There are Jews in Israel preparing for service in the rebuilt Jewish Temple

A group of religious Jews who live in the Jordan Valley near the ancient city of Jericho are taking practical steps to prepare for the building of the third temple in Jerusalem by preparing descendants of the Kohanim, the priests, and the Levites for service in this next temple. These Jewish leaders have established a training center where temple priests can learn exactly how to conduct the daily temple services and offer the required sacrifices as dictated by the Jewish laws from the Biblical book of Leviticus.

The training center will include an exact replica of the temple where the student-priests can learn to do their duties which are required and this training center, the organizers believe, comes at an historic time marking the beginning of the work for the third temple.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

With the establishment of a training center in Israel to prepare the Jewish priests to operate a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem we see Bible prophecy ever so close to being fulfilled.

Recently, the Moslem violence on the Temple Mount focused the world on a controversial piece of real estate and an even more controversial project on this site - the rebuilding of a Jewish temple. Moslem concerns about the Jews taking the Temple Mount to build a temple there have been fueled by the number of projects going on to prepare for the eventuality of a Jewish temple in Jerusalem.

The Temple Institute, for example, has prepared all the implements to be used in the next temple. The Harrari Harp Factory has made the harps to be used when the next temple is erected on the Temple Mount. Gershon Solomon's Temple Mount Faithful have the cornerstone by which they hope to start construction of the next temple. Now, near Jericho in the Jordan Valley of Israel, there is a training center to teach the priests and the Levites how to serve in the next temple.

Bible prophecy says that there will be a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in the last days (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1). This a temple that will be built during the seven year Tribulation period, that time of testing yet in the future.

As evidenced by this report, the next temple has been prepared for and construction could start very soon. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Palestinian Authority president says that Jerusalem will be the Palestinian capital city

Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas told the American peace envoy that the Palestinian people will not accept any other city for the capital for their Palestinian state except Jerusalem and the Palestinians would insist on receiving control over the eastern section of the city of Jerusalem. The Palestinian Authority president says it is very important that it would be clear which part of the capital, Jerusalem, belongs to the Palestinians and which part belongs to Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The claim by the President of the Palestinian Authority that Jerusalem will be the capital of a Palestinian state is in contradiction to Bible prophecy for the last days and the Israelis and the Palestinians.

The Palestinians since 1967 have been claiming that their state, Palestine, that this state will have Jerusalem as its capital city. Meanwhile, the Israeli leaders say that Jerusalem is the eternal, undivided capital of the Jewish people. There seems to be no middle ground for the Jews and the Palestinians and neither side is ready to compromise.

There are several thoughts that come to mind as I consider this complex situation. First of all, history reveals that there never has been a Palestinian state and thus Jerusalem has never been its capital. Secondly, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is about more than Jerusalem. The Palestinians don't want a Jewish state they want all of the land of Israel as their Palestinian state.

Bible prophecy speaks to both issues. The ancient Jewish prophets Ezekiel, Malachi, Jeremiah, and Obadiah say that in the end the Palestinians will be destroyed (Ezekiel 35, Malachi 1, Jeremiah 49, and the little book of Obadiah. Zechariah says that Jerusalem will be the center of controversy in the last days (Zechariah 12:2). But Zechariah also quotes Jesus in chapter 1:14-16 where it says Jesus will come back to Jerusalem and build His temple in the city.

The final solution for Jerusalem will be resolved by Bible prophecy - Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

As Jews around the world celebrate Passover, there is a call for the temple to be built in Jerusalem right away

The eight day feast of Passover and Unleavened Bread begin at sundown today and Jewish families around the world will sit at a Passover meal to rehearse the story of the first Passover some 3500 years ago as the Jews led by Moses were able to leave the bondage of Egypt for the Promised Land in Israel.

Meanwhile, there is an advertising campaign underway in Jerusalem with posters on over 200 public buses calling for removal of the Dome of the Rock, a Moslem building on the Temple Mount to be replaced by the Jewish temple and those calling for the temple want it to be built in the very near future.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The advertising campaign in Jerusalem calling for the Jewish temple to be rebuilt as Jews celebrate Passover is a precursor to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

The celebration of the Jewish feast day of Passover marks the exodus of over 2 million Jews from the Egyptian bondage some 3500 years ago as Moses led the Israelites toward the Promised Land. This year the Passover will include as it has for centuries the prayer for the Jewish temple to be rebuilt in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount. However, the year a major advertising campaign is going on in Jerusalem calling for the Dome of the Rock to be removed and the third Jewish temple to be rebuilt on the Temple Mount. These religious Jews that are behind this campaign say that the Israel Supreme Court's decision to not allow the Passover sacrifice and the presence of a Moslem building on Judaism's holiest site must be changed by next year's Passover.

Bible prophecy does call for the Passover sacrifice to take place once again at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem (Ezekiel 45:21-22). That passage is referring to the temple that the Messiah Jesus Christ will build when He returns to the earth. However, let me remind you that before Messiah's temple will be on the Temple Mount, there will be a temple in Jerusalem (Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4, and Revelation 11:1). All the preparations for that next temple have been made and its ready to be built on the Temple Mount.

The call by Jewish worshipers for a temple in Jerusalem on this Passover is indeed a precursor to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

Hundreds of thousands of Christians gather in Jerusalem to celebrate Passion week

From literally around the world, hundreds of thousands of Christian pilgrims have traveled to Jerusalem to celebrate what has been termed Passion week, the nine day period of time between the Triumphal Entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem and His death, burial, and resurrection. On Sunday, these Christian pilgrims by the thousands will make their way down the traditional path from the Mount of Olives to the Old City of Jerusalem and to the Temple Mount to reenact the humble entry of Jesus Christ on the back of a donkey some 2000 years ago.

Israeli security and Jerusalem police are on high alert, not only for the Christian pilgrims, but also for the start of the eight day Jewish feast of Passover that begins on Monday evening.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The reenactment of the Triumphal Entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem under tight Israeli security is evidence that the world is getting closer to the return of Jesus Christ once again according to Bible prophecy.

As Christian pilgrims from around the world gather in Jerusalem to remember and reenact the Triumphal Entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem almost 2000 years ago, there is a heavy Israeli security presence to make certain there will not be any violence to the participants in this Christian tradition. The fact that security forces are needed for this religious ritual to take place is a glaring evidence of the times in which our world finds itself today.

A city that is important to three main religions; Islam, Judaism, and Christianity, has been and will continue to be in the news and the center of controversy as the Bible predicted 2500 years ago (Zechariah 12:2-3). However, my focus is on the gathering of Christians from around the world to Jerusalem to mark this first Triumphal Entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem that ended with His death, burial, and resurrection. It is because of what happened 2000 years ago during this Passion week that we have the assurance that Jesus Christ will return to Jerusalem with the real the Triumphant Entry, this time to be the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords (Zechariah 14:4).

Again I mention the high security surrounding this years celebration and the Lord's first the Triumphal Entry as evidence that we are quickly approaching the second and final the Triumphal Entry as the Messiah Jesus Christ returns to Jerusalem.

Current events prove that Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.

US military weapons have been inscribed with secret Jesus Bible codes

According to an ABC Network News investigation, coded references to the New Testament Bible passages about Jesus Christ have been inscribed in high powered rifle sights provided to the US military by a Michigan company in violation of US military rules.

The rifle sights in question have been used by US troops, mostly Marines in Iraq and Afghanistan and in the training of both Iraqi and Afghan soldiers, many of whom are of the Islamic faith.

US military rules specifically prohibit the proselytizing of any religion in Iraq or Afghanistan in order to prevent criticism that the US has embarked on a religious crusade in its war against Al Qaeda and Iraqi insurgents.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Bible verses inscribed on high powered rifle sights used in combat locations may be against US military rules, but it does speak to the prophetic scenario for the last days.

The ABC Network News investigation that revealed Bible verses being inscribed on rifles sights destined for combat troops in war zones is somewhat of a shocker to many of those who oppose Christianity in our world today. Most of the verses inscribed on the sights are speaking to the fact that Jesus Christ is the Light of the world needed in the dark places of this world, verses like II Corinthians 4:6 and John 18:12.

There were some verses included from Matthew and Revelation speaking of the prophetic scenario that calls for wars and rumors of wars from verses like Matthew 24:7 and numerous passages in Revelation referring to the end time wars.

It may be politically incorrect to have these Biblical verses inscribed on these rifle sights, but indeed it is prophetically correct in light of how these weapons will be used. Revelation 6:3-4 speak specifically of a major war in the Middle East and Revelation 18 foretells of Iraq, Biblical Babylon today, as the location of the military headquarters for the one-world dictator in the last days, the Antichrist.

Revelation 19 tells of the mother of all battles, the battle of Armageddon.

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Israeli PM Netanyahu meets with US President Obama in a closed door session at the White House

In an unusual pair of low profile, closed door meetings at the White House, the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and US President Obama met to discuss the relationship between the two countries with both sides holding different opinions on how to proceed with the Middle East peace process.

President Obama wants Israel to stop all building in not only the Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria but in the Eastern section of Jerusalem as well to which the Israeli PM has repeatedly said that Jerusalem is not a settlement, it is the capital of the Jewish state of Israel.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A meeting at the White House between the US President and the Israeli PM discussing the future of the Jewish state is evidence that Bible prophecy is moving closer to fulfillment.

It is rare when two heads of state, especially very close allies, meet at the White House in what has been termed a 'closed door session' between the US president and the Israeli PM. Netanyahu, in a speech before his White House meeting, stated that 3000 years ago, King David was building in Jerusalem and that Jewish people today are going to continue to build in Jerusalem. The Israeli PM also told US leaders that Jerusalem is not a settlement, it is the capital city of the state of Israel.

This report is evidence of how human government is being used today to set the stage for the end of time scenario that will be played out especially in the Jewish state of Israel. God has used human government down through history to deal with the Jewish people. II Chronicles 36 records how the Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar was used to take the Jewish people out of their land. Ezra 1 reveals how Cyrus, the Persian king, was used to allow the Jewish people to return to Jerusalem and rebuild their Temple. The Roman General Titus and his mighty army destroyed the Temple, devastated the city of Jerusalem, and dispersed the Jews to the four corners of the earth as Jesus Christ had said it would happen, Matthew 24 and Luke 21. Revelation 17:17 says that God will use human world leaders to fulfill His end time prophecies as well.

The White House meeting between Obama and Netanyahu is indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Israelis view President Obama as pro-Arab and one rabbi says the US president is not the Almighty

In a recent public opinion poll taken in Israel, a lop sided plurality of 42% of Israelis viewed President Obama as pro-Arab and only 7% see him as pro-Israel.

Meanwhile, a rabbi who served in the Israeli Knesset, Rabbi Chaim Druckman, says that US President Barack Obama thinks he holds the wheel in his hand and leads the world, but according to the rabbi, the people of Israel deal with the Almighty who leads this world.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Israeli rabbi who says the Almighty, not Barack Obama, leads this world and controls Israel is right on target that is according to Bible prophecy.

For more than a year, US President Obama has been dictating to the Israeli government what must be done in order for the peace process to work and to bring an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. President Obama first addressed the Islamic world from Cairo, Egypt and said that the Israeli Jewish settlements are illegal and must be removed. The recent flap over Jewish building in Jerusalem is the absolute evidence that President Obama wants to control the Israeli government and its prime minister. This motivated one very prestigious Israeli rabbi ,Chaim Druckman, to say the obvious, that Barack Obama is not the Almighty and that the Jewish state does not take direction from President Obama but the Jews take their orders from the Almighty.

God's Word, the Bible, does agree with the rabbi that the Almighty is still in charge. God brought the Jews into existence and they are His chosen people, Deuteronomy 7:6-8. God has chosen to dwell among His people, the Jewish people, in Jerusalem and that He will do forever, Psalm 132:13-14.

Today, all of Judaism does not look to the God of the Bible as their leader, however, there is a large segment of Jewish people who believe in the new covenant of Jeremiah 31 which says that the Lord will be their God and the Jewish people, His people, the Almighty's people, and that will happen in the future, Jeremiah 31:31-34.

The Israeli government warns that a Jewish Passover sacrifice on the Temple Mount would provoke the Moslems

The state of Israel has petitioned the Israeli Supreme Court to forbid Jews bringing sacrifices to the Temple Mount for the historic Biblical sacrifice for the Passover lambs because such and activity would provoke the Moslem world. The state of Israel says that the Passover sacrifice would be a dangerous provocation of Moslem sensitivities and deal a severe blow to public safety and security in the city of Jerusalem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Israeli government calling for no Passover sacrifices on the Temple Mount today will have no effect on the Passover sacrifice to take place in Jerusalem in the future that is according to Bible prophecy.

The fear of provoking the Moslem world with allowing Jews to perform a Passover sacrifice on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is evidence that the Israeli government doesn't really believe in freedom of religion for the Jewish people in their own nation. The Temple Mount Institute, the organization that petitioned the Israeli Supreme Court for permission to simply keep the Biblical law for Jews to sacrifice a lamb at the Temple Mount before Passover says that Israel must obey God and then allow Him to take care of any Moslem violence.

This report is evidence that the Gentile world is today controlling the religious activities and the political activities as well of the Jewish people and the city of Jerusalem as Jesus said that they would (Luke 21:24). When Jesus returns to the earth to build His temple (Zechariah 6:12) there will be sacrifices restored to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in Messiah's Temple as foretold in Ezekiel 40-46. In fact, the Passover sacrifice will be one of the three sacrifices in the temple that Jesus builds (Ezekiel 45:21-22). The sacrificial activities in Messiah's future temple will be done in memorial for what Jesus Christ did as the Sacrificial Lamb when He was crucified in Jerusalem.

The Supreme Court petition aside, sacrifices will take place on the Temple Mount in the future. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The Middle East Quartet tells Israel how to live in its capital city of Jerusalem

At a meeting in Moscow of the Middle East Quartet which is made up of the United States, the European Union, Russia, and the United Nations, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, told Israel to stop all kinds of building in its capital city of Jerusalem and Israel must do this now because it is undermining the peace process in the Middle East. Israel recently announced the building of 1600 new housing units in Jerusalem and world leaders have reacted very harshly to the Israeli announcement and the Quartet wants talks immediately with a Palestinian state within the next two years.

The Quartet also wants all settlement construction stopped even including natural growth and they want Israel to dismantle all buildings that have erected since March of 2001.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

When the Gentile nations of the world start telling the Jewish state of Israel how to live in their capital city of Jerusalem, you can know that the Messiah is about to come back to the earth - that is according to Bible prophecy.

In the Middle East Quartet meeting held in Moscow, Russia, the Gentile world leaders joined together to pressure the Jewish state of Israel to stop all construction in Jerusalem and across Judea and Samaria. The Quartet, made up of the United States, the European Union, United Nations and Russia, believe that they know how to bring peace to the Middle East and it is to pressure Israel to make concessions that could lead to the end of a Jewish state.

From my vantage point, I find it difficult to see how world leaders can dictate how the Jewish people may live in their own ancient homeland to which they have returned. It is especially hard to understand how any world leaders can tell the Jewish state how to live in their own capital city. I say it is hard and then I recall the words of Jesus Christ, the words that He said to Jewish people some 2000 years ago during His Olivet Discourse. This profound prophecy conference where the speaker was Jesus Christ, the master teacher and prophet, told those attending that the city of Jerusalem would be trodden down of the Gentiles until the Times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. That statement made by Jesus found in Luke 21:24. The Times of the Gentiles are the times in history when Gentile world leaders dictate what the Jews do in Jerusalem. This time in history surely qualifies for this prophetic statement.

The Quartet telling Israel, the Jews, how and what they can do in Jerusalem is indeed Bible prophecy being fulfilled.

Iraq is becoming the new destination for adventurist tourists

Iraq's rich history, its unique culture, amazing archaeology, and the intrigue of Saddam Hussein, has made Iraq the ideal location for a vacation destination for a growing number of daring tourists. Official figures on the exact number of visitors is lacking but the evidence is that interest in Iraq's historical and Biblical sites in continually increasing and discussions on the internet seem to confirm this report.

Biblical sites like Ninevah, Ur of the Chaldees, Babylon, and as some suggest, even the Garden of Eden can be visited in this war torn nation that believes an increase in tourism will help their recovery.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The possibility that the war torn nation of Iraq could be the tourism center of the Middle East does not fit with the prophetic scenario for this region in the last days according to Bible prophecy.

There indeed is great interest by adventurist tourists to visit the Biblical sites found in modern-day Iraq, sites like Ur of the Chaldees, Ninevah, Babylon, and as some suggest, even the site of the Garden of Eden. The Iraqi tourism board is working on a plan to attract tourists from around the world to their nation that is rebuilding and hoping that the financial gain from tourism will enhance the rebuilding efforts. My point is, however, that a major tourism campaign does not fit with the end times prophetic scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy. Bible prophecy, written over the last 2500 years by ancient Jewish prophets, reveals to all students of the prophetic Word of God that Iraq will be a major center - not a tourism center - but an economic, political, governmental power base in the last 3 1/2 years of the 7 year period of intense judgment on the Earth and Earth dwellers.

Revelation 18 foretells that Babylon, today's Iraq, will be this world headquarters for the world dictator, the Antichrist, who will control the global economic system to be implemented. A global economic crisis will be the precursor to this scenario (Revelation 13:16-17). Isaiah 13 - 14, Jeremiah 50 - 51, along with Revelation 16 reveals the total destruction of Babylon, modern-day Iraq, at the end of the 7 year judgment just before Jesus Christ returns to Earth.

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The EU Foreign Policy Chief is in the Middle East and putting pressure on Israel to make concessions to their enemies

The Baroness Cathryn Ashton, the EU Foreign Policy Chief, is in the Middle East for her first visit to the region as the leader of the foreign policy decisions of the EU and she is not shying away from putting pressure on Israel to make concessions to some of their neighboring states, some of which are long time enemies.

While in Damascus, Syria, the EU leader said that indirect talks between Syria and Israel must take place in order to bring about a comprehensive peace in the Middle East, supposedly meaning that the Arab world and Israel would be able to coexist in the region.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The foreign policy chief of the EU applying pressure on Israel to make concessions to her enemies in order to achieve peace in the Middle East is a precursor end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

The Israeli government has been pressured by the US for the announcement of the 1600 new housing units in Jerusalem and told to back off that plan, and now the EU is joining the US in putting pressure on Israel. Cathryn Ashton, the newly elected Foreign Policy Chief of the EU, during her Middle East diplomatic trip, has joined the course of world leaders wanting to pressure Israel to not build in its own capital city.

I mentioned earlier that the European pressure on Israel is a precursor to the last days scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy. Let me explain. In Daniel 7:7-24 we see the prophecy plan laid out for the revived Roman Empire to come into place, that is the ten horns mentioned in this passage.  If the European Union is not the fulfillment of this prophecy, it is for sure, the infrastructure for the revived Roman Empire.  The Revived Roman Empire will be lead by a powerful world leader, the little horn of Daniel 7:7-24. And he will bring peace to the Middle Eastern region. Daniel 9:27 says that he will be successful in bringing peace to the middle East.

Pressure on Israel to make concessions for a peace agreement will only intensify in the days ahead because Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Religious Jews in Jerusalem mark the first annual international Temple Mount Awareness Day

A number of Jewish organizations have come together to mark the first annual international Temple Mount Awareness Day calling for Jews, Gentiles, and Christians to ascend to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in a show of solidarity with the Jewish people and their most sacred holy site, the Temple Mount.

The Israeli police have stopped anyone who is not a Moslem from entering the Temple Mount declaring the site off limits and citing that Arab threats to commit violence as a response and to attack anyone desiring to enter the Temple Mount and to mark this holy day of the Jewish people.

Many Moslem leaders have claimed that the Jews want to go onto the Temple Mount to begin reconstruction of the Jewish Temple and these Moslem leaders called for thousands of Moslems to come to the Temple Mount to stop any efforts of restoration of a Jewish Temple on this site.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Thousands of Jews and Moslems gathering at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in protest is evidence that the end of times scenario for this sacred spot, according to Bible prophecy, is very near to fulfillment.

On the very first international Temple Mount Awareness Day, thousands of Jews and Moslems demonstrated against the other to stop certain activities on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. This entire report is evidence that God's Word, the Bible, is right on target as it relates to the future for the Temple Mount.

The ancient Jewish prophet, Zechariah, reveals that the Messiah, Jesus Christ, will return to build His Temple on the Temple Mount, Zechariah 1:16 and 6:12. Ezekiel, another Jewish prophet, gives us all the details surrounding the rebuilding of the Messiah's Temple and these details are found in Ezekiel 40-46. The prophet Samuel recorded the Davidic Covenant, God's promise to Israel's King David of a Temple in Jerusalem forever and Jesus on His throne in that Temple, II Samuel 7. I must remind you that the prophet Zechariah also foretold of the controversy surrounding the Temple Mount in Jerusalem just before Messiah comes back to Jerusalem to build His Temple, Zechariah 12:2-3.

Jewish and Moslem demonstrations at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The chief rabbi of Israel has started a campaign against abortion because it is delaying the redemption of the Jewish people

In a letter released by the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Yona Metzger, the rabbi calls for all rabbis in Israel to strengthen their work in the anti-abortion campaign and wants each of the rabbis to take steps to reduce the number of abortions each year in the Jewish state.

Rabbi Metzger also said that abortions among Jewish people actually delay the redemption of the Jewish people and the chief rabbi called on every rabbi in Israel to devote their sermons to emphasize the severe Halakuk Jewish Law that prohibits a Jewish woman from having an abortion.

Rabbi Metzger wants all Jews to remember the story of Moses as found in the first several chapters of Exodus and how this great Jewish leader himself escaped the horrific act of abortion.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The campaign in Israel against abortion led by Israel's chief rabbi is indeed a campaign that will hasten the redemption of the Jewish people that is according to Bible prophecy.

Israel's Chief Rabbi Yona Metzger has called for the rabbinical leadership of the Jewish state to stand up and fight against abortion in the state of Israel. The chief rabbi reminded all of those who would listen that the great Jewish leader Moses escaped the horrific death by abortion even as the King of Egypt 3500 years ago had called for all male Jewish babies to be killed.

The first chapter of Exodus reveals the record of the Hebrew midwives who refused to obey the king's command and because they feared God, Moses was born as the great Jewish prophet. Another Jewish prophet, Jeremiah, was chosen before his birth or even his conception, in fact chosen by God in eternity past to be a prophet to the nations, Jeremiah 1:5, indicating that life begins in the mind of God.

Murder of an innocent baby, which according to the Bible is a person, even while in the womb of the mother, the murder of this person is blasphemy against God as any murder might be according to Biblical law. Ezekiel wrote that in the last days, the Jewish people would return to the land of their forefathers and they would be the people of God and He would be their God, Ezekiel 36-37.

This is Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

A Russian Middle East expert says there will be no peace in the Middle East in the next decade or longer

A Russian expert on the Middle East at the Institute of Strategic Studies says that the Middle East peace process is unlikely to produce any tangible results in the next decade or two, meaning that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is highly unlikely to be settled either by 2020 or 2030.

Serge Demidenko says that there must be a solution for three vital issues before there can be resolution to the conflict. Those issues are the status of Jerusalem, the refugee problem, and the Israeli settlement construction. Demidenko says that the current political situation on both sides does not allow the ability to bring the sides to the negotiating table.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Russians are correct if they mean there will be no true peace in the Middle East in the near future. But according to Bible prophecy a pseudo, short-lived peace could be in place in the very near future.

As has been the case for numbers of years in the Middle East, there are world leaders working to bring a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and bring peace to this war-torn region. Now a Russian expert on the Middle East says there will be no peace in the foreseeable future, most likely not in the next two decades.

If we look at the history of the peacemaking process, the Russians are most likely correct; however, when you look at current events in light of Biblical prophecy, you will realize how close we could be to peace in the Middle East; howbeit, a pseudo, short-lived peace.

The ancient Jewish prophet Daniel, wrote that there would come out of the Revived Roman Empire, a world leader that will confirm a peace agreement in the Middle East, Daniel 7:7-24 and Daniel 9:27.

The recent ratification of the European Union treaty and the election of the two main leaders for the European Union has put in place all that is needed to revive the old Roman Empire. The leader of that powerful political structure will be the one to confirm, not sign, but to confirm the three peace treaties that Israel has already on the table with their neighbors, Egypt, Jordan and the Palestinians.

Again I must say, the prophecy of Daniel 9:27 will be fulfilled.

An Israeli cabinet member tells the US, Israel will continue to build in Jerusalem

Even as US Vice President Joe Biden was visiting in Israel to help in the Middle East peace process, the Israeli government announced that they would build 1600 new housing units in the Eastern section of Jerusalem, an announcement that irritated not only the vice president but the US as well.

The Israeli Minister of Diaspora Affairs, Yuli Edelstein, said that those who say we frustrated Vice President Biden by announcing building in Jerusalem do not understand that Jerusalem belongs to Israel and we plan to continue to build in the capital of the Jewish state.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The ill timed announcement of the construction of 1600 new housing units in Jerusalem may have caused frustration, but it speaks to the issue of the prophetic future for the Jewish city of Jerusalem.

PM Netanyahu did reprimand the Israeli official who announced the coming construction of 1600 new housing units to be built in Jerusalem while the vice president of the US was in Israel, however the PM never denied that this construction would take place and possibly even more housing units will be approved for Jerusalem. The Israeli PM has taken a stand that Jerusalem is the undivided, eternal capital of the Jewish people and the modern day state of Israel. This declaration by PM Netanyahu has frustrated the US administration and has irritated the Arab League and the Palestinian leadership.

However, this statement is in lockstep with Bible prophecy for the future of the city of Jerusalem. Psalm 132:13-14 states that the Lord has chosen Jerusalem to dwell among the Jewish people forever and ever. The ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah reveals that Jesus Christ is aggressively possessive of Jerusalem, He is sore displeased with those who try to change His plan for the city, and that He will return one day to Jerusalem to build His Temple there. Zechariah also told us in his prophecy that until Jesus Christ does come back to Jerusalem, the city will be the center of controversy, Zechariah 12:2-3.

As I mentioned, the Israeli announcement of new construction in Jerusalem during the visit by the US vice president may not have been wise politically, but prophetically it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The Jews have erected a temple in Jerusalem but it is not located on the Temple Mount

On a rooftop in the Jewish Quarter on the Old City of Jerusalem and overlooking the Temple Mount is a newly constructed temple model weighing over one ton and this temple model is for the purpose of teaching the Jewish people their Biblical heritage as well as introducing to all non-Jews a worship center that will one day stand on the Temple Mount. This model, build on a scale of 1 to 60, is made of gold, silver, wood, and Jerusalem stone, and has a hydraulic system that raises the sanctuary section of the temple model exposing the Holy of Holies and the Ark of the Covenant.

A Jewish yeshiva, which is a place of learning, constructed this temple model for the purpose of training those who will one day work in the real temple to be built on the Temple Mount but will also inform the world of what one day will be reality in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount.

Jimmy's Prophetic prospective on the News

A model of the temple in Jerusalem overlooking the Temple Mount is a foretaste of things to come - according to Bible prophecy.

The religious Jews at the yeshiva, which is a Jewish learning center, located in Jerusalem have constructed a model of the temple that one day will stand less than one mile away on the Temple Mount and they believe that this is a step closer to seeing the temple worship restored for the Jewish people. Not only will this temple model be used at this training center to teach those qualified to work at the coming temple but it will also train all Jews to worship as their forefathers did some 2000 years ago. The model is truly a step closer to the renewal of temple sacrifice and temple worship for the Jewish people. It is also a reminder to all of mankind that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

There are many ancient Jewish prophets that speak of a coming temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Davidic Covenant, recorded in II Samuel 7, promises a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Kingdom Temple will be built by the Messiah Jesus Christ (Zechariah 6:12). The description of the Kingdom Temple can be found in Ezekiel 40-46 with 202 verses of detailed information about that temple. Daniel wrote, however, of the next temple to be built in Jerusalem (Daniel 9:27) and all the preparations have been made for that temple.

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

The UN has made a weak response to the Moslem slaughter of Christians

The Secretary General of the UN, Ban Ki Moon, expressed sorrow, but gave a very restrained response to the news that a Moslem Nigerian mob brutally slaughtered hundreds of Christians with axes, knives and machetes as the Christians tried to escape their small villages in Central Nigeria.

Reports of the number of dead ranges from nearly 400 to over 500 in this center setting of Nigeria, Africa's most populous nation with over 150 million people in a nation that is equally split between the mostly Moslem North and the chiefly Christian South. This Moslem slaughter of Christians may have been the result of the struggle for control of the fertile, agricultural areas in the center section of Nigeria.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Moslem slaughter of Christians in Nigeria is a precursor to the last days scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

For decades there have been reports of the mass slaughter of Christians around the world and almost no real media coverage has kept this horrific story, as they say in the media, "under wraps". Darfur has been the scene of hundreds of thousands of Christians being killed for no other reason than that they were Christians. The continent of Africa has been the hotbed of this dastardly crime on humanity. This latest report of the Moslem slaughter of hundreds of Christians in Nigeria again has had little media coverage and no real uproar from the world leaders about this terrible slaughter.

I made the statement earlier that this murderous act was a precursor to prophetic events in the future. In Revelation 6:9, the prophet John who prewrote history, told of believers in Jesus Christ during the seven year judgment period in the future, the Tribulation, at a time when believers will be martyred for their belief in Jesus Christ and for their testimony for Jesus. Millions of believers will be beheaded and slaughtered because of the forces of evil, Satanic forces wanting to rid the world of followers of Jesus Christ.

This Moslem slaughter of Nigerian Christians that took place recently is indeed a precursor to Bible prophecy being fulfilled.

A Dutch political leader says that liberal politicians are facilitating the spread of Islamic holy war

The Dutch political leader, Geert Wilders, addressing the British House of Lords told them that liberal political leaders are facilitating the spread of Islamic jihad, Islamic holy war, because they consider Islam as being equal to the culture of the West. Wilders believes that Islam is not compatible with the Western way of life and is a threat to the West - Islam and freedom, Islam and democracy are not compatible - Islam wants to dominate all aspects of life from the cradle to the grave.

Wilders has a film that warns the world of Islam's desire to set up a caliphate, a worldwide kingdom under Islam and holy war as the means to that end.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The spread of radical Islam with the help of liberal politicians is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Today one in every four people on the earth are of the Islamic faith and that number is increasing daily. There are several voices in our world that are shouting out a warning to humankind to be alert to the global designs of Islam. One such voice is that of the Dutch politician Geert Wilders who with his documentary film and lectures around the world, is warning the world that there may be moderate Moslems, the people of Islam, but there is no moderate Islam, the religion. Wilders says that the Islamic holy book, the Koran, calls for a worldwide kingdom under the god of Islam, Allah, and Islamic jihad, holy war, as the means to reaching that goal.

Bible prophecy itself calls for a worldwide kingdom under Jesus Christ, the holy One of the Holy Bible. In fact, God made a promise to King David many years ago that that would happen. It is called the Davidic Covenant recorded in II Samuel 7. The Bible says that there will be a kingdom headquartered in Jerusalem (Zechariah 6:12-13) and it will last for 1000 years (Revelation 20:4-6). The Bible actually contradicts the Koran. The Koran says that the Islamic god Allah had no son. The Bible says that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the coming King of the worldwide kingdom.

The liberal politicians helping the spread of Islam is indeed helping to set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The world watches as this war torn nation of Iraq holds national elections

Up to as many as 19 million Iraqi citizens will have voted when the national elections have been completed and may well determine the direction of Iraq as it endeavors to rebuild after the many years of wars across this Arab nation who wants to be free of any dictator and to build a democratic nation in the midst of the Islamic world. There are reports of how terrorist attacks at polling places and threats to potential Iraqi voters kept them from exercising the freedom to vote for the leadership and the direction of the future Iraqi society and government.

Meanwhile, the Shiites, who make up about 60% of the total body politic of Iraq, held prayer meetings which turned into election rallies in order to make sure that they maintained their strong Moslem influence in the next Iraqi government and the way of the future for their nation.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The Iraqi people voting in their national elections may have influenced their present situation but their future has already been determined that is according to Bible prophecy.

The world has watched as the Iraqi people held their elections to elect the leaders to govern today and to rebuild their war torn nation. Religion has played and will play a key role in the future of Iraq as it has each election including this one as well. The nation of Iraq is divided into three parts: the Kurds in the oil-rich north, the Shiites in the south, and the Sunni element of Islam in the center part of the state. These three elements of the body politic of Iraq must come together for Iraq to have a stable future today and tomorrow.

However, Bible prophecy is basically a prewritten history of what will happen in this region of the world. The nation of Iraq is the modern-day name for Biblical Babylon and the Bible says much about this geographical location. Revelation 18 reveals that Iraq, Biblical Babylon, will come to power as the economic capitol of the world under the leadership of the Antichrist the soon coming world dictator. This leadership comes to an end in 3 1/2 years and Babylon, modern-day Iraq, is destroyed (Isaiah 13-14, Jeremiah 50-51, and Revelation 16:17 and following).

The Iraqi elections only set the stage for what will happen according to Bible prophecy that will be fulfilled.

The foreign minister of Saudi Arabia, considered to be the most conservative Moslem state, says that Israel is becoming an extremely religious state

Prince Saud al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia a country considered one of the most conservative Moslem states, believes that his country is moving in the direction of a liberal society while Israel is moving into a more religiously oriented culture. The Saudi foreign minister said that his country is breaking away from the shackles of the past and what is happening in Israel is the opposite. The Jewish state has a more religiously determined politics and moving to a very extreme sense of nationhood which is coming to a boiling point.

The prince links the alleged religious radicalization in Israel with the difficulty to strike a peace agreement with the Palestinians and the Arab countries blaming the religious institutions in Israel for this hindrance to Middle East peace.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The statement from a leader of Saudi Arabia that Israel is becoming an extremely dangerous religious state is not only ironic but it has a prophetic significance as well according to Bible prophecy.

The ironic part of the statement by the Saudi Prince Faisal, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, is that his country is the birthplace of the Moslem religion and the most extreme element of Islam is the Wahhabi branch of Islam, the main component in the Moslem community in Saudi Arabia. Prince Saud al Faisal's statement that religion is becoming more a part of the body politic of Israel is pretty much on track. The orthodox Jews that make up about 30% of the population of the Jewish state have decided to become active in politics so that they can retain the land in Judea and Samaria that the Lord promised to them and then gave to them.

Meanwhile, the Moslem world is becoming more convinced that the Jewish state should not be in this world and Saudi Arabia, referred to as the Ishmaelites in Psalm 83:6 are part and parcel of the nations that will try to destroy Israel that her name be forgotten forever (Psalm 83:4). The Jewish state will become very religious when the Messiah Jesus Christ comes and the Jews become His people and He their God (Jeremiah 31:33). Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

There is another financial crisis on the way that will be worse than the present one

A new report released by a group of leading economists, financiers, and former federal regulators says that even as the world struggles to recover from the present global economic crisis, there is another one coming that will be worse than the current one, the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression.

This doomsday economic report says that without enforced reforms, another crisis is inevitable and the report calls for putting in place regulatory reforms before we move into the next financial crisis. Economists say the world is remarkably close to another Great Depression and the threat of the Doomsday cycle remains strong and growing. In fact, it is nearing the stage that would lead to a catastrophic, global financial collapse.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The threat of a global economic collapse that could happen very soon is a precursor to the end times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

National governments around our world are working daily to bring this present financial crisis under control with reports of recovery coming from some financial centers. Now, there is the threat of another global economic crisis that will be worse than the present one and it could cause a total economic collapse around the world. From every corner, we are hearing from economists and governmental economic regulators that the world leaders need to put in place an economic structure that will prevent another financial crisis and global economic collapse.

This scenario of another financial crisis worse than the present one is indeed a precursor to the Biblical scenario for the last days that can be found in Bible prophecy. Revelation 18 reveals that in the time just before Jesus Christ returns to the earth, there will be a world economic center in Babylon, modern day Iraq, that will control the financial dealings of the world. Revelation 13:16-17 tells the student of Bible prophecy that during these last days, the years leading up to the Lord's return, those who want to buy or sell, even for daily necessities, must have an identification mark on their forehead or the back of their hand which will be part of this global economic structure.

The report of another financial crisis coming worse than the present one is indeed a precursor to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

Pope Benedict calls for a stronger UN to tackle major global problems

Pope Benedict in an encyclical letter, the highest form of Papal teaching, called for a stronger UN to tackle the major global problems, mainly the economic crisis, the wars and rumors of wars and the social injustice that is taking place across the world.

Benedict said the blind pursuit of profit and economic mismanagement had wreaked havoc on the global economy and there must be a worldwide financial structure put in place to resolve this complex problem.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

A worldwide religious leader calling for a stronger global political power to ensure economic security and world peace is a page out of Bible prophecy.

In the latest teaching from the Vatican in Rome and given by Pope Benedict, the Pope has called for reform of the UN to give this global political institution some teeth with which to tackle the major problems facing our world.

As the Pope has indicated, this world has a global financial crisis that must be dealt with. Pope Benedict says a worldwide political power must step up to bring peace and stability out of the conflict and chaos.

The ancient Jewish prophets wrote of the Last Days and basically wrote of the world we see today unfolding with all of these major problems. Jesus Christ Himself said there would be wars and rumors of wars in the Last Days, Matthew 24:6-7. John, the Apostle who wrote the book of Revelation, in chapter 6:1-8 lays out the scenario for the Last Days that calls for a powerful world leader to deal with the war, the food shortages, financial disaster and even global health problems.

Another of the ancient Jewish prophets, Daniel in chapter 9:27 reveals the appearance of this world leader, a religious leader who will bring peace and supposedly stability to the world. His name is Antichrist. The world today is ready for such a leader and he could appear at any moment.

Pope Benedict's call for this global political power is indeed a page out of Bible prophecy.

A new Jewish interfaith organization says that the Jewish temple can be built on Jerusalem's Temple Mount without the destruction of the Islamic Dome

Recently, a new Jewish interfaith group launched a project to diffuse religious strife by showing that the end of times vision of the Jewish people, a temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, could be fulfilled without destroying the Islamic Dome of the Rock. Yacov Frankel, director of the initiative, believes that the Jewish temple can be built alongside the Dome of the Rock and this would transform the Temple Mount from a place of contention to a place of worship shared by Jews, Moslems, and Christians.

Islamic cleric Sheik Abdulla Darwish says that as long as there is one Moslem alive, there will be no Jewish temple and the Jewish activist Baruch Ben-Yosef, made it clear that the Temple must be built where the Dome of the Rock now stands.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The continuing debate between Moslems and Jews about what has the right to occupy the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the Dome of the Rock or a Jewish Temple, is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

3000 years ago the Jewish King Solomon built the first Jewish temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. A second Jewish temple was also erected there after the Babylonian captivity and Jews returned to Jerusalem some 2500 years ago.

The destruction of the city of Jerusalem and the Jewish temple by the Romans in 70AD left the Temple Mount empty of a Jewish worship center. The Moslems, in 691AD, built the Dome of the Rock on the site where the two Jewish temples had once stood. For the last 2000 years, Jews have prayed daily for the temple to be rebuilt on the exact spot where the first two temples stood and where the Islamic building now stands. A growing number of religious Jews are preparing to erect the third temple on the Temple Mount and they believe that the Dome of the Rock must come down.

Many ancient Jewish prophets wrote of the temple being rebuilt in the last days - Daniel, (Daniel 9:27) Ezekiel, (Ezekiel 40-46) Zechariah, (Zechariah 1:16,6:12-13) and even the Apostle John (Revelation 11:1-2).

Any suggestion of building the Jewish temple alongside the Islamic Dome of the Rock contradicts prophecy.

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
