According to Scotland in London, a plot to blow up planes in flight from the UK to the US and to commit mass murder on an unimaginable scale has been disrupted and the ongoing investigation has global dimensions as it relates to the worldwide war on terror.
The former Soviet Refusenik and Israeli Cabinet Minister Natan Sharansky says that Israel's war against Hezbollah is a test case for the free world in the war against terror saying that if Israel fails, Europe will be threatened and Israel's very survival in the middle East is at stake. Sharansky said that Israel is the center of the larger war that is developing between the free world and terror, and the world must have the resolve to defeat terrorist groups including Hezbollah.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The threat of terror in the world today is a part of the scenario for the Last Days that is found in Bible prophecy. The horrific events of 9-11 in New York City and Washington, D.C. put the fear of God in the hearts of the people in the US, a people who thought they were immune to terrorist attacks.
As Natan Sharansky stated, Israel has been the center of terror, and thus has become the center of the war on terror. One of the characteristics of terrorism is that it spawns terror among potential victims of these terrorist groups. This scenario is found within the pages of Bible prophecy for the Last Days.
John wrote in Revelation, the last book of the Bible which describes the Last Days, that evil personified in the world dictator known as Antichrist will terrorize all the world to the extent that everyone is made to worship him, one who is a militant world leader, that's found in Revelation 13 and Daniel 11:36-39. In fact, in order to survive in the days of judgment to come, the seven year Tribulation Period, everyone that wants to buy food so that can even exist must take the mark of the Antichrist, this one world leader, that's Revelation 13:12-18.
The threat of terror in our world today is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
