Scientists are saying artificial life could be created within five years

Scientific laboratories across the world say they are closing in on a second genesis, an achievement that they say would be one of the greatest scientific breakthroughs of all time. However, Professor David Deamer, of California University, says that building a new life form from scratch is a daunting task but says that he is confident that it can be done in five to ten years.

Opponents of the controversial research claim the technology could lead to machines becoming almost human. However, others say there would be no safety issues for a long time as any organisms would be very primitive and need large scale life support in the laboratory.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The idea that modern-day science can create a new life form from scratch within the next five years is evidence that Bible prophecy and the Bible itself is absolutely right and Bible prophecy is about to be fulfilled.

Science-fiction movies have for years presented the case for a mad scientist being able to create life out of a test tube. Now, some so-called real scientists are claiming they are within five years of creating a new life form which they say will be the greatest scientific breakthrough in history.

Almost 2000 years ago, the close friend and ministry partner with Jesus Christ, the apostle Peter, wrote that this type of activity would actually be happening in the last days. In Peter's last letter before his death, II Peter 3, the apostle writes that there will be those in the last days that deny God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them and that is the only way for human life to have come into existence by God's creation (II Peter 3:4-5). In fact, it says that these so-called scientists will be willfully ignorant of what the truth is about Creation.

In this same passage, Peter points out that during this same time in history, the last days, men will deny that Jesus Christ is coming back to the earth to which Jesus responds, He is not slack concerning His promise, he will indeed come back (II Peter 3:4,9).

False claims that contradict the Bible are only greater evidence that Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.
