Libya's leader, Colonel Gaddafi, has strongly criticized US Presidential candidate Barack Obama for saying Jerusalem should remain the undivided capital of Israel and that Obama was either ignorant of the Middle East conflict or lying to boost his campaign.
Gaddafi, referring to Senator Obama as his Kenyan brother, suggested that Mr. Obama's comments on Jerusalem may have been formed by a fear of assassination by Israeli agents. Gaddafi rejects the Israeli belief that Jerusalem is its eternal, undivided capital and sides with the Palestinians who claim that at least a portion of Jerusalem must be the capital for a future Palestinian state.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The radical rhetoric of the Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi that Israeli agents might assassinate US Presidential candidate Barack Obama is the reason Mr. Obama endorsed an undivided Jerusalem is blatant evidence that Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.
The US Presidential candidate, Senator Barack Obama, while addressing APAC, the US lobbying organization for Israel, did actually state his endorsement for an undivided Jerusalem. This foreign policy statement by Mr. Obama angered the Arab and Moslem world and especially the Palestinian leaders who say there can be no peace in the Middle East without a Palestinian state and Jerusalem as its capital.
The ancient Jewish prophet Zechariah said 2,500 years ago that in the Last Days the city of Jerusalem would be a center of controversy, Zechariah 12:2-3. Zechariah says that Jerusalem will be like a cup of trembling, a phrase meaning that the contents of the cup are intoxicating. Zechariah 12:3 says Jerusalem will be a burdensome stone, referring to a heavy weight, one too heavy to carry. Barack Obama is experiencing the weight of Jerusalem as he receives the response from the Arab-Moslem world over his endorsement for an undivided Jerusalem.
Indeed Bible prophecy is being and will be fulfilled.
