The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is closed to all non-Muslims

Listen to Today's Program Play

The Israeli government closed down the Temple Mount to all non-Muslims which is contradictory to Israeli law. My broadcast partner in Jerusalem, Yoel Keren has that story for us.

Rabbi Yoel Keren: All non-Muslims are banned from the Temple Mount right now and this is a violation of Israeli law and it is becoming very openly and blatantly clear who's pulling the strings, that Netanyahu is pulling the strings here. It has nothing to do with police. It has nothing to do with concerns for safety or public order. It all has to do with politics and Netanyahu's politics. It would be funny if it wasn't so sad, but you know in history there haven't been that many people who outright made a decree against Jews going up to the Temple Mount and banning them from the place.

Someone had a large sign the other day that said no entry to Jews. They were at the Temple Mount with this large sign that said no entry to Jews, Titus Hadrianus Netanyahus. Of course, General Titus who destroyed the Temple and expelled the Jews and took them captive, Hadrian who took down the Bar-Kokhba Revolt and expelled Jews from Jerusalem and changed the name of the city and then now they said Netanyahus, the ideological heir of these Roman prosecutors.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Israeli government closing down the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to all non-Muslims is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The Temple Mount is the most sacred piece of real estate on earth for the Jewish people. This site was purchased by King David from Ornon the Jebusite 3000 years ago, I Chronicles 21:18-30. King Solomon built a temple right there on that sacred site, II Chronicles 3 and he did that 3000 years ago. That temple was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 B.C. and was rebuilt again to be destroyed in 70A.D. by General Titus, the leader of the Roman military might.

Zechariah, the ancient Jewish prophet foretold that the Messiah, Jesus Christ would one day return to build the next Temple on that very sacred piece of real estate, Zechariah 1:16 and 6:12. However until that time, this holy site will be the focus of much conflict.

The Israeli government closing down the Temple Mount at this time in history to all non-Muslims is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
