The end of the Oil Era within three years could cause trouble like never before in human history

Members of the European Union's parliament heard a report recently that the world will witness the end of the Oil Era in this present generation's lifetime and they should focus research and investment on developing renewable energy over the next 25 years in order to usher in a third industrial revolution after steam and oil power.

Jeremy Rifkin, chief of the Washington based foundation on economic trends, indicated that the world will have used up half of its oil resources possibly by 2010 and should it peak in the next 2 or 3 years, the world will be in trouble like never before human history.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The end of oil resources in the lifetime of this present generation in reality advances the possibility for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled. With the rise in oil prices in the last several years world leaders have struggled to prepare the world for a time that could well see the price of oil cause an economic disaster.

As Jeremy Rifkin stated, if the oil available today peaks in the next two or three years, this world would be in trouble like never before in human history. The truth is that oil runs this world and daily consumption, which is expanding daily will only go up, not decrease. Thus, there is a definite problem on the horizon.

With the rise of oil as the power source to drive this world industrially and economically, the nations with the major oil resources became richer and more powerful. It goes without saying that Middle Eastern nations became major players on the world scene as a result of their petroleum dollars or in other words their oil revenues.

This scenario then brought into focus the nations that are mentioned in Bible prophecy such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, and Libya that have a role in the End Times drama laid out in Bible prophecy. These nations I just mentioned are found in Ezekiel 38, Jeremiah 50, 51, Psalm 83, Daniel 11, and Revelation 18. The possible soon depletion of oil resources does indeed advance the time frame for Bible prophecy to be played out. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
