Rosh Hashanah, the first of the Fall Jewish Feast days, is the New Year for the Jewish people and it marks the creation of man, 5,769 years ago which on the Jewish calendar is 5769.
Rosh Hashanah is the first of the Fall Jewish Feast Days that will be marked by the almost 13 million Jews from around the world as they follow the command of God to observe all seven of the Jewish holy days once a year, a practice that has been taking place for 3,500 years. The two other holy days for the Jewish people are all within a two week period and include the very solemn day of fasting, Yom Kippur and the very joyous seven day Feast of Tabernacles, the time when the Jews remember the forty years of wandering in the wilderness.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
As Jewish people around the world celebrate Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, the prophetic significance of the feast day reminds those of us who are students of Bible prophecy of the Second Coming of Christ according to Bible prophecy.
Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year, the year 5769 and this Fall Jewish feast day also marks the day Jews believe God created Adam and Eve. This Fall feast day is one of three days that is annually observed by the entire Jewish world. It is interesting how Jesus Christ had a relationship with the four Spring feasts and will have a connection to the three Fall Jewish feast days as well.
Two thousand years ago, on Passover, Jesus Christ was crucified, he was buried on Unleavened bread and rose from the dead on FirstFruits. As Jesus Christ fulfilled the prophetic significance for the Spring feasts, so He will also fulfill the three Fall Jewish feast days. Jesus Christ will come back to earth on Rosh Hashanah, enter the holy of holies of the Temple in Jerusaelm on Yom Kippur and the 1,000 year Kingdom will begin on the Feast of Tabernacles.
Jesus Christ could indeed fulfill these three Fall Jewish feast days in the near future. Let me say to you, "Shanah Tovah", Happy New Year!

Olmert: Israel must give up the Golan, Judea, Samaria, and Temple Mount
In a farewell interview, the outgoing Prime Minister of Israel, Ehud Olmert, said that in order for Israel to have peace with the Palestinians, the Jewish state must give up the Old City of Jerusalem and its biblical heartland. This heartland is Judea and Samaria, often referred to as the West Bank, and the Old City includes the Temple Mount.
The "lame duck" PM also said that in order to make peace with Syria, the Israeli government must give up the Golan Heights. Many military say that the Golan is essential for keeping the peace and protecting the Jewish resident of northern Israel.
Opposition political leaders in Israel say that Olmert's plan would allow for the establishment of Iranian and Hamas bases in the Golan Heights and the area of Judea and Samaria - the heart of the Jewish state.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
For the Prime Minister of Israel to offer to give up the Golan Heights, Judea, Samaria, and the Temple Mount in Jerusalem in order to make peace with the Syrians and the Palestinians is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
The outgoing Prime Minister of Israel, Ehud Olmert, says that in order to make peace with two of its worst enemies the Jewish state must give up its heartland Judea and Samaria, and the Golan Heights, strategic to security in northern Israel. This offer made by PM Olmert contradicts the Bible and the promised that God made to the Jewish people.
The Abrahamic Covenant, the Land Covenant, and the Davidic Covenant - God's promises to the Jewish people - all state that Israel will be given the land of their forefathers and this land will belong to the Jewish people forever.
Ezekiel 34 reveals 18 times that God will bring the Jews into their land in the Last Days. Ezekiel 36, some 35 times, says that the land will belong to the Jewish people. Ezekiel 36:22 states that God does this for His holy name's sake. Ezekiel 35 says that the Edomites, the Palestinians of today, will kill the Jews and endeavor to take the land.

The Wall Street meltdown could lead to another Holocaust
Israeli leaders say the present economic crisis in the US, which is affecting the world economic system, could be setting the stage for another Jewish Holocaust since the Wall Street meltdown has thrown the future of the American economy into uncertainty.
Quoting the late Jewish activist Rabbi Meir Kahane who said, "In bad times, Jew haters hate Jews loudly and when times are economically terrible, they hate Jews violently", these Israeli officials said this current economic crisis is a template for a Holocaust. One official stated that people think a Holocaust starts with concentration camps, but the truth is a Holocaust starts when the people perceive this economic crisis is the result of the Jewish leadership in the global financial markets.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
Whether the present economic crisis in the US and across the world will result in another Jewish Holocaust or not, there will be a major Holocaust in the future according to Bible prophecy.
There are concerns in the Jewish world for the possible rise in the Antisemitic violence because of the present global economic crisis and many believe that the crisis could be a springboard to another Holocaust. If history teaches us anything, we can learn from the WWII Holocaust that the leader, Adolf Hitler, killed six million Jews and used the terrible financial times of the Great Depression as a motivation to eliminate the Jewish people.
As a student of Bible prophecy, I cannot state that the present economic crisis will result in another Holocaust, but I can state that the global economy will be a major player in the End Times and there will indeed be another Holocaust, one much more diabolical than the first. Revelation 18 reveals a worldwide economic power in Babylon that will force all humankind to receive a mark to be able to buy or sell, Revelation 13:12-16. Zechariah 13:8 foretells of a Holocaust that will kill two out of every three Jews in the world during the time of Jacob's Trouble. That is twice as many Jews that were killed in the first Holocaust.
Economic crisis or not, there will be another Holocaust.

The Iranian leadership believes that they are now entering the Apocalyptic Age
Speaking at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, the renown scholar and historian Bernard Lewis told his audience that Iranian President Ahmadinejad and the leadership of Iran believe they are now entering the Apocalyptic Age which will result in the triumph of their messianic figure.
Lewis said that Iran is a mortal threat and reminded those attending his lecture that Islam, like Judaism and Christianity, has an End Times scenario reminding them that holy war is a part of the Islamic religion and part of holy law. Lewis then added that the threat of many Iranians perishing in a war did not deter the Iranian leadership. They believe that death this way would give Iranians a free pass to the Islamic heaven.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The thinking by the Iranian leadership that they are now entering the Apocalyptic Age actually conforms to the End Times scenario that is found in Bible prophecy.
The statement by the renown scholar and historian, Bernard Lewis, that Iranian President Ahmadinejad and Iran's leadership believe they are entering the Apocalyptic Age is evidence that the Islamic world does have an eschatology, a theology that has an End Times scenario. The outdated concepts of M.A.D (Mutually Assured Destruction) prevalent during the Cold War years, are irrelevant when it comes to Iran and its leadership. The Iranian president and his circle see such a scenario as an incentive, not a deterrent.
This apocalyptic desire of the radical Shiite Muslim is at the center of much of what's happening in the Middle East today and does fit into Bible prophecy. The ancient, Jewish, New Testament Prophet John wrote the book entitled, "The Apocalypse", or better known as the book of Revelation which describes the End Time Apocalyptic Age. Revelation 4:2 - 19:10 describes the seven year period of massive judgment on the face of the Earth. Revelation 19 describes the "Mother of all battles", "the Apocalyptic War", the Battle of Armageddon.
Ahmadinejad is correct, we are indeed entering the Apocalyptic Age.

After 30 years of a so-called peace agreement between Israel and Egypt, they have not normalized diplomatic relations
Thirty years after Israel's PM Menachem Bagen and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat signed their historic agreement, the Israeli government is finding it very difficult to find some Israeli to serve as the Jewish state's ambassador to Egypt and likewise, Egypt has run into difficulty with a diplomat to come to Israel.
One major evidence that Israel and Egypt have not normalized their peace treaty is that, in these 30 years, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has not made one official trip as a head of state to Israel.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The fact that Israel and Egypt have not normalized their peace treaty in 30 years is evidence that Bible prophecy is set to be fulfilled.
I will never forget the historic visit by Egyptian President Anwar Sadat to Israel where he addressed the Israeli Knesset which led to the historic signing of the Camp David Accords, the peace treaty between Israel and Egypt. This agreement is now 30 years old, however it has never been normalized. It is not a working agreement between two friendly nations. The fact that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has never officially visited Israel since the signing of the peace treaty speaks volumes to the present situation. The Egyptian-Israeli border is open to arms smuggling and terrorist traffic from the Egyptian side.
This is all evidence that Bible prophecy is near to fulfillment. The Bible speaks about a peace treaty the Antichrist will put in place at the beginning of theTtribulation Period, Daniel 9:27. I want you to notice that the Antichrist will not sign a peace treaty between Israel and her enemies, but instead confirm a peace treaty. The Hebrew word for confirm is "gabbar" and it means to confirm, strengthen or make stronger. It does not mean to sign.
The Camp David Accord is on the table. It is not working. It is waiting for the Antichrist to confirm the treaty and make it work.

A number of nations are calling for an international economic power structure
The UK and Germany believe that a new international system regulating the financial sector of our world must be constructed to prevent a repeat of another global banking crisis in the future and it would be an international authority that will make the traffic rules for financial markets.
Great Britain's financial minister Alister Darling said just as one government cannot combat terrorism, so one government cannot deal with the consequences of globalization. There is now a need for a global system of financial regulation. China has also called for a world order to battle a financial tsunami, a financial order no longer dependent on the US, but one that would create a diversified currency and a financial system that would be a fair and just financial world order.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
A call by Great Britain, Germany and China for a new worldwide financial order, one not dependent on the US, is a page out of Bible prophecy for the Last Days.
The economic crisis that has been created in the US has affected every financial market around the world and has motivated some world leaders to look for an alternative to the US as the foundation of a world economy. With world leaders now looking for a system to fix this global economy, the calls for an international regulator of the global financial markets is similar to a scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.
Revelation 18 is a prophecy of just such an international financial system, a new world financial order that will be in place for the last 3 1/2 years of the seven year Tribulation Period. This one world economic system will be headquartered in Babylon, which is modern day Iraq, also found in Revelation 18. The leader of this economic system will be the Antichrist which rules and reigns from Babylon. This economic system will ultimately be destroyed, Revelation 16:17-20, Isaiah 13, 14 and Jeremiah 50, 51, but that will happen only after Jesus Christ, the Messiah returns to the earth.
The present worldwide financial crisis is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

Olmert Resigned - New Israeli Government Planned
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, who is facing a number of corruption allegations, formally tendered his resignation to President Shimon Peres, making good on a promise to resign as soon as his political party, Kadima, had selected a new leader.
Last week, the Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni barely beat out the Transportation Minister Shaul Mofaz, to take leadership of Kadima. Ms. Livni now has 6 weeks to form a coalition government, which, in turn, would name Livni as Prime Minister. She would be the first female prime minister of Israel since Golda Meir.
Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netayahu, leader of the opposition Likud party, has been calling for Israel to go to early elections, especially in these troublesome times.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
Another change in the leadership of the Israeli government is evidence that God is in charge, and has a prophetic plan that will be played out
The Prime Minister of Israel is the leader of the Jewish state. With the possibility of facing indictment for corruption charges, the current PM, Ehud Olmert, thought it best to step down to deal with his legal problems. This made way for new leadership in his Kadima party and for a new government to be formed in Israel. The question is, will it be more of the same failed leadership of the Olmert government, which was marked with the humiliating lose to Hezbollah in the summer war of 2006.
The Palestinians are pleased with the prospect of Tzipi Livni as Prime Minister since she has been the one negotiating the division of Jerusalem and the evacuation of the Jewish settlements in order to establish a Palestinian state.
As a student of Bible prophecy, one can see these developments as evidence that God is in charge and is using human governments to set the stage for His prophetic scenario to be fulfilled. God establised human government 4500 years ago, (Genesis 9:6). God puts political leaders in place that He wants to be there, (Romans 13:1). God uses human government to bring about His will in the End Times, (Revelation 17:17).

Thousands of Islamists have called for a caliphate, a worldwide Islamic kingdom
Some eighty thousand Islamists recently came together from around the world, meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia to press for the re-establishment of a caliphate. a world-wide kingdom across the Moslem world.
The event was organized by the liberation party which was founded in Jerusalem in the 1950's by a Palestinian religious scholar and experts believe the group ideologically is in concert with the Jihadist, Islamic holy war groups, and they are using peaceful means that are purely tactical.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The call by thousands of Islamists for a world-wide Islamic kingdom today is a precursor for confrontation with the Messiah, Jesus Christ, in a soon-coming tomorrow, that is according to Bible prophecy.
In the last two years Iranian President Ahmadinejad has repeatedly said that we are now living in the apocalyptic age, a time near to the coming of the Islamic Mahdi, the Islamic Messiah.
Now, the Moslem in the street is joining with this Islamic leader to call for revival of the caliphate, a world-wide Islamic kingdom that would be under Sharia Law, the Islamic Law and answer to Allah, the Islamic deity.
In a recent conference held in Jakarta, Indonesia, the largest Moslem gathering in the world of this type, some eighty thousand Moslems and their leaders, called for the caliphate to be re-established.
This scenario that I have just described will bring about a universal confrontation in the future as we draw close to the time when Jesus Christ will come to earth to establish His kingdom, a physical kingdom in our world that will be headquartered in the Middle East from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
The ancient Jewish prophets, especially Daniel and Ezekiel, speak about the Lord's kingdom that will be established and will be in existence forever, that's Daniel 7:13-14. Ezekiel wrote of the temple that will be located in Jerusalem that Jesus will build and as Messiah it will be His seat of authority and He will establish His earthly kingdom, His universal kingdom, from that spot, that's Ezekiel 40-46 with special attention on Ezekiel 43:1-7.
The call by thousands of Moslems for a caliphate, a world-wide Islamic kingdom, is indeed a precursor to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

The construction of the Temple is under way in Jerusalem
A grandiose museum featuring an elaborate massive replica of the Jewish Temple is currently being erected opposite the Western Wall in Jerusalem, a construction project which is valued at nearly 20 million dollars.
The museum will feature a journey through Jewish history from the days of Abraham to the present, emphasizing the message and significance of the Jewish people's presence in the land of Israel. The museum's curator said that this will be an audio/visual experience incorporating smells so that the act of entering the Temple will be done with awe of God.

The construction project to build a replica of the Jewish Temple just opposite the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is a precursor to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
A yeshiva, a Jewish seminary, located in Jerusalem has the funding, 20 million dollars, to replicate the Jewish Temple just off the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and the project is now underway. This Temple replica will give visitors the opportunity to experience what the previous Jewish Temples would have looked like while at the same time be a reminder of the fact that one day there will be a Temple standing on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Visitors to the museum will also learn the history of the Jewish people in the land of Israel, the land which God gave His chosen people, and this will be done with a presentation using the latest in high-tech.
The building of a Temple replica just opposite where the real Temple will one day be built does make vivid the reality of a coming Temple for the Jews in Jerusalem. Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15, II Thessalonians 2:4 and Revelation 11:1 speak of a Temple that will be built during the terrible Tribulation Period, a seven year period of judgment on the Earth in the future. By the way, all the preparations have been made to build this Temple. Ezekiel 40-46 reveals the Messiah's Temple that will be built in Jerusalem, a Temple that Jesus will build when He returns to the Earth.

An intelligence report reveals Moslem Antisemitism is a strategic threat to Israel
According to a recent intelligence report, Moslem Antisemitism is growing in scope and extremism to the point that it has become a credible, strategic threat to Israel and Israeli policy makers are concerned with the potential danger this may pose to the Jewish state.
The report indicates that by educating generations of Moslems with a deep animus toward Israel and Jews, this Antisemitism actively propagated by many Arab and Islamic states in the Middle East holds back the peace process and normalization efforts between Israel and Moslem countries. The report says this is prejudice that is evil, it is ideological incitement by states and organizations with the practical means of translating it into evil action.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
A growing Antisemitism among the Moslem states in the Middle East is not only a strategic threat to Israel, but a page out of Bible prophecy for the Last Days.
The recent intelligence assessment that was released by the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center reported that Moslem Antisemitism is growing in scope and extremism and Israeli officials are on alert due to the strategic threat this phenomenon poses to the Jewish state. The basis for this growing Antisemitism among Moslems, according to the report, is coming from strictly Islamic reasoning. It's an Anti-Jewish hatred developed through new interpretation of Islamic history and the Scriptures.
Indeed, a study of Biblical history of two men, Isaac and Ishmael, will give us better understanding of this strategic threat. Isaac had a son named Jacob who had twelve sons, the twelve Tribes of Israel, which are the Jewish people of today. Ishmael also had twelve sons, but did not father the Arab world, instead Ishmael went to Arabia and fathered one nation, Genesis 17:20. He fathered the modern-day state of Arabia which is the birthplace for the Islamic faith.
A hatred that goes back 4,000 years is the reason for Islamic Antisemitism, which Bible prophecy said would indeed come to pass.

According to two internationally known astronomers our years on earth are numbered until this earth is totally destroyed
According to a forecast with new calculations by a pair of world renown astronomers; one from Mexico and the other from England, man has only so many years on this earth before it is dragged from it's orbit to a rapid vaporous death.
This report is the latest installment in a long running debate about the ultimate fate of the earth and the universe surrounding the earth.
This report coming with word that the sun is getting hotter and hotter and it will continue to do so until it transforms itself into a red giant.
These two astronomers, Dr Peter Schroeder and Dr Robert Smith say that if nature is left to its own devices, the earth will be destroyed in about 7 1/2 billion years; that's right "b", 7 1/2 billion years from now.

Two astronomers who are predicting the demise of the earth and the sun, are pretty much on target but their timing is a bit off, that is according to Bible prophecy.
This report about the demise of the earth indicates that the sun is and will continue to get hotter and hotter until it drags the earth to a rapid, vaporous death.
This is not the first such report from the field of science, it is an ongoing debate among scientists as to how and when the earth and much of our galaxy will be destroyed.
This report on the ultimate fate of the earth that we are living on today pretty much is on target but as I said, the timing is a bit off, by billions of years.
Bible prophecy says that the earth will be burned up, II Peter 3:10. Revelation 8 & 16 speak of the earth's destruction as the sun gets hotter and hotter.
The Apostle John wrote in Revelation 21:1-2 that there will be a new earth and new heavens in the future. This scenario is also foretold by the ancient Jewish prophet, Isaiah, found in Isaiah 65:17 and 66:22.
These prophecies will indeed be fulfilled; however, not in 7 1/2 billion years, but surely in the near future.

An Islamic leader in Israel denies the Jewish temples ever existed in Jerusalem
The al Aqsa Mosque, known as the Temple Mount to the Jewish people, was never the site of a Jewish Temple according to the head of the Islamic movement, Sheikh Raad Salah who said that the claims of the Jews are a big lie and they have no right to even one speck of dirt on the location.
The sheikh said he believes that Moslems are at a critical time in history, that al Aqsa is in danger and Jerusalem is in danger and the Moslem world must save al Aqsa, free Jerusalem and end the Israeli occupation. Sheikh Salah believes that Jerusalem is not only houses, it is faith, it is history, it is a present, a future, an eternal right that the Moslems will not relinquish.
Jimmy DeYoung's Prophetic Prospective on the News
An Islamic leader that says there was never a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and then says that piece of real estate actually belongs to the Moslems is playing a role that was foretold in Bible prophecy.
It sounds like an echo chamber here in Jerusalem as one Islamic leader after another makes the statement that there was never a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount, a fact disputed by both Biblical and secular history. Islamic leaders claim that there is no archaeological evidence of a previous Jewish presence on the Temple Mount. With total disregard for Biblical history, these Islamic leaders make claims that can be easily disproved.
The Bible reveals that King Solomon built the first Jewish Temple on Mount Moriah, the Temple Mount, almost 3,000 years ago, II Chronicles 3:1. There is the Biblical account of the building and the dedicatory service of the second Jewish Temple built in Jerusalem around 2,500 years ago, Ezra 6. Jesus told the ancient prophet Zechariah that He would return to Jerusalem to build His Temple on the Temple Mount, Zechariah 1:16 and Zechariah 6:12. However before that, conflict and controversy would surround the Temple Mount, Zechariah 12:2.
An Islamic leader claiming that there has never been a Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount is indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Automated killer robots could unleash a robot arms race that will be a threat to humanity
According to university professor Noel Sharke, the keynote speaker at Great Britain's Royal United Services Institute, the autonomous gun-toting robots developed for warfare could easily fall into the hands of the terrorists, and could unleash a robot arms race that will pose a threat to humanity.
Intelligent machines deployed on battle fields around the world, from mobile grenade launchers to rocket firing drones, can already identify and lock onto targets without human help. There are thousands of military robots on the ground in Iraq as well as unmanned aircraft and military leaders are calling for autonomous robots as soon as possible.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
An autonomous gun-toting robot in the hands of a terrorist in our world today could well be one aspect of the End Times scenario that is found in Bible prophecy.
The warning from a top expert on Artificial Intelligence that an autonomous gun toting robot in the hands of a terrorist could bring about a robot arms race that will be a threat to humanity, has not deterred military leaders around the world to back away from their need of for these robots that would allow for a risk free war. Several countries led by the US, have already invested heavily in robots warriors developed for use on the battlefield. South Korea and Israel both deploy armed robot border guards while China, India, Russia, and Great Britain have all increased the use of military robots. These autonomous, gun-toting robots may well be the robots warriors that will fulfill many aspects of Bible prophecy for the Last Days.
Jesus Christ in His Olivet Discourse said that one indication of His soon return would be war and rumors of war, Matthew 24:6. John the Apostle and author of the book of Revelation said that the second judgment to be released on humankind during the Tribulation Period would be war and death, Revelation 6:3-4. John also wrote that one-fourth of the Earth's population will be killed, many of them by wars in the future, Revelation 6:7-8.
Autonomous, gun-toting robots may well set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

The EU has a Doomsday vault which they call the "Noah's Ark" for food plant seeds
The European Commission President Hosea Borosso believes that the doomsday vault located on a Norwegian island in the Arctic hidden in a cave, is a massive storehouse for food plant seeds that will be preserved in the face of any natural disaster in the future.
Referred to optimistically as the "Noah's Ark" for food plants seeds, the vault will store seeds at temperatures cold enough to maintain important crops such as wheat, barley and peas for up to ten thousand years. The global seed vault has been built to store four and a half million different agricultural seed samples from around the world with the capability of keeping seeds for future generations no matter what the future may hold.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The reality that the EU has a global seed vault called the "Noah's Ark" for food plant seeds to protect basic food stuffs from future natural disaster is a precursor to the End Times scenario that is found in Bible prophecy.
The quest for survival in the future by protecting food plant seeds in a doomsday vault so there will be at least the possibility of seeds for wheat, barley and peas is a project that has been in the making for a number of years. What has been termed the "Noah's Ark" of seeds is up and operating and can house upwards of four and a half million food plant seeds preserving biodiversity in the face of global disasters in the future. This global seed vault is in reality evidence that Bible prophecy is going to be fulfilled.
In the Biblical book of Revelation, the Apostle John wrote of ecological judgment that is coming to this Earth during the seven year Tribulation Period. One of the judgments will be the destruction of a third of the trees on Earth and all of the grass. That destruction will be by fire, Revelation 8:7. Another ecological judgment will be all fresh water in lakes, ponds, and streams plus the oceans of the world will be made so that all living creatures cannot use these waters to sustain life, Revelation 8:8-11 and Revelation 16:3.
Even the "Noah's Ark" for food plant seeds will not stop Bible prophecy from being fulfilled.

Tony Blair says that he will be the president of Europe if they give him the power
As the EU prepares to name the first permanent president of the member-states, 27 of them now and sure to include additional states in the future, one name keeps surfacing as the very first European president, Tony Blair, the former PM of Great Britain.
French President Sarkozy, German Chancellor Merkel, Gordon Brown, current PM of the UK, and even US President George W. Bush have suggested Tony Blair would make a great president of Europe. In response to these suggestions, the former UK PM said that he is increasingly willing to put himself forward for the job if it comes with real power to make a difference.

The EU with a permanent powerful president is a page out of Bible prophecy for the Last Days.
The former PM of the UK, Tony Blair, is today the Middle East Peace Envoy for the Quartet, the US, EU, UN and Russia. Blair has an office in Jerusalem where he has been playing a major role in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. This European leader has been holding discussions with some of his oldest allies on how he could mount a campaign to become the first full-time president of the European Council. The President of the European Council is a post created under the Lisbon Treaty and he would chair Europe's chief decision making body. The EU-Lisbon Treaty to be implemented in 2009 would set in place a perfect prototype of the political power and position that is called for in Bible prophecy.
Daniel, an ancient Jewish prophet, revealed 2,500 years ago a scenario that calls for the revival of the old Roman Empire. It will have a leader known as the Antichrist, a very powerful political leader, Daniel 9:7-24. Do not misunderstand me now, I am not saying that the EU is the revived Roman Empire and that Tony Blair is the Antichrist, what I am saying is that both the EU and Tony Blair are perfect prototypes of what Bible prophecy calls for in the Last Days.

A world renowned historian says that an attack on Iran is not a deterrent but an inducement
The Jerusalem Conference, a gathering of politicos, military leaders, media people and members of academia heard the world renowned historian Bernard Lewis, who delivered the closing lecture at the conference, tell the attendees that Iran, Israel's number one threat, would not consider a preemptive attack or even the threat of mutually assured destruction as a deterrent factor, but rather an inducement to attack the Jewish state.
Iran's leadership comprises a group of extreme fanatical Moslems who believe that their Messianic times have arrived and that Iran, which is not an Arab country but a Moslem nation, is ruled today by a Moslem theocracy which calculates its policies not by Iran's national interest but by what is good for Islam. Lewis said that even though Iran is actively pursuing a Nuclear Weapon of Mass Destruction (NWMD), a non-nuclear Iran is dangerous for Israel and it must be carefully watched.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The statement by Bernard Lewis, the world renowned historian, that Iran with or without a NWMD is still a threat to Israel, is a page out of Bible prophecy for the Last Days.
The Jerusalem Conference gathers members of academia, politicos, military leaders and media people to Jerusalem on a yearly basis to mainly discuss the Jewish state of Israel's place in the Middle East and in fact, the world. The conference speakers also addressed the major threats to Israel and how they believe these threats can best be handled. Bernard Lewis, the world renown historian who addressed the Jerusalem Conference, gave his evaluation of the term that he coined the "Clash of Civilizations" with an analysis of the threat to Israel in today's world with Iran at the top of the list, which is a glimpse into the End Times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.
A number of Arab and Moslem nations today are preparing to deal with the nation they consider a cancer to the Middle East, the Jewish state of Israel. Ezekiel, Daniel, Joel and to some extent every ancient Jewish prophet, wrote about this Alignment of Nations that will try to destroy Israel in the Last Days, Ezekiel 38, Daniel 11, Joel 2 and Psalm 83.
As Bernard Lewis reveals, Iran is the major threat to Israel, but only one of the threats.

Ultra-Orthodox Jews are expanding the population of the West Bank by large numbers
The Jewish settler population in Judea and Samaria, the West Bank, is growing twice as fast as the rest of the population in other areas in Israel and the Ultra-Orthodox community is responsible for the major portion of the annual growth in these disputed territories.
In the areas where the Ultra-Orthodox move in to establish their young families, the annual growth rate is five to six times more than Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv's growth respectively and twice as much as the growth of many other Jewish settlements.
The Ultra-Orthodox rabbis sanctioned living in these settlements assuming that these territories would be annexed to Israel sometime in the near future.

The expanding population of Ultra-Orthodox Jews in Judea and Samaria is in essence a page out of Bible prophecy for these religious Jews and the land of their forefathers.
Since the end of the Six Day War in June of 1967, Jews both religious and secular have been moving into the area of Judea and Samaria, the West Bank, building their homes and raising their families. These disputed territories have increased in population over the years to nearly 500,000 people in two hundred Jewish settlements.
Now, the Israeli government is reporting that the fastest growth of population in any area of Israel is this area referred to as the West Bank, but known Biblically as Judea and Samaria.
As I mentioned, this report is a page out of the prophetic passages in God's Word. The Ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel wrote 2,500 years ago that in the Last Days God would give the land of the forefathers of the Jewish people to the Jews of today, Ezekiel 36.
Ezekiel the prophet was actually told to preach to the land that would bring forth man and animal and multiply them on the land, Ezekiel 36:11. Ezekiel 36:6-22 reveals what God would do with the land for the Jews and in verse 22 tells us that would be done for His holy namesake.

The Israeli government has allowed Hamas to broadcast incitement against the Jews from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem
Rabbi Chaim Richmond, a member of the Jewish Sanhedrin and leader of the Temple Institute, claims that the Israeli government is responsible for allowing Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist organization, to broadcast live from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem while at the same time Jews and Christians were banned from the holy site.
Rami Kaoud, a manager of Hamas-al Aqsa Radio, said that broadcasting daily from the Temple Mount helps to bring al Aqsa to the Gaza Strip and to challenge the siege imposed on the Palestinian people by the Zionist state of Israel.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
Live radio broadcast by the Palestinian terror group Hamas from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is evidence of the nearness of both the positive and negative scenarios that can be found in Bible prophecy for the Last Days.
For a number of years, the Palestinian Authority has broadcast the Friday Moslem services from the Al Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Now, the Palestinian terrorist group, Hamas, has been granted permission to broadcast live and daily to the Hamas followers in the Gaza Strip from the Temple Mount.
In a joint statement by the new Jewish Congress, the different Jewish Temple Movements and the Sanhedrin, they claimed that the Israeli government has decided to give over the Temple Mount, the apple of the Jewish nation's eye, for the use of enemy incitement as Hamas calls for the destruction of the Jewish state of Israel.
There is a positive and negative aspect to this story as it relates to the prophetic scenarios that can be found in bible prophecy for the Last Days.
The ancient Jewish prophet Micah revealed that the Word of the Lord, Word from the Messiah, will go forth from the House of the Lord, the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, in the future Kingdom Period, Micah 4:1-2.
However, this story also reveals to us that the Palestinian people, people in Biblical times known as Edomites, descendants of Esau; these Palestinians would call for the destruction of the Jewish state and the demise of the Jewish people in the Last Days, Ezekiel 35.
Live radio broadcasts by Hamas from the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Hamas called on Egypt to send its army into Jerusalem to liberate the al Aqsa Mosque
The Egyptian FM suggested recently that Egyptian soldiers should take over the security in the Gaza Strip. The Hamas spokesman, Ismail Radwan said Arab countries should send their armies to the Israeli capital and take over Jerusalem which the PA wants as its capital for the state of Palestine.
The call by Hamas for the Arab world to liberate al Aqsa Mosque located on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem means the most sacred spot on earth to Judaism, the Temple Mount, could see the armies of the Arab world take action against the heart of Israel and the Jewish people. Hamas, the Palestinian-Islamic terror organization, has bitterly objected to the ongoing talks between the PA President Mahmoud Abbas and the Israelis and wants the Arab and Islamic world to make plans for a conquest of Jerusalem and that to take place very soon.

A call by Hamas for the Arab and Islamic world to send its armies into Jerusalem to liberate the Temple Mount is a scenario that is found in Bible prophecy for the "end times".
Rejecting the suggestion from Egypt's FM that the Egyptian army should take over security in the Gaza Strip, Hamas has called for what could become a major conflict in the Middle East. The Hamas spokesman has called for the Arab and Moslem world to enter Jerusalem and liberate the al Aqsa Mosque which is located on the Temple Mount, a holy site to both the Moslems and the Jews. Arab and Moslem armies on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem would signal to any student of Bible prophecy that the return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ was very close at hand.
The ancient Jewish prophet Joel said that in the "last days" a mighty militia, the largest army ever formed on earth, would come to Jerusalem to take it from the Jewish people, Joel 2:1-4. There is only one group of people that could form such a military might and that is the Islamic peoples as revealed in Daniel 11, Ezekiel 38 and Psalm 83. However, before the major battle over Jerusalem takes place, Jesus Christ will call for Christians to join Him in the heavens, Revelation 4, I Thessalonians 4:13-18 and I Corinthians 15:51-53.

A coalition of European legislators will meet to examine ways to stop the global spread of Islam
An Israeli member of the Knesset, Israel's legislative body, announced that a coalition of European legislatures will come together to examine ways to stop the global spread of Islam. This announcement coming as Moslems around the world observed Ramadan, the Islamic holy days to honor the giving of the Koran to Mohamed.
Israeli member of Knesset Arieh Eldad announced an international conference, to be held in Jerusalem, will focus on how nations and the legislative bodies around the world might be able to stop the spread of radical Islam and the possible end of the democratic future in the western world. Ramadan, a month-long daytime fast for Moslem people is observed by 1.5 billion people around the world to mark the giving of the Islamic holy book, the Koran which does indeed call for the worldwide spread of Islam.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
Much like the Bible, the Islamic holy book, the Koran cals for a worldwide kingdom for the "endtimes" which will not come about according to Bible prophecy.
As 1.5 million Moslems around the world observed the giving of the Koran by fasting during the day for the month of Ramadan, the Islamic doctrine of a worldwide caliphate or kingdom is understood by the Moslem world. Islamic doctrine says that Allah will lead this kingdom and the world will convert to Islam. Islamic eschatology states that prior to the kingdom, the Mahdi, the Moslem messiah returns to set the world in place for this global caliphate.
The Bible, the Word of the true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Jesus Christ reveals that Jesus Christ will indeed return to the earth to setup His Kingdom, Zechariah 6:12-13, Daniel 7:13-14 and Revelation 20:4-6. Before Jesus does setup His Kingdom, the Islamic world will be devastated, Ezekiel 38:18-39:5.

Though European legislatures and even worldwide legislatures may try to stop the global spread of Islam, God's plan will be the way to victory.

The Supreme Moslem Council says the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is Jewish
Over a decade ago the Chief Moslem cleric for the Palestinian Authority(PA) Mufti Sabri stated that the claim of the Jewish people to the right of control over Jerusalem is false and that the Islamic world only recognized Islamic supervision over Jerusalem.
However, it is now known that this absolute claim to Jerusalem and the Temple Mount is not absolute according to a document recently discovered, published by the Supreme Moslem Council back in 1925 which states that the Temple Mount is the site of Solomon's Temple and this is beyond dispute.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The discovery of a Moslem document stating that the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is Jewish is inline with biblical history and the "endtime" scenario for Bible prophecy.
I personally stood in the office of Shiekh Sabri, the Mufti of Jerusalem, and heard this chief Moslem cleric for the PA state there was never a Jewish presence on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and that this site was a Moslem holy site dating back 6,000 years. With his statement, which is part of a campaign to convince the world that the Jews have no claim to the Temple Mount, the Mufti, Sheikh Sabri, contradicted Jewish and biblical history but it is now known that the Mufti contradicted his own Supreme Moslem Council.
The Islamic document discovered recently that states the Temple Mount was the site of Solomon's Temple, the Temple built by Israel's third king, is in perfect harmony with Bible history, II Chronicles 3-5. The Temple Mount in Jerusalem was also the site of the second Jewish Temple built by the Jews who returned from Babylon led by Zerubbabel, Ezra 1-6. This sacred site to the Jewish people, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, will also be the site of the next Temple to be built there as well, that is according to Bible prophecy, Zechariah 1:14-16, 6:12.
However, until that Temple of the Messiah is built, controversy will surround this holy site, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem as indicated by this newly discovered Moslem document.

A survey reveals less than 10% of all born-again Christians look at the world with a biblical perspective
George Barna, a pollster with an independent marketing research company, found in a recent survey that only 4% of the overall population of America and 9% of born-again Christians have a biblical world view, suggesting that many of the nation's moral and spiritual challenges are directly attributable to this fact.
For the purposes of the research, a biblical world view was defined as believing that absolute moral truth exists, that such truth is defined by the Bible, and that the Bible is accurate in all of its teachings.

A biblical world view based upon understanding Bible prophecy is essential for an understanding of the times we live in today.
Let's look at the provision in scripture for a biblical world view. All scripture is God breathed. That means it's inspired and is profitable for doctrine, for correction, and instruction in righteousness, that's II Timothy 3:16. God gave the scriptures to the Jew to preserve and communicate to mankind, Romans 3:1-2. And thus, we have His written Word for us today. Our blessings and understanding comes from God's provision of His heart, His mind, His thoughts in written form, the Bible.
Now, let's look at the priority for studying a biblical world view. The Apostle Paul wrote that we must study the Word of God, a workman that need not be ashamed, relying on God's Word for all of life's questions. We must rightly divide the Word of truth, the Bible, to ascertain its true meaning. These two principles, study and rightly dividing the Word of God, are instruction for the End Times and they come from Paul's exhortation to young Timothy found in II Timothy 2:15.
Finally, let's look at the prophetic scenario of a biblical world view. A study of Bible prophecy reveals the scenario for the Last Days with a seven year period of judgment in our world followed by the return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, to establish His Kingdom here on earth. However, preceding that seven years of judgment, those who are true born again Christians will be taken out of this world to be with Jesus Christ, that's the Rapture.
Allowing the Bible to form our world view prepares us for these future events and gives us evidence as to how close they may be.
