US soldiers withdrawing from Iraq after eight years created a vacuum that is being filled by the Iranian terror organizations that for years have played a key role in the insurgency that has plagued this war torn nation in the Middle East.
The major source of terrorism is the international organization known as Al-Qaeda. Though political leaders say Al-Qaeda is on its last legs, military leaders on the ground in Iraq say that the resurgence of Al-Qaeda in Iraq will be the major threat to the rebuilding of this very important Middle Eastern nation.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The withdrawal of US soldiers from war torn Iraq has set the stage for an end of times scenario written by the ancient Jewish prophets thousands of years ago.
US military generals on the ground in Iraq warned before the fact that withdrawing US soldiers from Iraq before they have a stable government in place could be a disaster. Al-Qaeda in Mesopotamia, the Iraqi franchise for the International Al-Qaeda terror group, is on a daily basis becoming more and more the major element in the hindering of the rebuilding of the nation of Iraq.
This scenario is exactly what Bible prophecy calls for as written by the ancient Jewish prophets who call for Iraq, Biblical Babylon, to be controlled by a world dictator who will setup his global, economic headquarters on the shores of the Euphrates River at ancient Babylon. The prophet John in Revelation 18 reveals this as the plan for the Antichrist. Jeremiah and Isaiah both wrote of the final destruction of Babylon that will take place after Revelation 18 is fulfilled, Isaiah 13-14 and Jeremiah 50-51.
John, the writer of Revelation, wrote that Babylon, modern day Iraq, will be destroyed in one hour by a great earthquake, the greatest to ever hit the earth, Revelation 18:10, 17, 19 and Revelation 16:7-23.
As we watch the Middle East and in particular Iraq, make certain that you know Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
