Iranian President Ahmadinejad says Jesus Christ may soon come back to Earth

The Iranian President Ahmadinejad has repeated his prediction that Israel will soon disappear as the Moslem world would rise up and uproot the satanic powers of the US and Israel and that the countdown is on to erase these satanic powers from the geopolitical scene.

The Iranian president believes that when the Mahdi and his companion, Jesus Christ return to the Earth, the Mahdi will setup a worldwide caliphate, a Moslem kingdom, to be ruled over by the Moslem god, Allah.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Iranian President Ahmadinejad's statement that the Moslem messiah, the Mahdi, and his companion, Jesus Christ will soon return to the Earth is a very interesting statement and has great prophetic significance according to Bible prophecy.

The radical rhetoric of Iranian President Ahmadinejad continues to grab the world headlines and what seems to be outrageous claims, has an element of truth woven into its fabric.

Bible prophecy presents an eschatology that predicts the return of Jesus Christ back to the Earth but not as the companion of the Mahdi, the Moslem messiah. The Islamic world will be a major player in the Last Days according to several ancient Jewish prophets. The word, "Islam", is not used in Joel's prediction of a mighty militia to attack Israel, Joel 2:3-4, but the only way that militia could be formed is with the participation of the Islamic world. All the nations listed in Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38 and Psalm 83 are of the Islamic faith today, nations that will attack the Jewish state early in the seven year Tribulation Period. However, Ezekiel 39:1-6 states that these Islamic states will be destroyed when they attack Israel. Thus, the Mahdi, the Moslem messiah, will have no effect on the return of Jesus Christ to the Earth.

Ahmadinejad's prediction of the soon coming of Jesus Christ is correct, but not for the same reasons that he believes.
