According to a forecast with new calculations by a pair of world renown astronomers; one from Mexico and the other from England, man has only so many years on this earth before it is dragged from it's orbit to a rapid vaporous death.
This report is the latest installment in a long running debate about the ultimate fate of the earth and the universe surrounding the earth. This report coming with word that the sun is getting hotter and hotter and it will continue to do so until it transforms itself into a red giant. These two astronomers, Dr Peter Schroeder and Dr Robert Smith say that if nature is left to its own devices, the earth will be destroyed in about 7 1/2 billion years; that's right "b", 7 1/2 billion years from now. Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News Two astronomers who are predicting the demise of the earth and the sun, are pretty much on target but their timing is a bit off, that is according to Bible prophecy. This report about the demise of the earth indicates that the sun is and will continue to get hotter and hotter until it drags the earth to a rapid, vaporous death. This is not the first such report from the field of science, it is an ongoing debate among scientists as to how and when the earth and much of our galaxy will be destroyed. This report on the ultimate fate of the earth that we are living on today pretty much is on target but as I said, the timing is a bit off, by billions of years. Bible prophecy says that the earth will be burned up, II Peter 3:10. Revelation 8 & 16 speak of the earth's destruction as the sun gets hotter and hotter. The Apostle John wrote in Revelation 21:1-2 that there will be a new earth and new heavens in the future. This scenario is also foretold by the ancient Jewish prophet, Isaiah, found in Isaiah 65:17 and 66:22. These prophecies will indeed be fulfilled; however, not in 7 1/2 billion years, but surely in the near future. |
