A change in Saudi Arabia's leadership may mean that Israel will partner with the Saudi's to fight Iran

Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: King Salman he was the King today of Saudi Arabia but his crown prince son Mohammed bin Salman is on the way to becoming king, this young man in his thirty’s. What are your thoughts with this report coming in?

KT: Well an extraordinary story Jimmy, this is going to take place inanimately so we will know one way or another whether the report is true. Let’s assume for the moment that it is true a thirty-two year old crown prince who has muscled his way up to the top, his father King Salman he said he wanted to retire from the kingship and retain only the title of custodian of the two holy mosques because the King of Saudi Arabia has two titles he’s the King of Saudi Arabia and the custodian of the two holy mosques. That would separate the temporal and spiritual authorities in the kingship which is very interesting.

King Salman’s son Mohammed has put Iran front and center on his agenda. There are reports that he is hoping to work with Israel, that he has a back channel to Israel to coordinate a war against Iran. The Israeli Chief of Staff has said publicly that Israel is not itching for a fight with Iran in Lebanon, that’s what this would mean. A one two punch Israel attack in Hezbollah, in Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia attacking Iran directly. It’s the younger generation that’s coming to power in Saudi Arabia. A very very different generation far less conservative from his father much more adventurous.

Mohammed bin Salman has been leading the war efforts in Yemen. He also rounded up five hundred of his potential enemies including multi billionaires and now they are sleeping on cots in the lobby of the Ritz Carlton hotel in Riyadh. This is a momentous event, it is highly unusual, it amounts to a palace cooh but without a shoot and fire.

JD: Ken Timmerman with the details behind the report of a change in Saudi leadership and a partnership between the Saudi’s and Israel as they prepare to go to war against Iran.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

For a number of years there has been a conflict between Iran and the Saudi’s. It is a sectarian war the Shiites against the Sunni’s. Even if Israel joins the Saudi’s to fight Iran and Hezbollah we know from Bible prophecy that this war will not come out in Israel’s favor. Ezekiel 38:5 and Psalm 83:6 reveals that ultimately the Iranian’s and the Saudi’s will join together to try and destroy the Jewish state of Israel. A war that Israel will win with God’s help, that’s Ezekiel 38:18-39:6.
