An Islamic terrorist leader says the Israeli government is the weakest in the country's history

In what seems to be a response to the Israeli Security Cabinet's decision to hold off on a military operation in the Gaza Strip, an Islamic terrorist leader, the spokesman for the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, says the current Israeli government is the weakest in the country's history.

Mashir al Mashri said the Israelis are unable to deal with the Palestinians and the rockets and they know they cannot launch a wide-scale military operation in Gaza, because if they do, the Gaza Strip will become a graveyard for Israeli soldiers. Meanwhile, Egypt attempts to broker a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, even as the Hamas rockets continue to fall across Israel, which is a part of the Palestinian armed struggle against the Jewish state.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Israel's perceived weakness by Islamic terrorist groups will set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

In the summer of 2006, the Iranian terrorist group Hezbollah stood up to the once considered invincible Israeli Defense Force (IDF) and the Moslem would announced they had put the mighty IDF on the run. Israel could be defeated. That perception in the Arab and Moslem world has been enhanced by the indecision of the Israeli government under the leadership of PM Olmert to go into the Gaza Strip and deal with the relentless rocket attacks on Israeli communities surrounding it.

Daniel, Ezekiel and the Psalmist, all Jewish prophets, record the pre-written history of this region and the Jewish state. There will be a coalition of Moslem nations, Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38 and Paslm 83, that will move to destroy the Jewish state in the Last Days. Malachi, Ezekiel, Jeremiah and Obadiah reveal that the Palestinians will lead the way, which indeed is the case today.

The Moslem perception that Israel is weak could be what triggers this massive attack on Israel as foretold by the ancient Jewish prophets and it could happen very soon.
