The world needs to know the truth behind the Nakba Day conflict at Israel's border and the Gaza Strip

Listen to Today's Program Play

JD:  How can you update us on this border situation?

IM: There are two things, first of all, the masses of people who were sent there were sent there by Hamas, literally to be killed. These were the words of a Senior Palestinian Authority leader and he appeared on Palestinian television, criticizing Hamas, saying, "Why are you sending people out just so  you can come to the world and say you are heroes, you are sending them out to be killed." And the person saying this is one of the top Palestinian leaders, and advisor to Mahmoud Abbas.

So first of all, motivation, Hamas knows that they can't conquer Israel so they want to delegitimize Israel so they are sending people out, literally, to be killed so that Hamas can then go and run to the world and say "oh my, look Israelis are killing all of our people". Now the second thing that is important to note is that Israel has been very careful about using it's fire power; with tens of thousands of people trying to breach the fence between the two areas, there could have been many more killed and Israel killed 61 people, that Hamas has already admitted that 50 of them were actually Hamas members, meaning they were terrorist. And Islamic jihad said three of their people were killed, so we know of at least 53 of the 61 that were killed were Hamas terrorist or Islamic jihad terrorist. So its telling us that Israel is actually being very very careful and its Hamas and their terrorist who are trying to breach it and who are  trying to shoot and who are trying to set bombs; these are the people who are responsible and these are the people who are getting killed.

Christians had an influence in the move ot the US Embassy to Jerusalem

Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: Winkie also during the ceremony I noticed the Christian participation, for example a Pastor, Pastor Jeffries from the First Baptist Church in Dallas, with the opening prayer; then John Hagee, Pastor in San Antonio, Texas gave the closing prayer. Was it controversial, and how did these men get that opportunity to be involved in the ceremony?

WM: You are a better witness then I am Jimmy, but Menachim Begin, in 1977 when he became Prime Minister, reached out to what I would call the Evangelical Christian community of Bible believers in the United States and that development has been a long time in coming, I think. As much as Christian Zionism has helped the State of Israel, going all the way back even before Herz. Talking about the restoration, ideology in England, in the Netherlands and other places of Christian Europe there has been this relationship and it has to be nurtured and defined and mutual in the sense of politics and faith. And now we are seeing the fruition, Israel is getting a lot of attention and support from influential circles. Politicians are listening to their voters. And I think that we, in Israel, are giving the Evangelical community in the United States the ability to say our approach to the Bible and to understanding its history, is true and reliable. The interpretation of what the book says, what we believe God is saying to us, I think it is a beautiful relationship and I hope it is maintained and continued in the proper delineation's of how we work together to face communities.

JD: Winkie Medad with that report on the Christian influence on the US Embassy move to Jerusalem. We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem was a campaign promise made by President Trump that he followed through with like other Presidents before him had not done. I believe that President Trump followed through on his promise because of the Christian community in the United States. That said, it was not a political move but a prophetic one, as well.

Jerusalem is the key city of the future according to Bible prophecy. Jerusalem will be the center of controversy until Jesus Christ comes back, Zechariah 12:2; and then Jerusalem will be the center of the universe forever, II Samuel 7:10-17.

Jerusalem is not only the political capital of the state of Israel but it is the universal capital as well, and that is forever

Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: I thought it would be pretty helpful for us to think about the significance of Jerusalem.

DJ: And certainly there is no more important city in all of the world. Not only is it the capital of Israel and ultimately will be the capital of the world. It will actually be the capital of the universe and the capital of God’s theocratic kingdom not only during the millennial reign of Christ but then in the new heavens and the new earth it will be the headquarters of God's theocratic kingdom for all of eternity. So, I think it’s always right and helpful for us to bring attention to that and to help our listeners really understand this because we are living in a time where the vast majority of the world in fact, even the vast majority of Christians would deny those facts.

JD: Well certainly the regions surrounding Jerusalem figures into God’s plan from the very first to the very last chapter of the Bible.

DJ: Well that’s right it’s mentioned hundreds of times and as we know the Rabbi’s actually believe that Mount Mariah which is where Abraham was going to sacrifice his son Isaac and where ultimately the holy of hollies stood in the first and second Temples. That was actually the foundation stone upon which God created Adam. But clearly that place which is also identified as Zion and also as God’s holy mountain which is symbolic of God’s place of rule throughout the universe, the holy mountain of God that’s traced all the way through scripture and it seems like every time we turn around in scripture the emphases back there and ultimately there will be an earthly Jerusalem. But then we also read and at the end of Revelation that the new Jerusalem was descending out of heaven as a bride adorned for her wedding. So, it would just really be impossible to over state the significance of the holy city of Jerusalem.

JD: David James with Bible in hand giving us the significance of the city of Jerusalem.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The word Jerusalem is mentioned 764 times in the Bible from Genesis all the way through to Revelation. The Bible tells us that Jerusalem is the political capital of Israel, that’s II Samuel chapter 5. It is also the spiritual capital of the Jewish State, II Samuel chapter 6 and the eternal capital of Israel and in fact, the entire universe as well, that’s II Samuel chapter 7. This information all according to God’s plan for the holy city Jerusalem, forever.

Iran has threatened to wipe Israel off the face of the earth however, they are now rethinking that statement

Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: They’re serious about this situation and from their military operations in Syria they are ready to try to do what they promised wipe Israel off the face of the earth it seems like to me.

KT: They are Jimmy, but as I have argued I think the Israeli’s have exercised strategic deterrence here and I think what we are witnessing is extraordinary. We’re going to know whether Israel succeeds into deterring Iran or whether it doesn’t succeed in deterring Iran. I happen to believe that the Iranians are going to respond to the Israeli air strikes in Syria. They hit over 50 targets you know in the early mornings hours and all of those targets were where the Revolutionary Guards had set up shop, set up missile launchers, and had bases, they were training Hezbollah. And Israel hit all of those targets with apparent impunity. They didn’t lose a single aircraft. Syrian air defenses went on alert. We’re told launched missiles against the Israeli air force fighter planes but none of them hit.

Israel showed it can do whatever it wants, it dominates the skies of Syria; the Iranian can do nothing. This is very important to the Iranian mind set. They have just been shown a second time by Israel that Israel is far more powerful than Iran is. The first time remember was when the Israeli Mossad got the entire Iranian atomic archive out of Teheran. They went into the most secret location in all of Iran and acquired the most sensitive documents that had been locked up there.

These two cases I believe have created strategic deterrence. I think the Iranian regime is spooked I think they are afraid and while they may launch some retaliatory attacks against Israel my guess is that they are towering not getting ready to attack.

JD: Ken Timmerman with his insight into the Iranian threat to Israel.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Bible prophecy calls for Iran to join a coalition of nations with an endeavor to try and wipe Israel off the map. Iran’s recent conflict with Israel saw some 50 Iranian military sites in Syria destroyed. Now the Iranian military is reconsidering how to deal with the Jewish State. However, Bible prophecy calls for Iran to join the Islamic coalition to destroy Israel, that’s Ezekiel 38:5 and Daniel 11:24.

These prophecies are absolute. Iran will attack Israel to destroy the Jewish State and it will be sooner rather than later.
