Palestinian terrorist leaders call for all Palestinians to meet at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem

Standing at the Eretz Crossing, the border between Israel and the Gaza Strip, the Hamas leader, Prime Minister Ismael Haniyah, called for all Palestinians to meet together on the Temple Mount, the al Aksa Mosque, in Jerusalem, which Haniyah said will remain Arab and Moslem. Haniyah said that the Palestinians have overcome the occupation referring to the Israeli Jewish state and that he was proud of all the Palestinians of the 1948 territories indicating that the Israeli Arabs had now joined forces in the Palestinian struggle against the Jewish state.

The Palestinian protesters who joined Prime Minister Haniyah waved Palestinian flags and called on Israel to put a stop to the ongoing war crimes that the Palestinians claim are happening in the Gaza Strip.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A call to arms by a Palestinian leader who wants all Palestinians to meet at the al Aksa Mosque in Jerusalem is a call to see Bible prophecy fulfilled.

The Palestinian Hamas leader, Ismael Haniyah, in his call for all Palestinians to meet on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem at the al Aksa Mosque, is moving into a leadership role among all of the Palestinians, not only the members of Hamas. Hamas has been identified by the United States and other nations of the world as a Palestinian Islamic fundamental terrorist group. Hamas has also vowed to never recognize the right of the Jews to have a state in the Middle East. In fact, Hamas has called for the total elimination of the Jewish state of Israel and the establishment of a Palestinian state where today Israel is located.

The ancient Jewish prophets spoke in their prophecies of a scenario similar to what we see happening today among the Palestinian people. Malachi wrote of the return of the Edomites, the Palestinian people of today and that these people would return to Israel and rebuild with borders that God would call "wicked" (Malachi 1:1-4). Ezekiel revealed the events that we see happening today, the Palestinians killing Jews and then taking the land that God has given to the Jewish people (Ezekiel 35). Obadiah, in his little book, spoke of how this conflict would end with the Jewish defeat of the Palestinians (Obadiah 15-18).

Hamas leader Haniyah's call for Palestinians to meet in Jerusalem is a call to see Bible prophecy fulfilled.

There are more Jews living in Israel today than any other nation of the world

The latest population records from the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics reveal that the total population of the state of Israel is more than 7.5 million with 75% of that population, over 5.6 million, being Jewish, the largest population of Jews in any nation of our world.

During 2009, the Israeli population grew by 1.8% with 20% of Israel's population being Arabs and over 300,000 from other ethnic groups with four times as many babies being born as there have been deaths recorded in Israel.

One significant number in the increase of Israeli population was the total number of new immigrants in 2009, a rise of 17% increase in immigration made by Jews from around the world into the Jewish state of Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The ever increasing population of the state of Israel is evidence that Bible prophecy is today being fulfilled.

With the release of the new population numbers from the Israeli Central Bureau of Statistics which reports that Israel's present population has reached 7.5 million people, we see that Jewish people continue to come back to the land of their forefathers. The 17% increase in the number of Jew immigrating to Israel indicates that Jews outside of Israel realize their responsibility to return to the land of their forefathers. This report is evidence that Bible prophecy is in the process of being fulfilled.

The ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel wrote 2500 years ago that the Lord would reach into the four corners of the earth and bring Jews back home to Israel. Ezekiel 34:11-30 records the Lord's statement of "I will" and He uses that phrase 18 times: "I will find my people wherever they have been scattered", "I will bring them into the land of their forefathers, the land of Israel", "I will feed them on the mountains of Israel like a good shepherd feeds his flock", and the "I wills" continue 18 times, I will find my people and bring them back into their land.

The latest population numbers released by Israel indicates that Ezekiel's prophecies are indeed being fulfilled today.

The Chief Rabbi of Israel has started a campaign against abortion because it is delaying the redemption of the Jewish people

In a letter released by the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Yona Metzger, the rabbi calls for all rabbis in Israel to strengthen their work in the anti-abortion campaign and wants each of the rabbis to take steps to reduce the number of abortions each year in the Jewish state.

Rabbi Metzger also said that abortions among Jewish people actually delay the redemption of the Jewish people and the chief rabbi called on every rabbi in Israel to devot their sermons to emphasize the severe Halakuk Jewish Law that prohibits a Jewish woman from having an abortion.

Rabbi Metzger wants all Jews to remember the story of Moses as found in the first several chapters of Exodus and how this great Jewish leader himself escaped the horrific act of abortion.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The campaign in Israel against abortion led by Israel's chief rabbi is indeed a campaign that will hasten the redemption of the Jewish people that is according to Bible prophecy.

Israel's Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger has called for the rabbinical leadership of the Jewish state to stand up and fight against abortion in the state of Israel. The chief rabbi reminded all of those who would listen that the great Jewish leader Moses escaped the horrific death by abortion even as the King of Egypt 3500 years ago had called for all male Jewish babies to be killed.

The first chapter of Exodus reveals the record of the Hebrew midwives who refused to obey the king's command and because they feared God, Moses was born as the great Jewish prophet. Another Jewish prophet, Jeremiah, was chosen before his birth or even his conception, in fact chosen by God in eternity past to be a prophet to the nations, Jeremiah 1:5, indicating that life begins in the mind of God.

Murder of an innocent baby, which according to the Bible is a person, even while in the womb of the mother, the murder of this person is blasphemy against God as any murder might be according to Biblical law. Ezekiel wrote that in the last days, the Jewish people would return to the land of their forefathers and they would be the people of God and He would be their God, Ezekiel 36-37.

This is Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

There are more al Qaeda trained young men in Yemen planning to bring down American passenger jets

According to ABC television network and its investigative reporter, Brian Ross, there may be more al Qaeda trained young men in Yemen planning to bring down American passenger jets and this threat is based upon what the man who attempted the Christmas Day terror attack on a Northwest airline told US officials when he was questioned. The leader of al Qaeda in Yemen released a video tape just before Christmas where he warned what was planned for America when he said that members of al Qaeda will be carrying bombs to hit the enemies of God.

Yemen has become a principle training ground, the location where the young Nigerian supposedly received his training to carry out a suicide terrorist attack on an American airliner.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The failed Christmas Day terrorist attack on a US passenger jet airliner is evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The failed Christmas Day terror attack on a US jet airliner is actually only the tip of the iceberg according to the accused terrorist who said that there are many more young men like him in the pipeline that will carry out an attack against the United States. Abdulmutallab, the Nigerian accused of the attempted terrorist attack, says he was trained and supplied with the bomb making material in Yemen where many other potential terrorists are being trained to carry out these horrendous attacks against innocent people. Their call to arms is that these Moslem radicals are in a war against the enemies of the Islamic god Allah, which he claims would be the Christian United States and the Jewish state of Israel.

The fact is, that the words "Islam" and "Muslim" are not mentioned in the Bible but God's Word does mention the nations that will rise up against the Christians and Jews in the last days and they are listed in Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38, and Psalm 83 - and they are all Moslem nations. The Psalmist in Psalm 83 tells God in his prayer that the enemies of the true God, the ones that hate Him, will raise up their heads in the last days and attack. The main focus of these terrorists are two fold: Israel and the United States - the little Satan and the big Satan, and the terrorist attacks against Israel and the United States are indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

There has been a miraculous mysterious birth reported to have taken place in a shepherd's field near Bethlehem in Israel

We have a report of a birth taking place in an open field near the little Arab village of Bethlehem. The shepherds are reporting they have found the newborn babe with His parents; the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger, a food trough for the animals.

There are also reports that last night, their were Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) in the skies over and around Bethlehem. Some of the shepherds are saying that the UFOs were actually angels and this host of angels were actually singing joyful songs of the long awaited Jewish Messiah. There are unconfirmed reports that this little baby is the One that has been spoken of by the ancient Jewish prophets for hundreds of years, the one to be born in Bethlehem and to become the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords, the Son of God.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The birth of Jesus Christ fulfilled all the prophecies in the Bible for the presence of God with us - Emmanuel - and it does actually set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

For over 2,000 years the story of the birth of Christ - which is recorded in four chapters of the Bible Matthew 1-2 and Luke 1-2, actually only 168 verses - has been responsible for authors writing so many books that one library could not contain all of the volumes. The composers have penned the music and lyrics for musical manuscripts with Jesus Christ as the theme of these musical numbers, the most used theme in all of music history.

Though Jesus never traveled more than 100 miles from His hometown, men and women have traveled to the far reaches of this earth to tell others the story of this man, the God-man born 2,000 years ago in Bethlehem. It is interesting to note that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, started in a cradle, a manger, He carried His cross to where they would crucify Him, but death could not keep Him, He arose from the dead 3 days later. As He left this world to go back to Heaven, He promised that He would come again to earth, this time wearing a crown.

This God-man, Emmanuel - God with us - came by way of the cradle to the cross and soon He will come wearing a crown; Jesus Christ, the Messiah, who has and will fulfill Bible prophecy.

The mayor of Bethlehem says that his little town is ready for Christmas

The mayor of the little town of Bethlehem says that his little village is ready for Christmas and the hotels are fully booked by the thousands of Christian pilgrims that will make their way to the birthplace of Jesus Christ who also visited this little town some 2000 years ago. Mayor Victor Batarseh says Bethlehem has dressed up to mark this historic occasion with choirs all over the world filing into Manger Square with the annual musical celebration and the midnight mass that will be telecast around the world at midnight this Christmas Eve.

There will be tight security for the Christian pilgrims who will visit Bethlehem, thousands coming from all over the world to celebrate the birth of their Messiah Jesus Christ and as they gather in Manger Square there will be joining with other Christians around the world to pray for peace in the Middle East and worldwide at this Christmas time.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Christmas celebration in the little town of Bethlehem is evidence that Bible prophecy has been fulfilled and will be fulfilled in the future.

With the hustle and bustle of getting ready for Christmas, buying the gifts, the family coming to visit, and of course the big Christmas dinner, often we forget about the real reason for the season. The town fathers in the little town of Bethlehem, both Christians and Moslems, will be very busy on this Christmas Eve as the world watches on a special satellite telecast from Manger Square and the Church of the Nativity. They will watch the festive celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

The Bible reveals, in 300 prophecies, the first coming of Jesus Christ which were all fulfilled in absolute detail by the One who claimed to be the Son of God. The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ did prove that the babe born in Bethlehem was who He said He was and will do what He said He will do. He will come back to Earth again.

Our world today seems to be ready to fulfill all of the prophecies of His Second Coming and it could be today that Jesus Christ calls us to be with Him at the Rapture of the Church.

At Christmas time we look back to the birth of Jesus Christ but we must look forward to His coming. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

A Russian Middle East expert says there will be no peace in the Middle East in the next decade - or longer

A Russian expert on the Middle East at the Institute of Strategic Studies says that the Middle East peace process is unlikely to produce any tangible results in the next decade or two, meaning that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is highly unlikely to be settled either by 2020 or 2030.

Serge Demidenko says that there must be a solution for three vital issues before there can be resolution to the conflict. Those issues are the status of Jerusalem, the refugee problem, and the Israeli settlement construction. Demidenko says that the current political situation on both sides does not allow the ability to bring the sides to the negotiating table.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Russians are correct if they mean there will be no true peace in the Middle East in the near future. But according to Bible prophecy a pseudo, short-lived peace could be in place in the very near future.

As has been the case for numbers of years in the Middle East, there are world leaders working to bring a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and bring peace to this war-torn region. Now a Russian expert on the Middle East says there will be no peace in the foreseeable future, most likely not in the next two decades.

If we look at the history of the peacemaking process, the Russians are most likely correct; however, when you look at current events in light of Biblical prophecy, you will realize how close we could be to peace in the Middle East; howbeit, a pseudo, short-lived peace.

The ancient Jewish prophet Daniel, wrote that there would come out of the Revived Roman Empire, a world leader that will confirm a peace agreement in the Middle East, Daniel 7:7-24 and Daniel 9:27.

The recent ratification of the European Union treaty and the election of the two main leaders for the European Union has put in place all that is needed to revive the old Roman Empire. The leader of that powerful political structure will be the one to confirm, not sign, but to confirm the three peace treaties that Israel has already on the table with their neighbors, Egypt, Jordan and the Palestinians.

Again I must say, the prophecy of Daniel 9:27 will be fulfilled.

The cataclysmic explosion of a giant star is the most distant object ever detected by telescopes

NASA's Swift space observatory which is tuned to see high energy gamma ray emitted from extreme events has picked up a colossal blast, the cataclysmic explosion of a giant star, the most distant single object ever detected by telescopes.

Other telescopes that followed up on the signal confirmed the source to be more than 13 billion light years away and scientists say the star's destruction probably resulted in what astronomers call a black hole.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The cataclysmic explosion of a giant star at the most distant location ever detected by scientists has a past significance as well as a prophetic significance according to Bible prophecy.

With the power of a satellite that can see farther into outer space than ever before, the scientific world has observed the most distant single object ever detected by a telescope, the cataclysmic explosion of a giant star. The scientific world believes this event will give them more information on the origins of our universe, a quest for truth that is not looking to the right source for the truth when all they must do is look to the source for this knowledge written by the only One who observed it happen and could do it again, and in fact will do it again.

Let me explain. The Bible, Genesis chapter 1, tells how God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them including this star that exploded deep in space., Genesis 1:1-16. In the future, God will destroy this whole universe, II Peter 3:10, and create, as He did the first time, new heavens and a new earth, Revelation 21:1. The Apostle Peter wrote that very brilliant people will be dumb on purpose at the time of the end and they will deny the truth of Creation given to us by God, the One who did it, observed it and then had Moses write about it, II Peter 3:5-7.

The Apostle Peter also said people who deny God created the heavens and the earth and all that in them is will also deny that Jesus Christ is coming back, but I must remind you that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Hollywood production of the end of the world epic "2012" is a reminder that they believe the world could end three years from today

The Hollywood film company Sony had its greatest success this year with the end of the world film epic "2012" which had the theme of how the Mayan calendar predicts that the end of the world will happen on December 21, 2012 - three years from today. The film has caused many people around the world to look into the claims of the ancient Mayan people who lived in the area of Central America near Mexico over 1000 years ago and were masters at keeping time without any of the instruments that we have today like the computer.

The Mayan calendar, according to the ancient writings that have been discovered in recent years, is to end in 2012 with a global catastrophic event in what many are calling the end of the world.

Jimmy's Prophetic prospective on the News

According to the Hollywood film epic "2012" this world will come to an end exactly three years from today which is in contradiction to what Bible prophecy says about the end of the world.

The Hollywood production "2012" made a lot of money for its producer, the Sony company, and at the same time, brought to the attention of everyone that saw this epic film, the possibility of the world coming to an end on December 21, 2012. Let me set you at ease. The world will not end on December 21, 2012 according to Bible prophecy.

The prophetic scenario for the end times includes a number of events before the end of the world. The next event is the Rapture of the church followed by a seven year period of judgment on the Earth called the Tribulation (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 4-19). Jesus Christ will return to the Earth (Zechariah 14:4) and set up His thousand year kingdom (Revelation 20:4-6). After the kingdom, then the world is destroyed (II Peter 3:10). And there will be new heavens and a new Earth (Revelation 21).

The reality of 2012 is not the end of the world at that time but at a later date in history. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

There is a religious war against Christmas taking place in Jerusalem

On the streets of Jerusalem there is a religious war against Christmas going on as orthodox rabbis are calling for public boycotts of restaurants and hotels that sell or put up Christmas trees or other Christmas symbols. The organization behind the boycotts, the Lobby for Jewish Values, says that Jews have given their souls over the years to maintain the values of the Torah and their Jewish identity. These religious Jews are calling for the merchants in Jerusalem to not give in to the clownish atmosphere and not to sell or put up the foolish symbols of Christianity.

Jimmy's Prophetic prospective on the News

The war going on in the streets of Jerusalem over Christmas is evidence that God's Word is true and that Bible prophecy has and will be fulfilled.

In an effort to shut down any appearance of the reality that a person who came to the Earth claiming that he was the Son of God might indeed have been the Son of the Most High God, there are religious Jews in Jerusalem who have organized a campaign and are intense in their efforts to remove any Christmas symbols. For these Jews to deny that this man, Jesus Christ, has impacted the world for 2000 years is destined to fail according to what is recorded in the Bible. More books have been written about Jesus Christ than any other subject in history. More songs have the theme of their music the person of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. And, in fact, there is no other man in history who has made such an impact on humankind.

The over 300 prophecies in the Old Testament pointing to the Messiah, even His miraculous Virgin Birth, were all fulfilled in absolute detail by Jesus Christ. The 35 miracles that Jesus Christ performed during His life here on Earth also confirmed that He is the Messiah. The many prophecies surrounding His death, burial, and resurrection shout out to all of mankind that Jesus was and is the true Messiah. The proof is overwhelming.

Bible prophecy also reveals that this same Jesus Christ will come a second time to the Earth, and the truth be known, the first coming of Jesus Christ is evidence that indeed He will come again and maybe very soon.

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Jews have erected a temple in Jerusalem but it is not located on the Temple Mount

On a rooftop in the Jewish Quarter on the Old City of Jerusalem and overlooking the Temple Mount is a newly constructed temple model weighing over one ton and this temple model is for the purpose of teaching the Jewish people their Biblical heritage as well as introducing to all non-Jews a worship center that will one day stand on the Temple Mount. This model, build on a scale of 1 to 60, is made of gold, silver, wood, and Jerusalem stone, and has a hydraulic system that raises the sanctuary section of the temple model exposing the Holy of Holies and the Ark of the Covenant.

A Jewish yeshiva, which is a place of learning, constructed this temple model for the purpose of training those who will one day work in the real temple to be built on the Temple Mount but will also inform the world of what one day will be reality in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount.

Jimmy's Prophetic prospective on the News

A model of the temple in Jerusalem overlooking the Temple Mount is a foretaste of things to come - according to Bible prophecy.

The religious Jews at the yeshiva, which is a Jewish learning center, located in Jerusalem have constructed a model of the temple that one day will stand less than one mile away on the Temple Mount and they believe that this is a step closer to seeing the temple worship restored for the Jewish people. Not only will this temple model be used at this training center to teach those qualified to work at the coming temple but it will also train all Jews to worship as their forefathers did some 2000 years ago. The model is truly a step closer to the renewal of temple sacrifice and temple worship for the Jewish people. It is also a reminder to all of mankind that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

There are many ancient Jewish prophets that speak of a coming temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Davidic Covenant, recorded in II Samuel 7, promises a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Kingdom Temple will be built by the Messiah Jesus Christ (Zechariah 6:12). The description of the Kingdom Temple can be found in Ezekiel 40-46 with 202 verses of detailed information about that temple. Daniel wrote, however, of the next temple to be built in Jerusalem (Daniel 9:27) and all the preparations have been made for that temple.

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Israeli officials say Anti-Semitism is alive and kicking

At a two day conference held in Jerusalem, the global forum for combating Anti-Semitism, over 50 nations gathered with some 500 delegates to discuss the issue of Anti-Semitism and they heard from Israel's Minister of Diaspora Affairs that not one day goes by without an expression of hatred against Jews.

The conference leader quoted the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who said that Anti-Zionism, in other words, Anti-Israel, is the same as Anti-Semitism indicating that anyone who criticizes Israel is criticizing the Jewish people.

Jimmy's Prophetic prospective on the News

The global forum to fight against Anti-Semitism held in Jerusalem reveals that being Anti-Israel is Anti-Semitic which Bible prophecy confirms as well.

Anti-Semitism is alive and kicking according to the Minister of Diaspora Affairs in Israel, Yuli Edelstein, who told 500 delegates from over 50 nations of this world that not one day goes by without an expression of hatred against Jews. Edelstein said that Jews around the world are in danger of their lives and when the state of Israel is under repeated assaults, that this is the worst kind of Anti-Semitism.

This issue, Anti-Semitism, is an issue that is not going away in the future, in fact it will only intensify according to Bible prophecy. The Jewish prophets spoke about hatred of the Jewish people in the last days, a hatred that will increase to the point that the Lord will have to intercede on behalf of the Jewish people. Jeremiah talks about the time of Jacob's Trouble, Jeremiah 30:7.

John, the Apostle, the writer of the book of Revelation, said that Israel, the Jewish people, will come under fire for a seven year period of time in the last days, Revelation 6-19. Zechariah wrote that two out of every three Jewish people will be killed during that time described in Revelation, Zechariah 13:8.

Indeed Anti-Semitism is alive and kicking and will only get worse.

Jewish people in Jerusalem and around the world are celebrating the rededication of the Jewish Temple

The eight day Jewish holy day Hanakkuh is the time that Jews around the world mark the rededication of the second temple in Jerusalem after the Greek leader Antiochus Epiphanes had desecrated the temple by slaughtering a pig on the temple alter. Over a three year period of time, the Jews grew strong enough to overthrow the Greek leader and the Maccabees ran Antiochus out of Israel and cleansed the temple and restored temple worship and practices.

In fact, the flask of virgin olive oil they used to relight the seven branched candelabra, the Menorah, stayed lighted for eight days - thus the Jewish holy days of Hanakkuh.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Jewish holy days of Hanakkuh remind us of an event that will be repeated in the future - according to Bible prophecy.

Jewish people around the world for the eight days of Hanakkuh will light a candle each day to mark the overthrow of Antiochus Epiphanes and the reconsecrating of the Jewish temple in Jerusalem over two thousand years ago.

The Maccabees rose up against the Greek leader Antiochus and after three years were able to return to temple worship and practice on Kislov 25, the Jewish month of December. Interestingly, the early church fathers selected December 25 to celebrate Christmas based upon the fact of the feast of dedication taking place on December 25, 165 B.C.

Antiochus Epiphanes had slaughtered a pig on the temple alter and stopped Jewish worship in what was referred to as the Abomination of Desolation. This event in history is a prototype of things to come, according to God's Word found in the prophetic book of Daniel. In fact, Daniel, the ancient Jewish prophet, 360 years before the fact foretold the act by Antiochus (Daniel 11:21-35). Daniel also prewrote history about the Abomination of Desolation that will take place at the midway point of the Tribulation Period in the future (Daniel 9:27).

There will be a temple in Jerusalem desecrated once again, a temple that the Jewish people are right now prepared to build. History will be repeated - Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Hamas celebrates its 22nd anniversary and calls for all of Israel to be their nation called Palestine

Tens of thousands of Palestinians turned out in the Gaza Strip to celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the founding of the Islamist group Hamas, and at the same time, the Hamas Prime Minister, Ismael Haniyah, called for the liberation of all of Palestine, the Palestinian state, which is today the Jewish state of Israel. Haniyah said that Hamas liberated the Gaza Strip with the help of the militant factions, referring to the terrorist groups operating under the umbrella of the Palestinian resistance, and then he added that they are not satisfied with Gaza, they look forward to the whole of Palestine.

Hamas, founded 22 years ago by the late Sheik Yassin, and Islamic fundamentalist radical cleric who not only wanted to take the land from the Jews by destroying the Jewish state of Israel, but he wanted to set up an Islamic republic in Palestine and live under Sharia Law, Islamic law as the law of the land.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The celebration in the Gaza Strip of the 22nd anniversary of the founding of Hamas, the Islamic terror group, is a precursor to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

As tens of thousands of Palestinians gathered in the Gaza Strip to celebrate the founding of an Islamic terror group that wants to eliminate the state of Israel and extend its liberation of Palestine from Egypt to Lebanon, the world watched the unfolding of a religiously motivated quest. The late Sheik Yassin, the founder of Hamas, based his every action and that of the Hamas warriors on the Islamic holy book, the Koran, and its call for jihad, holy war, against the Jewish occupiers of the land that he called Palestine. This short militant history of Hamas does speak to a prophetic scenario for the last days as it relates to the Palestinians, the Jews, and the land that is called Israel.

The ancient Jewish prophet Malachi wrote that the Edomites, the Biblical people known today as Palestinians, would rise up in the last days and take back what they say is theirs (Malachi 1:2-4). Another prophet, Ezekiel, said that the Palestinian people would kill the Jews and then take their land (Ezekiel 35:5-12). The end result of this militant struggle will be that the Palestinians will be defeated (the book of Obadiah).

The Hamas celebration is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

President Obama gives justification for war in his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech

In his acceptance speech of the Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo, Norway, United States President Obama gave a clear justification for war as he said that he is the commander-in-chief of a nation that is in the midst of two wars and that armed conflict is at times necessary. Obama said the reality and recognition of history with the imperfections of man and the limits of reason is why force is sometimes necessary because evil does exist in our world.

The president acknowledged that a non-violent movement could not have halted Hitler's army during the Holocaust and negotiations cannot convince al Qaeda's leaders to lay down their weapons.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

US President Obama's justification for war in his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech is stating the obvious as it relates to the future as described in Bible prophecy.

For the man who describes himself as the commander-in-chief of two wars, President Obama's justification for war in his Nobel Peace Prize acceptance speech revealed reality in today's world. President Obama's illustration of Adolf Hitler's horrific Holocaust and the armed struggle being led by the Islamic terrorist group al Qaeda are excellent examples of situations that demand an armed battle to defeat evil. Couple the use of these two illustrations with the president's referring to "war" 35 times and "peace" 29 times in his speech and you have a message to the world that speaks of a future scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Daniel 9:27 speaks of a period of peace in the future brought about through the work of a one world dictator, the Antichrist, who brings this peace to the world, howbeit, it will be a short lived pseudo-peace. Jesus Christ, in Matthew 24:16, says the future holds a terrible time of wars and rumors of wars. Joel, the ancient Jewish prophet, reveals the truth of the world's largest militant militia ever formed made up of the nations of the Arab and Islamic world (Joel 2:2). Another Jewish prophet tells of a coming Holocaust of Jewish people when 2 out of every 3 Jews on Earth will be killed (Zechariah 3:8).

There, indeed, is a prophetic significance to President Obama's speech in Oslo, Norway - a speech that gave reference to events that will yet happen.

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

There are Jews in Israel preparing for service in the rebuilt Jewish temple

A group of religious Jews who live in the Jordan Valley near the ancient city of Jericho are taking practical steps to prepare for the building of the third temple in Jerusalem by preparing descendants of the Kohanim, the priests, and the Levites for service in this next temple. These Jewish leaders have established a training center where temple priests can learn exactly how to conduct the daily temple services and offer the required sacrifices as dictated by the Jewish laws from the Biblical book of Leviticus.

The training center will include an exact replica of the temple where the student-priests can learn to do their duties which are required and this training center, the organizers believe, comes at an historic time marking the beginning of the work for the third temple.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

With the establishment of a training center in Israel to prepare the Jewish priests to operate a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem we see Bible prophecy ever so close to being fulfilled.

Recently, the Moslem violence on the Temple Mount focused the world on a controversial piece of real estate and an even more controversial project on this site - the rebuilding of a Jewish temple. Moslem concerns about the Jews taking the Temple Mount to build a temple there have been fueled by the number of projects going on to prepare for the eventuality of a Jewish temple in Jerusalem.

The Temple Institute, for example, has prepared all the implements to be used in the next temple. The Harrari Harp Factory has made the harps to be used when the next temple is erected on the Temple Mount. Gershon Solomon's Temple Mount Faithful have the cornerstone by which they hope to start construction of the next temple. Now, near Jericho in the Jordan Valley of Israel, there is a training center to teach the priests and the Levites how to serve in the next temple.

Bible prophecy says that there will be a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in the last days (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1). This a temple that will be built during the seven year Tribulation period, that time of testing yet in the future.

As evidenced by this report, the next temple has been prepared for and construction could start very soon. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The world's Moslem population is now at one in every four people on Earth, that's 1.57 billion people

The global Moslem population now stands at 1.57 billion people meaning that one in four people on the Earth practice Islam according to a report by the Pew Forum, the most comprehensive of its kind, a survey that has provided precise numbers for a population whose size has long been subject to guesswork.

The project also presents a portrait of the Moslem world with some surprises including information that there are more Moslems in Germany, China, and Russia than there are in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Libya.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The latest global survey that reveals one in every four people on the Earth practice Islam is evidence that Bible prophecy is closer to fulfillment that ever before.

For a number of years the size of the Moslem population in our world has been subject to guesswork with estimates ranging anywhere from 1 billion to 1.8 billion people. Now we have been provided with the precise numbers by the Pew Forum on religion and public life, a report that indicates the total population of the Moslem world is 1.57 billion people on Earth, that's one in every four people of the global population.

It is also interesting to note that only 40% of Moslems live in the Middle Eastern Arab countries with the rest scattered around the world with large numbers living in Asia. This information is evidence that Bible prophecy is closer to fulfillment in light of the prophecies for the last days. Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38, and Psalm 83 list the nations that will come against Israel in the last days to wipe the Jewish state off the Earth. The lowest common denominator of these nations that align themselves against Israel is that they are Moslem. The ancient Jewish prophet Joel states that a mighty militia will be formed to attack Israel (Joel 2:3-4) and the hate that radical Islam has for the Jews sets that prophecy in motion. This latest report on the global population of the Moslem world is evidence that Bible prophecy is closer to being fulfilled that ever before.

The European Foreign Ministers have called for Jerusalem to be the capital for two states: Israel and Palestine

Meeting in Brussels, Belgium, the EU foreign ministers passed a resolution for the 27-member states to recognize Jerusalem as the capital city for both Israel and a future Palestinian state and the document also called for the establishment of the Palestinian state to include not only Jerusalem but Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip.

One EU foreign minister said that Israel has a right to live in Israel and the Palestinians have a right to live in Palestine.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The call by EU foreign ministers to divide Jerusalem into the capital of two states, Israel and Palestine, is a call for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Even as the Israeli government campaigned for the EU foreign ministers to not endorse the division of Jerusalem, the decision was made to divide the city into the capital for two nations, Israel and Palestine. This political move by the EU foreign ministers is very controversial even among leaders of the EU, but it is actually in opposition to history and Bible prophecy as well.

The truth be known, there has never been a state called Palestine and thus there was never a portion of Jerusalem as the capital city of Palestine, nor was Judea and Samaria included in that state. The EU foreign ministers have put Jerusalem at the center of controversy in our world today. This scenario is in line with Bible prophecy as written by the ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah when he said that Jerusalem would be a "cup of trembling" and a burdensome stone, Zechariah 12:2-3.

The EU itself is a precursor to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy as at least the infrastructure for the revived Roman Empire if not actually the fulfillment of the revived Roman Empire as found in Daniel 7:7, 24 and Revelation 17:3, 12.

This call by the EU foreign ministers to divide Jerusalem into two capitals is indeed a call for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

World leaders gather for the Copenhagen Climate Summit and will spew out 40,000 tons of carbon

World leaders from 192 countries are meeting in Copenhagen, Denmark for the summit on climate change, better known as global warming, and will spew out some 40,000 tons of carbon getting the participants to the summit and keeping them comfortable during their stay. World leaders and their staffs will need 1200 limousines while in Copenhagen and some 140 private jets will be used to bring the leaders to the summit in addition to the 15,000 delegates and officials and the 5000 journalists who will arrive by commercial transportation. The Saudi Arabian delegates are calling for an investigation into "Climategate" warning that the scandal over stolen e-mails threatens to undermine the global warming negotiations at the Copenhagen Climate Summit.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Copenhagen Climate Summit is not only based on anti-Biblical information but it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled. Ironically and hypocritically, the leaders of the world are gathering to participate in the Copenhagen Climate Summit and they will break every rule they they want to put in place to save our world from global warming. For the two week summit, it is expected that all the delegates to the summit will spew out 40,000 tons of carbon which is more than 60 of the worlds smallest countries of our world will do in an entire year - and that is 60 countries combined. This whole summit and the global campaign to stop global warming has come about based on false science and anti-Biblical truth.

The Bible says that Jesus Christ created the Earth and all that is in it and He did it in six 24 hour days (Genesis 1, Colossians 1:16). The Apostle Paul wrote in that same letter to the Christians in Colosse that by Jesus Christ, all things are held together in our world. In other words, nothing can happen to this world unless Jesus Christ allows it to happen (Colossians 1:17). The Apostle Peter said in II Peter 3 that there would be those who are willfully ignorant of the fact that the Lord Jesus Christ created the worlds and all that is in them and today holds it together. That same group of people will also deny that Jesus Christ is coming back.

Global Warming is false and the Copenhagen Climate Summit contradicts the Bible but sets the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Israeli Jewish settlers are now in open conflict with their prime minister and his government

In a recent meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and the leaders of the Jewish settler movement, the settlers took the lead in what was described as hard and tense emotionally charged exchanges between the man that they helped get elected and those Jews who now say that they are in an open conflict with their own government. The Jewish settlers have made plans to do everything possible to overthrow the Israeli government order to stop all building in what they call God given land.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Israeli government's decision to stop all expansion of the Jewish communities in the Biblical lands of Judea and Samaria are in conflict with not only the Jewish settlers but the Bible itself.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu made what he calls a very hard decision when he announced and then began to implement the moratorium on construction on the Jewish settlements in Israel and thus stopping all expansion of the Jewish communities. Netanyahu explained that this move was to force the Palestinians to come back to the negotiating table and begin work on a peace deal to ensure coexistence of the Israelis and the Palestinians in the Middle East. Meanwhile, the Jewish settlers say that this Israeli government decision will ensure no coexistence between Jews in the Middle East and that the settlers plan to coordinate an attack on this government decision. Prime Minister Netanyahu's decision is, in fact, in conflict with Bible prophecy for the Jewish people in the land of their forefathers.

2500 years ago, the ancient Jewish prophecy Ezekiel wrote that the Lord would find the Jewish people wherever they have been scattered across the four corners of the Earth and bring them back into the land of their forefathers (Ezekiel 34:11-30). Ezekiel 35 refers to the land of the Bible, the land that God promised the Jewish people and 35 times it says that when the Jews come back into the land, the area of Judea and Samaria, that they will prosper, in fact, be better than it was in the times of their forefathers. In fact, the Lord says that He will bring the Jews back into their land not because their Jewish but for His holy name sake (Ezekiel 36:22).

Bible prophecy must be fulfilled.

An Islamic cleric in Israel says that he would rather die than to see the rebuilding of a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem

Sheik Raad Salah, the leader of the Islamic movement in Israel and speaking to Moslem students at Haifa University, told them that he would rather die than to give up the Islamic holy site where the Dome of the Rock is located in Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, and suggested the students should be ready to do the same. Sheik Salah also repeated his claim that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu was intending on completing his plan to gain control of the Temple Mount and to rebuild the Jewish temple on the site that Moslems believe is holy - the third holiest site after Mecca and Medina.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Moslems that would give their lives to protect and possess the Temple Mount in Jerusalem area actually setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The Temple Mount in Jerusalem is becoming more and more a center of controversy. The Temple Mount is the third holiest piece of real estate for Moslems. To the Jews, it the most holy site in all of the world and the site of the first and second Jewish temples. Moslems who are ready to die to protect and possess this site would fit a scenario that will be played out in the last days according to Bible prophecy.

Zechariah said that the Temple Mount would be the center of controversy in the end times (Zechariah 12:2). Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Joel said that the Moslem world would come to Jerusalem to take it from the Jewish people (Isaiah 51:3, Ezekiel 36:35, and Joel 2:3). Ezekiel also wrote of a temple on the Temple Mount for the Messiah to rule and reign from that location (Ezekiel 40 - 46). Ezekiel's temple is the temple for the kingdom period in the future. The next temple to be erected on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem will be the one standing during the seven year Tribulation period (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1). However, this next temple will not be built until after the Rapture when Christians depart from Earth for the heavens. Until that time, no one can build the temple even Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Oil drilling companies in Israel believe there could be a major source of oil at the Dead Sea

An oil drilling consortium which includes companies who found billions of dollars in natural gas off the Israeli coast are making ready to look for what they refer to as black gold in an area along the Dead Sea. Investors hope to find a major source of oil and this is based on seismic surveys in the Dead Sea area which is already a source of potassium and potash which have made the Dead Sea Works one of the world's largest exporters of the materials used for making fertilizer.

The Dead Sea, known in the Bible as the Salt Sea, is a body of water that has the densest concentration of salt and other materials in the world and is found at the lowest point on the Earth where fish and plant life do not exist in the highly salty water.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The possibility of a major oil source being found at the Dead Sea in Israel could well impact the end times scenario that is found in Bible prophecy.

For years speculators have believed that oil could be found somewhere in Israel. Some of these so-called wildcatters have raised millions of dollars to drill for the oil that could possibly be somewhere in the Jewish state. Now a very legitimate consortium of oil drillers are ready to invest their own money to see if there indeed is a major oil source at the Dead Sea as seismic surveys seem to indicate is the case.

Whether this consortium finds a major source or not the Dead Sea is already an economic money machine. The Dead Sea Works extracts potassium, potash, and other minerals and chemicals from the Dead Sea that has become a large part of Israel's economy.

Bible prophecy refers to some type of spoil that will draw Russia and the coalition of nations found in Ezekiel 38, Daniel 11, and Psalm 83 into Israel in an effort to destroy the Jewish state and reap the benefits of some type of a spoil (Ezekiel 38:12-13). In fact, verse 13 refers to gold and silver as the spoil and remember, the oil drilling consortium referred to the oil at the Dead Sea as "black gold". I believe, however, that there could well be real gold in the Dead Sea, a belief also held by many Israeli officials.

The latest natural gas find off the Israeli coast and the potential for oil at the Dead Sea continues to make Israel a prized prey for her enemies to come after. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

History was made as the EU celebrated the Lisbon Treaty becoming the law of Europe

As the Lisbon Treaty went into force on December 1st, the EU celebrated a new set of rules to put a stop to years of wrangling behind the scenes and additional setbacks that have marked the lengthy process of institutional building in the EU.

The Lisbon Treaty, which embodies most of the failed European Constitution, has as its most prominent innovation the creation of a permanent president and a beefed up foreign policy chief who will lead a new large diplomatic core.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

With the Lisbon Treaty now in force in the EU, the stage is set for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Since the signing of the Treaty of Rome by a number of European leaders on March 25, 1957, the European community has evolved into the EU that now has in place a treaty, the Lisbon Treaty, that has become the law of Europe. This tedious process has been the subject of debate over the years, but now the EU can and will become a major economic, political, governmental and military force to be reckoned with on the world stage.

With a gross national product almost twice that of the US, a common currency that is stronger than the US dollar, the EU will play a major role in the global economic crisis and a resolution to that crisis.

This report is almost in lockstep with the revelation in Bible prophecy for the end of days. The ancient Jewish prophet Daniel wrote 2500 years ago that the old Roman Empire would be revived in the last days, Daniel 2 and 7. Though I cannot say that the EU is the actual fulfillment of Daniel's prophecy, I can say that the new EU under the Lisbon Treaty and all that the treaty calls for is at least the infrastructure for the revived Roman Empire. The old Roman Empire had a legislative body, a common currency and a military operation, which is what the EU today either has in place or will have in place in the near future.

With the Lisbon Treaty in force in the EU the stage is set for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
