Israel is set to Celebrate the Balfour Declaration, the beginning of the Redemption of the Jewish People

Listen to Today's Program Play

JD: Next year, in 2017, it’ll be the 100th Anniversary of the Balfour Declarations, so first of all what is the Balfour Declaration?

WM: The Balfour Declaration was actually a letter which Lord Balfour passed on to a member of the Rothchild family that his majesty's government views with favor the establishment of the Jewish homeland in Palestine. One of the war aims was that the area of Palestine, where in which was the Jewish national home. At the end of the war one of the war aims would be to give Jews their homeland back after 1800 years of exile and non-political power, that’s what the Balfour Declaration was.

JD: In addition to that though, however, it also came at the defeat of the Ottoman Empire, the Turkish Empire, by a man who was the leader of the military for the United Kingdom in the Middle East, General Allenby, who won a major battle there in the Jezreel Valley in 1917. And was able to come in and receive the surrender from the Turkish Empire and gave this opportunity to Great Britain to do that which is in essence, I believe as it relates to history, the beginning of the redemption for the Jewish people and this Balfour Declaration played a key role in that, did it not?

WM: It definitely did because from the Balfour Declaration of 1917 you go to July 1922 when the League of Nations, which was essentially the United Nations of that period, passed the resolution. I think it was about 55 nations against nill, granting Great Britain a mandate to fulfill the Balfour Declaration in practice we reserve the small sliver of land know as Palestine for the Jews because it’s their historic homeland.

JD: Winkie Medad, my broadcast partner, helping to explain the Balfour Declaration.

We report this information because it is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

God has used two world wars in the past to accomplish his plan for the Jewish people.

As per my report from Winkie Medad on the Balfour Declaration, God used World War I to prepare a land for the Jewish people. It is very evident that the Lord also used World War II to prepare a people for that land; he used Adolf Hitler the Nazi's and the Holocaust.

God will in the future use human leaders and world events to set the stage for the fulfillment of Bible prophecy, that’s found in Revelation 17:17. God’s prophetic scenario for the Jewish people will indeed be fulfilled.
