The mayor of the little town of Bethlehem says that his little village is ready for Christmas and the hotels are fully booked by the thousands of Christian pilgrims that will make their way to the birthplace of Jesus Christ who also visited this little town some 2000 years ago. Mayor Victor Batarseh says Bethlehem has dressed up to mark this historic occasion with choirs all over the world filing into Manger Square with the annual musical celebration and the midnight mass that will be telecast around the world at midnight this Christmas Eve.
There will be tight security for the Christian pilgrims who will visit Bethlehem, thousands coming from all over the world to celebrate the birth of their Messiah Jesus Christ and as they gather in Manger Square there will be joining with other Christians around the world to pray for peace in the Middle East and worldwide at this Christmas time.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The Christmas celebration in the little town of Bethlehem is evidence that Bible prophecy has been fulfilled and will be fulfilled in the future.
With the hustle and bustle of getting ready for Christmas, buying the gifts, the family coming to visit, and of course the big Christmas dinner, often we forget about the real reason for the season. The town fathers in the little town of Bethlehem, both Christians and Moslems, will be very busy on this Christmas Eve as the world watches on a special satellite telecast from Manger Square and the Church of the Nativity. They will watch the festive celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
The Bible reveals, in 300 prophecies, the first coming of Jesus Christ which were all fulfilled in absolute detail by the One who claimed to be the Son of God. The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ did prove that the babe born in Bethlehem was who He said He was and will do what He said He will do. He will come back to Earth again.
Our world today seems to be ready to fulfill all of the prophecies of His Second Coming and it could be today that Jesus Christ calls us to be with Him at the Rapture of the Church.
At Christmas time we look back to the birth of Jesus Christ but we must look forward to His coming. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
