The Supreme Moslem Council says that the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is Jewish

Listen to Today's Program Play

Over a decade ago the Chief Moslem cleric for the Palestinian Authority (PA) Mufti Sabri stated that the claim of the Jewish people to the right of control over Jerusalem is false and that the Islamic world only recognized Islamic supervision over Jerusalem.

However, it is now known that this absolute claim to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount is not absolute according to a document recently discovered, published by the Supreme Moslem Council back in 1925 which states that the Temple Mount is the site of Solomon's Temple and this is beyond dispute.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The discovery of a Moslem document stating that the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is Jewish is in line with biblical history and the "endtime" scenario for Bible prophecy.

I personally stood in the office of Sheikh Sabri, the Mufti of Jerusalem, and heard this chief Moslem cleric for the PA state there was never a Jewish presence on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and that this site was a Moslem holy site dating back 6,000 years. With his statement, which is part of a campaign to convince the world that the Jews have no claim to the Temple Mount, the Mufti, Sheikh Sabri, contradicted Jewish and biblical history but it is now known that the Mufti contradicted his own Supreme Moslem Council.

The Islamic document discovered recently that states the Temple Mount was the site of Solomon's Temple, the Temple built by Israel's third king, is in perfect harmony with Bible history, II Chronicles 3-5. The Temple Mount in Jerusalem was also the site of the second Jewish Temple built by the Jews who returned from Babylon led by Zerubbabel, Ezra 1-6. This sacred site to the Jewish people, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, will also be the site of the next Temple to be built there as well, that is according to Bible prophecy, Zechariah 1:14-16, 6:12.

However, until that Temple of the Messiah is built, controversy will surround this holy site, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem as indicated by this newly discovered Moslem document.

The Mufti of Jerusalem says that Israel control of Hebron, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem could start a religious war

Listen to Today's Program Play
Jerusalem's Mufti Mohammed Hussein, the highest ranking Islamic cleric in Jerusalem, says that Israeli sovereignty over Hebron, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem, three of the most important holy sites in Judaism, could start a religious war.

Hebron is the location of the burial site of the Jewish patriarchs. Bethlehem is where Jacob buried his wife, Rachel and in Jerusalem, the Temple Mount is the holiest site for the Jewish people and the location where Jews want to build a temple in the near future.

The mufti's says Israel's claim to these Jewish holy sites is an attempt to take over the religious sites and Moslems are now in a period of war, not with tanks and rockets, but a religious war.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The statement by the mufti of Jerusalem that Israel's claim to their holy sites is a declaration of a religious war is a page out of Bible prophecy for the last days.

The Israeli government has established a list of heritage sites in Israel, sacred sites that are a part of Jewish history. Included in that list are three locations that the mufti of Jerusalem says will be the cause for a religious war if Israel stands firm on their claims to these sites. The sites include Rachel's tomb in Bethlehem, Rachel being Jacob's wife who died in childbirth, Genesis 35. Genesis 23 is the record of Abraham paying cash money for the Machpelah Cave, the burial site for the patriarchs of the Jewish people: Abraham, Issac, and Jacob. Israel's King David also paid cash money to Ornan the Jebusite for his threshing floor on Mt. Moriah, the site for the two previous Jewish temples in Jerusalem, I Chronicles 21.

The threat of a religious war between the Jews and the Moslems is setting the stage for an end of times conflict between these two peoples. The ancient prophet Joel, in Joel 2:2-3, warned that the largest militia ever formed on the earth will come to Jerusalem to take control of the Jewish holy sites. There is only one group of people today who could form such a militia and also people who want to control Hebron, Bethlehem, and the holy city of Jerusalem, that would be the Moslem people.

The Jerusalem mufti is right. There will be a religious war.

A senior research fellow at the Hudson Institute says that Jewish ties to the Temple Mount will bring peace to the Middle East

Listen to Today's Program Play

Dr. Max Singer a senior research fellow at the Begin Sadat Center for Strategic Studies says the only chance for real peace in the Middle East is if the western nations convince the Arabs that Jewish ties to the Temple Mount will bring about peace in the region.

Singer believes that the continual denial by the PA leadership of the Jewish people's ancient connection to the land of Israel and the sacred significance to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount where once stood two Jewish temples will hinder any peace efforts to the two peoples to coexist in the Middle East and thus only enhance the continuing conflict.

In spite of the fact that the PA Mufti Sheikh Sabri, the high ranking Islamic cleric, claims there has never been a Jewish presence on the Temple Mount, Jewish scholars cite many historic and Biblical sources to confirm that Jews have a 3000 year old connection to the Temple Mount and Jerusalem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The statement by the senior Jewish research fellow that Jewish ties to the Temple Mount will bring peace to the Middle East is right on target according to Bible prophecy.

Dr. Max Singer, the founder and senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, believes that if Jewish ties are restored to the Temple Mount and Jerusalem, there will be peace in the Middle East. Bible prophecy reveals that Dr. Singer is correct in the final outcome in the end of time scenario written by ancient Jewish prophets 2500 years ago. The prophet Samuel wrote in II Samuel 7 that one of King David's descendants would rule the world from a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, that descendant will be Jesus Christ, the Jewish Messiah. Isaiah wrote that when the Temple, the house of the Lord, will be established in Jerusalem, nations would turn their military weapons into farming equipment and they would learn of war no more, thus peace in the world, Isaiah 2:1-4.

As the quest for peace in the Middle East continues, all must agree with the Bible, Jewish ties to the Temple Mount will indeed bring about peace.

An Israeli lawmaker says there is a Palestinian state in Jordan and there is no need for one in Israel

Listen to Today's Program Play

Israeli Knesset member Ari Eldad says documents have been delivered to ten Jordanian embassies around the world stating that there is already a Palestinian state in the Middle Eastern country of Jordan and there is no need for an additional one in the heart of the land of Israel. Eldad says that Jordan knows very well that 80% of Jordanian citizens are Palestinian Arabs and if they decide to go to the Arab street and stage a revolution, the Kingdom of Jordan will change into the homeland of the Palestinian people.

Jordanian King Abdullah, as did his father before him, King Hussein, both have appeased the Palestinians in their country and have watched very closely the efforts to bring resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The declaration by an Israeli lawmaker that the Middle East nation of Jordan is the Palestinian state is correct that is according to Bible history and Bible prophecy.

Israeli Knesset member Ari Eldad distributed petitions to ten Jordanian embassies around the world including embassies in Washington DC and Moscow, Russia stating that Jordan is the Palestinian state in the Middle East. Eldad stated that over 80% of Jordan's population today is Palestinian thus the Israeli lawmaker sees no need for another Palestinian state especially in the heart of the Jewish state of Israel. Knesset member Eldad is right on his history, even he is using demographics for the modern-day state of Jordan to prove his point.

In Genesis 36 God sent the descendants of Esau, the Palestinian people of today, into Mount Seir which is today the lower third of modern-day Jordan referred to in Bible times as Edom. Bible prophecy reveals that these people, the Edomites or the Palestinian people of today, will return to rebuild (Malachi 1). Additional prophetic passages like Ezekiel 35 and Jeremiah 49 foretell of an ongoing conflict between the Israelis and the Palestinians, the Edomites and the Jews. This conflict will be resolved when Jesus Christ returns to the earth and that is all detailed in the prophetic book of Obadiah 15-18. Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.

Israeli PM Netanyahu wins the support of US Congress for peace in the Middle East

Listen to Today's Program Play

Israeli PM Netanyahu addressing the joint sessions of the US Congress told them that if the Palestinians will recognize Israel's right to be a nation in the Middle East, there will be a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and peace in the Middle East.

Netanyahu said Israel is ready to recognize a Palestinian state alongside the Jewish state and all the issues will be dealt with as the two sides forge an agreement for two peoples to live in one land. However, the Israeli prime minister did declare that Jerusalem is the undivided, eternal capital of the Jewish people and will remain so now and forever.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The fact that an Israel prime minister can address the joint houses of US Congress is a testimony to the world that Bible prophecy has been fulfilled and will be fulfilled in the future.

Israeli PM Netanyahu addressed US Congress in a joint session of both houses and brought these law makers to their feet in approval of an Israeli official who not only stated the obvious but also addressed the tough issues that must be dealt with in order to bring resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The Israeli PM said that he and his country are ready to accept a Palestinian state and all that needs to be done for a resolution of this conflict is for the Palestinians to recognize the rights of the Jews to have a state also in the Middle East.

The political significance of Netanyahu's speech to the US Congress is great, but the prophetic significance of an Israeli PM addressing Congress is very powerful. It is solid evidence that Bible prophecy, like the "dry bones" prophecy of Ezekiel 37 has been partially fulfilled. The offer by the Israelis and the rejection by the Palestinians is also evidence of potential for fulfillment of other prophecies written by the ancient Jewish prophets, prophets like Malachi that says the Palestinians, Edomites of biblical times, would come to claim a state in the last days, Malachi 1. Obadiah wrote that there would be a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but only when Jesus Christ returns to the earth.

The Israeli prime minister addressing US Congress is indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Al Qaeda is still on schedule for world domination

Listen to Today's Program Play

The Jordanian journalist Fouad Hussein revealed to the world al Qaeda's master plan for world domination when he interviewed top al Qaeda leaders including the mastermind of many terror attacks Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, revealing a seven stage long term war ending with the world coming under control of the Islamic caliphate - world domination.

Phase 3 followed the 9-11 attacks. Phase 4, expected to last from 2010 - 2013, foresees the downfall of hated Arab regimes including Saudi Arabia and Jordan. Phase 5, to take place between 2013 and 2016, has been described as the period of the formation of a worldwide Islamic state with an Islamic army to lead the fight over non-Moslems in order to set in place global domination.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The master plan for the Islamic terror organization al Qaeda that calls for worldwide Islamic domination is right on schedule but it will not come about according to Bible prophecy.

According to published reports, the master plan for the world domination by al Qaeda is right on schedule. We're now watching phase 4 of the seven stage plan taking place with the street demonstrators in the Arab capitals in the Middle East leading the way for the downfall of hated Arab leaders, basically the moderate Arab leaders that are willing to coexist with a Jewish state in the Middle East. The phase 4 plan also calls for an attack on oil supplies and the United States economy. Already it is evidenced that the plan has been effective in Tunisia and Egypt with Saudi Arabia and Jordan to be the next targets. Ironically the West is downplaying these threats to take over the world by the Islamists.

A student of Bible prophecy, however, would recognize what is happening as the prewritten history recorded over 2500 years ago by the ancient Jewish prophets. Joel wrote that the largest military might ever formed on the earth will take place in the last days. It will be a massive Moslem militia according to Joel 2:1-4. Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, and Jeremiah all add additional information to the end times scenario that we can see unfolding right now. Ezekiel, however, reveals that the Moslem militia will not form this desired caliphate, a global dominion. Jesus will intercede from heaven and destroy the al Qaeda forces (Ezekiel 38:18-39:6). Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Palestinian Authority president says there will be no Jews in a Palestinian state

Listen to Today's Program Play

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas announced recently that in an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, there will be no Israeli Jews living there which includes the almost 500,000 Jews that now are living in the area of Judea and Samaria with over 200 Jewish settlements in the same area including the Old City of Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.

The Palestinian Authority president accused the United States of not putting enough pressure on the Israeli government to stop construction in the Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria and the eastern section of the city of Jerusalem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A statement by the Palestinian Authority president that there will be no Jews in a Palestinian state contradicts and confirms the Bible which reveals the end of times scenario for the Jewish people.

As the Jewish people and the Palestinians fail to bring about a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, both sides have been using rhetoric that has not helped the peace process. Recently, Palestinian President Abbas made the announcement that in a Palestinian state there would not be any Jewish people. That's in contradiction to the efforts to bring peace to the area by stating that some Jewish settlements and settlers could choose to live where they are living today which is in an area within the borders of what could be the Palestinian state. It is interesting to note there are hundreds of thousands of Palestinians today who are living in the Jewish state. The Bible has insight into the future as it relates to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a conflict that has been going on for some 4000 years.

The Israelis and the Palestinians both have ancestors and a history as recorded in the Bible and this record starts in Genesis 25 with the birth of twin boys, Jacob and Esau. A study of Bible history brings us to the facts, Jacob's descendants are the Jewish people of today and Esau's heritage would be the Palestinians of today. The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel reveals that in the last days the Israelis will be killed by the Palestinians who will then take the land that God has given the Jewish people, Ezekiel 35.

The Palestinians can say that there will be no Jewish people in a Palestinian state but remember, Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Arabs, Jews, and even American political leaders offer harsh criticism of President Obama's new Middle East policy

Listen to Today's Program Play

It did not take long after President Obama announced his new Middle East policy statement for harsh criticism to come from all sides. The Arabs, the Jews, and even United States political leaders said that Obama's new Middle East policy is putting the Jewish state of Israel in a situation where they will not be able to defend themselves. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that a Jewish state with the borders at the time of the Six Day War in 1967 are indefensible and it would be the beginning of the end for the Jewish state of Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

President Obama's newly stated Middle East policy is in essence the fulfillment of one Bible prophecy and it sets the stage for all of Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

In his speech to make clear his new Middle East policy, President Obama made demands of the Jewish state of Israel that will make it impossible for Israel to defend itself from its many enemies in the Middle East. Of most concern to the leaders of Israel is the demand that Israel give back the land it took to establish a buffer zone between itself and its Arab enemies in 1967.

As the political debates continue, the prophetic passages of God's Word give us great insight into the significance of Obama's new Middle East policy. As it relates to the land that Obama demands Israel give to the Palestinians, this land does not belong to the United States who are making these demands, but it does belong to God (Leviticus 25:23). As it relates to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount, the Bible says that Jesus will return to this area and reign among the Jewish people from a temple on the Temple Mount forever (Zechariah 1:16, 6:12, Psalm 132:13-14).

The fact that a Gentile world leader is dictating to the Jewish people about the Temple Mount and what should happen there is exactly what Jesus Christ said would happen - that Jerusalem would come under control of the Gentile world powers at the time of the end and remain under their control until He returns to the earth (Luke 21:24).

In one speech, US President Obama has not only fulfilled Bible prophecy but he has also set the stage for additional Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Russia's military is launching its biggest rearmament since Soviet times

Listen to Today's Program Play

Russia's government will spend 650 billion dollars to rearm its military in the biggest makeover for the Russians since the times of the Soviet Union, a project that they say is needed because for two decades they have had no modernization in order to really protect their country.

Russia is the world's 5th largest military spender. They need, according to analysts, a strong conventional force to reduce its reliance on its aging Soviet missile nuclear deterrent. Russia's military leaders say this rearmament project will finally give them a modern top level arm of forces that are capable of protecting their homeland. The "Big Bear" is sharpening its teeth.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

For decades, during the Cold War, Russia was a major world military power and now as Russia's military rearms itself, it moves now onto the world stage in order to fulfill Bible prophecy for the last days.

The recent nonproliferation treaty signed by the US and Russia brought attention to the fact that Russia has fallen behind in military hardware to a place where Russia's leaders say they are not now prepared to defend their country. The recent announcement that Russia is planning to spend 650 billion dollars to rearm their military forces is evidence that the Russian leaders recognize their need to make preparations to defend the homeland but also to become once again a major world military power. This is a prerequisite to the prophetic scenario that can be found in the prophetic passages of God's Word.

Bible prophecy for the last days mentions a nation that will play the key role in forming a coalition of nations that will align themselves against the Jewish state of Israel. This scenario is laid out in the prophecies of Ezekiel written 2500 years ago. Ezekiel 38:2 mentions Gog in the land of Magog. Gog is the person, Magog, the place. Magog was a grandson of Noah, Genesis 10:2, who took his family and started a nation, Genesis 10:5, in what is today known as Russia. Ezekiel 38 reveals that Russia will lead a coalition of nations who will try and destroy the Jewish state of Israel in the first six months of the seven year Tribulation Period.

A rearmed Russian military does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

A high ranking Islamic terrorist claims that China and India will replace the United States as the superpowers in this world

Listen to Today's Program Play

According to Mahmoud al-Zahar, the chief of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, the empire of the United States is in decline and will fall because of the country's immorality, promotion of sexuality, and political injustice. Al-Zahar also predicted that China and India will become the new world superpowers because of the large populations of both China and India and these two economies expanding faster than any other nations of the world. Al-Zahar said that he welcomed the revolution of Egypt which brought down the US-backed Mubarak and said that this revolution will sweep the Middle East bringing down other Arab leaders who support the United States and its ally Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Islamic terror leader who predicted the fall of the United States and the rise of China and India as superpowers is in lockstep with Bible prophecy for the last days.

The chief of Hamas in the Gaza Strip made a very profound statement recently when he predicted the fall of the United States and the rise of China and India as superpowers in our world. Mahmoud al-Zahar most likely does not realize how right on that he is, but the Bible does reveal in the pages of prophecy that the kings of the east, that would be China and India, the kings of the east mentioned in the book of Revelation 16:12 that these kings of the east will gather at Jerusalem just before Jesus Christ returns to the earth, as will all nations at that time in history (Zechariah 14:2).

As it relates to America's fall because of immorality and the promotion of sexuality, so stated by this Islamic leader, that is very Biblical as well. In fact, the United States is not mentioned in Bible prophecy giving us some evidence that America must be off the scene before the end of times scenario found in Bible prophecy will be fulfilled. Remember, at the Rapture of the Church, all Christians leave this earth and go to heaven which will take the backbone of this nation of America away leaving the United States as a powerless country.

The Hamas leader that said the United States will fall may not know that he actually was quoting Bible prophecy - Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

The prime minister of Turkey says that Facebook is "ugly technology"

Listen to Today's Program Play

Tayyip Erdogan, the prime minister of Turkey, recently lashed out at the very popular social network, Facebook calling it "ugly technology" and he stressed that any type of immoral content can be published on this popular internet phenomenon and openly presented to millions of people at the same time.

Despite the Turkish prime minister's concerns about Facebook, Erdogan maintains an official page on the site endorsed by more than 780,000 supporters.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan's criticism of Facebook as "ugly technology" may or may not be correct; however, Facebook is being used to set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

As far as I know there is no other world leader that has referred to Facebook as "ugly technology" except Tayyip Erdogan, prime minister of Turkey; however, there is tangible evidence that Facebook and other electronic technology has been and is being used to change the landscape in the Middle East. Young people demonstrating in the streets of many Arab countries have used Facebook to help organize and promote the uprising in the Arab world that has been responsible for the downfall of long time Arab leaders. This is only the beginning of how Facebook and other electronic technology will be used in the future to accomplish the plans of the radical elements of the Middle East, plan that have an interesting connection to Bible prophecy.

Ancient Jewish prophets like Daniel, Ezekiel, Joel and many others pre-wrote history in the form of Bible prophecy laying out a scenario that is today unfolding in the Middle East and using this technology like Facebook to pull this end of times scenario together. The prophet Daniel wrote that Syria, Egypt, and Libya would be major players in the last days, nations all with rebellions orchestrated over Facebook, Daniel 11:40-43. Ezekiel and the prophet Joel both foretold of other Muslim nations using this same technology who will also be key players in the last days, Ezekiel 38 and Joel 2.

Facebook is indeed being used to set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The leader of the nation of Islam says Jews are a cover for Satan

Listen to Today's Program Play

Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the nation of Islam says that the Jews who dominate the US government and the banking system are always working to push America into war and he says that he is trying to pull the cover off of Satan, referring to the Jews as the cover for Satan.

Farrakhan told his followers that American Zionists are trying to push the US and Israel into a war with Iran and that he must pull the cover off of Satan so that Satan will never deceive the people of this world again.

Abe Foxman who is the National Director for the Anti Defamation League said Farrakhan is the bigot in chief of the nation of Islam, an Anti-Semite who is the pied piper of hatred towards the Jewish people.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective

Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the nation of Islam, has the characters of the last days correct but not the facts, according to Bible prophecy.

In a speech to his followers, members of the nation of Islam, Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the nation, spewed out his radical rhetoric against the Jewish people and referred to them as the "cover for Satan". He said that the Jews in America who Farrakhan said controls the US government and the banking system in America, that US Jews were trying to push America and Israel into a war with Iran. Farrakhan earlier also made the statement that the revolution in the Middle East among the Arab states will spread to the US. Again, I say Farrakhan has the right characters for the end of times, but the details are wrong.

The ancient Jewish prophets prewrote history, better known as prophecy, and they have the characters and the details of the future all correct. Satan will indeed be the one behind the scene orchestrating the events of the last days, Daniel 10 and Revelation 12. The Jews will be the prime focus of persecution during the days of judgment, the seven year Tribulation Period, Revelation 4-19. Islam will play a key role in how this persecution unfolds, Ezekiel 38 and Daniel 11. There will also be a war between the Jewish state of Israel and Iran as foretold in Ezekiel 38:5 where Iran is mentioned by the name Persia.

Farrakhan does have the characters right for the end of times drama, but he must learn from the Bible all of the details.

Iranian President Ahmadinejad says in the new Middle East, there will be no Jewish state of Israel

Listen to Today's Program Play

In a speech marking the 32nd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the president, Ahmadinajad, said that with the help of Allah, the new Middle East will turn into a region without the Zionist regime, the Jewish state of Israel, and the entire world will experience the sweet taste of a world without the Zionist thugs.

Hundreds of thousands of Iranians chanting slogans supporting the Arab uprisings marched in the center of Tehran to mark the 32nd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution which toppled the Shah of Iran. Death to Israel was the cry from the crowd in the streets celebrating their overthrow of the Iranian leader and the rise of Ayatollah Khomeini to lead the Islamic Republic of Iran and to start the Islamic Revolution throughout the entire Middle East.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Though the Iranian president thinks there will be no Jewish state in the new Middle East, he is absolutely wrong according to Bible prophecy.

With the street demonstrations in Tunisia and Egypt being successful and bringing about the downfall of their longtime leaders, there is developing a new landscape in the Middle East. No political pundit or world leader can predict what the new Middle East will look like, however the Iranian President Ahmadinejad says that the new Middle East will have no Jewish state included in the nations of the region. This continuation of Ahmadinejad's radical rhetoric focused on the Jewish state is once again totally incorrect. The truth is that in the real new Middle East, the Jewish state of Israel will be the major player and Iran will not be included.

The ancient Jewish prophets wrote that an alignment of nations will try to eliminate Israel from the Middle East (Ezekiel 38 and Daniel 11). Jesus in the heavens will intercede and destroy the attackers of Israel (Ezekiel 38:18-39:6). II Samuel 7 reveals the program for the Jewish people in the future in the Davidic Covenant which calls for Jerusalem to be the capital city and the forever location of a Jewish temple for the Jews. Psalm 132:13-14 calls for Jesus Christ the Messiah to dwell among the Jews for ever in Jerusalem, Israel.

Ahmadinejad in once again wrong. The Jews will be in Israel on earth - forever. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The IDF has a new weapon that can fire around a corner

Listen to Today's Program Play

Two new weapons have been developed in Israel that will improve the use of personal weapons for members of the IDF in a combat situation, new weapons that will save Israeli lives but be a threat to life for any of Israel's enemies that choose to attack the Jewish state in military combat.

One such weapon, the Gilboa, is an assault rifle based on the old M-16, a weapon of war that now has all of the necessary improvements for a combat situation. The other weapon in the Israeli arsenal is the Corner Shot, which is a special Israeli technology which allows soldiers to shoot from behind a wall, in essence around the corner using a video camera and a special rotating rifle.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Brand new technology in Israel has allowed for the production of specialized weapons of war for the IDf soldier, but according to Bible prophecy, these weapons are not Israel's future, the Messiah is Israel's future.

Since the founding of the modern day state of Israel, this young Jewish nation has had four major wars and a number of military confrontations. The fact is that the IDF now has the Gilboa and the Corner Shot, two new technologies that have produced advanced combat weapons. The most amazing of these two weapons is the Corner Shot, an assault rifle that can rotate and actually shoot from behind a wall around a corner. It has a video camera and a screen that will assist the combat soldier.

An alignment of nations will come against Israel in the last days to destroy the Jewish state, Ezekiel 38. The Lord also told the prophet Ezekiel to tell the Jewish people that Jesus will protect them as foretold in Ezekiel 38:18-39:6. Even the name Israel which means, "I will fight for you", words of the Lord, are evidence that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will intercede for the Jewish people. In a secular world, it is good news to see IDF soldiers with high tech weapons, however in a spiritual world, remember, the Lord will protect His people.

The Messiah, Jesus Christ, will come back to earth to save the Jewish people as He has done down through 4000 years of history.

Israel stops to remember a covert military operation that brought Black Ethiopian Jews to the land of their forefathers

Listen to Today's Program Play

Operation Solomon was a covert Israeli military operation in 1991 that brought thousands of Black Ethiopian Jews to Israel, the land of the forefathers of these oppressed Jews living in a famine stricken Ethiopia.

This amazing airlift that saw 34 aircraft perform a non stop shuttle to bring over 1400 Ethiopian Jews safely  to Israel in only 36 hours was prompted by the tragic famine in Ethiopia but also by the highly vulnerable government that then threatened their country with dangerous political destabilization.

Israeli officials have claimed this in-gathering of Ethiopian Jews was only part of the continuing immigration of Jews from many countries around the world, a movement that was foretold in the Bible.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The in-gathering of thousands of Ethiopian Jews to Israel is evidence that Bible prophecy is being fulfilled in our day..

Through two different military operations, the Israeli government transferred thousands of Black Ethiopian Jews to the land of their forefathers, the Jewish state of Israel. Operation Moses in the 80's and Operation Solomon in the 1990's, both covert Israeli operations, saw these oppressed Jews in their native land Ethiopia, brought to safety in their ancestral homeland. The world must take notice of the desire by Jews from every part of the world wanting to return home, but especially these Jews from Ethiopia.

Bible prophecy foretells of a time in history when there will be an in-gathering of Jews from all the nations of the world, Ezekiel 37:7-11. That ancient prophet Ezekiel also wrote that the Lord would bring these Jews to a land that He had promised them, Ezekiel 36. As it relates to the Black Ethiopian Jews, another prophet pre-wrote history telling of a time when Jews from Ethiopia would return to Israel, a very specific prophecy that is found in Zephaniah 3:10.

Ethiopian Jews living in Israel today is evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Israel at 63 is a Jewish state that shines proudly in the heart of an oppressive and cruel Middle East

Listen to Today's Program Play

The speaker of the Israeli Knesset, Reuven Rivlin, addressing the world on Israel's 63rd birthday, said that the Jewish state shines proudly in the heart of an oppressive and very cruel Middle East and his nation had faced difificult and painful tests and had passed them all.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has called Israel an island of progress, an island of freedom, and a very special country because it serves as the home of the Jewish people.

Israel, with a population of around 5.5 million Jewish people, has become a global technological power with an army admired all over the world, an army that has provided protection for its people in a very hostile neighborhood for last 63 years.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Israel, a Jewish nation in the Middle East for 63 years is tangible evidence that Bible prophecy has been and will be fulfilled.

As the Jewish people marked the 63rd anniversary of the establishment of a Jewish state called Israel, the world had to stop and take notice that a people dating back some 4000 years ago are alive and doing very well today. Under threat of annihilation of its nation and its people during the entire 63 years, the Jews have survived war after war and are today a major force in the Middle East:. However, in God's plan for the Jewish people there is a future that is brighter than its history of 63 years for the modern day state of Israel as well as its 4000 years of history of the Jewish people.

God's prophetic Word speaks of a people that would be scattered around the world, Deuteronomy 28:63-64. They would be scattered for 2000 years before they would be regathered back to their homeland, the land of their forefathers. God revealed to the ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel and in fact told him 18 times in Ezekiel 34 that He would find the Jewish people wherever they had been scattered, gather them into their homeland, and take care of them in that land forever. In fact, the coming Messiah, Jesus Christ, will rule over the Jewish people from the land that He has given them and He will do that forever, Daniel 7:13-14.

Israel at 63 is indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Moslem Brotherhood tells their followers to prepare for war against Israel so they can kill Jews

Listen to Today's Program Play

Leaders and clerics in the Moslem Brotherhood are calling for their followers to prepare for war against Israel and one leading brotherhood cleric has called for killing Jews to the very last one. This is the brotherhood that has played a major role in the chaos in the Arab capitals of the Middle East.

As the Moslem Brotherhood rises to power in the Middle East, Israeli leaders see this as consolidating the power of Hamas and its hold on Gaza, a real concern to the Jewish state because the Hamas charter states unequivocally that it wants to eradicate Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

With the rise of the Moslem Brotherhood and the so-called revolution in the Arab world, the endtime scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy comes much better into focus.

One of the major players in the chaos spreading throughout the Arab world is the Moslem Brotherhood, an Islamist terror group that has spawned such terror organizations as Hamas and al Qaeda. The ideology of the brotherhood was made clear by one of its leading preachers based in Qatar who in one of his sermons called for Israel and the Jews to be dealt with by Allah, the Islamic god, who should kill the Jews down to the very last one. This same Moslem Brotherhood preacher in a sermon aired on Al Jazeera claimed that Adolf Hitler was sent by Allah to punish the Jewish people. The brotherhood also supports Hamas, the Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah, all Islamic terror groups who want to eradicate this world of the Jews.

The scenario being played out now in the Arab world was foretold by the ancient Jewish prophets, a message for the last days. Daniel and Ezekiel both revealed that the Arab world would come to power and move to kill the Jews, Daniel 11 and Ezekiel 38. The prophet Joel said this would happen when every Moslem would be ready to form the largest militia ever formed on the earth, Joel 2. Even the Psalmist prophet, Psalm 83 called for the Jews to be destroyed and their name be forgotten forever, Psalm 83:4.

The rise to power of the Moslem Brotherhood and their impact on Middle East events is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Jerusalem is declared the eternal capital of Israel by the prime minister and confirmed by the Israeli Knesset

Listen to Today's Program Play
The headline for this report is correct - howbeit, it is a headline from Israel dating back over 60 years to the time when on December 13, 1949, David Ben-Gurion, Israel's first prime minister, declared to the members of the Israeli government meeting in Tel Aviv, that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish state of Israel and the Israeli legislative body, the Knesset, approved the declaration. The Israeli government action followed the United Nations declaration that Jerusalem must be internationalized to which David Ben-Gurion responded that Jerusalem is an intrical part of Israel, its eternal capital, and no United Nations resolution can change such an historic fact.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Though the world doesn't recognize the historic prophetic fact that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish state of Israel as so declared by Israel's first prime minister, David Ben-Gurion, the Bible confirms this fact and says it is absolute.

In December of 1949 the then prime minister of Israel, David Ben-Gurion, made the unilateral declaration that Jerusalem was the eternal capital of the Jewish state of Israel and that no United Nations resolution could change that fact. Ben-Gurion added that Jerusalem was made the capital of the Jewish people some 3000 years ago, a declaration made by the second king of Israel, King David. The counter-declaration by Ben-Gurion that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel, was a political declaration that is in perfect harmony with many passages in the Bible.

In the Davidic Covenant found in II Samuel 7, the Lord promised the Jewish people that He will give them a place to dwell and that they will move no more (II Samuel 7:10). The Davidic Covenant also confirms that the Jewish Messiah will rule a kingdom from a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and do that forever. In fact, God has committed to dwelling among the Jewish people in Jerusalem forever (Psalm 132:13-14). Even on the new earth called for in Isaiah 65 and 66 and in Revelation 21, the earthly city of Jerusalem will be the center of all spiritual activities (Micah 4:1-3, Isaiah 2).

David Ben-Gurion's declaration over 60 years ago that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish state of Israel is absolute. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Israeli archaeologists have unearthed a 3000 year old wall that is archaeological evidence to verify the Jewish King of Israel, King Solomon

Listen to Today's Program Play

An archaeological team led by Dr. Eliat Mazar has unearthed an ancient wall in Jerusalem that dates back to the third king of Israel, King Solomon, the son of King David, and this team believes this discovery gives proof to the Biblical account of the presence of the Jewish people in Jerusalem 3000 years ago.

Dr. Mazar cited the book of I Kings in the Bible as she explained the archaeological significance of this wall which surrounded the central city of the monarchy, the House of King Solomon and the first Temple of the Jewish people.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The archaeological discovery of an ancient wall in Jerusalem dating back to the Jewish King Solomon is evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The archaeological dig in the city of David, the original site of the city of Jerusalem, has unearthed important artifacts that give proof of a Jewish presence in Jerusalem back through history. With the recent discovery of a wall between the city of David and the Temple Mount that dates back 3000 years ago, there is further proof of a Jewish presence in the period of the first Jewish Temple. That first Temple was built in the time of King Solomon, the third king of the Jewish people. The fact that this wall is evidence of a Jewish leadership capable of building this massive fortress wall is evidence that King Solomon had the capacity to build the first Temple as well, as is recorded in I Kings 6.

The building of this Jewish Temple 3000 years ago by King Solomon was the first installment of the Davidic Covenant, II Samuel 7, which was God's promise to King David that one of his sons would build that Temple, II Samuel 7:12-13. However, the Davidic Covenant also looked into the future, beyond King Solomon to the last days when another in the lineage of King David, the Messiah, Jesus Christ would build a Temple in Jerusalem and become the King of the Kingdom that will be forever, II Samuel 7:10-16.

The discovery of an ancient wall in Jerusalem dating back to King Solomon is indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The two factions of the Palestinian people signed an agreement against their common enemy, Israel

Listen to Today's Program Play

The two factions of the Palestinian people, Hamas and Fatah, signed a reconciliation agreement in Cairo, Egypt that brought the division of the Palestinian people back together under the banner that they must deal with their common enemy, the Jewish state of Israel.

Both Hamas and Fatah agree that as a unified people the Palestinians have a common enemy, Israel and they will fight Israel with diplomacy or with military force.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The reconciliation of the two factions of the Palestinian people has set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

In Cairo, Egypt, the leaders of the two factions of the Palestinian people, Hamas and Fatah, signed an historic agreement that reunited these two groups after four years of infighting. Khaled Mashaal, the leader of Hamas, said that the common enemy of both his group and Fatah is the Jewish state of Israel and must be dealt with, if need be, by military force. Mahmoud Abbas, the leader of Fatah, said that Israel must now chose between peace and the Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria.

This harsh rhetoric from both Hamas and Fatah, now once again united with purpose, does set in place the scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy. A student of Bible prophecy can trace from the birth of Esau in Genesis 25 down through biblical history to the Palestinian people of today and see these descendants of Esau, the Palestinians, will be major players in the end times.

The ancient Jewish prophet Malachi wrote of the return to power and a rebuilding by the Edomites, the Palestinians, Malachi 1. Ezekiel in Ezekiel 35 prewrote history revealing that the Palestinians would kill Jews and then take their land. The prophet Obadiah lays out the end of the Palestinian people, the descendants of Esau, and it will happen when Jesus Christ returns to the earth.

The reconciliation of Hamas and Fatah, the two factions of the Palestinian people, does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

An international financial newspaper says that Israel is the main cause of Middle East problems

Listen to Today's Program Play

The Financial Times, a London based international newspaper, says, in its news coverage and its editorial pages over the last year, that Israel is the cause for all problems in the Middle East. The Financial Times believes the role of the Jewish settlements in Israel's Judea and Samaria, above any other single factor, is affecting the conflict and the newspaper, at the same time, downplays the other factors in the conflict such as terrorism and the political split between Hamas and Fatah, the two Palestinian factions.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

An international opinion forming newspaper says that Israel is the main cause for problems in the Middle East and they may be correct according to Bible prophecy.

The Financial Times newspaper, based in London, England, has been taken to task by a media monitoring organization about their bias reporting about Israel as the publication claims that the conflict in the Middle East is all Israel's fault. The main source of agitation is the Jewish settlement activity in the area of Judea and Samaria according to The Financial Times.

I must say that to some extent The Financial Times is correct. Israel's presence in the Middle East is indeed a cause for that conflict that continues to unfold day by day. With 23 Arab states surrounding the 1 Jewish state and a population of 350 million Arabs and only about 5 million Jews, this little state has become more and more of an irritant every day to the Arabs and the Moslems in the Middle East.

However, you must remember that the land of the Jewish state is God's land (Leviticus 25:23) and God has given the land to the Jewish people. The Lord, through His ancient Jewish prophets, said that there would be trouble between Israel and her neighbors (Joel 2, Ezekiel 35, and Isaiah 17 - plus many other passages). In fact, the armies of the world will gather at Jerusalem in the last days to destroy the Jewish state and it is at that time that Jesus Christ comes back to save His chosen people, the Jewish people.

The Financial Times is correct. Israel is the cause of the Middle East conflict and that is based on Bible prophecy - that will be fulfilled.

The death of Osama bin Laden brings to a close one chapter and opens another

Listen to Today's Program Play

As President Obama addressed the people of the United States with the report of a successful special military operation that resulted in the death of America's number one enemy, Osama bin Laden, the leaders of the intelligence community cautioned the world to be ready for an onslaught of new terroristic activity in reaction to bin Laden's death. Bin Laden had ordered the attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City, the Pentagon, and possibly either the Capital Building in Washington or the White House, a mission that failed because of the actions of people aboard the aircraft that crashed into the fields in Pennsylvania.

The fear now is that numerous attacks will be launched around the world in retaliation of bin Laden's death and another terroristic leader will surface to replace bin Laden.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Osama bin Laden is dead, an action that will set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Almost a decade after Osama bin Laden ordered the attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington DC, the mastermind of these horrific attacks has been killed and, as many have said, justice has been served. However, this is not the end of the story. Remember, al Qaeda was not a hierarchy but instead, a network of terrorists around the world. The threat of Islamic terrorism has not gone away. It may, in fact, intensify in its efforts to rule the world. Bin Laden was the symbol of the desire of those who want to rule this world with an Islamic caliphate, a worldwide kingdom.

Though the Bible never mentions the word, "Islam" or "Moslem", the ideology of Islam is the unspoken word missing from the prophetic scenario found in a number of prophecies written by several ancient Jewish prophets. Daniel and Ezekiel list a group of nations, all Islamic, that will come to power in the last days (Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38). Joel, another ancient Jewish prophet wrote of a massive militia that will arise in the last days to play a major role in the end of times events (Joel 2). John the Apostle, in the book of Revelation, foretold of a world that will come under the Satanic attack of these Islamic warriors during the Tribulation period (Revelation 16-19).

Osama bin Laden's death has indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
