It is the 50th Anniversary of the Jewish settlements and the Jews say they will not withdraw from this God given land

Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: David this is the 50th Anniversary of the area of Judea and Samaria becoming a part of Jewish communities. They refer to them as the Jewish settlements but it was 50 years ago when Ariel Sharon led the way, he was the housing minister at that time. As I understand it they put the Jewish settlements in place to be the first line of defense for the state of Israel but it’s now growing. It looks like it’s going to reach a million in occupants not too long into the future.

DD: Prime Minister Netanyahu gave a speech in honor of that 50th Anniversary Jimmy this week Jimmy and he stated that we’re not stopping, we’re going to continue to build, our communities are going to continue to grow. He didn’t promise any new settlements; the existing communities are growing and he said that isn’t going to stop.

There was a report Jimmy on Israeli television that the White House and the Trump administration asked Netanyahu to keep any new building kind of quiet; don’t brag about it, don’t talk much about it. They said don’t be piggish about it, don’t build too much or too fast because they gives us problems but do it quietly. We don’t have confirmation that that actually took place but that was in Israel television. So, you know they’re going to continue to live in Judea and Samaria and there are trouble spots in many places but the Israeli’s are back. Again this is the Jewish people’s Biblical heartland, its Biblical spine Judea and Samaria and that it center Jerusalem and they’re not about to walk away from that at least not voluntarily.

JD: David Dolan with this report on the 50th Anniversary of the Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

In 1967 the then housing minister in Israel Ariel Sharon set up the Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria or the West Bank as some refer to it as the first line of defense to protect the little Jewish State of Israel. Over these 50 years the settlement population has grown with Jewish families building their homes in Judea and Samaria, raising their families there, and starting their businesses. The settlers say they will not withdraw from this God given land because of the promises of God that are found in the Jewish scriptures. Those scriptures include Ezekiel 34 where God said that he would find the Jews wherever they have been scattered and bring them back into the land of their forefathers. And in fact in Ezekiel 36 the promise of this land to the Jews is confirmed by the Lord who says that he keeps his promises for his holy name's sake.
