The US special inspector general for Iraq's reconstruction has accused the US military of attempting to hide the fact that Iraq still remains a very dangerous place to work and is less safe than it was just a year ago, which is very disturbing in light of the fact that the US troops are scheduled to leave this war torn country without this Middle Eastern nation being rebuilt and stable.
US military leaders have attempted to brush aside this recent increase in violence even as Shiite terrorist groups are targeting US soldiers prior to their withdrawal to give the impression that they forced the US soldiers out of their country.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The recent increase in violence in the war torn country of Iraq is a precursor to the end of times scenario for Iraq that can be found in Bible prophecy.
As US soldiers get ready to leave Iraq there has been an uptick in violence in this war torn country that has some US officials concerned about Iraq's ability to rebuild its nation. The Iraqi government is dominated by Shiite Muslims, the same Islamic sect that rules Iran and many Iraqi Shiites have been Iranian trained and want to put in place an Islamic republic as the government with Shariah Law from the Koran as the law of the land.
Some Iraqi rebel leaders want the violence to continue as a threat to the Iraqi people in order to control them. However, there is a strong leader that will be coming to Iraq who will take charge with a dictatorial power, even stronger than the late Saddam Hussein; that dictator will be known by 27 names, but the one you know best is Antichrist.
Revelation 18 reveals that Babylon, modern day Iraq, will become an economic capital of the world in the 3 1/2 years that lead up to the return of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. This world leader will have everyone on earth to have an identification mark on his or her forehead or right hand in order to be able to buy or sell even the necessities of life, Revelation 13:16-17.
This report of an increase in violence in Iraq is indeed setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
