The G-20 has made some radical changes to set in place a new world order

World leaders from the 20 economic powers among the nations of the world agreed on some radical changes at the G-20 meeting in London while, at the same time, admitting much still needs to be done to restore the world's economy. US President Obama stated that by any measure the London summit was historic and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown declared that the Washington consensus is over and a new consensus is in place to take global action together to deal with the problems from the global economic crisis.

The G-20 leaders agreed to fund the international monitary fund, a global organization with more than a trillion dollars to cure the crisis and to set tougher restrictions in the financial dealings of the nations of the world somewhat of a new world order.

As the G-20 makes radical changes to set in place a new world order, Biblical prophecy for the last days comes better into focus.

Leaders from the top twenty industrial nations of the world met in London to see if they could bring stability to the economic crisis that has caused major financial problems to not only the top twenty industrial nations, but the poor nations in the third world as well. Gordon Brown, the British Prime Minister and host for the G-20 summit, had pushed a new world order from the outset and the actions taken by the summit attendees seem to have adopted Brown's approach to stability.

A global solution to a global crisis is right in line with the scenario in Bible prophecy for the last days. A coming world dictator, known in Scripture as the Antichrist, will bring stability to international financial crisis by having the citizens of the world become involved in a global structure that requires conformity to the dictator (Revelation 13:16-17). These verses reveal that anyone that wants to buy or sell must have a special identification in the forehead or on the back of the hand. Revelation 18 foretells of an international economic headquarters that will be located in Biblical Babylon which is modern-day Iraq.

Decisions by the G-20 did bring Bible prophecy better into focus - Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.
