Jordan's King Abdullah on a recent trip to Washington, told the Washington Post that he was disappointed with President Bush's last visit to the Middle East and that the failure of the peace process is the major threat to the entire Middle East.
The Jordanian King said he thought the peace process had lost credibility in peoples' minds and the king cannot see a viable possibility of creating a two-state solution beyond 2008 or 2009. He believes this is really the last chance. A warning he reiterated to Israeli President Shimon Peres in their recent meeting in Petra. When asked if he thought Iran was currently the largest threat to the Middle East, the Jordanian leader said the lack of peace between Israel and the Palestinians is the current major threat.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
Jordanian King Abdullah has warned the world of the major threat to peace in the Middle East and it is inline with Bible prophecy for the End Times.
On a recent trip to Washington, D.C., the Jordanian leader King Abdullah warned that failure in the peace process between the Israelis and the Palestinians is the major threat to the Middle East region. The king believes that though Iran and its nuclear threat are of great concern for stability and security in the region, if there is no resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in 2008 or the latest 2009, the region will explode. King Abdullah believes this is the last chance for peace in the Middle East which is setting the stage for an End Times scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy.
When the Antichrist, the coming world ruler, comes on the scene, he will confirm a peace between Israel and its Arab enemies, Daniel 9:27. The long hoped for peace will calm things down, only temporarily. Bible prophecy reveals that the Israeli Palestinian conflict will heat up and only be resolved when Jesus Christ comes back to Earth, Ezekiel 35, Malachi 1 and Obadiah.
King Abdullah's warning actually gives us evidence of how close we are to the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
