JD: David could you give us a little bit more of the background on the Roe vs Wade decision and Norma McCorvey?
DJ: Well it goes back to 1970 and there was a lawyer looking for someone to advance the case of a pro-abortion movement. They found Norma McCorvey who later became known as Jane Roe in this Roe vs Wade decision. She was 21 years old and she already had had one child with a second child on the way. In fact, the lawyers would not allow her to get an abortion because they needed to have someone who was wanting to have an abortion and so she became a political pawn in this.
In 1973 the decision was written by Justice Harry Blackman
he established the Constitutional right to terminate a pregnancy as guaranteed under
right of privacy. So they did it under right of privacy which is a very much a stretch
in my understanding of the Constitution. I can’t imagine that the founders would
have ever anticipated something like that based upon the right to privacy
clause. But later McCorvey who actually never ever ended up having an abortion
and had three daughters she later became a face of the Right to Life movement.
So she for decades advocated for pro-life which a lot of people don’t know. And
she died last year or year before I believe.
And then as far as the results there’s a website called
numberofabortion.com and it actually has abortion counters. Today in the United
States there will be over 1200 abortions, can you imagine. There have been over
60 million abortions in the United States alone since 1973 and when you average
that out there are nearly 500,000 abortions in the United States every year.
What a tragic result of that decision.

are murdered each day here in America. They are actually murdered because of
the Supreme Court decision on the issue of abortion due to the ruling on the
Roe vs Wade issue. The highest authority in our world the Bible says that abortion
is murder and that is determined in Psalm 139 and Jeremiah 1:5. And do please
remember murder is blasphemy towards God, Genesis 9:6 and blasphemy a sin of
the end times that’s Revelation chapter 13.
