Anthony Cortisman, a former director of intelligence assessment for the Secretary of Defense, who is now a top strategic guru at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, says that if Iran achieves it's goal of a nuclear weapon of mass destruction the entire power-balance in the Middle East will be changed and it will set the stage for a nuclear war in the region.

Cortisman says that theoretically it is possible that the Israeli State, economy and organized society would survive such an almost mortal blow; however, Iran would not survive in the normal sense of the term.

The stark claim of a controversial new film which says a crash in oil production is about to set off worldwide recession and economic collapse and could trigger a global conflict that will cost millions of lives is closer to reality than fiction according to petroleum experts.

Petroleum experts including the US Energy Information Administration says that oil production has reached its peak or that the peak is imminent, which is the message of this new film, "A Crude Awakening: The Oil Crash," a film coming out in theaters across the world.

According to university professor Noel Sharke, the keynote speaker at Great Britain's Royal United Services Institute, the autonomous gun-toting robots developed for warfare could easily fall into the hands of the terrorists, and could unleash a robot arms race that will pose a threat to humanity.

Intelligent machines deployed on battle fields around the world, from mobile grenade launchers to rocket firing drones, can already identify and lock onto targets without human help. There are thousands of military robots on the ground in Iraq as well as unmanned aircraft and military leaders are calling for autonomous robots as soon as possible.

Jesus Christ in His Olivet Discourse said that one indication of His soon return would be war and rumors of war, Matthew 24:6. John the Apostle and author of the book of Revelation said that the second judgment to be released on humankind during the Tribulation Period would be war and death, Revelation 6:3-4. John also wrote that one-fourth of the Earth's population will be killed, many of them by wars in the future, Revelation 6:7-8.

PA President Mahmoud Abbas at a news conference following a closed door meeting with Jordanian King Abdullah urged the US to make good on its promises to work for a Middle East peace settlement by the end of the year warning that if there is no peace deal in 2008, there will never be a peace deal between the Israelis and the Palestinians.

Israeli PM Ehud Olmert says the end of 2008 may not be a feasible deadline for a peace deal with the Palestinians even though the Israelis are making all effort to conclude all difficulties and resolve outstanding disputes to resolve outstanding disputes to be able to reach an agreement in 2008.

The European Commission President Hosea Borosso believes that the doomsday vault located on a Norwegian island in the Arctic hidden in a cave, is a massive storehouse for food plant seeds that will be preserved in the face of any natural disaster in the future.

Referred to optimistically as the "Noah's Ark" for food plants seeds, the vault will store seeds at temperatures cold enough to maintain important crops such as wheat, barley and peas for up to ten thousand years. The global seed vault has been built to store four and a half million different agricultural seed samples from around the world with the capability of keeping seeds for future generations no matter what the future may hold.

The quest for survival in the future by protecting food plant seeds in a doomsday vault so there will be at least the possibility of seeds for wheat, barley and peas is a project that has been in the making for a number of years. What has been termed the "Noah's Ark" of seeds is up and operating and can house upwards of four and a half million food plant seeds preserving biodiversity in the face of global disasters in the future. In the Biblical book of Revelation, the Apostle John wrote of ecological judgment that is coming to this Earth during the seven year Tribulation Period. One of the judgments will be the destruction of a third of the trees on Earth and all of the grass. That destruction will be by fire, Revelation 8:7. The Jerusalem Conference, a gathering of politicos, military leaders, media people and members of academia heard the world renowned historian Bernard Lewis, who delivered the closing lecture at the conference, tell the attendees that Iran, Israel's number one threat, would not consider a preemptive attack or even the threat of mutually assured destruction as a deterrent factor, but rather an inducement to attack the Jewish state.

Iran's leadership comprises a group of extreme fanatical Moslems who believe that their Messianic times have arrived and that Iran, which is not an Arab country but a Moslem nation, is ruled today by a Moslem theocracy which calculates its policies not by Iran's national interest but by what is good for Islam. Lewis said that even though Iran is actively pursuing a Nuclear Weapon of Mass Destruction (NWMD), a non-nuclear Iran is dangerous for Israel and it must be carefully watched.

An Israeli official says that homosexual activity is the cause of a recent earthquake

A member of the Israeli parliament, the Knesset, says that the recent earthquake that was felt across Israel was the result of the homosexual activity practiced in the country. This charge made by Knesset member Slomo Benazir follows up another statement made by a fellow member of the Knesset Nissam Zeev that stirred controversy when he said that the local Israeli gay movement was a plague that could destroy Jewish Israel.

Both members of the Knesset referred to the Gomorrah, extra-Biblical Jewish writing that mentions a number of causes for earthquakes, one of which is homosexuality, which they say the Israeli Knesset legitimizes.

The statement by two members of the Israeli Knesset that the homosexual movement of Israel is the cause of earthquakes in the area and may destroy a Jewish Israel has a connection to the words of Jesus Christ when He discussed the Last Days.

During a special Knesset session on Israel's preparedness for the possibility of another earthquake hitting the region, a member of the Knesset with the Shas party, an ultra-orthodox political party, quoted the Gomorrah which does indeed mention that homosexuality can be the cause of earthquakes. By the way, this Knesset session was also focused on the report from scientists that Israel must be ready for the "Big One", an earthquake of a magnitude of 7.0 or better on the Richter Scale. The Shas political party has been fighting the public demonstrations by the Gay and Lesbian community in Israel saying not only will it destroy the Jewish state of Israel, but any politician that backs such a movement will be judged by God face to face in the heavens.

Jesus, during His preaching ministry near the end of His time on Earth, did warn of how these homosexual activities would be a Sign of the Times of the End and His return to earth, Luke 17:28-30. A reading of Genesis 19 reveals God's thinking about Sodomy, homosexuality, He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for such activity.

The Lord warns that Sodomy will be prevalent in the day that He returns to Earth.

The Palestinians may declare their own state unilaterally

A senior Palestinian official has said that the Palestinians ought to unilaterally declare a state if peace talks with the Israelis do not succeed, adding that the Palestinians deserved independence more than Kosovo.

Another Palestinian official disagreed saying that the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) had declared independence in 1988 and now the Palestinian people need real independence, not a declaration, they need real independence by ending the Israeli occupation. These comments coming from key Palestinian officials even as the peace negotiations continue between the Israelis and the Palestinians while at the same time there is the continuation of Palestinian violence and Israeli military activity in Gaza.

If the Palestinian people follow the lead of Kosovo and declare an independent state unilaterally, the End Times scenario of Bible prophecy will be set to be fulfilled.

Even though there has never been a Palestinian state throughout all of history, the world has now been led to believe that the Israelis must give back the Palestinian state. Until the Oslow Accords, the peace treaty between the Israelis and the Palestinians signed in 1993, there was never a legitimacy to the Palestinian claim of a state for the Palestinian people. Now, with Kosovo going against international law and declaring their own independence from Serbia, the Palestinians say they deserve to be an independent state as well.

This scenario was revealed 2,500 years ago by the ancient Jewish prophet Malachi just as the Old Testament Period was closing out. Malachi wrote that the descendants of Esau, the Edomites, would one day return and rebuild their nation, Malachi 1:4. God told Malachi that He would call the borders of the Edomites, the Palestinians of today, the borders of wickedness, Malachi 1:4. Obadiah wrote 2,800 years ago that the Last Days would see the Israelis and the Palestinians in conflict as they are today.

Russia says the declaration of independence by Kosovo threatens the destruction of world order and international stability

The Russian FM has warned the world that Kosovo's declaration of independence from Serbia could have dangerous consequences and it threatens the destruction of world order and international stability which has been developed over the decades.

The UN Security Council and the EU are both divided over how to respond to Kosovo's political move with Russia and China supporting Serbia in their opposition to Kosovo's withdrawal from Serbia. The Serbian parliament has passed a resolution condemning Kosovo's declaration of independence and has withdrawn its ambassadors from nations who have recognized Kosovo as an independent state.

Russia's warning of the destruction of world order and international stability has a relationship with the End Times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

For years there has been an effort by the Albanians to take over the Serbian enclave of Kosovo which has resulted in Kosovo declaring its independence with the encouragement of the US and many of the larger member states of the EU. Russia has opposed such a move from the very outset, mostly because of the relationship with Serbia in the former Soviet Union. Now, with the independence declared by Kosovo, Russia is ready to encourage instability in the region and has warned that this move could shake up the world order.

Bible prophecy records that the ancient Jewish prophet Ezekiel foretold the role that Russia would play in the Last Days. Ezekiel 38:2 mentions Russia by its Biblical name, Magog. Magog will lead a coalition of nations in the Last Days, an alignment of nations that will endeavor to destroy the Jewish state of Israel, Ezekiel 38 and Daniel 11.

Kosovo has declared independence and is now pushing for global recognition

Fireworks lit the skies and hundreds and thousands of people of Kosovo filled the streets of Kosovo's capital on Sunday, after the territories parliament declared independence from Serbia even as the Prime Minister of Serbia said that his country will never accept the establishment of a false country on it's territory.

Kosovo has begun it's campaign for global recognition but bitter divisions in the European Union and the United Nations have raised the potential for conflict over the Balkan territory while Russia and China have expressed outright opposition and grave concern over Kosovo's unilateral decision.

The United Nations Security Council was expected to hold an emergency meeting to discuss this issue with the Serbian president due to address the body on the breakaway his country bitterly opposes.

The declaration of independence by Kosovo is a geopolitical event that has a unique connection to the end time scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

In the late 1990's, the then US President Bill Clinton gave the order to bomb the country of Serbia in an effort to separate the Serbs from Kosovo. The Serbs considered Kosovo as the cradle of their civilization and say they will come together and show the whole world that they do not acknowledge the creation of a false state in their territory.

One very prominent geopolitical pundit told me that this declaration of independence in Kosovo, by the Albanian majority there, is part of an overall plan to form greater Albania, a state that will become an Islamic Republic under the Islamic Sharia Law.

This scenario does indeed set the stage for the world wide effort by the Moslems to establish an international caliphat, an Islamic kingdom under Allah and Sharia Law.

The ancient Jewish prophet Joel, in chapter two of his prophecy, reveals a massive military movement in the last days that will ultimately move to destroy the Jewish State of Israel. Daniel chapters 2 and 7 unfolds a scenario that brings about a world wide kingdom under Jesus Christ, not Allah.

Jerusalem is the subject of discussion in the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks that could bring down the Israeli government

As the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian peace talks continue, there is the ever-increasing possibility that the present Israeli government may fall apart due to the negotiations going on right now about the status of the city of Jerusalem.

Several of the political parties involved in the Ehud Olmert government say they will bring the government down if even discussions of the division of Jerusalem are being held. There is information surfacing that both public and secret talks are going on and one Israeli official is claiming that a deal has been made to divide Jerusalem. The PA leadership says there can be no peace deal without a portion of Jerusalem as the capital of the Palestinian state they see as the deal for peace in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Negotiations to divide the city of Jerusalem being held by the Israelis and the Palestinians can not only bring down the present Israeli government but it is a precursor to the End Times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.

As the Israelis and the Palestinians discuss the potential peace deal that President Bush and other world leaders have encouraged these leaders to do in order to have a peaceful coexistence in the Middle East, the subject of Jerusalem is quickly becoming the main focus of the talks. Many of the Israeli leaders wanted any discussion of the status on Jerusalem to be held at the end of the peace talks. Palestinian leaders believe that Jerusalem is their main concern in these talks and have forced the issue onto the table with Israeli officials agreeing to talk about Jerusalem and its division. With Jerusalem as the main focus of the prophetic scenario found in Bible prophecy, we are quickly moving ever so close to the fulfillment of these prophecies.

Zechariah wrote 2,500 years ago that Jerusalem will be the center of controversy that it is today and this controversy would be the precursor to the Second Coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, Zechariah 12:2. Jesus told Zechariah in a pre-incarnate appearance that He was aggressively possessive for Jerusalem and that He would come back one day to build His Temple there where He would rule and reign from during the Kingdom Period, Zechariah 1:14-16.

Tony Blair says he will be President of Europe if they give him the power

As the EU prepares to name the first permanent president of the member-states, 27 of them now and sure to include additional states in the future, one name keeps surfacing as the very first European president, Tony Blair, the former PM of Great Britain.

French President Sarkozy, German Chancellor Merkel, Gordon Brown, current PM of the UK, and even US President George W. Bush have suggested Tony Blair would make a great president of Europe. In response to these suggestions, the former UK PM said that he is increasingly willing to put himself forward for the job if it comes with real power to make a difference.

The former PM of the UK, Tony Blair, is today the Middle East Peace Envoy for the Quartet, the US, EU, UN and Russia. Blair has an office in Jerusalem where he has been playing a major role in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. This European leader has been holding discussions with some of his oldest allies on how he could mount a campaign to become the first full-time president of the European Council. The President of the European Council is a post created under the Lisbon Treaty and he would chair Europe's chief decision making body. The EU-Lisbon Treaty to be implemented in 2009 would set in place a perfect prototype of the political power and position that is called for in Bible prophecy.

Daniel, an ancient Jewish prophet, revealed 2,500 years ago a scenario that calls for the revival of the old Roman Empire. It will have a leader known as the Antichrist, a very powerful political leader, Daniel 9:7-24. Do not misunderstand me now, I am not saying that the EU is the revived Roman Empire and that Tony Blair is the Antichrist, what I am saying is that both the EU and Tony Blair are perfect prototypes of what Bible prophecy calls for in the Last Days.

PA TV has a children's program with a bunny rabbit who says he will eat the Jews

A children's program of the Palestinian Authority (PA) TV has a new character created to incite Palestinian children to Antisemitism and violence and the character, a rabbit named Assoud, has come from Lebanon to return to the homeland and liberate it.

The PA TV program called "Tomorrow's Pioneers" features a young girl hostess who asks the rabbit why his name is Assoud since that translates as "lions" in English which the rabbit answers with, "I Assoud will finish off the Jews and eat them."

The Vatican's Chief Astronomer says Intelligent Design is not Science

The Director of the Vatican Observatory, George Coyne, said recently that Intelligent Design is not science and it does not belong in the science classroom. He added that Intelligent Design pretends to be science, but it is not science.

The Vatican's Chief Astronomer said that placing the Intelligent Design Theory alongside Evolution in school programs was wrong and was akin to mixing apples with oranges. Coyne's statements are in line with other critics of Intelligent Design who say it's merely Creationism, a literal reading of the Bible's story of Creation, camouflaged in scientific language.

The forty-seven nation Council of Europe, a very powerful European political agency, has condemned all attempts to bring Creationism into Europe's school system saying that the Bible based theories and religious dogma threaten to undercut sound educational practices.

This pronouncement comes from the Council of Europe as creationists are involved in an ambitious effort to bring Creation to Britain and the rest of Europe. An effort led by Ken Ham, the founder of Answers in Genesis, who says that the true history of the earth is told in the Bible, not Darwin's, The Origins of the Species.

In an ambitious effort to bring Creationism to all of Europe, led by Ken Ham, founders of Answers in Genesis, and other Bible believing Europeans has been met with the defenders of Darwin and his theory of evolution fighting back.

The Council of Europe, in a report that called the introduction of Creationism into the public classroom as very dangerous, said that these views can subvert children. On the other side of the coin, Creationists in Europe say evolution is a lie and it is being taught in schools as fact leading children in the wrong direction.

This debate between evolutionist and creationist has been going on for over 150 years and will continue until the Creator, Jesus Christ, comes back to earth to settle the debate. By the way, it is because of this debate and those who deny the Biblical account of Creation, that we can know we are quickly approaching the return of Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Peter wrote in II Peter 3 that in the days leading up to the return of Jesus Christ there would be people willfully ignorant, or dumb on purpose who would deny the Second Coming of the Lord as they also deny that the Lord created the heavens, the earth and all that in them is, II Peter 3:3-5.

The Council of Europe's condemnation of Creation being taught in the classroom is indeed a precursor for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

A leading British cleric says the UK should adopt Moslem Sharia Law

The Archbishop of Canterbury, the head of the Church of England, sparked controversy recently when he said that Great Britain should allow for the introduction of Sharia Law, Islamic law, into the British society, in fact he said it was unavoidable.

The Anglican leader advocated giving Sharia Law official status in the entire nation of Great Britain and doing this on the grounds that it would maintain social cohesion as some Moslems do not relate to the British legal system.

The introduction of Islamic Sharia Law in the nation of Great Britain is a step closer to the goal of Islam which is a worldwide caliphate, a kingdom in our world under Islamic law, a kingdom that actually has been reserved for Jesus Christ according to Bible prophecy.

There are a number of nations that recognize Islamic Sharia Law as the law of the land for their people, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Indonesia among them. The Sharia Law, Islamic law, is the foundation for the establishment of an Islamic Republic, a nation that is under Islamic law, the Sharia Law, and under the direction of the Islamic god Allah. The goal of Islam is a worldwide caliphate, a kingdom that will see all of humankind convert to Islam.

Islam has an End Time strategy that they believe is under way right now and Islamic terrorism is a part of that strategic scenario. There will be a worldwide theocracy, a Kingdom with a Deity in charge and that is the Kingdom to Come (see Thy Kingdom Come) when Jesus Christ comes back and sets up His Kingdom right here on Earth, a Kingdom that God Himself will give to Jesus, Daniel 7:13-14. Jesus will build a Temple in Jerusalem as the headquarters for this Earthly Kingdom where He will rule and reign 1,000 years, Zechariah 6:12-13 and Revelation 20:4-6.

The fact that the UK might introduce Islamic Sharia Law into their society is additional evidence that Jesus is coming to setup His Kingdom.

The top US Spy Chief warns Congress about China, Russia and OPEC oil producing countries

The US National Director of Intelligence, Michael McConnel, spoke of his concerns in the annual assessment of potential threats when addressing Congress recently and suggested that the threats in which economic matters join terrorism, nuclear proliferation and computer networking vulnerabilities were the top security issues.

McConnel said he was concerned about the financial capabilities of Russia, China and the OPEC countries and the potential use of their market access to exert financial leverage to political ends.

An intelligence report that focuses on China, Russia and the OPEC oil producing states has made it clear that these three different geopolitical entities can use economics to affect politics in the world. The world is today watching Russia and its leader, Vladimir Putin, take control of energy sources that supply Europe and has positioned itself to impact geopolitical activities in Europe. At the same time, China with its almost twenty-five percent of the world's total population is developing a major military force with control of all the sea lanes from the OPEC nations to the refineries in China. OPEC oil producing nations can and are manipulating political activities through its control of oil production supplying the needs of nations with ever increasing needs.

These three political entities will be major players in the End Time scenario that is found in Bible prophecy. Russia leads a coalition of nations against the Jewish state of Israel in the Last Days, Ezekiel 38:2, where Magog is the political name for modern-day Russia. OPEC nations will be the nations that form the alliance led by Russia, Ezekiel 38:2-6. China is referred to as the Kings of the East, Revelation 16:12, that brings a mighty force to Jerusalem to form an army of nations to stop the Return of Jesus Christ.

A world renown scientist says the human race must find new homes in outer space to survive

Speaking at an international conference at Hong Kong University, the author of the international best seller, "A Brief History of Time", who is also professor of Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, Stephen Hawking said that the survival of the human race depends on its ability to find new homes elsewhere in the universe because there is an increasing risk that a disaster will destroy the Earth.

The British astrophysicist told a news conference in Hong Kong that humans could have a permanent base on the Moon in 20 years and a colony on Mars in the next 40 years. Hawking said that new observational results and theoretical advances are coming in rapidly, and that we are getting closer to answering the old question, "Where did we come from?"

The declaration that humanity will live on the moon and Mars within 50 years and that we may be near to knowing the origins of the universe, statements made by the world renowned scientist Stephen Hawking, are a page out of Bible prophecy for the Last Days.

The acclaimed British Physicist Stephen Hawking, speaking recently at an international conference at the University of Hong Kong, told the attendees that we do not yet have good theoretical understanding of the observation of the expansion of the universe. Hawking added that without such understanding, we cannot be sure of the future of the universe. Hawking also said his unfulfilled ambitions, among many, were how the universe began and how the human race can survive in the next 100 years.

Interestingly, God's Word has the answers to all of Hawking's questions, and his questions set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled. The Creation account in Genesis 1 reveals the origins of the universe, revealed by the One who brought everything into existence, the One who was the only observer of this event. The Gospel accounts of the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ tells of how man can survive, not only for 100 years, but for eternity. II Peter 3 foretold the time when seemingly intelligent man would be dumb on purpose and deny that God created all things.

This, in fact, would be evidence that Jesus was coming and that it could be very soon. Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.

Less than 25% of Christians have Bible knowledge to place key events in order

According to the results of a new survey by the Bible Society in the UK, less than a quarter of Christians possess enough knowledge of the Bible to be able to place key events in Bible history in the order that they appear.

The Bible Society carried out a survey of regular church-goers which reveals that 78% of those people were unable to put a series of ten popular Bible stories in order: events like Noah's Ark, Solomon's building of the Temple, Jesus feeding the five thousand and other similar incidents.
The survey, a quick-fire quiz style, was designed to assess the assumption that Christians possess an in-depth knowledge of the Bible.

A lack of Bible knowledge, and in particular Bible prophecy, will hinder the understanding of the times in which we live and the urgency of the moment, related to Bible prophecy and the End Times. Christian leaders in the world today believe that the significance of God's Word, the Bible, is for living out the Christian faith in our world today.

The shocking fact is that 75% of regular church goers do not even have enough Bible knowledge to recognize the order of events unfolded in the Bible. And even a larger percentage of those same people do not understand the times in which we're living as unfolded by Bible prophecy, which is actually 30% of the Bible's content. Jesus said that He would send the Spirit of Truth, the Holy Spirit, to teach us things to come, in other words prophecy; that's found in John 16:13.

Through the Apostle Paul, our Lord told us to study the scriptures, II Timothy 2:15, so that we could discern the times in which we live today. Jesus also said through the Apostle John, who wrote the book of Revelation, that the scriptures found in Revelation 4-22 will reveal those things to happen yet in the future.

Bible prophecy will be fulfilled and it behooves followers of Christ to understand the urgency of the moment by reading the Bible prophecy passages in His Word.

An international team of earthquake specialists say that Indonesia faces a potential giant quake in the near future

A team of international scientists including a group from the California Institute of Technology says that the three major earthquakes in Indonesia recently have increased the likelihood of a major disaster with the potential for a giant quake in the near future.

With Indonesia's sumatra right on the equator, this island holds the deadliest stretch of ocean anyplace in the world, which was the location, by the way, that produced the tsunami several years ago that caused the deaths of over three hundred thousand people.

The team of earthquake specialists who traveled to the area say the potential giant quake could well be a rare magnitude nine quake and with the plates in the earth so tightly sprung, the quake will happen sooner rather than later.

With the recent earthquake activity and the potential for the giant quake in Indonesia, the world is witnessing what Jesus said would happen in the last days.

Across the world this last year there have many earthquakes in a number of different location. Most recently the three powerful quakes in Indonesia motivated a team of earthquake specialists to travel to the nation to try and determine the potential for additional quake activity.

The team of scientists have concluded that there is a potential for what they term a giant quake to happen in that part of the world and they say it could be sooner rather than later.

On the subject of earthquakes, Jesus said that a major indicator of the nearness of His return to the earth, the Second Coming, would be earthquake activity in different places, Matthew 24:7.

Jesus also gave the Apostle John the prophetic message of the Book of Revelation where he spoke about additional earthquake activity, including the worst earthquake that will ever take place on the earth, just before He comes back to the earth, Revelation 16:18.

The warning from a team of earthquake specialists of a giant quake in Indonesia is indeed evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled, and possibly in the very near future.

Scientists say the Arctic was once a tropical paradise

Scientists have found with first of its kind core samples dug up from the deep beneath the Arctic Ocean floor that 55 million years ago, according to their estimates, an area near the North Pole was practically a subtropical paradise.

The scientists say their findings are a glimpse backward into a much warmer than thought polar region heated by runamuck greenhouse gases that came about naturally.

The supposed scientific study that revealed the Arctic was a tropical paradise 55 million years ago also reveals that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled. A recent article in Nature Magazine featuring the report of researchers finding that millions of years ago the average temperature in the Arctic near the North Pole was 74 degrees Fahrenheit concludes that this Northern region was somewhat of a subtropical paradise.

Interestingly, these research scientists say they knew of this thermal event but can only suggest that perhaps massive releases of methane from the ocean or lots of volcanic eruptions caused the Arctic to have this greenhouse effect.

According to the biblical account of Creation, this scientific report is only partially true. The Arctic was once a tropical paradise. The Genesis account of Creation says that all the foliage that makes up a tropical region was actually brought into existence on the third day of Creation, that's Genesis 1:9-13. According to the biblical account of the worldwide Flood, that took place 1,500 years after Creation, there was no winter until after the Flood, when seasons first appeared, that's Genesis 8:22. Thus, the first 1,500 years after Creation there was indeed a greenhouse effect over all the earth, including the Arctic near the North Pole; the whole earth was a tropical paradise.

According to II Peter 3:3-8, these scientists who appear to be willfully ignorant of what really happened in the past, are evidence that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled.
