The former Prime Minister of Great Britain Tony Blair, who is the Middle East peace envoy for the Quartet, made a statement on a CNN interview that it is absolutely critical for prompt resumption of the peace talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians or otherwise, a vacuum will be created that will suit no one but the extremists. Blair, who is the Middle East peace envoy for the Quartet (United States, European Union, Russia, and the United Nations) says he is optimistic that peace can be achieved between the two peoples but negotiations must get under way as quickly as possible.
Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News
The optimism for a peace deal between the Israelis and Palestinians as revealed by the Middle East Peace Envoy Tony Blair is setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
For a number of years, world leaders have been working to bring about a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict but all to no avail. Today there seems to be no end in sight for such a resolution to come about as the peace talks seem to be nowhere near resuming in the future. Middle East Peace Envoy Tony Blair, however, is optimistic that if he can get the Israelis and the Palestinians to the table, he can get a peace agreement out of the negotiations but the talks must begin very soon.
This scenario has a very close similarity to the prophetic scenario for a peace in the Middle East as revealed in Bible prophecy. The ancient Jewish prophet Daniel wrote of the revival of the Roman Empire, the appearance of a world leader, and then this world leader bringing together a peace agreement between the Israelis and the Palestinians (Daniel 7:7-8 and 9:27).
The recent developments in the European Union looks like the stage is set for the appearance of the Revived Roman Empire. Tony Blair, who represents the European Union is optimistic about the peace deal between the Israelis and the Palestinians. All that is happening today is truly setting the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled in a future tomorrow.
