The exiled leader of the Palestinian terror group Hamas, Khaled Mashaal, meeting with Iranian President Ahmadinejad in Tehran said the Palestinians would never cease to resist Israel's illegal regime which Mashaal said is on the brink of extinction.
Ahmadinejad told Mashaal that the Palestinian resistance has completely dispirited the Zionists and that the Palestinians had emerged victorious due to their determination to drive the occupiers out of their land. Mashaal also met with Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Alli Khomeine who congratulated the Palestinians on their fight against Israel and said the Jewish state was helpless in the face of the Palestinian struggle.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The statement by a Palestinian leader that Israel is on the brink of extinction may be a Palestinian goal, but it is totally incorrect according to Bible prophecy.
The recent statements by Khaled Mashaal, the exiled Hamas leader, that Israel was on the brink of extinction is actually a statement of purpose for the Palestinian people who are involved in their struggle against the Jewish state of Israel. Mashaal has been orchestrating the Hamas violence against the Jewish state from Damascus, Syria and has not only enlisted the support of Syria, but also the Iranian-Islamic regime of Ahmadinejad and the ayatollahs to destroy the Jewish state of Israel. This present-day scenario fits like a hand in a glove with the prophetic scenario found in the Bible.
Ezekiel 35 reveals that the Palestinians will rise up to take the land of Israel as their own land. In Malachi 1, the prophecy says the Palestinian people will set their borders and the Lord will call them the borders of wickedness. Obadiah foretells of the end of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He writes that it comes at the Return of Jesus Christ back to the Earth. Until then, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict will continue, but there will be no total destruction of the Jewish people or the Jewish nation.
