When the Israeli Defense Force took the Temple Mount during the Six Day War it was a major step in the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem

JD: Winkie, you are a man who knows what’s going on as it relates to the preparations to rebuild the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount. How significant was it for the Sixty-seven War to take place and the taking of the Temple Mount by the Jewish military in order to rebuild that Temple? This was a key component in what they had to have and be ready to do to build the Temple, correct?

WM: I would agree with you and on many occasions I’ve always said that the Sixty-seven War was simply a continuation of the 1948 war. I think I once told you that I was here as a student in 1966-1967 I remember walking to places where you could look over the wall at Mt Zion into the Old City. Maybe in 1948 the attachment maybe wasn’t as great as it was in 1967. In a certain since perhaps wait nineteen years and then see how you feel about the loss of the Western Wall and the Old City and everything else inside. So, the unification I think ever since then has been very strongly up holded and I think that the stages if we open our eyes reveals to us.

You follow the news as much as I do the amount of Jews going up now days to the Temple Mount hundred to two hundred a day. On Jerusalem Day there was two thousand. That wasn’t the case ten years ago or fifteen years ago. So, obviously things are moving along in the direction. It’s very difficult for humans to measure God’s time but we just have to do our job and hope that the Biblical prophecies and God’s intervention will help things out here and there once in a while.

JD: Winkie Medad explaining why the taking of the Temple Mount in the Six Day War was key for the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Winkie Medad reported how important it was for the reunification of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. It set the stage for the rebuilding of the Temple for the Jewish people. Daniel 9:27 says that there will be a Temple on the Temple Mount in the near future. Matthew 24:15, Jesus Christ confirms that fact. II Thessalonians 2:4 also reveals a Temple in Jerusalem. Revelation 11:2 says that is absolute truth.

The Israeli Defense Force capturing the Temple Mount in the Sixty-seven War set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
