Thousands of Arabs rushed the borders of Israel in order to stop the Judaizaion of Jerusalem

Listen to Today's Program Play

This year on the annual Land Day, a time when the Arab world marks what happened in 1976 as the Israeli government expanded the Jewish settlement area and set up the Jewish settlements as the first line of defense for the Israeli people and the Arab world remembers that as a terrible time.  Since that time the Palestinians hold Nakba Day, Nakba meaning catastrophe, and today its called Land Day - they do this for the purpose of keeping in the minds of the Palestinian people a time that they believe was a catastrophe for their desires to have a Palestinian state.

This year Arabs from the Arab world called for Land Day to be a time when thousands of Arabs would rush the borders of Israel but also they would call and demand that the Israelis stop Judaizing Jerusalem or the Arab world would breach Israeli borders and march to Jerusalem to stop the Israeli people from taking over the city of Jerusalem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The call for thousands of Arabs to rush Israel's borders on Land Day and their demand that Israel stop Judaizing Jerusalem is a precursor to the end of times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Palestinians in Israel have marked Land Day since 1976, an annual event, that reminds all Palestinians of the catastrophe that took place back then as they remember the Israeli government setting in motion a plan for the security of the Israeli people.  In 1976 the Israeli government set the Jewish settlers in the settlements located in Judea and Samaria as the nation's first line of defense.  This plan put in place by Ariel Sharon has been effective down through the years.  Now, annually, the Palestinians mark this day as a day of catastrophe and this year they have added the demand that Israel stop Judaizing Jerusalem.

As the ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah wrote 2500 years ago, Jerusalem has become the center of controversy and this will only intensify in the future (Zechariah 12:2-3).  God has a plan for Jerusalem and the Jewish people.  The Messiah Jesus Christ will build a temple in Jerusalem (Zechariah 1:16, 6:12).  Then He will rule and reign from that temple in Jerusalem forever (Zechariah 6:13).

Arab protests or not Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

There has been new life discovered in the Dead Sea

Listen to Today's Program Play

It almost seems like a contradiction of terms to read the headline for this story that life, in fact, new life has been discovered in the Dead Sea by a team of Israeli and German scientists and this report comes at a time when the Dead Sea is dangerously low due to evaporation of the salty Dead Sea water.

Deep beneath the sea bed of a body of water long believed incapable of sustaining life, Israeli scientists have found deep fresh water springs and German scientists have discovered microorganisms growing on the sea floor.

While researchers have known for decades that the Dead Sea is a misnomer, the rich variety of life evidenced in the underwater springs and the microorganisms at the bottom of the Dead Sea may lead to new life for this body of water.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Freshwater springs at the bottom of the Dead Sea and newly discovered microorganisms in this body of water set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

For a number of years, I have been reporting on the death of the Dead Sea as this famous body of water has been going down in level almost 3 feet per year. There have been major discoveries that may also be used to save the Dead Sea from death. These underwater springs and even the microorganisms discovered by the marine scientists could well be a lifeline needed for this project.

What is so interesting to a student of Bible prophecy is that two ancient Jewish prophets foretold of freshwater flowing into the Dead Sea and making this body of water, which is ten times saltier than any ocean on earth, a freshwater lake.

Zechariah wrote of what happens after Jesus Christ returns to the earth, how living waters flow from Jerusalem to the former sea in the text which is the Dead Sea, Zechariah 14:8. Ezekiel, in the 47th chapter of his prophecy, wrote of water flowing from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, actually from the Temple itself, down the Kidron Valley, all the way to the Dead Sea, Ezekiel 47:1-8. Verse 8 reveals that the saltwater in the Dead Sea will be healed and the fishermen will dry their fishing nets at En Gedi.

The Dead Sea will indeed be healed.

As world leaders work for peace in the Middle East the current peace agreements are unraveling

Listen to Today's Program Play

World leaders in America, Europe, Russia, and the Middle East are working to bring about a peace in the Middle East even as three peace agreements between Israel and their neighbors are actually unraveling and may not be in effect for very long.

The Camp David Accords, a peace agreement between Israel and Egypt, is almost a thing of the past with the present situation in Egypt as is the case with the peace treaty between Israel and Jordan with most Jordanians wanting to dissolve that treaty.

The Oslo Accords, a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians, has never been normalized and is not a working agreement because the radical Islamists among the Palestinians have no regard for the treaty and in fact are calling for an armed struggle to eliminate the Jewish state.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

With three different peace agreements between Israel and her neighbors in place the Middle East peace process is in bad shape but it will be rescued according to Bible prophecy.

In 1979, Israel and Egypt signed the Camp David Accords, the first peace treaty that Israel ever signed with an enemy state. The Palestinians and the Israelis also came to an agreement on peace in 1993 with the Oslo Accords. In October of 1994, the late King Hussein of Jordan and the late Yitzhak Rabin prime minister of Israel, both signed a peace treaty between the two nations. What is common with all of these peace agreements is that they never have been normalized. Even the peace envoy for the Quartet, which is the US, EU, UN, and Russia, Tony Blair has not been successful in bringing about peace. However, I must remind you that Bible prophecy does call for a world leader to come on the scene who will be successful in putting a peace treaty in place that he will make work.

Daniel 9:27 says that the Antichrist will confirm a treaty between Israel and her neighbors. I did not say he will sign a treaty, but instead confirm, strengthen, make stronger, make the treaty work. In order for this to happen, there must be a peace treaty or three peace treaties on the table not working. The Antichrist will confirm them.

There are three peace treaties on the table not working, waiting for the Antichrist, a world leader, to appear.

The radical Islamic element of the body politic of Egypt has a firm grip on this nation's future

Listen to Today's Program Play

Egypt's newly empowered Islamists have recently tightened their grip on the control of this the largest of Arab nations in the Middle East which will have an effect on the future of the entire Middle East.

The radical Islamist organization, the Moslem Brotherhood, has at least 75% of the membership of the Egyptian Parliament and as they rebuild the political structure of their nation this will determine what direction Egypt will take in the near future.

The Moslem Brotherhood has a major influence in the rebuilding of Libya in their next government and the Moslem Brotherhood yields much power in the political direction for both Syria and Jordan as the world watches from afar the changing of the landscape in the Middle East.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A real student of Bible prophecy will recognize the impact that the Moslem Brotherhood is having on the new face of the Middle East and how they are preparing this region of the world for the scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy for the end of times.

With the fall of the Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and the rise of the Moslem Brotherhood within the body politic of this Arab country one can witness the reforming of a moderate Arab state into the potentially radical Islamist state that will be the end result. Though not a major factor in the Egyptian revolution,  a part of the Arab Spring, the Moslem Brotherhood stood on the sidelines and when a political vacuum developed in Egypt the Moslem Brotherhood rushed in to fill the void. The Moslem Brotherhood controls the parliament of Egypt, they are the majority of the committee set up to rewrite Egypt's constitution and they are reaching into Libya and Syria to replicate their moves in Egypt. This report is like a page out of Bible prophecy for the above mentioned Arab states and their participation in the last days.

The ancient Jewish prophet Daniel wrote 2500 years before the fact that Egypt would be a player in the last days, Daniel 11:40-43. In Daniel 11:40, the King of the South is the Biblical nation of Egypt. In that same verse the King of the North is Syria and in Daniel 11:43, the nation of Libya is also mentioned. The involvement of the Moslem Brotherhood in these three nations, Syria, Egypt and Libya is setting the stage for Daniel's prophecies to be fulfilled.

Our world is watching these three Middle Eastern nations come into place for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

War torn Iraq makes a move to return to the mainstream of the Arab world

Listen to Today's Program Play

The war torn nation of Iraq, by hosting the Arab Summit in Baghdad, has put in motion their efforts to become a player in the mainstream of the Arab world a part of a program to rebuild what once was a major nation in the Middle Eastern region.

Prime Minister Maliki wanted the Arab League meeting to show to, not only the member states of the Arab League, but the world as well that Iraq is back and can be a positive element in a part of the most volatile region in the world, the Middle East.  One problem with Maliki's plan is the resurgency of the radical element of the Islamic world and their agenda for Iraq, a goal that would make Iraq with its potential a driving force in the preparation of a global caliphate, a worldwide kingdom under Islamic rule.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Arab League Summit held in Iraq is a precursor to and end time scenario that includes the control of the entire world from this war torn nation that is according to Bible prophecy.

The Arab League is a major player in the events that have unfolded in the Middle East for many years now.  This union of 26 member states in the Arab world has made decisions, moved opinion, and enforced agreements that have an impact not only on the Middle East but the entire world.  With the war torn nation of Iraq hosting the Arab League Summit, Prime Minister Maliki has endeavored to bring his nation back into the mainstream and to become a major player in our world today.

Maliki may or may not be successful but Bible prophecy reveals that Iraq which is Biblical Babylon that Iraq will in the future be the main player in the Middle East and the entire world.  John, who wrote the book of Revelation, in Revelation 18 foretold that Babylon, that's modern day Iraq, that Babylon will be the world headquarters for a one world political governmental economic system to be ruled by the Antichrist.  Babylon will come to power in the last three and a half years of the seven year Tribulation period only to be destroyed (Jeremiah 50 and 51, and Revelation 16).  By the way, Babylon will be destroyed in one hour (Revelation 18:10, 17, and 19).

Iraq hosting the Arab League Summit in Baghdad is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The growing antisemitic trends around the world and especially in Europe have Jews in fear for their lives

Listen to Today's Program Play

An ever increasing number of attacks on Jews around the world, including the attack on a Jewish school in southern France, has put fear in the hearts of Jewish people living in what would be considered a civilized world, a fear for their lives and the lives of their families as antisemitism continues to grow globally.  A recent survey of people in ten European nations reveals that 30% of Europeans have antisemitic beliefs and still believe that Jews are responsible for the death of Jesus Christ, the main motivation for antisemitism.  An additional factor in the increase of European antisemitism is the ever growing population of Moslems around the world but especially all across the European continent, a factor that results from the Islamic beliefs that Jews should be removed from the earth.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Growing antisemitism around the world and especially in Europe is evidence that the scenario found in Bible prophecy is moving ever so close to the fulfillment of these prophecies for the end times.

A number of violent attacks on Jews around the world and the attack by a radical Moslem on a Jewish school in France is tangible evidence that the rise in antisemitism in our world is becoming a major threat to the Jewish people today.  A recent survey among ten European nations indicated that the belief that Jews were responsible for the death of Jesus Christ is a major factor in this rise in antisemitism.  It is also true that the ever increasing Moslem population in Europe is a factor in antisemitism among the European peoples.

Couple this survey information with the Arab and Moslem world's use of radical rhetoric towards Israel and the Jewish people and the stage is being set for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.  Several ancient Jewish prophets revealed a time when the world would hate the Jews and want to rid the world of these people.  Zechariah wrote 2500 years ago that at that time 2 out of every 3 Jews would be hated and then killed.  Evil angels, led by the devil himself, will try and kill every Jew on the earth (Revelation 12:7-17).  Jeremiah called this terrible time in the future the "time of Jacob's trouble" (Jeremiah 30:7).  Daniel wrote in 12:1, that the Lord would dispatch Michael the archangel to protect the Jews from complete annihilation.

Antisemitism today will lead to Bible prophecy being fulfilled in a future tomorrow.

The highest ranking Moslem cleric in Saudi Arabia is calling for all churches to be destroyed

Listen to Today's Program Play

The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Sheik Abdul Abdullah, says that it is necessary to destroy all churches in the Middle East, and he based his declaration on the Islamic holy book, the Hadith, which quotes Mohammad as saying on his death bed, that only Islam can be practiced in the Middle East.  The Mufti asserted that all law in the Middle East must conform to Sharia, the law of the Koran as revealed by Allah, the Islamic god.

This declaration by the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia comes on the heels of a Wall Street Journal article written by the Israeli ambassador to the United Nations which stated that Arab discrimination against Christian minorities is a prevalent phenomenon throughout the Arab world.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A declaration by the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia that Christian churches in the Middle East must be destroyed is a page out of Bible prophecy.

Over the last several years there have been many reports of Christian churches being destroyed and church attenders being killed by radical Islamists.  This phenomenon has been on the increase in recent days and the declaration from the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia that all Christian churches in the Middle East must be destroyed, will only add to the urgency of this destruction by Moslem radicals.

Across the Arab world, more and more Christians and their churches and leaders, are the focus of a fast growing element in our world today who say only the Islamic religion is the one that all of human kind must be a part of in this time in history.  This scenario unfolding today was actually written about in a yesterday over 2000 years ago.  John, the human writer of the book of Revelation, wrote of the slaughter of believers in Jesus Christ in a number of locations in the book of Revelation.  Revelation 6:9-11 foretells of a time when those who stand for the Word of God, the Bible, and who have a testimony that Jesus Christ is their Savior, these believers will be killed.  Revelation 20:4 says that they will be beheaded for their faith.  These Biblical prophecies are referring to the time of Tribulation, that seven year period of judgment on the earth following the Rapture and before the Second Coming of Christ.

The Grand Mufti's call for all Christian churches in the Middle East to be destroyed is indeed a lead up to Bible prophecy being fulfilled.

A supercomputer has predicted and will in the future be able to predict upcoming world conflicts and revolutions

Listen to Today's Program Play

According to the research at the University of Illinois feeding a supercomputer with millions of news stories, scientists believe they can predict major world events including regional conflicts and even revolutions like the recent revolutions in Libya and Egypt.

Scientists say they liken this forecasting of conflicts to weather forecasting and the system appears to generate better intelligence than the US government is working with today.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A supercomputer that can predict world conflict before the fact may or may not be totally accurate, but there is a way to know the future, that is by reading the end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

As scientists feed hundreds of millions of news articles into a supercomputer, they are working on developing a way to foretell the future in the area of world conflict and revolutions. This new research seems to have predicted the uprising in the Arab world, the so-called Arab spring with pretty good accuracy; however, pretty good is not perfect as is the written Word of God and its presentation of the end time scenario for the events of the future.

Daniel, the ancient Jewish prophet, in Daniel 11 predicted the rise of Ahazerias, the king of the book of Esther, 57 years before he appeared, Daniel 11:2. He also revealed information about Alexander the Great 200 years before he came to power and 360 years before the fact, Daniel prewrote history about Antiochus Epiphanes who would desecrate the Temple which did happen December 25, 168 BC. Daniel's prophecy, which is prewritten history about the Antichrist found in Daniel 7:8, 9:27, and 11:36-45 will also be fulfilled based on past prophecies being fulfilled. Daniel also wrote of world conflict 2500 years ago which would include Syria, Egypt, and Libya the major Arab nations now on the radar screen, Daniel 11:40-44.

We must not put our trust in a supercomputer that actually can fail, but instead put our trust in Bible prophecy, Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

A Jewish rabbi in Jerusalem is calling for Jews to stop praying at the Western Wall

Listen to Today's Program Play

Rabbi Yehuda Glick, of an organization called "The Movement for the Establishment of the Temple", says that the Jewish people have become psychologically connected, over the centuries, to the Western Wall of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem because the rebuilding of the temple seems like an impossible task. Rabbi Glick says that about 25 years ago Jews started to ascend to the Temple Mount even though it was a very small group but now hundreds are now on a regular basis going up on to the Temple Mount to offer their prayers.

The rabbi is now calling for Jews to unite and make every effort to go on to this sacred location for every Jew, the Temple Mount, and become focused on the rebuilding of the next temple in Jerusalem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The call by a rabbi in Jerusalem to ascend to the Temple Mount in preparation for the next Jewish temple on this sacred site, is the next step to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

Rabbi Yehuda Glick for a number of years directed the efforts of the Temple Institute to prepare for the building of the next Jewish temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Temple Institute has all the implements needed to operate the temple including the knowledge of the location of the Ark of the Covenant. All 28,000 priests, to be used in the next temple, have been trained and even their priestly garments are either made or being made right now.

However, Rabbi Glick now believes it is time to prepare the Jewish people to become accustomed to ascending the Temple Mount, not only for learning and prayer, but to be involved in the Temple practices as well. That's why he says no more prayers at the Western Wall but instead, let's go up on to the Temple Mount.

God's prophetic Word does say that in the last days the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will return to build the temple on the Temple Mount (Zechariah 1:16, 6:12). That temple built by the Messiah will be His kingdom temple where He reigns for 1000 years. However, before the Messiah's temple is built on the Temple Mount there will be a Tribulation temple (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1).

Jews ascending onto the Temple Mount today are actually setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Israeli officials say diplomatic moves and the Middle East peace process could lead to a world war

Listen to Today's Program Play

Israeli President Shimon Peres has warned that a written peace agreement on Jerusalem will cause a world war, stating that there is now defacto peace in Jerusalem where people pray, live and work together peacefully, but putting that into writing could cause a world war to break out.

Israeli Knesset member and former Chief of Staff for the IDF, Shaul Mofaz says that the prospects of war is inevitable if through diplomatic moves, the UN declares a Palestinian state based on its own unilateral definition of its borders, this also would cause a major conflict in the region.

As world leaders work at bringing resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through the peace process, the whole process seems to be moving closer to a major conflict breaking out in the region.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Recent warnings from Israeli officials that the Middle East process could lead to a world war is right in line with the end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Israeli President Shimon Peres has warned that if you put into writing the defacto peace now in place in Jerusalem, the result could be a world war. These statements from President Peres, somewhat of a dove on the peace process, should be heeded by all parties. The former Chief of Staff of the IDF, Shaul Mofaz also believes a unilateral declaration by the UN of a Palestinian state will be rejected by Israel and bring Palestinians into the streets which could lead to a major conflict in the area.

The ancient Jewish prophet Daniel wrote of this type of situation when he foretold of a world dictator, the Antichrist, putting into place a peace in the Middle East, Daniel 9:27. This short-lived pseudo peace would spark at least a regional war in the Middle East if not a world wide conflict, Daniel 11:40-44, Ezekiel 38, and Psalm 83. The presence of a Jewish state in the Middle East is the irritant that will indeed end in a war resulting from the so-called peace process.

There will only be true peace in the Middle East and world wide when the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, comes back.

Palestinian officials deny the Koran in order to declare there was never a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem

Listen to Today's Program Play

For years, the PA leaders have denied Jewish history both in ancient Judea and Samaria and in Jerusalem in particular with historical revisionism centering on the denial that a Jewish Temple ever existed in Jerusalem as they consistently refer to the Temple as the alleged temple.

This Palestinian claim that the temple never existed contradicts the Koran where it mentions in Sura 17:2-7 the destruction of both the first and second Jewish temples in Jerusalem. The Palestinians accuse Israel of forging a false Jewish history in order to Judaize the Temple Mount so they can destroy al Aqsa Mosque and build a Jewish temple on this holy site.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Palestinian claim that there never was a Jewish temple in Jerusalem is a contradiction of history and archaeological record and it does set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

For years, the propaganda of the Palestinian leadership in Israel has been focused on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and the declaration that there has never been a Jewish temple on this holy site sacred to the Jewish people. Palestinian claims of the Jews forging Jewish history for the Temple Mount are in the face of impeccable Jewish and Christian sources, plus these claims go against the archaeological record documented for this area.

In fact, these claims by the Palestinians of no temple in Jerusalem contradict the statements of Jesus Christ who not only taught on the Temple Mount at the temple, but predicted in Matthew 24:2 that the temple would be destroyed as it was in 70AD by the Roman army. These Palestinian statements about the Temple Mount not being Jewish denies their own holy book, the Koran, but also confirms the prophetic scenario for the last days that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Zechariah, the ancient Jewish prophet, revealed the future when he wrote that Jerusalem will be the center of controversy in the end times, Zechariah 12:2. He also wrote of another Jewish temple that will be built there on the temple Mount in Jerusalem by the Messiah, Jesus Christ, Zechariah 6:12.

Palestinian claims aside, Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.

Israeli officials are concerned that the Dead Sea could completely die

Listen to Today's Program Play

Because of the lack of water flowing into the Dead Sea, the misuse of development by businesses in this delicate area, and the improper management of the valuable natural resource, there is a threat that the Dead Sea could slip into a dangerous situation that would hinder the preservation of this most valuable piece of real estate in Israel.

One possible solution is the proposed Red-Dead Project that would pipe water from the Red Sea to the Dead Sea, a project that is now being studied by the World Bank for its feasibility.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Red-Dead Project, one way to preserve Israel's greatest natural resource, the Dead Sea, is a good idea but not God's plan for this unique place that is according to Bible prophecy.

For a number of years now the water in the Dead Sea has been evaporating and has the water level at a very dangerous point. Industrial development in the area and the threat from tourism has only complicated the problem. There have been many studies to try and find a solution for this problem - the most interesting being the Red-Dead Project. This plan, now being considered by the World Bank as to its feasibility, was first introduce by Israeli President Shimon Peres. The Red-Dead Project would channel water from the Red Sea on Israel's southern border, down to the Dead Sea. If this actually worked, it would revitalize the Dead Sea and increase revenues from the Dead Sea industries and the tourism that would come about as a result of this project.

Bible prophecy has an interesting prospective on this major ecological problem. The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel wrote 2500 years ago that the Dead Sea will be revitalized and would no longer be the saltiest sea on the earth which is today 7 times saltier than any ocean. Ezekiel 47 speaks of a time in the future during the kingdom period when water will flow from the temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to the Dead Sea and it will become a freshwater lake.

I say that this happens during the 1000 year kingdom on earth which will be headquartered in Jerusalem when a Jewish temple is built and in operation (Zechariah 6:12; Zechariah 14).

Salvation for the Dead Sea is on the way. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The world's population will reach 7 billion people this year

Listen to Today's Program Play

According to the research carried out by the UN, the World Bank, and the National Institute for Demographic Studies, the world population will reach 7 billion people this year with increases in the number of people in Africa offsetting birth rate drops recorded elsewhere.

In historic terms, the growth of the global population has been soaring since the 19th century, increasing sevenfold over the last 200 years.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The increase in the world's population to 7 billion people this year is a major factor in the scenario that is found in Bible prophecy for the end of times.

Research carried out by the UN, the World Bank and a number of major national institutes indicates that the world's population has increased from 6 billion to 7 billion in only 12 years. In fact, in the last 200 years, this global population has increased sevenfold and is expected to reach 10 billion by the end of the 21st century. These numbers are alarming as the world continues to struggle with the pandemic spread of disease and the ongoing problems with famine in much of our world leading to the increase in the number of those facing starvation. This recent study, revealing the swiftness in population growth in our world also made note of the fact that just seven countries now account for half of the world's population.

China tops that list with over 1.3 billion people and another 1.2 billion in India. This report does help us to understand how the stage is being set for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled. Revelation 6:5-6 foretells of a time during the 7 year tribulation period when the earth will face the worst famines and starvation the world has ever known. Revelation 6:7-8 and Revelation 9:15 reveals that half of the global population will be killed, that number will now be 3.5 billion people. Revelation 16:12 is the prophecy of the Kings of the East invading Jerusalem in the last days and the Kings of the East would be China and India with over1/3 of the world's total population.

The increase in this world's population to 7 billion people does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

A Palestinian official says that the Bible is totally irrelevant in determining a Jewish persons right to live in his ancient homeland, Israel

Listen to Today's Program Play

Dr. Hussein Ibish, a senior fellow at the American Task Force on Palestine, said in Washington recently, that the Bible is an ancient holy book that is totally irrelevant to the Palestinian Authority's aim to take over all of Judea and Samaria from the Jews to establish their state called Palestine.

The Palestinian Authority has claimed that Jews have stolen the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and Rachel's Tomb near Bethlehem and many other Jewish holy sites which have a Biblical history dating back over 4000 years.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Palestinian official who claims that the Bible has no authority in the decision process to determine who lives in Judea and Samaria or any other part of Israel is absolutely wrong that is according to Bible prophecy.

Dr. Hussein Ibish, senior fellow at the American Task Force on Palestine, makes a claim that contradicts the Bible when he said recently that the decision makers working to determine who has a right to live in the Biblical lands of Judea and Samaria should not use the Bible in this process. Ibish says the Bible is an ancient Jewish holy book that is irrelevant to the discussions on the ownership of these ancient Biblical lands even though the Bible has an undeniable record of 4000 years of Jewish history in the land that God gave to the Jewish people.

In Leviticus 25:23, Moses wrote, directed by God, that the land in question was actually His land, God's land, never to be sold or given away, and it says that God gave to the Jews the responsibility as caretakers of His land. Though the Jews did not control this land for almost 2000 years, God had Ezekiel, the ancient Jewish prophet, to write that He, God, would give the land to the Jews when they returned to the land of their forefathers in the end of times (Ezekiel 34:14, 36:10-11). In fact, the Lord said that He did not make this promise and fulfill it because of the Jews, but because He, the Lord did this for His holy namesake (Ezekiel 36:22).

The Palestinians can continue to claim their ownership of a land promised to the Jewish people and even use an armed struggle in order to take the land from the Jews but in the end, the Jewish people will get this land. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The age of America will soon come to an end

Listen to Today's Program Play

The International Monetary Fund, the IMF, recently dropped a bombshell and most of the world is yet to notice that for the first time, this international organization has set a date when the age of America will end and the United States economy will be overtaken by that of China. According to the latest IMF official forecast, China's economy will surpass that of America in real terms, in 2016 which will bring an end to America's leadership in this world.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

America's leadership role in our world today is coming to an end and it could be sooner rather than later, according to Bible prophecy.

For the last several years America has been on a downward spiral economically and it does not seem like any of our political leaders know how to stop the economic disaster that is on the horizon for the United States. A recent report by the International Monetary Fund reveals that by 2016, China will surpass the United States economically and become the world's superpower.

In light of the prophetic scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy for the end of times, the IMF report is right on target. America has been great because it has been the launchpad for world evangelization with the manpower, materials, and money needed to reach the world with the gospel message that Jesus Christ is the Savior. The United States has also played the major role in protecting the Jewish people but that key role for America is about to come to and end one way or another.

The IMF forecast is one very viable possibility but I believe the Rapture of the Church, true born again Christians, leaving this world for the heavens will render America inoperative. America has kept the Middle Eastern Islamic nations from attacking and destroying Israel as foretold in Bible prophecy in Daniel 11 and Ezekiel 38.

The rise of the European Union which I do believe is at least the infrastructure for the Revived Roman Empire and the appearance of the world dictator out of the Revived Roman Empire, the Antichrist, as foretold in Daniel 7:7-24 has been held back by a strong United States.

With America on the sidelines, end time Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Israeli President Shimon Peres says that Jerusalem will see peace in our time

Listen to Today's Program Play

Israeli President Shimon Peres believes that there can be peace in Jerusalem and it can be achieved in our lifetime citing, as an example, the events of the Six Day War in 1967 that brought about the reunification of Jerusalem and the breaking down of the divisions that once wracked the holy city by offering freedom to all faiths and creeds in Jerusalem.

Peres said that Israel was forced to fend for its life in the 1967 war which resulted in the capture of land and the revival of a divided city into Jerusalem that has become a bustling metropolis picturesque and thriving open to all believers and the center of the Jewish nation.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Israel's president believes that in our lifetime Jerusalem will see a real peace, a scenario that agrees with Bible prophecy.

Israel's President Shimon Peres, speaking from the holy city of Jerusalem, believes that this reunited city is evidence that there will be peace in our lifetime. Indeed the reunification of Jerusalem has brought about great results for the Jewish people but at the same time, it has also made Jerusalem the center of controversy among Moslems and even the leaders of this world. As world leaders travel the road to peace in the Middle East, Jerusalem is always a major topic on their quest for peace. The continuing question of who should control Jerusalem politically is at the top of any agenda in the peace process.

Ancient Jewish prophets spoke often about Jerusalem and her status in the last days especially as it relates to peace. Daniel wrote a scenario where a world leader will come to Jerusalem and establish peace between Israel and her neighbors (Daniel 9:27). The Psalmist exhorted Jews to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6) and many others, especially Christians, are also praying for the peace of Jerusalem. The Daniel passage confirms that there will be peace in Jerusalem howbeit a short lived peace that will result in a false peace. Jerusalem will indeed be key in any discussion of peace in the Middle East but there will not be true peace in Jerusalem for at least 7 years, that's the 7 years of the Tribulation period as described in Revelation 4-19.

True peace comes to Israel when the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, returns to Jerusalem. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Israel's prime minister says that the Middle East is in a period of turmoil that is historic but could it be the revolution of darkness?

Listen to Today's Program Play

Israel's PM Netanyahu recently gave his evaluation of the unrest spreading across the Middle East and said that this is a period of turmoil that is historic akin to the great revolutions that have taken place in modern times, but he quickly cautioned the world to watch very closely as Arab leaders are deposed and those who may fill the power vacuum created by these revolutions. Netanyahu was most concerned about the direct neighbors of the Jewish state, the nations of Egypt, Jordan, and Syria, of which all three are facing differing degrees of unrest even after many political changes have been made.

The Israeli PM warned world leaders that the Islamist element involved in this unrest of all the Arab world could very quickly position themselves to take political control of Israel's neighbors which could bring harm to the Jewish state in the Middle East.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Political unrest in the nations that surround the Jewish state of Israel could bring about a political leadership that would fulfill the end time prophecies for this region that are found in Bible prophecy.

The political leadership of Israel has been watching very closely the ever changing landscape in the Middle East, a result of the unrest in the Arab street throughout the entire region. Israeli PM Netanyahu has been most concerned about what is happening with the direct neighbors of his nation, countries like: Syria, Jordan, and Egypt. With the removal of Hosni Mubarak in Egypt and the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood, plus the unrest in Syria and the almost civil war in Jordan, things are changing.

These changes were foretold by the ancient Jewish prophet Daniel 2500 years ago. In Daniel 11:40-43, the Jewish prophet revealed the activities of all three Israeli neighbors: Syria, Jordan, and Egypt for the last days. Syria, referred to as the King of the North in verse 40, will make the first move against Israel. Jordan, mentioned as Ammon, Moab, and Edom in verse 41, will provide protection for the Jewish people, Isaiah 63.

Egypt, found in Daniel 11:42-43, will join Syria to try and destroy the Jewish state. Truly, unrest in the Middle East is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Jews in Jerusalem and around the world celebrate God's protection from one Persian ruler as they face a threat from another

Listen to Today's Program Play

Jews around the world celebrate Purim, the record of God's protection from total destruction by a Persian leader named Haman. This took place 2500 years ago and at the same time, the Jewish state of Israel prepares for an attack from another Persian ruler, the modern day Haman, named Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran. The book of Esther, in the Bible, gives the account of how wicked Haman wanted to eliminate all Jews from the face of the earth and how the Jewish Queen Esther had come into the Persian kingdom at the right time and was instrumental in saving her people from total destruction.

Iranian President Ahmadinejad is today leader of the nation known as Persia until 1936 and this modern day Haman has on numerous occasions called for the total destruction of the Jewish people a replay of history.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

According to Bible prophecy, the Iranian President Ahmadinejad, a modern day Haman who was the wicked political leader of Persia 2500 years ago, Ahmadinejad will also fail to destroy all of the Jewish people in our world today.

The wicked Persian leader Haman 2500 years ago was set to kill all the Jewish people alive in his day and would have done so had not God used a Jewish queen - Queen Esther - to save her people. The account of this intervention by God to protect his chosen people, the Jewish people, can be found in the Biblical book of Esther. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has compared the present Iranian President Ahmadinejad to Biblical Haman, as Ahmadinejad has continually called for the Jews to be wiped off the earth and their name be forgotten forever.

As one reads the book of Esther you can see the hand of God protecting His people, the Jewish people, from total destruction. According to Bible prophecy, once again the Lord will protect the Jews from total destruction by a Persian leader. Remember, modern day Iran was known as Persia until 1936. Persia, or Iran today, is mentioned in Ezekiel 38:5 as one of the nations that will align with other enemies of Israel and endeavor to destroy the Jewish people in the last days. At that time the Lord will again intervene to protect the Jews and destroy the Persians and their leader whoever it may be.

As Jews celebrate the holy day of Purim, remember Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Israeli Politicians Warn Against a Palestinian State

Listen to Today's Program Play

When the United Nations General Assembly meets there will be many countries that will recognize a Palestinian state and Israeli political leaders warn that a Palestinian state within the present borders of the nation of Israel would be a political tsunami to quote the former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak who in 1998 offered Yasser Arafat 98% of Judea, Samaria, and the Gaza Strip.

Prime Minister Netanyahu warned in 2002 that a Palestinian state would demand the powers of any nations, for example controlling borders and air space be allowed to stockpile military weapons and to have a standing army that could be used in military action against the state of Israel. Many of the Israeli political leaders including Prime Minister Netanyahu say a Palestinian state would be the result of the Israelis creating with their own hands a threat to the very existence of the Jewish people.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Israeli government allowing for and even creating a Palestinian state would in fact be like committing suicide according to Bible prophecy.

The debate in political capitals continues to intensify for the creation of a Palestinian state within the present borders of of the Jewish state of Israel. United States and European leaders are working towards having the two sides, the Israelis and the Palestinians come to the table and work out an agreement that would in essence create the first Palestinian state ever. Now that statement is based upon over 2000 years of history when there never was a Palestinian state anywhere in the world much less the Middle East. There are no facts in history that there ever was a Palestinian state, a notion that seems contradictory to all the Palestinian propaganda.

As the world watches this conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians, I must take you to the prophetic passages in God's Word for the end times scenario for these two peoples. Genesis 25:23 declares that the two boys born to Rebekah and Isaac would one day become two nations. Jacob and his 12 sons have become the Jewish state of Israel. Esau, twin brother of Jacob, has become the Palestinian people of today according to their own history and a thorough study of the Bible. Ezekiel 35, Malachi 1, Jeremiah 49, and the little book of Obadiah reveal that Esau's descendants, the Palestinian people of today, will in the last days kill the Jews and try to take their land. This conflict will continue until the Messiah Jesus Christ comes back to earth and destroys the Palestinian people forever (Obadiah 18). Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Al Qaeda is calling for a civil war in Iraq - that would be Moslem fighting Moslem

Listen to Today's Program Play

With the United States troop pullout from Iraq in December 2011, this war torn nation has been ripe for a civil war with the Sunni Moslems against the Shiite Moslems, a return to the days of Saddam Hussein and the time right after Saddam's fall which was a terrible time of sectarian violence in Iraq.  Iraq is made up of three elements of the body politic with the Kurds in the north, Sunnis in the middle part of the state, and the Shiites in the south with the largest of these three being the Shiites with over 60% of the population.

Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki's coalition government is made up of a partnership between these three parties with al Qaeda leading the Sunni element which wants to control the entire nation of Iraq and make it a center of terrorism in the heart of this Middle Eastern region.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A civil war in Iraq will be a precursor in the end of times scenario for Iraq that is found in Bible prophecy.

Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki, who is a Shiite Moslem, has formed a coalition government working to rebuild his war torn nation, a project that has not advanced very quickly.  This coalition government is made up of the three members of the body politic of Iraq, the Kurds, the Sunnis, and the Shiites.  This Maliki government is a very fragile government that is being threatened by the terrorist element in Iraq led by al Qaeda.  Al Qaeda's strategy is to divide and conquer thus the very viable possibility for a civil war in Iraq.  During the reign of Saddam Hussein, this infighting was held to a minimum because Saddam was a very strong leader.

This scenario now unfolding in Iraq is setting the stage for what Bible prophecy calls for in the last days.  Iraq, which is Biblical Babylon, will come to power in the last three and a half years of the Tribulation period and be led by the Antichrist (Revelation 18, 13:15-17).  This revived world city will be the headquarters for a one world political governmental economic power base that controls the known world at that time.  The leadership of this world power will be as mentioned, the Antichrist who will rule with an iron fist.  Only when Jesus comes back to destroy this last days Babylon will the world be free (Revelation 16:17-20).

Chaos and civil war in modern day Iraq, Biblical Babylon, is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

A rabbi in Israel claims to be a descendant of King David and he wants to set up the Kingdom of Israel right now

Listen to Today's Program Play

Rabbi Yosef Dayan claims that he can prove he is from the lineage of King David, Israel's second king, and the rabbi wants to restore Israel from a state back to a kingdom, which he says the Lord has commanded in the Bible.  This rabbi is joined by a number of Jewish scholars who say that God's Word does command the establishment of a kingdom in the land that God has given the Jewish people and Rabbi Dayan could be a candidate for the future king of Israel.

According to this group of Jewish scholars, God has commanded the Jewish people when they return to the land of their forefathers, to set up the kingdom, wipe out the seed of Amalek, and then build their temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

There are a number of Jewish scholars in Israel that believe the Lord wants them to set up the Kingdom of Israel today which is actually setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

For over two decades, there have been serious Jewish scholars that have been preparing to build a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.  Now, many of those same Jewish scholars, believe their priority is to first establish the Kingdom of Israel, wipe out the seed of Amalek, and then build the temple.  Among this group of scholars, is a rabbi who says that he can prove his claim to being in the lineage of King David and thus is a candidate to become the King of Israel.

This group of Jewish scholars are working hard to teach the Jewish people what God's Word does command them to do and then move ahead with this project.  Interesting to me is the fact that God's Word does call for a kingdom in the land of Israel, that's II Samuel 7 which is the Davidic Covenant.  Obadiah, an ancient Jewish prophet, wrote 2800 years ago that the descendants of Amalek would be destroyed and they would be as if they had never been (Jeremiah 49:18).  The Jewish prophet Ezekiel gave a description of the temple that will be standing during the kingdom on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, that's Ezekiel 40-46, 202 verses of detailed information about that temple of the future.

These Jewish scholars are indeed involved in preparing for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

A US Congressman warns the world of a second Holocaust, the slaughter of Jewish people

Listen to Today's Program Play

Congressman Allen West, a Republican from the state of Florida, has warned that the state of Israel could become the site of a second Jewish Holocaust if the United States does not take further actions to protect the Jewish state against Iran.  West, who is a veteran of the Iraq War, also warned that the current political turmoil in the Middle East could lead to a number of Arab and or Islamic states engaging Israel in a full blown Middle Eastern war.

Congressman West said that creation of a Hamas led Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders is the most egregious foreign policy decision that's ever been made and could lead to the beginning of the end for the Jewish state of Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A warning from a United States Congressman that Israel could face the beginning of the end for the Jewish state and a second Holocaust is a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days.

United States Congressman Allen West, from the state of Florida, has issued a warning to the world that Israel could be in danger of a second Holocaust.  This warning from West is based on the foreign policy decision of the present United States Administration and what seems to be a lack of support for Israel in its position in the Middle East.  Iran has made numerous threats to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.  Israel retreating to the pre-1967 borders would only enhance the Palestinian terror organization Hamas in their plan to use armed resistance to eliminate a Jewish state from the Middle East.

I mentioned that this report is like a page out of Bible prophecy for the end of times which is evident to a student of Bible prophecy.  Ezekiel 38:5 says that Iran will be a member of a coalition of nations who want to rid the world of a Jewish state.  Ezekiel 35. Malachi 1, and the little prophetic book of Obadiah also foretold of the Palestinian people i.e. Hamas in the last days moving to eliminate Israel from the Middle East.

As it relates to the second Holocaust, the Bible does describe a time in the future when the Jewish people will face a second Holocaust.  This end time scenario is found in Zechariah 13:8 where the ancient Jewish prophet pre-wrote history and revealed that 2 out of every 3 Jews will be killed during the Time of Jacob's Trouble in the future.

Congressman West has indeed warned of a future for the Jewish people that will happen.  Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
