The person of Jesus Christ is the perfect example of why abortion is wrong

Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: The 48th anniversary of Roe vs Wade that was the decision by the Supreme Court back in 1973. I did want to deal with the abortion issue. Let's begin that discussion.

DJ: As you mentioned January 22 was the 48th anniversary of Roe vs Wade. In light of the resent change in administration I think we need to keep and eye on this in the coming months and years. Back in 1984 on January 13th President Ronald Reagan issued a proclamation designating January 22 as the national sanctity of human life day. In 2019 17 states enacted some sort of abortion restriction legislation. However on Thursday President Biden signed a memorandum to reverse the ban on US government funding for foreign non profits to preform or promote abortions. That memorandum also directs HHS to immediately consider resending the Trump administration rule that would block healthcare providers in the title ten family planning program for referring patients for abortions. You know before the election Franklin Graham said that Biden and Harris represented the most pro abortion ticket in history.

JD: David I wanted to get to the question of personhood because this is really the bottomline.

DJ: Well that's right. In his opinion back Roe vs Wade Justice Blackman wrote this the judiciary at this point in the development of mans knowledge is not in position to speculate. The born alive infants protection act of 2002 insures that the legal concepts of person, baby, infant and child include those who were born alive though miscarriage or abortion. In 2004 President Bush signed the Unborn Victims of Violence Act and that extends personhood to anyone who is targeted or killed as an unborn baby and that is consistent with Exodus 21 which makes someone guilty of murder if they cause a miscarriage. And you know God took on human flesh at the moment Mary was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit. In Luke 2 Elizabeth says that she felt her baby leap in her womb and the word that is used of her unborn child is the same word used of Jesus after He is born.

JD: David James explaining why the person of Jesus Christ is the main reason for not allowing abortion today.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Jeremiah the ancient Jewish prophet is another Biblical personality that refutes abortion. God told Jeremiah that life does not begin at birth nor at conception but actually in the mind of God, that's Jeremiah 1:5.
