimon Peres presented the Red Dead Project to a regional gathering of political leaders, governmental officials and bankers.

This momentous project would take years and cost billions of dollars, but would also ultimately pay for itself in the long run. There are those who say this type of project could produce great wealth like the silver and gold that could be extracted from the Dead Sea, enough money to pay the national debts of almost every nation in the world.

In the book of Ezekiel 38:13, the prophet mentions the gold and silver that will attract Israel's enemies to come to destroy the Jewish state. Later in Ezekiel 47, he mentions how water from the Temple in Jerusalem will actually flow down to the Dead Sea and make it a freshwater lake, not 10 times saltier than the ocean as it is today.

A focus on the Dead Sea is indeed a prop on the stage for the end times scenario that will be fulfilled.

A Jewish rabbi in Jerusalem is calling for Jews to stop praying at the Western Wall

Listen to Today's Program Play

Rabbi Yehuda Glick, of an organization called "The Movement for the Establishment of the Temple", says that the Jewish people have become psychologically connected, over the centuries, to the Western Wall of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem because the rebuilding of the temple seems like an impossible task. Rabbi Glick says that about 25 years ago Jews started to ascend to the Temple Mount even though it was a very small group but now hundreds are now on a regular basis going up on to the Temple Mount to offer their prayers.

The rabbi is now calling for Jews to unite and make every effort to go on to this sacred location for every Jew, the Temple Mount, and become focused on the rebuilding of the next temple in Jerusalem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The call by a rabbi in Jerusalem to ascend to the Temple Mount in preparation for the next Jewish temple on this sacred site, is the next step to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

Rabbi Yehuda Glick for a number of years directed the efforts of the Temple Institute to prepare for the building of the next Jewish temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Temple Institute has all the implements needed to operate the temple including the knowledge of the location of the Ark of the Covenant. All 28,000 priests, to be used in the next temple, have been trained and even their priestly garments are either made or being made right now.

However, Rabbi Glick now believes it is time to prepare the Jewish people to become accustomed to ascending the Temple Mount, not only for learning and prayer, but to be involved in the Temple practices as well. That's why he says no more prayers at the Western Wall but instead, let's go up on to the Temple Mount.

God's prophetic Word does say that in the last days the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will return to build the temple on the Temple Mount (Zechariah 1:16, 6:12). That temple built by the Messiah will be His kingdom temple where He reigns for 1000 years. However, before the Messiah's temple is built on the Temple Mount there will be a Tribulation temple (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1).

Jews ascending onto the Temple Mount today are actually setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

If oil hits a certain price, the world will no longer want Israel to exist

Listen to Today's Program Play

The head of Israel's National Economic Council, Eugene Kandel, recently told a gathering of energy and business people here in Israel that there is a price per barrel of oil at which Israel will no longer be able to exist and the world will no longer want Israel to exist.

Kandel said various energy agencies forecast the price of oil will reach $200 per barrel during the next decade because of the rising demand from the Far East and there is increasing dependency in India and China on oil from the Persian Gulf.

Kandel told the conference attendees that if Israel does not do something, those countries dependent on Middle Eat oil will be dependent on countries that are unfriendly to Israel, countries that will no longer want Israel to exist.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

With the ever-increasing demand for oil in our world today, the price for crude oil will rise above $200 per barrel which will cause the world no longer to want Israel to exist, a scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Each of us, as we fill up our car gas tanks, are very aware of the ever rising price of oil, a direct result of the ever expanding demand for oil. There are many petroleum experts that say oil will rise in price to $200 per barrel and most likely in the next decade. These oil producing nations hate Israel and would like to have the Jewish state go away.

The ancient Jewish prophets Daniel and Ezekiel both prewrote history, a prediction that we see unfolding today. Daniel refers to Syria and Egypt, Daniel 11:40-43, as a part of an alignment of nations who want Israel no longer to exist. Ezekiel wrote in chapter 38 additional names of nations that will look for a way to destroy Israel, that coalition includes: Turkey and Libya, plus Iran, the second largest producer of oil in our world. Even the Psalmist in Psalm 83 mentions Saudi Arabia, the world's largest producer of oil, as one of the alignment of nations that do not want Israel to exist and will do something about it one day, a day not too far into the future.

The price of oil is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
