Al Qaeda is calling for Moslems to attack Jerusalem

In a recently released recording posted on a terrorist internet website, the number 2 man in Al Qaeda, the Islamic terrorist organization, the deputy Al Qaeda leader al-Zawahiri issued a new call for an attack on Israel. Osama bin Laden's deputy urged the Al Qaeda - Iraqi followers to sneak across borders, make their way to Israel, and then liberate Jerusalem giving the city to the Palestinian people as the capital of their state called Palestine which, actually, is a similar call that was made by the late Saddam Hussein.

The Egyptian-born terrorist criticized Egypt's President Mubarak for applying pressure on Hamas to recognize the state of Israel and al-Zawahiri called on the Palestinians to attack Israelis and their allies outside of the country saying that the enemies of Islam, the crusaders, and the Jews are everywhere.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The call by Al Qaeda to liberate Jerusalem is a scenario that is found in Bible prophecy for the last days.

In the news story of this prophetic prospective, I mentioned the late Saddam Hussein who also had called for the liberation of Jerusalem. Saddam had formed a 7 million man army to go to Jerusalem to liberate the city and give it to the Palestinian people as the capital of their state called Palestine. Now, the major terrorist force in Iraq, Al Qaeda, has been urged to cross borders into Israel, go to Jerusalem, and liberate the city for Moslem purposes.

This is almost word for word from the pages of Bible prophecy for the end times. The ancient Jewish prophet Joel wrote that in the last days there will be a mighty militia formed - in fact, the largest army ever formed on the Earth and they will go to Jerusalem and liberate the holy city (Joel 2:2-3). This mighty Moslem military force will want to establish Jerusalem as the headquarters for the worldwide caliphate, an Islamic kingdom. However, the God of the Jews - the God of the Bible has different plans for Jerusalem. He will dwell among His people, the Jewish people, forever (Psalm 132:13-14) and He will dwell in a temple in Jerusalem that He will build and rule and reign from (Zechariah 6:12-13). Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
