Religious Jews in Jerusalem mark the first annual international Temple Mount Awareness Day

A number of Jewish organizations have come together to mark the first annual international Temple Mount Awareness Day calling for Jews, Gentiles, and Christians to ascend to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in a show of solidarity with the Jewish people and their most sacred holy site, the Temple Mount.

The Israeli police have stopped anyone who is not a Moslem from entering the Temple Mount declaring the site off limits and citing that Arab threats to commit violence as a response and to attack anyone desiring to enter the Temple Mount and to mark this holy day of the Jewish people.

Many Moslem leaders have claimed that the Jews want to go onto the Temple Mount to begin reconstruction of the Jewish Temple and these Moslem leaders called for thousands of Moslems to come to the Temple Mount to stop any efforts of restoration of a Jewish Temple on this site.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Thousands of Jews and Moslems gathering at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in protest is evidence that the end of times scenario for this sacred spot, according to Bible prophecy, is very near to fulfillment.

On the very first international Temple Mount Awareness Day, thousands of Jews and Moslems demonstrated against the other to stop certain activities on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. This entire report is evidence that God's Word, the Bible, is right on target as it relates to the future for the Temple Mount.

The ancient Jewish prophet, Zechariah, reveals that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will return to build His Temple on the Temple Mount, Zechariah 1:16 and 6:12. Ezekiel, another Jewish prophet, gives us all the details surrounding the rebuilding of the Messiah's Temple and these details are found in Ezekiel 40-46. The prophet Samuel recorded the Davidic Covenant, God's promise to Israel's King David of a Temple in Jerusalem forever and Jesus on His throne in that Temple, II Samuel 7. I must remind you that the prophet Zechariah also foretold of the controversy surrounding the Temple Mount in Jerusalem just before Messiah comes back to Jerusalem to build His Temple, Zechariah 12:2-3.

Jewish and Moslem demonstrations at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
