JD: You know a political phenomenon has taken place in less than 2 years and the American public were able to stand on the sidelines and witness this whole thing. A TV star now becoming now the most powerful man in the world when he is inaugurated as president of the United States.
SR: It is a phenomenon and I have said and I believe, I believe as you probably do as well that what God has done is that God has put a man into office, by his doing, no man can take credit for it. We do not yet know what all will transpire but it is very clear, that already, the implications of a new way of doing things, in Washington, is already under way.
There are attitudinal changes across the country, not just in the economic scene but those who have been historic friends of the
United States are changing their attitude towards these United States. And I’m
very glad to see that this president is standing firmly by the side of Benjamin
Netanyahu and the nation of Israel because I think that God’s blessings are intrinsically
linked.
JD: Sam you have a long experience of political activities you
know how to campaign, you know how to win and take office; how in the world did
this happen? Can you explain this political phenomenon this last couple of
years?
SR: I cannot explain it politically; I can only explain it
divinely and that I believe as we know from scripture that God raises up and
God puts down, I believe that God raised up this individual. My prayer for
people across the country who know the Lord is do pray for this man and his cabinet.
You know Jimmy, I do not know of a president including
Ronald Reagan who has appointed to cabinet level positions as many professing believers
who clearly hold to a Biblical world view than this man. I think it’s one of
those things that we are watching where God did what only God can do so that no
man can stand up and take credit for it, but you cannot explain it politically.

You know Sam Rohrer was absolutely on target. Romans Chapter
13 reveals that there is no power in political office aside from what God did
to put that person in power. In fact, Romans 13:4 says that those in political power
are actually ministers of God.
God has used political leaders down through history and is
doing so even today. And may I remind you, He will do so into the future as
well, that’s Revelation 17:17. God is in charge and His plan will be played out
in the future.
