Israel's president tells United Nations delegates that Iran's president is a living declaration against the UN charter

In a recent appearance at the United Nations Israel's President, Shimon Peres, addressing the UN delegates, said that Iran's President Ahmadinejad is a living declaration against the charter of the United Nations as he referenced the provision of the United Nations charter that states a member state cannot threaten another state with total destruction. Peres told the delegates that Ahmadinajad continues to call for the destruction of the state of Israel and at the same time, also supplies military arms to every terrorist organization in the Middle East.

The Israeli president said that he was speaking on behalf of a small group of people in a tiny land, a people that exist despite the murder of one third of the world's Jewish population in the holocaust and seven attacks on Israel in the state's 62 year history.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

There is an ironic twist in the fact that a world leader can call for the total destruction of the state of Israel and at the same time be allowed to address the United Nations whose charter forbids such activity especially in light of the end of times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

Many world leaders have questioned the appearance of President Ahmadinejad of Iran on the platform of the United Nations in light of his radical rhetoric that continues to call for the total destruction of the Jewish state of Israel. In a recent appearance on that same United Nations platform Israeli President Shimon Peres reminded the United Nations delegates that there is enough room for every person, every nations, and every religion in the Middle East.

Peres said that Israel will continue to exist in the Middle East even though Iran's president calls for its total destruction, a statement which has been confirmed by the ancient Jewish prophets. Jeremiah said that as long as the sun, the moon, and the stars are in the heavens, the seed of Israel will not cease from being a nation (Jeremiah 31:35-36). Ironically, another Jewish prophet named Ezekiel foretold the total destruction of the state of Iran which is referred to as Persia in Ezekiel 38:5. Iran, when they attack Israel, will be one of many nations who try to destroy the Jewish state of Israel (Ezekiel 39:1-6).

On the world stage, known as the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, the last drama in history is making preparations to begin. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
