Iraqi PM Maliki says his war torn nation is open for business

Iraqi PM Maliki, on a state visit to Germany, said his war torn, battle scarred nation is now safer and is back in business because his government has managed to save the country from a civil war.

Maliki said that Iraq was getting back on its feet and aimed to revive its historically strong ties with Europe's biggest economy, Germany, recognizing that Germany is in a unique position to help rebuild Iraq. Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany, said Iraq is a country rich in raw materials and has broad technological and industrial know-how to help rebuild Iraq and do it quickly to bring stability to the region.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The statement by Iraqi PM Maliki that his war torn nation is open for business is a precursor to a prophetic scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

The war torn nation of Iraq has weathered the demise of its long time dictator, Saddam Hussein, it has also weathered an Islamic insurgency and what many believe to be a civil war with no end in sight to now be ready to begin trade agreements with other nations of the world. Germany's Angela Merkel was right on when she said Iraq has a wealth of natural resources. According to petroleum experts, Iraq has the greatest oil sources in the world and has only used two percent of that source.

This sets the stage for Iraq to become one of the richest countries in the world, if not the richest and that would set the stage for Iraq, Biblical Babylon, to become the economic, political, governmental capital of the world as foretold in Bible prophecy, Revelation 18. The Antichrist will set in place an economic system that will make Iraq the trading capital of the world, Revelation 18, 13:16-18. This prophetic scenario will then be followed by the total destruction of Babylon, modern day Iraq, Isaiah 13, 14, Jeremiah 50, 51, and Revelation 16:17-20.

The war torn nation of Iraq back in business does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
