US Presidential hopefuls have changed their focus towards the Middle East

With the assassination of Pakistani opposition leader Benazir Bhutto, the US presidential hopefuls, who are battling for political advantage in the nominating contest, have changed their focus overseas to the Middle East.

Domestic issues have dominated the campaign thus far, but the dastardly act in Pakistan has thrust foreign policy back onto the agenda and each candidate is vying for the spotlight to be able to explain his or her foreign policy experience or lack of experience with all candidates admitting Bhutto's assassination does change the complexion of the presidential nominating process. Polls indicate a tight race in both the Democratic and Republican party primaries or caucuses with all candidates recognizing that it is a tough world out there.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

Politics, the mechanism that operates human government, has in the past, and will in the future, play a key role in the Last Days scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

The events of history always play a role in the politics of any nation. This also is the case with the assassination of the Pakistani opposition leader Benazir Bhutto. The Middle East will be impacted by this tragic event as well as the entire geopolitical world. It has already become evident that this tragedy in Pakistan has changed the agenda of the US presidential nominating process.

Revelation 17:7 sets in place a principle that indicates God does use human government and human leaders as well as the actors on the world stage for the End Time drama predicted in End Time prophecy. God established human government, Genesis 9:6, 4,500 years ago and has used the political to set the prophetic in motion for the End Times scenario that can be found in His Word.

The death of Benazir Bhutto and its aftermath is evidence that Bible prophecy will indeed be fulfilled.
