JD: The Jordanians have been holding a military exercise in preparation for a war with Israel. What do we know about that and how key is this?
DD: Well again Jimmy we’ve seen the relations between Israel and Jordan deteriorate over the past several years really. Of course strong condemnation of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s declaration that Israeli communities in the Jordan Valley would be in next to Israel. That Israel would never alleviate that valley which as you pointed out a few weeks ago is considered to be the front line defense for Israel. We have not just Jordan to the east right along the border but a little bit beyond that is Iraq and then of course Iran.
It seems like the Jordanians are trying to stand in the
middle. They are worried that if there is an attack by Iran that Jordan might
feel pressed to get in on the side of Israel’s enemies. That’s of course exactly
what happened in 1967 during the Six Day War and did join in on that war. And
of course lost Judea and Samaria the West Bank of the kingdom in Jordan lost
that to Israel and that remains a hot issue today.
JD: King Abdullah has to understand what’s happening in Israel.
There are so many Palestinians. I think about 75 percent of the population of Jordan
would be Palestinians. And the King there needs to have the wisdom of his father
King Hussein. King Abdullah has to make decisions based upon that doesn’t he?
DD: Well he does Jimmy. They’re still expecting Iran is going to
try and do something. Hezbollah is still firmly in their pocket and of course King
Abdullah right in the middle there. Jordan right in the middle of all these
hostilities going on around them.
JD: David Dolan explaining why Jordan is holding military
exercises in preparation for a war with Israel.
We report this information because it is setting the stage
for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
Dave’s Middle East news update reveals Jordan’s concern that
they may have a war with the Jewish state of Israel. However, Bible prophecy
does not predict that will be the case. Daniel 11:40 & 41 does reveal that
the Antichrist will defend Israel in the first half of the seven-year Tribulation
period. The Antichrist will travel through Jordan in Biblical terms Ammon,
Moab and Edom through Jordan and not go to war. The reason for that is the city
of Petra located in southern Jordan. It’s a place prepared by God to protect
the Jewish people. Hostilities may surface between Israel and Jordan but no war
is foretold between these two Middle Eastern Nations in Bible prophecy.
